“Do you mind if I say something?” I ask.
“If there is something you would like to offer, of course, I would be stupid to deny it.”
Steeling my jaw, I push slightly away from Korben so his brothers can see that while I am with him, I am my entity as well. I am a human woman – a whore – but I am also an individual. And no one, not even a former prince is going to take that away from me.
“The others…” I blush as they lean closer. I clear my throat and start again, finding my voice and keeping it steady. “The others are excited and nervous to meet you all as a group. You must understand that the reputation of the Sidyth people is not a good one – especially for women like us. For many, it will take some time for them to warm up to you.” Korben stiffens, but I push forward. “However, I do believe if you treat them well and make them feel valued and precious like Korben has done for me,” I stop for a moment to turn and smile up at him, “I have no doubt you will also find what you are looking for. I have been told your story, the reason that you are here, and eventually, my friends will find this out. Knowing you are not typical Sidyths will bring them comfort. They will be more likely to open up to you.”
“I want a Chosen of my own,” one calls. “And you are telling me I must sit and talk about things? Learn about Human Whores?” He sounds disgusted, but I hold my hand up to prevent Korben from going after him. No one else moves.
“That term will not be tolerated,” Korben rumbles behind me. I look where he stares ahead and find Iriel speaking yet again. “The humans, they are women. And that is all they are while in our care. They are not Sidyth women. They are not aggressors, but you will treat them as such. You will not uncompromisingly pursue them.”
“Consent,” Hujun adds in. “You will not make these women uncomfortable. If you wish to speak to one and she does not wish to speak to you, you will agree. If you want to touch or kiss one, and she does not want this, you will agree.”
“And what if I choose her?” Dolan asks, sounding as incredulous as ever. “Are you telling us if we choose a woman for our own and she doesn’t agree, we must agree to that as well?”
“That is exactly what I’m saying,” Korben says before Hujun can speak.
“Like you did with her?” Dolan asks, pointing an accusing finger at me.
Korben hisses when the others agree; growling and grumbling about how they don’t want to wait for a woman to want them. They may be good men, but they’re still Sidyth. This is not a utopia.
“Please!” I squeak, begging for my voice to be heard. The men continue to argue all around me, and Korben is becoming more difficult to restrain. Hujun helps, by reaching an arm out towards him and Azan is moving closer to the crowd. Noticing my dilemma though, Hujun barks for the others to fall silent, and it quickly follows. I swallow again. “Yes, Korben did take me without complete consent, but he never did anything more than that without me asking for it. If I wanted to talk, we talked. And if I wanted to sleep, we slept.”
“And if she wanted me to pleasure her, I did,” Korben adds helpfully (not really). “And it has made her trust in me, making it all the better. You can find this as well, brothers.”
“Yes!” I squeak, not wanting to be spoken over. I lean in closer to Korben and stand on my tip toes to kiss his squared jaw, capturing the attention of the Sidyths. This intrigues them. “Women do not have to be afraid of you. And they won’t be. Even the timidest of humans can be won over. But that is only if you are kind.” I blush, lowering my head. “And Korben is right. Like everything else, we would only have sex if I agreed. And because of that, it made the sex so much better.” I beamed up at him. “Like, really good.”
I’m all but purring as Korben lowers his gaze again. He’s enjoying the fact that I’ve called him a great lover. But this seems to draw the attention of others, and I notice a lot of shoulders slack and postures relax. Korben and I scan over the group with renewed expressions.
We’re no longer a former prince and his human whore.
We’re a unit. We’re the first to bond, and the others desperately want the chance to have what we have.
“How many are in the Gathering Room now?” Dolan asks in a slightly less eager voice. “I remember close to fifteen.”
“There are twelve. And eight others are at the smaller lair.”
“That’s not nearly enough,” Dolan points out. “I want one of my own.”
“I might be willing to share,” another says with a chuckle and others join.
“Consent,” Korben growls. “You may do what you wish if the woman is interested, but there will be no forcing. If you choose a woman, that is wonderful. But she must also choose you if there is going to be any chance of giving or receiving pleasure. And you must believe me, brothers, it is worth the wait.” He hisses possessively, pulling me closer to his chest. “There is nothing like tasting the juices of a woman who wants you to do so.”
“So there is a chance one of them could choose us?” Iriel asks, looking somewhat less skeptical.
I lift my chin. “Yes.”
“And is there a chance they could choose more than one?”
I bite my lower lip. I guess anything’s possible, but I have a difficult time saying it out loud. Most of Korben’s brothers haven’t even met most of the girls yet. “Let’s stick with one on one for now?” I offer with a confused expression.
“I suppose I can accept that.”
“At least there is a chance now,” Hujun reminds the group. “Remember, only a few days ago there wasn’t even a chance to find a woman who would like to go to our beds and allow us to taste them. And now there are twenty opportunities.”
“Nineteen.” Korben squeezes me to him.
Hujun bows. “My apologies. Yes, there are nineteen. That is more than we ever could have imagined. Korben has given us more than we deserve.”
A tense silence falls over the group, and I consider how many of them are still upset with being exiled in the first place. It’s angering to know twenty humans are a consolation prize. But still, there are no guarantees of what is going to happen to any of us if we don’t decide to stay. My heart is already more set with staying on a planet of Sidyth rebels, but how will the others feel?
“All I ask is for you to treat the girls with as much kindness as Korben has shown me,” I say, hoping that I’m not sticking my foot in my mouth. “And though I cannot promise everyone will get exactly what they want, this has to be better than nothing, right?” I scan over the group. “A chance to be with a woman has to be better than no one at all, correct?”
“I agree,” Korben says before anyone else can argue once again. “And as of this moment, I want everyone to know my Chosen’s word will hold as much weight as my own. And if she says the women must consent, you must. There will be no arguments on that.” He turns to Hujun and Azan. “You will help me make sure that my brothers are well behaved.”
“This is incredible.” Dolan rolls his eyes.
“Yes,” Hujun agrees dryly. “It will be incredible if any woman in their right mind wants to choose you, based on how you are behaving.” His frown grows deeper as he turns to Azan. “Your brother is mouthy today,” he notes. “Perhaps it would be best if he was not allowed to meet with the women today.”
Azan wordlessly agrees and Dolan’s expression shifts.
“No!” he gasps, looking childish. “Fine. I agree to these ridiculous terms.”
“Me too,” Iriel says.
“I, as well,” says another.
Slowly, the rest of the Sidyths step forward and agree before bowing slightly to Korben. It is amazing to watch how much they all still listen and respect him. How easy would it be for them to break away and fight for the women? Do they wish not to be seen as monsters as Korben explained earlier?
I shift uncomfortably as a small group forms around Korben, Azan, Hujun, and myself. It’s almost like a huddle in football, and I’m pretty sure no one would see me if they were standing around, I
m at least a head shorter than everyone else. There’s an intense smell of cedarwood, but Korben keeps me close to him, and Azan and Hujun seem to sandwich me in from both sides. It’s hard not to feel special and safe. To these Sidyths, we can be something special. We don’t have to be Human Whores, and we’re not expected to spread our legs for them simply because they want to taste us.
Korben has forced them to give us something many of us haven’t had in many years.
A chance to say no. A chance to say yes. A chance to choose.
My eyes water like an idiot, and I almost cry out in surprise when a large finger brushes against my cheek to catch the tear. It’s not Korben’s hand. Quickly, I shoot my head up to find Azan hunched over me with a curious expression hidden behind the mask. He holds his finger up to his eyes and tilts his head at me before turning towards Korben. Sidyths pull away from the group and wait for his reaction.
A strange silence that has fallen over the group with Azan holding a single tear on his fingertip. Some of them turn to me. I’m back to being the center of attention of many golden, snake-like eyes. They’re so large, but they all seem taken aback and curious by Azan’s discovery. I’m not sure what the big deal is, but when he holds the fingertip up to Korben’s face, he only shakes his head.
“No, it’s not what you think, brother,” Korben says.
And my eyes widen. What does Azan think he’s holding on his finger?
“It does not come from their eyes, brother,” Dolan smirks. “Stars and moons, Azan, don’t you know they drip between their legs?”
My expression shifts and Korben grows possessive yet again. Azan quickly wipes the finger off on his shorts and returns to his stoic expression. Does the masked Sidyth ever talk?
“It was an honest mistake,” Korben says, still shooting an odd look towards Azan. “And as much as it pains me to say so, Dolan is correct. The women do leak from their thighs. Some of you may already know that,” he shifts uncomfortably, “but for those who don’t, please attempt to learn about the women before you try to get them to choose you. My Chosen is strong and brave, but she is also fragile. And I am sure that many of these women have their own stories to tell if you would take the time to listen. We are not going anywhere any time soon. We have time. There is no need to rush.” He smiles. “And as I said before, I can promise you that tasting a woman’s juices that want you to do so, makes it all the sweeter.”
A smile quirks up at the corner of my mouth. It’s hard not to be a little turned on by Korben when he’s acting all prince-y in front of the others. Suddenly, I wish we didn’t have to take them all to the Gathering Room to make sure it doesn’t turn into an orgy but retire to our room for a little pleasure. My thighs are already damp from the heat and moisture now that we’ve gone further underground and I long for the days when I can go to the surface and stand in the rain.
But I’m sure the other girls are just as nervous. We spoke plenty last night about what was to be expected the following day, and I’m sure they’re terrified that this tense peace we’ve been allotted is about to come crashing down. Even after all this time, I’m still wary. Things can’t turn around. For years, all I’ve known is shit, and finally, a flower is starting to bloom from it? Can it happen? Are we going to find a happily ever after on a planet full of Sidyth rebels?
I nearly gasp out in surprise when Korben brushes his fingertips against my arms, and I’m shocked to find how much I became caught in my worries.
“Calm. I did not mean to frighten you.” His voice hardens slightly. “I must say, some of my brothers would like to speak with me for a moment… before we all go to the Gathering Room as a group.”
“Of course.”
“Uh, they have asked me to ask you to leave for a few moments.”
Oh.
“Now?” I ask. “Right now?”
“I am sorry, it seems now they have more questions than ever, and I do not want another occurrence like the one with Azan.” His head bobs. “Hujun will take you to the main space in this hall, and you will wait there for me.” Lowering, he whispers, “It is also a test, I believe. To see if I am comfortable enough sending my Chosen with another brother. But Hujun is my most trusted. You will be safe with him.” He pulls away and lowers back again. “They also want to see if human women can resist taking two brothers.”
And my eyes widen. They’re sending me away with Hujun to see if I’m able to resist fucking him? It’s hard not feel a little insulted with how simple some of these men think women are, but I also know it’s important, so I agree.
“I will make this up to you,” Korben promises in a low hiss.
“You better,” I say back, moving closer to Hujun who is holding his arm out as though expecting me to duck beneath it as I’ve done with Korben. “I can walk myself,” I say to him, hoping I haven’t offended him in any way. Luckily, he only moves forward, creating a small path for me between the curious Sidyths. Several tongues dart out as I go by, and I know it’s because they’re tasting me. They want to know if I’m aroused to go along with another Sidyth, I’m sure.
These bastards think human women are horndogs!
Hilarious, if not so insulting.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Korben
For days I have spoken to my brothers about the human women, but it’s only when they see me with one myself that they are truly interested in what is and what isn’t acceptable behavior. It annoys me, to say the least, especially after having to send Blythe away to prove she can be trusted now that I have chosen her. And some of them are still not convinced that the juices Azan caught on his fingertip are anything more than tears. My men have gone so long without a women’s touch they have forgotten what is and isn’t appropriate. It takes everything I have not to hiss and spar with them, but Blythe probably wouldn’t approve.
Still, my cock aches at the idea of seeing her with another Sidyth, even if Hujun is the only one who I trust with her.
“So she will not give him pleasure?” Silhaez asks. “I could smell her going by. She is excited.”
“She is excited by me,” I say, reminding him with a snarl. “And Hujun would never betray me like that.” I frown, hoping I’m correct. But I wouldn’t blame Hujun for wanting her. My Chosen is the best of all of the women here, and I have no intentions of sharing her with anyone. I can tell my brothers are curious about her because she is not as afraid as they would have guessed. I imagine most of those who were allowed into the Gathering Room saw women behaving differently than Blythe.
“And she has truly chosen you?” Silhaez presses on. “You did not have to force her?”
“Did she take you forcibly?” another asks.
“No and no,” I say. “I tell you, they are not like Sidyth women. They are not as strong, and you will find that even when they do try to squeeze you, that it is quite comfortable. There have been times when my Chosen has pulled on my hair when I taste her, but it’s surprisingly pleasant.” I shake my head, trying not to lose focus. “The point is, that my Chosen has picked me as I have chosen her.”
“That is so odd.” Dolan’s gaining a bit of his nerve again. “I find it so hard to believe that a woman would not want to choose more than one lover if given a choice.”
“Mine has made no request to pleasure anyone but me,” I say firmly.
“Are you sure?” Iriel asks, looking a bit hopeful.
I can’t stop the hiss that escapes me. He recalls how he first tried to claim Blythe for himself. He’s wondering if she’s ever asked about him, to have him join us when I taste her. I would kill him before he’d get a tongue on her skin.
“These women are not like Sidyth women,” I say, wishing Hujun was the one here standing beside me and not Azan. Azan – for as much as I trust him – has touched my woman thinking that he was touching her juices. And though he couldn’t have been more wrong, it bothers me that he would have the nerve to sample her right in front of me.
“Then what is it like?” Gl
ykoran asks, probably for nothing more than to distract the rest of the group. I am not worried about him trying to take Blythe or any human woman for that matter. He misses his wife and young sprog too much. But I appreciate the question nonetheless because this will give my brothers something to think about. Glykoran knows exactly what he’s doing when he asks his question, and a strained smile hits my lips as it dawns on me that I’ll have to share what pleasuring a human is like.
That I’ll have to describe what Blythe’s face looks like when she’s about to come. How she starts calling out to the deities from her world when she is close. And how… how humans have something inside their pussies that drives them wild. Momentarily distracted, I recall how Blythe screamed I found something in her; how she was confident I would find it again. That spot inside of her, I am not sure I want others to know about it before I have mastered it.
And that’s how I decide not to tell them anything. I claimed the first human; I should be the first one to master a human pussy.
“You will have to work to make a woman choose you,” I say at last. “And you’ll find out for sure.”
“So you won’t tell us about yours?” Iriel asks, frowning. “Perhaps there is nothing to tell—” the words die in his throat as Azan takes a step forward, narrowing his eyes. Iriel swallows and looks away, realizing that he would stand no chance against one of the largest Sidyths in the lair, but he still looks angry.
“You will see for yourself,” I say, hoping to soften the blow. “And there is plenty to tell.” I smile to myself, deciding to share a bit of information to make sure they know I am very much satisfying my Chosen. “Some of them have incredibly full breasts. They will fill up your hands like no Sidyth women ever could. And the heat between their legs will remind you of home.” I take a deep, dramatic breath to make my point. “And they will make you smile. They laugh and look at you as though you can be their deity. They do not simply mate with you, Brothers. They make you feel wanted. To human women, receiving pleasure is not an act; it is a joy. And if you find one who cares about you as much as I care about mine, then you must prepare.”
