Deporting Dominic Page 16

by Lindemann, Renee

“Damn it, come for me Samantha. Stop worrying let it happen. You are mine,” Dominic screamed as I jump in response. My mind is racing as the sensations and his voice take over.

“But I am…” I trailed off, as his voice is loud in my ear.

“Come for me. Come for your husband right fucking now,” he demanded. I explode loudly under the weight of his voice and his touch. I am screaming his name as my body convulses with the most wonderful sensations. I grip his arm to retain my balance in the slippery shower. He is still touching me as I look him in the face and come once more. The self-satisfying grin on his face reassures me that he is equally satisfied with me coming. I rethink that he is completely satisfied when I notice he is stroking his impressive length with his other hand. His skin is stretched as far as it will go completely engorged due to his extreme arousal. I immediately without thought drop to my knees taking him into my mouth. The protests he gave were forceful but dissolve into weak attempts to stop me as I take him to the back of my throat. In my mind I said, “Forgive me Father for I have sinned.”

Dominic tastes absolutely fantastic in my mouth and given that we are alone he lets me know exactly how much he is enjoying my oral work.

“Oh Sammie. That feel so fucking good, don’t stop baby.”

I am lost in my job sucking, teasing, and licking every inch of his erection. Dominic switches to Spanish as I become engrossed in my job. The Spanish echoing in the shower is more than I can comprehend and still perform my job. I let go of everything and give in to pleasing my future husband. I stroke him while gently sucking the sack underneath. Dominic grips the towel bar with one hand with the new sensation. I replace my mouth with my fingers gently massaging as I return to sucking his elongated shaft. Dominic is a wash of screams and growls as he comes into my mouth his hands fisted into my newly cropped hair.

“Sammie oh fuck, fuck awwww,” he yelled as I take every drop he has to offer. I nuzzle every part of him below the waist with my face before standing. Dominic buries his face in the crook of my neck holding onto my hips. We stand like this under the stream of water while I prepare my words. I want to tell him that I have been taking the necessary steps to convert to Catholicism but he beats me to it. The moment is there but I am still lost in our wonderful act. Dominic is trying to speak but his words are temporarily distorted. Finally he stammered, “My family wants us to go to morning mass before they leave tomorrow.”

“Ok baby,” I replied and it is settled that the truth will come out then.

We dry off in silence. We put on our pajamas in silence. We get into bed in silence. I begin to wonder if his mood has shifted again. I am wrestling with my own guilt when he pulls me into his strong arms.

“No woman has ever made me feel what I feel for you Sammie. I said that to you because God already knows what’s in my heart. Do not take on my Catholic guilt trip. I will said all the hail Maries I need for both of us tomorrow.” In his arms I am sated and relieved that he understands what I am feeling.

“We both will,” I murmur drifting off to sleep.

  CHAPTER 26

We enter the church finding a pew that can seat the entire family. Dominic holds my hand the entire time whispering the order of the service as we stand waiting for the entrance procession. I am smiling as he does this because I already understand what is about to happen. A blond woman I have not met sings the opening song as the priests and ministers enter the church. After reverencing at the altar they take their respective seats.

Father Foster walks to the podium as he greets the congregation, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

Dominic whispered, “Now we make the sign of the cross.” He crosses himself at the same time that I do still unaware that I am following the order of service with no problem.

  “Amen,” the congregation said loudly.

“The Lord be with you,” Father Foster said into the microphone.

“And also with you,” the entire congregation replied back. Father Foster introduces the Mass of the day including the readings of the day.

“I would also like to recognize those students in the congregation that graduated from the university in yesterday’s ceremony. We are very proud of your accomplishments. We ask that the Lord continue to bless you in your future endeavors. As you venture out into the world or decide to further your education please keep the Lord close as your guide. I would also like to offer congratulations to one of our parishioners Dominic Jesus Castillo not only graduated in yesterday’s ceremony but he also became engaged to fellow graduate Samantha Nicole Gable. We want to wish you both a blessed and fruitful marriage,” Father Foster announced. Members within our vicinity immediately offer congratulations, handshakes, and hugs at our good fortune.

Father Foster retreats to his seat and I spy a quick wink of his eye in my direction. I am smiling so brightly feeling the blessings that he has wished for us immediately. Father Anderson is giving the Rite of Blessing and I listen to the now familiar words before the congregation said the collective ‘amen’. Father Anderson moves through the small aisles of the church sprinkling Holy Water as the blond woman begins to sing another song. Father Anderson returns to the pulpit to begin an ancient hymn. I mouth the words that I have practiced while I was alone and Dominic looks at me with sheer disbelief. I give him a quick smile but continue to recite the words as he squeezes my hand. The opening prayer is followed by a moment of silence before we are officially seated.

The remainder of the service progresses as I have come to learn. I listen as the first reading concludes following along in the small black Bible that fits neatly into my purse. Dominic is holding his Bible open to show me the location of the current reading. Dominic’s family occasionally looks in my direction as the service proceeds. Aunt Rosa gives me a loving smile throughout the service and it warms my heart that they have accepted me as family. It means a lot to me that they would accept me and my children as part of their large family. I turn my attention to the presentation of the gifts remembering this portion of the service. Father Foster spoke so earnestly of its importance. I do not remember all the portions of the prayer and Dominic helped me along. I lean into him wanting to feel his love as we worship in the Lord’s house.

“You are following the service very well baby,” Dominic whispered as I snuggle into his embrace. I give him a quick nod as his arm wraps tenderly around me. After the Lord’s Prayer I have to release Dominic so that he can receive communion. One by one the family files out of the pew to stand in line to receive the consecrated bread and wine. As the other members of the congregation take their turn the blond woman and choir members begin to sing a hymn. I watch the remaining members receive the bread placed on their tongue before taking a sip out of the communal wine goblet. After everyone returns to his or her seat there is a period of silence.

Father Foster is facing me when I look up from my prayer asking for forgiveness for my previous days indiscretions with Dominic. I immediately give him a soft smile as he takes my hand gingerly pulling me. Dominic releases my other hand as I follow Father Foster to the end of the pew. Dominic looks puzzled as his family exchanges looks amongst each other.

“This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,” Father Foster said to me with Father Anderson at his side.

“Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only said the word and I shall be healed,” I replied. Father Anderson places the consecrated bread on my tongue.

“The body of Christ. The blood of Christ,” Father Anderson stated as I drink from the cup. Father Foster took a small basin of holy water and makes a cross on my forehead. The realization of what is happening brings an emotional response from not just me but my new family behind me. Father Foster and Father Anderson both take one of my hands as they say to the congregation, “Let us pray.”

The entire congregation is seated in prayer while I am still standing praying that my family remain safe, that my marriage is a
success, and that I make my parents proud. When they release me from prayer I take my seat next to Dominic. His face is both joyous and unsure of what just happened. I feel Aunt Rosa’s hand reach over to mine as she squeezes bowing her head. I close my eyes and allow my new family to pray for me and I assume Dominic also.

Father Foster returns to the pulpit as Father Anderson stands in front of his chair. Everyone stands once more as Father Foster said, “The Lord be with you.”

“And also with you,” the congregation replied in unison. Father Foster gives his final blessing and dismissal as the small choir concludes with a song.

"What just happened here Sammie?” Dominic asked me as other members came over to congratulate us and welcome me to the church.

“I have been taking classes with Father Foster for the past few weeks,” I said looking up at his handsome face.

Dominic wraps me up in his arms whispering in my ear, “Why didn’t you tell me baby?”

“I wanted it to be a surprise Dominic. I did not expect to receive communion today I still have more classes to finish.”

“I love you so much.” I wrap my arms around his entire body as he squeezes me tightly. The family and remaining congregation move away to give us some privacy. Dominic gives me a rather chaste kiss as Father Foster interrupts our moment by clearing his throat.

“If it is possible I would like to see you both in my office,” he asked kindly. Dominic tells his family to wait for us so that we can speak with Father Foster. We go into his simple office that has been my classroom taking a seat in front of his desk.

“I just wanted to speak to you both about your decision to marry. While we still have more teaching Samantha, I would like to officially welcome you to our Parrish.”

“Thank you Father Foster.” I offer as my gratitude explodes in a violent handshake.

“Dominic I have to ask based on what Samantha has told me if you are choosing to marry for convenience or for love?”

“Father Foster, I understand that we have some special circumstances to consider but I love Samantha so much I can’t put how I feel into words.” Dominic looked absolutely hopeless trying to express his feelings for me. I give his hand a quick squeeze as I said without words that the feeling is mutual.

“I need to make sure that you understand that marriage is a commitment to life and love based on your first commitment to God. This is not something to be entered into lightly. I want to see you both in my office for counseling,” Father Foster informed us. We both nod in agreement as our fingers lock together.

“I have to ask you these questions and I would like the absolute honest answer from both of you. Have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?”

“Yes we have,” we both chorused.

“Will you love and honor each other as husband and wife for the rest of your lives?” Father Foster sits forward in his chair as if it gives him the power to be a human lie detector.

I look directly into Dominic’s beautiful eyes as I said my answer, “I will love and honor you for the rest of my life.”

“I will love and honor you as my wife for the rest of my life,” Dominic professed. We both turn to Father Foster giving him bright smiles.

“Will you accept children lovingly from God, and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his Church?”

“Yes we will Father Foster,” we chorused once more.

“These are questions I will ask you once more during the ceremony. I want you both to understand not only their meaning but their significance in a blessed marriage. This is a commitment to each other but it is a bigger commitment you make to God. I think that considering the additional circumstances and what we have available we would be able to hold the ceremony at the end of the month.”

“That would be great Father Foster,” Dominic replied releasing my hand to shake Father Foster’s hand. I nod my agreement as I feel the tears pricking the corner of my eyes. I am going to be Mrs. Dominic Jesus Castillo in just a few short weeks.

“Samantha we will still meet at our usual times however we will need to have a few counseling sessions with both of you together. Several days before the ceremony we will have a rehearsal.”

Father Foster leans back in his chair resting his hands on the paunch of his stomach as he stares intently at both of us. I wonder what is going through his mind and I hope that he is not about to ask us about sex.

“Thank you so much for everything Father Foster. I am beyond grateful for all that you have done to assist us in this matter. I thank God everyday for bringing this man into my life. I cannot wait to be his wife.”

“I have to admit I do believe that the love that I am seeing between you two and for God feels genuine. I want you both to really think about what you’re committing to. Marriage is a blessed and beautiful thing but it is work. What you are going to have to remember when those tough days arrive is that you both made a commitment to God, to each other, and to your children to work through it all.”

“My life would be incomplete without Samantha. I will do my very best to be a faithful son of God, an excellent husband, father, and provider.” Dominic promised as he resumed his hold on my hand. Father Foster gets out of his chair and comes around the desk to stand before us. He takes our joined hands and we bow our heads to pray. I am unable to stop the tears as my heart is overjoyed in what the Lord has provided for me in a companion.

As we walk hand in hand from Father Foster’s office we see his family patiently waiting for us.

“We have a date of the last Saturday of this month for the wedding,” Dominic informed them.

“What a blessing?” Aunt Rosa exclaimed giving us both kisses on the cheeks.

“I am proud of you my nephew.” Uncle Hector shook Dominic’s hand. “Fine choice in a bride as well.”

I blush under his compliment as he takes me in his arms for a bear hug.

“Thank you Uncle Hector. Honestly thank you all for accepting me and my brood. I promise to take good care of this man right here,” I announce slipping my arm around Dominic’s waist.

“I am a very lucky man,” Dominic replies.

  CHAPTER 27

Dominic’s family has said their final, “Aidos.” They are heading back to Phoenix as we stand waving goodbye to them. I enjoyed meeting his two uncles, one aunt, and five cousins. I felt so fortunate to have this new group of people as part of my extended family. I retrieve my cell phone to call and check on the children.

“They are fine sweetheart. We will bring them home later we are heading to a friend’s house for swimming,” Aunt Camille informed me. “The family is still here you know.”

“I didn’t realize. Do the children have swimming gear at your house? Do you need me to bring them anything?” I asked as only an alert mother would.

“Hey Sammie I have done this before. My son maybe grown but I know what I am doing. We went to Wal-Mart this morning and got them a few things. Just enjoy your time with that new fiancé of yours okay. Stop worrying mama bear.” Camille’s voice is so soothing even as she softly admonishes me. After hanging up the phone I look over at Dominic.

“What do you want to do? The kids will not be home until later?”

I clearly interrupt his thoughts as he stands gazing at me.

  “What’s the matter Dom?”

“Nothing baby, this has been a great day that’s all. We could get some food and catch a movie,” he suggested. I grab his hand leading him to our minivan. Before I can get into the passenger side Dominic presses my body against the hot door unable to resist kissing me with ardent zeal. Pressing his forehead to mine he whispered, “Thank you.”

“So what are our wedding colors?” I questioned Dominic as he bites into a slice of his juicy steak.

“What? You can pick whatever you want. Just tell me what time I need to show up,” he replied after swallowing the delicious meat.

“Dominic you do not have to go picking o
ut bridesmaid’s dress but you could at least help with some of it. We only have a few weeks to plan,” I insisted as I take a fork full of green beans off my plate. We decided to eat at a local steakhouse before heading to the new Iron Man movie at a theater nearby.

“I thought that was just the kind of thing the bride does. I mean I really have no preference just as long as you and the kids are there I am happy. Oh and my parents of course. I have to call them and help them get their flights arranged.”

“Okay well I want to keep it simple. How many groomsmen will you have?”

“Let’s see Drake, Nicholas, my cousin Mario, and my little brother Diego. Could my sister Isabella be a bridesmaid she is sixteen now. My sister Renata is only twelve so she is too young.”

“Okay so I’m thinking Sidney of course, Cassie, Morgan, and your sister Isabella will be my bridesmaids.” I repeat taking out a small notebook from my purse that I use during my lessons with Father Foster. I immediately write down their names on a clean sheet of paper.

“We should have a toast,” Dominic suggested as he summons our waiter to the table. He orders us two glasses of champagne and I am a bit shocked given his misgivings about alcohol.

“You sure you want champagne Dominic,” I asked curiously.

“We have a lot to celebrate today Sammie. What you have done albeit behind my back converting and taking the classes still has me floored. I would never force you to change your religion.”

“I know Dominic but I want this for the rest of my life. We need to present a united front as we raise our family together.”

“Sammie you have me for life.” He raised the glass of liquid touching it lightly to my glass. I take a sip of the liquid and note the color of the bubbly fluid. That’s the colors champagne and ivory I want for my wedding. I write that quickly in my notebook after setting my glass back onto the table. We finish our meal talking about our future together.
