JAMIE TOLAGSON has worked as the artist on the cutting-edge comic The Crow. His work has also graced books from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, and Todd McFarlane Enterprises. Jamie provided the album cover art for Load Have Mercy for the Laser Edge.
JOHN VANFLEET was introduced to the Macintosh computer during his final year of college. He thought that his entire career was pointless, because that machine was ultimately going to replace every graphic designer on the planet. But John “dug” illustration. Starting with editorial and boring, dry technical illustration work, he still felt the desire to tell stories and make films. This matured into creating sequential art, over time. Originally John avoided working in comics, because all his friends were successful in that field. Still, he found himself at Marvel Comics and was offered a Hellraiser short story. Since then, John has been responsible for visualizing some very sophisticated comics, including Shadows Full, Typhoid Mary, and The X-Files. He has also done cover illustrations for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and spot illustrations for White Wolf Games. John also does the occasional illustration assignment, including numerous movie trading cards.
KENT WILLIAMS’ list of awards is extensive. It includes two medals from the Society of Illustrators-New York, the Yellow Kid Award, and the Joseph Henniger Award for Best of Show from Illustration West 32. His work on the illustrated series, Blood: A Tale, was a dark mirror of the human experience. Kent then turned his talents to a graphic novel for DC Comics, called Tell Me Dark. He has also created illustrations for Playboy, Penthouse, Eclipse Books, White Wolf, Image Comics, Todd McFarlane Enterprises, Omni magazine, The Learning Channel magazine, and National Geographic.

Friedman became a freelance writer in 1985, following the publication of his first novel, The Hammer and the Horn. Since then, he has written for television, radio, magazines, and comic books. His television credits include “Resistance,” a first-season episode of Star Trek: Voyager.
A native New Yorker, he lives with his wife and two sons on Long Island, where he spends his free time (what little of it there is) sailing, jogging, and playing rotisserie baseball.
