Of course, how would I know since my eyes haven’t left his cock yet?

I take in a deep, trembling breath and release it slowly, trying to figure out my next move. Sure, I’m human. It’s only natural for me to think about what that cock would feel like against my fingers, in my mouth and eventually my pussy. It would be easier if he didn’t give me the option. If he stuck it in me, I wouldn’t have to think so hard. It’d be in me, and I would know at last if the scales on his dick are as soft and dry as the ones on his abs.

Instinctively, I slide closer on the bed to his looming form.

I either need to take this dick in my mouth or turn away; I’m growing so curious.

He must sense my need because, after only another step from him and another slide from me, I’m staring at him from my seated spot on the bed. Can a dick smile? Because I swear, this one is when my lips grow closer, and Korben’s hands lift to grab my shoulders.

“You know I will not force you to do anything.” His voice cracks. “But this is what you asked of me, right? You wanted to see my cock?”

I nod like an idiot, feeling small and vulnerable under his gaze. He’s not driving his dick into my mouth. He’s not pushing me on the bed and diving between my thighs. He’s merely standing there. Allowing me to assess and process – but what, I’m not sure. How can I possibly focus on his story about hunting down women when there’s a rainbow scaled dick standing at full attention right in front of me?

His fingers around my shoulder curl slightly to get my attention, and an outpour of pussy drips between my thighs.

Not having sex was never this sexual.

And yet, I shouldn’t be enjoying this so much. I have to remember how this whole thing started. I wanted to see the others. As sick as it is, I miss them. I miss York’s bitchiness and Alaska’s otherworldly wisdom. Hell, I even miss Arizona and Phoebe. But it’s becoming more difficult to focus as Korben slowly lowers his mouth towards mine.

“Humans don’t mind kissing, do they?” his voice is thick, full lips brushing against mine.

“This isn’t Pretty Woman,” I mutter back, merely to see the confusion on his beautiful features.

“So this is okay?” His thumb brushes over my lower lip right before his lips touch mine. It’s a chaste kiss, no tongue and with no intention of getting anything more at first. Its sweet – more than I deserve, and his eyes look hesitant when he pulls away. “This is not bad for you, right?”

  I shake my head.

“And you do not feel as though you owe me?”

The way he asks makes my heart melt slightly. He’s always asking permission. He’s carrying so much guilt from being a Sidyth that it’s becoming increasingly more difficult not to take him seriously when he says he won’t harm me. And his eyes bore into me with such intensity and heat that I almost beg him for sex. Or at least for him to go down on me.

Ugh, but he’s a Sidyth. And worse than that, he’s a client. He owns me. I have to remember that otherwise I’m going to fall in love with him and be sent back to whoring in a few months.

But I don’t have any other way to make things better. There’s no telling what the other Sidyths on this planet will be like, and there’s no way Korben’s going to let me see the others unless I do what he wants.

I have to put some amount of trust in Korben’s words and trust in myself to trust him.

When did it all get so complicated?

So I nod, not sure if I mean it yet, but because I want to move forward. Because despite how much I’m unsure of what is to come, I know Korben’s attracted to me. He calls me his Chosen. Chosen for what, I’m not entirely sure, and I don’t have much time to think about it once Korben feels okay initiating his next move.

His lips crash against mine, and he moans loudly into my mouth. He tastes so good – like Christmas and cupcakes, unicorns and rainbows all molded into one. That forked tongue of his dances with mine as he slowly presses his chest into mine, lowering us both onto the bed. A thick fist curls into my dark hair, holding tight as he kisses me. It’s dangerous to get so caught up with someone like this, despite my joking earlier about kissing; I have to say that it’s not my favorite things to do with clients. Plus, Korben is so humanoid and kind. Kissing never leads to anything good.

But I don’t want to be passed on to someone possibly crueler than him.

And I do want to make sure the other girls are okay.

I suppose there are worse things than kissing something as sexy as Korben to get what I want. I tell myself that this is nothing more than another assignment, and I’m trying to keep the client happy. Although, there doesn’t seem to be as much of a risk of getting hurt if I don’t. And so, I become lost in his kisses. Wrapped up in his gentle way of holding me and find safety in his arms. I try to remember this assignment could take time to carry and birth a child for him, so I might as well enjoy myself. So, I wrap my legs around his thick torso, deepening our kisses.

It’s dangerous. I know that, but he’s so hot and sexy, and that rainbow shimmering cock of his is toying with my entrance. But he never goes in. He teases me because he won’t stick it in until he has permission.

“Will you let me see the others?” I gasp when our lips pull apart. “Please. I don’t need to see them for a long time; I want to make sure everyone’s still alive.”

“You worry that much for their safety?” he seems puzzled by this and judging by what he told me, I think I have a right to be. “I have told them that you are not to be treated like Sidyth women.”

“And that’s just it, and that’s great because we’re not Sidyth women. We’re humans. Humans that you purchased.”

His mouth pulls away from mine, and he straightens up, hanging all that muscular bulk over me. It’s hard not to feel intimidated.

“Korben, please,” I continue. “Sidyths have a reputation. And while you’ve been nothing but kind, others can be cruel.”

“We’re not all cruel,” he insists. “We’re a race run by cruel people. Tell me, Blythe. Is everyone on your homeworld like you?” He cocks his head to the side when I frown at him. “So you see, not everyone is cruel. Tell me, can I be so cruel if I risked everything to bring companions here knowing one might not even be with me?” He narrows his eyes.

“You bought Human Whores. Let’s not act like you’re Jesus.”

  “Who?”

“Nevermind.” My head turns to the side, eying the blanket over the doorway before I turn back to Korben. “So you want me to believe none of you are going to rape us?”

“If any of you are taken without consent, they will have to answer to me. Chosen or not Chosen. That is the whole reason we were exiled from our planet. Because we do not believe in that. Blythe, look at me.” He grabs my chin, pulling my attention back to him. “Like myself, my brothers will not do anything unless asked. You said it yourself, Sidyths are a cruel race. I am not alone in thinking this needs to change. At the very least, I would like to change this perspective for at least one person.”

  “A human whore’s?”

“You’re not a whore,” he insists.

My walls start to build again. How can he say something so easily? Of course, I’m a whore. And while it’s wonderful not to feel that way on this particular assignment, this room with Korben is not reality. It’s not my beginning or my ending. It’s simply the here and now, and I want to enjoy it.

“Korben, please. I know what I am. Can’t we just… enjoy this for what it is?”

“And what is this?” As though to tempt me further, a single finger dips into my folds, eliciting a horny gasp from my lips. “From the smell and feel of it, it appears that this is one excited human woman.” His voice lowers as he slowly pushes and pulls that finger creating more juice with each gentle thrust.

  It’s so hard to focus.

“I’ll do whatever you want if I know the other girls are okay,” I gasped between thrusts. “I want… to see… the girls.” My gasps and panting grow more frenzi
ed as he agrees but never stops working his fingers. I’m so wet now that I swear I’m gliding across the blankets on his bed. “Please,” I beg. “Please… just for a moment for two.”

“My feelings exactly,” he says, pumping so hard that I can’t focus on anything but my pleasure. The Sidyth is making me come yet again, and I haven’t even seen the others. He’s so good at this. He’s manipulative and downright sexy. “Tomorrow,” he growls. “You will see your friends tomorrow. You have my word.”

“And… what’s… that… worth?” I gasp, as a gentle vibration builds between my thighs. I have to come. I need to come.

And so I do, gasping out for air like I’ve arisen from the ocean.

“You decide.” He pulls his fingers away and stands up.

I can’t help narrowing my eyes. So he thinks he can win me over with the occasional orgasm, huh? Let’s see how much he likes it when I decide to leave his room while he’s asleep. Enough’s enough. I’ve played nice. I got a nice orgasm.

It’s time to woman up and make sure everyone else is as satisfied as I am.

  ***

Rolling over late into the night, Korben’s gentle snoring alerts me that he’s fallen asleep. He’s a pretty light sleeper; I know that now after a week, and I’m finally confident enough that I can sneak out of the room and come back without him knowing. My pussy still throbs from my earlier orgasm, and I know I’m risking losing all of that by disobeying him and leaving the room, but I can’t take it.

I don’t even know why I’m so impatient. He said I could see them tomorrow. It’s the first he’s ever given me a definite timeline, and if things were awful beyond his room, he wouldn’t offer me the chance to see.

But I’ve been under the thumb of so many men and aliens before; I want to show that if I want something for myself, I’m damn well going to get it no matter the cost.

Glancing over my shoulder, I watch to see if Korben moves when I push the curtain aside, and sure enough, nothing happens. He’s hard. I can see that when he rolls over onto his back, but it’s not time to focus on that. Or the fact that he sleeps in the nude. Honestly, I don’t know how he can sleep in the first place with those lamps blasting heat and light on him all the time, but that’s neither here nor there.

The air is different outside of his room, more like how I remember the first time coming into the Sidyth lair, and fortunately, the hallway is silent and empty.

Korben groans behind me in his sleep. “Be-lithe,” he mutters, smiling to himself.

Oh good God, do I want to risk everything to see the others when a kind alien is muttering my name in his sleep?

Hardly time passes before there are heavy footsteps around the corner. I can’t see who or what’s coming, so immediately I duck back into Korben’s room and peek out.

  More Sidyths.

I observe them quietly as they stride towards Korben’s room and stop a few yards away, dropping their thick hands under a white root protruding from the walls. They both splash their faces with the off-white liquid that seeps out from a crack, talking quietly – too quiet for my translator to pick up. But they are smiling as well. I watch with an uneasy feeling in my gut. Are they talking about the others? Are the others okay?

And then… something crawls across my fingers gripping the edge of the doorframe. It’s a disgusting thing – like a cross between a thousand-legged bug and a daddy long legged spider and I gasp out in surprise, flicking the thing to the floor before instinctively crushing it with my bare foot.

It appears I’ve been quiet enough that I haven’t woken Korben, but I have alerted the others of my presence.

Shooting my head up in surprise, three pairs of yellow eyes stare back at me. They’re all tall and thick like Korben, but none of them looks as kind. And one is wearing a mask over his mouth, making him look more unworldly and dangerous than the other two. I back away as they come closer, how could I not with three near seven foot, hulking aliens coming towards me, and their eyes take me in with a mixture of confusion and excitement. The one with the mask over his mouth glances above my head and behind me, probably wondering where the hell Korben is, and the other looks like he pities me. I don’t even want to think about why he looks that way.

“Going somewhere?” the third asks, cocking his head to the side just like Korben has done in the past.

I shake my head, too stunned and frightened by the three new presences.

  “Where’s Korben?” the largest asks.

“He’s asleep,” I say, fighting to keep my voice from trembling. I jut my thumb behind me. “He… uh… he said I could come and go as I please. I was going to get a drink.”

All three of them look amused at this, and the ugly one steps forward.

“That’s not what Korben told me,” he rumbles. “He said to return you to your room if you ever try to escape.” He goes to reach for me, and I snap my arm away.

“I’m not trying to escape,” I snarl. “I wanted to see some of my friends.”

“They are well taken care of,” the biggest one says – seeming to be the leader of the group. I remember him as being the one closest to Korben on the first day. This must be his second or something. But that doesn’t make him any less terrifying to look at. “You need to go back to your room before Korben wakes up. I will not tell him about this, but you must not go wandering around alone.”

“Why?” I snap, forgetting to lower my voice. “Is someone going to steal me from him?”

None of them answer. So much for a safe place.

I back into the room as the three of them continue to stare at me, but I refuse to be the one who goes away first.

“Are we going to do introductions before I go back to my room?” I ask, hoping that I don’t sound as afraid as I feel.

“You are Blythe, Korben’s Chosen one,” the big one says.

  “And you are?”

His lips flattened into a thin line. He does not attempt to hide the fact that he’s not amused with me. But still, no fists. No yelling, No throwing me over a shoulder and raping me. So far, this is not terrible.

“I am Hujun,” the big one says. “And this is Azan.” He tightly grips the shoulder of the one wearing a mask next to him. It’s hard not to get a chill when his deep yellow eyes land on mine. There's something wild about his appearance, and when there's a slight slurping sound within his mask, I know he’s smelling me. Why I don’t want to know, and I’m too afraid to ask anyway.

“And you?” I ask the one who hasn’t said anything yet. He’s grumpy looking, but lack of fear seems to be working in my favor so far.

The grumpy one hisses until Hujun elbows him in the chest. Hard. If he hit me with that much force, I’m willing to bet he’d break my ribs. But the third one merely stumbles back and frowns at me.

“Taylis,” he snarls. “Now go to your room like a good human.”

  My eyes widen. “Excuse me?”

  “I said—”

“Taylis, don’t start.” Hujun sounds irritated, but my courage has grown considerably, along with my stupidity, after the insult because I storm right up to the grumpy alien and poke my finger into the spot he was just elbowed in.

“My name is Blythe,” I say, glaring at him. “Not human.”

“Then go to your room, Be-lithe,” he says, looking more sarcastic and annoyed than ever. “Go back to your job.”

  I rush forward.

I don’t know what’s running through my head. Maybe it’s spending too much time with Korben. Maybe it’s the fact I have nothing to lose at this point, or maybe it’s years of built up anger. I’m tired of being thought of as a whore. Or an idiot. Or a plaything.

But suddenly I’m lunging at the sarcastic one in hopes of ripping out that forked tongue of his. But of course, I seem to have also forgotten that Sidyths are huge, not to mention strong, and Taylis easily snags my wrist before I can get a hand on him and lifts me until my feet are no longer touching the ground.

  I scream out in sur
prise, kicking and bucking, trying to break free, but Taylis’ grip doesn’t loosen.

“Release her!” Hujun explodes, lunging forward. “She is Korben’s—”

“She came after me!” Taylis protests, dropping me immediately.

I crash to the hard ground on my elbow, crying out again as the three argue above my head.

“Oh, get up, I didn’t hurt you.” Taylis seizes the arm I landed on and forcibly yanks me to my feet. “You Human Whores are so—”

“So what?” a fourth and, thank God, familiar voice thunders from behind.

I spin and rush behind the owner of the voice, no longer worried about how I come across.

It’s Korben. He doesn’t care either way.

But he cares about someone touching his Chosen because the next sound I hear is a heavy collision of flesh to flesh. Taylis stumbles backward into the one with a mask – Azan – who merely holds him up and shoves him back towards Korben. He seizes Taylis by the throat and lifts his feet off the ground before slamming his back into the wall across from his room. Their heavy bodies sound like earthquakes, and though I want to run back into my room for cover, I remain standing, frozen in fear as I watch Korben – my soft-spoken, if not slightly aloof titan – go total barbarian on the one who touched me.

Korben’s pulsing muscles almost make me tremble, if not for the fact he’s doing this for me. The other two stand and watch with bored expressions, not making a move to stop Korben or to grab me, and I’m more confused than ever about the dynamics of this strange underworld.

“What are you doing with her?” Korben’s voice comes out like a vicious hiss. A tone I’ve never heard him use before, even when he seems utterly frustrated with me. Taylis is frightened. How could he not be? No one’s coming to his aid, and Korben’s snarling loudly as though about to lose control. I get a good view of his fangs for the first time as his mouth gapes open, almost like a snake prepared to strike.
