Olivia was speechless. Overcome with joy, she wanted to race down the hall and into Liam’s loving arms—but first things first. “Come on, sweetheart, it’s time to give my baby away.”
She cast Tate a quick glance, and he gave her a gentlemanly bow, releasing her to her father. Olivia slipped her arm through her dad’s outstretched elbow and hugged him close to her side as they stepped onto the white aisle runner leading into the living room.
When she walked into the foyer, the scrape of chairs sounded loudly as the warriors stood, and in the front row, with her hand raised to her lips in awe, was Olivia’s mother. Her gaze lingered on her for only a moment before searching out and locking on Liam.
Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of her magnificent warrior. Clothed in a black and white tux with silver accent, he stood at the end of the aisle, waiting patiently for her with a knowing smile on his handsome face that made her knees go weak. Rebecca stood across from him, as her maid of honor, and Niall stood at his side. At the helm, standing behind the altar to officiate the ceremony, was Balen.
It was a good thing her dad was holding onto her because she wanted to race down the aisle and throw herself into Liam’s arms. She wanted to smother him with kisses and thank him over and over for bringing her parents here, and for making her dreams come true.
“Are you ready?” her father whispered as Henry started another chorus.
Olivia nodded, and her father took their first step forward—the first step of the rest of her life. As they passed, the rows of chairs, every eye in the room followed her, but they all seemed to shrink away until it was only her and Liam. His violet eyes burned brightly, love shining in their vibrant depths as bright as the morning star. As her father kissed her cheek and handed her into his care, Liam took her hands firmly in his and they both turned to face Balen.
As Balen began to speak, she could barely hear what he was saying over the pounding of her heartbeat. But then Liam turned to her, and the intensity of his violet gaze stole her breath away. Taking both of her hands in his, he said, “I do.”
From the corner of her eye, she saw Balen’s gaze focus on her. “Olivia, do you take Liam as your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, from this day forward, until death do you part?”
Without a second’s hesitation, she pledged her undying love and vowed, “I do.”
Letter from the author:
Thank you coming along on this journey to Redemption with me. I hope you’ve loved reading this series as much as I did writing it. It’s been a great ride, experiencing these character’s highs and lows, their trials and triumphs, and it is bittersweet to say goodbye. I realize there are certain characters in this series that have touched your heart and have not yet had their story told, or perhaps concluded. They are not forgotten. Watch for following stand-alones to come in my Beyond Redemption novels.
About the Author
Melynda Price:
An avid lover of paranormal romance, Melynda was inspired to write her own series after reading the Book of Enoch. She’s always had a fascination with stories about angels, and the role they’ve played in the history of our multi-dimensional world.
She attended Bethel University in Minnesota and graduated in 2003, holding AA, ASN and BSN degrees.
She lives in Northern Minnesota where she has plenty of snow-filled days to curl up in front of the fireplace with her Chihuahua, and a hot cup of coffee, to write. She’s blessed with two amazing children, and a wonderful husband of nineteen years.
Redemption Series:
“Writing the Redemption Series has been a fantastic adventure, culminating a world of mystery, suspense, love and deception. Have you ever wondered what it might be like to see beyond our dimension? Step into Olivia Norton’s world, where nothing is quite as it seems, and evil lurks where she least expects it.”
