  “Okay, I get the idea.” He wrapped his arms around her. “You make me happy, Miranda.”

  “Do I?”

  “Yes,” he said, kissing her. “You always have.”

  Miranda smiled with excitement. All her old dreams were still fully alive, stronger now for being entwined with new dreams. She could almost feel the fresh shoots and blooms beginning to emerge.
