My Stepbrother Clark Page 3

“Of course he likes you; he’s your step brother, for god’s sake,” she said, rolling her eyes.

“No, that isn’t what I mean, Jenny,” Johnathon said insistently, taking a deep breath as he saw the confused look on her face. “He likes me,” he repeated, putting stress on the second word.

“You aren’t serious, are you?” she asked, a playful smile appearing on her lips. “You are pulling my leg, aren’t you?”

When she saw that my expression wasn’t changing, she gasped. Her eyes went wide, her hands moving up in front of her mouth. “Oh my gosh, you don’t mean…” she said hesitantly, letting the end of her sentence hang unspoken between the two of them.

Johnathon simply nodded, scratching the back of his head gently. “He totally kissed me yesterday.”

“He kissed you?” she asked, her voice echoing slightly around the verandah. A few of the other students eating at the other tables turned to look at them, Jenny forcing herself to lower her voice as she continued speaking. “Tell me everything,” she said insistently, her gaze seeming to burrow into Johnathon the longer she looked.

Keeping his voice low, Johnathon retold Jenny the events that had happened the night before. She didn’t interrupt a single time, her head resting on her interlocked fingers. She would simply nod along to his words, her face managing to remain neutral once more despite Johnathon knowing that what he was telling her was probably incredibly shocking. Jenny had confided in him many times about how hot she had found his step brother, so the news that he was not only not on the market for her but seemed to have feelings for his own step brother had to be a bit of a blow for her. Once he had finished talking she cleared her throat, fanning her face slightly. Johnathon noticed that her cheeks had turned a deep red after he had finished the last part of his story, a nervous smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

“I can’t believe that happened,” she said finally, lifting her small jug of milk and taking a sip from it to wet her now dry throat. “You aren’t lying to me about this, are you?”

“Why would I ever lie about something that other people would find so disgusting?” he asked incredulously, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

“Well, you guys aren’t technically related. He’s technically just the son of your step father, so that leaves that avenue totally open if you wanted to go that route. I guess I’m just having a bit of a hard time processing this is all,” she admitted, shaking her head gently. “Of all the people I thought would be gay, I can’t believe you and Clark are some of them.”

“I hope this doesn’t change our friendship at all,” Johnathon said quickly.

“Of course not. I would never stop being your friend over something like that,” she said with a smile, reaching over and patting the top of his hand reassuringly. “I guess I’m just curious about how you are going to proceed from here. Does your dad know?”

“I don’t think either he or Stacy know about me or Clark being gay, but I know that I won’t be able to keep that secret for long. Especially if Clark makes good on his promise about wanting us to start dating,” Johnathon said, leaning his head against his open palm as he sighed. “I can’t believe that my own step brother has the hots for me.”

“You say that like it is such a bad thing,” she replied with a laugh, pushing back from her chair and lifting her lunch tray. “I’m sure that things will work out just fine, Johnathon. Don’t fight it. This might just be fate.”

“That’s easy for you to say. You aren’t the one considering sleeping with your step brother,” Johnathon said with a nervous laugh that he knew didn’t sound the least bit convincing.

“No, but that also means that I’m not the one who is blinded by their own emotions and can’t see the bigger picture. Clark is a great guy; I’m sure the two of you could be rather happy together if you gave it a chance,” she said, looking up as the bell rang. “Welp, that’s my cue to go. Think about what I said, will you?”

“It would be hard not to,” Johnathon admitted, grabbing his tray and following Jenny, his thoughts just as jumbled as they had been when their conversation started.

  Chapter 8

Johnathon tapped his foot impatiently on the sidewalk as he waited for Clark to come get him. His step brother had apparently laid down for a nap around 1 pm and had woken up late, meaning that he was at least a half an hour away from being anywhere near the campus. Johnathon pouted at that, his arms crossing in front of his chest lightly. He had hoped that he would be able to head home straight after school to take advantage of the fact that it was the end of the week and he had no more classes to worry about until Monday. He was hoping to just veg out on the couch and watch movies, or maybe play some more Diablo III after picking up some fast food to munch on. Now he would have to wait, looking like an idiot as he sat on the nearby bench and watched his fellow students getting picked up or heading toward their vehicles to head home.

The sight of some of his fellow students getting picked up by their parents made him feel oddly melancholic, a frown tugging at the corner of his lip. He had not been picked up by his dad in a very long time. In fact, the last time that his father had done anything with him involving school had been when he attended Johnathon’s high school graduation. Even then, he had been forced to leave directly after Johnathon had walked to get his diploma to return a business call, and by the time the ceremony had ended he was gone. That had put him in a bad mood, and Johnathon had sulked silently in the car while he rode with Clark and his stepmother, Gabriella.

“What’s the matter, Royal? Your ride bail on you?”

It took everything in his power to not curse under his breath as he heard Chad’s mocking voice pipe up from his left side. He had been so engrossed in his thoughts that he hadn’t even noticed the football player approaching, his eyes gazing up to see that familiar cocky grin spread across Chad’s face.

“No, my ride didn’t bail. He just slept in a little bit,” Johnathon said defensively, allowing his eyes to move away from Chad dismissively. “What about you? Couldn’t convince one of your floozies to take you home today?”

“Ha! As if I need someone to drive me home. No, loser, I am driving my own car home today. I just noticed you sitting out here all by your lonesome and decided I would grace you with my company for a minute. You should be grateful that I’d even want to be seen with someone like you in public,” he said snootily.

“You know, Chad, they say that people who bully others usually either have low self-esteem or they have a crush on the person they are bullying. Is that what this is, Chad? Do you secretly like me but you are afraid to ask me out because you don’t want to look like a sissy in front of your friends?” Johnathon snapped back, his annoyance making him much bolder than he would be normally.

“Are you saying I’m some sort of faggot?” Chad asked softly, the anger in his voice unmistakable. “Is that what I’m hearing from you, Royals?”

“I wasn’t saying anything like that, Chad. But hey; if the shoe fits, wear that bitch,” Johnathon replied in a snarky manner, his eyes blazing with defiance. “You’ll be among good company if you are.”

“I like chicks, you little freak. What fun is banging dudes in the ass when you could enjoy the company of a nice, tight woman,” he growled, his eyes burning with unspoken rage. “Just because you like taking dicks up the ass doesn’t mean the rest of us do.”

“If you say so, Chad. It’s okay; I was in denial at first too. You’ll get over it eventually,” Johnathon said, standing up from the bench. He figured that he would go into the Student Union to grab something to eat while he waited, but Chad moved to stand right in front of him. His hands moved to grab Johnathon by the front of his shirt, balling some of the cloth with his fists as his face moved until it was mere inches away from Johnathon. “You know, Royals, I was only going to heckle you a bit today. After you ran your mouth, though, I think that I’m going to have to stomp your smug little face into this fucking sidewalk.”

/>   Johnathon swallowed at that, his eyes widening with fear as he realized Chad wasn’t bluffing. He tried to pull himself away but Chad’s grip was too strong on him. “I’m sorry, Chad. I didn’t realize it was such a sensitive subject for you.”

“The only thing I’m sensitive about is having a loser like you question my manhood,” he said with a growl, one of his fists pulling back into punching position. “Prepare to have that already ugly face of yours made even worse!”

Johnathon whimpered, closing his eyes as he waited for the inevitable impact. He had seen Chad beat people up before, so he didn’t know why he had thought he would be able to escape unscathed. When the punch never came, he cracked open one of his eyes just enough so that he could peek at Chad to see what was going on. Chad’s fist was being held back, the football player let out a pained grunt as his grip loosened on Johnathon enough for him to slip away. When he opened his eyes fully, he realized that Clark was standing behind Chad, his eyes blazing with obvious anger.

“Hell will freeze over before I ever allow you to harm one hair on my little step brother’s head,” he said softly. “Now, if you don’t want me to beat you up, I would recommend you get the hell out of my sight,” he growled, pulling Chad’s arm behind the footballer’s back in a submission hold he had learned in high school wrestling. “And if I ever hear that you bothered him again, I’ll come back here and break every single bone in your hand. Got it?”

Chad let out a pained squawk as his arm was twisted again. “Fine! I promise! Just let me go man; you are going to break my arm!”

Clark pushed Chad away from him, the footballer not even taking a moment to glance back at Johnathon before he bolted away, leaving just Johnathon and Clark standing together. Clark brushed his hand through his hair and exhaled deeply before smiling at Johnathon, his arm moving to loop around his shoulder gently. “How about we head home, eh kiddo?”

  Chapter 9

“Thank you for saving me, Clark,” Johnathon said softly as they rode in Clark’s car on the way back to the house, his hands resting in his lap as he gazed out the windshield.

“Don’t mention it. That is the kind of stuff that I’m here for, after all,” he said, offering Johnathon a gentle smile as he briefly looked over at him. “If there is one thing that I’ve never could stand, it's bullying. You make sure that you tell me if he ever tries to pull that kind of stuff again, alright?”

“I will,” Johnathon promised, a little smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Though, judging by how scared Chad looked, I don’t think I’m going to have to worry about that.”

Clark laughed at that, the sound helping to ease some of Johnathon’s remaining anxiety. He was so grateful that Clark had come to his rescue, yet he was also worried about the possible repercussions that could come about from him borderline assaulting Chad. He didn’t technically do anything besides hold back his arm. And Chad started it, so Clark could always say that he just did it to defend me. I’m sure it will be fine.

“So, did you think about what I said yesterday?” Clark said after a while, his eyes not leaving the road.

Johnathon blushed brightly at that, rubbing the back of his one hand nervously. “How could I not?”

“Well? Are you game for that?” Clark asked gently, his hand reaching over to gently squeeze Johnathon’s hand lightly. “I mean, I know that I only just sprang this on you a day ago. I can understand if you need some more time to think about it,” he added kindly. “Don’t feel like I’m pressuring you. If you aren’t ready to make that kind of commitment then I can wait.”

“When did you first know that you were developing feelings for me?” Johnathon looked over at Clark as he asked, paying close attention to his step brother’s face as he waited for his response.

“I would have to say it started when you were in middle school. I know that might sound creepy, but I swear that at that time I only had pure motivations. You would come home every other day talking about people bullying you, and you would only seem to calm down when you talked to me. I remember that the principal would call me in every now and then to talk to you when something happened to upset you, and I guess that as the years went by I realized that you needed a strong male role model in your life. After all, your dad is never around, so you and I have spent a lot of time together. I suppose my feelings for you were just a natural progression,” he said earnestly, pulling the car into the driveway of the three-bedroom townhouse that the family lived in and shut off his car.

“Oh, I see,” Johnathon said, smiling gently at the memory of Clark coming to comfort him on days that the school bullies had decided to say such hurtful things to him that he couldn’t seem to stop crying. Thinking back on it, it wasn’t hard for him to understand how Clark would go from feeling like a type of father figure to feeling something a little deeper. In all honesty, Johnathon had been feeling the same way for a while. He just hadn’t been brave enough to admit it until now.

He slipped out of the passenger’s seat and headed toward the front door of the house, pushing his house key into the lock and twisting until he heard the lock click. He pushed the door open, waiting for Clark to join him on the front steps before stepping into the house and leaving it to his step brother to close the door behind them. He smiled nervously at Clark as he set his backpack down on the living room table, plopping down onto the couch and letting out a drawn-out sigh.

”Long day, huh?” Clark asked, sitting down beside Johnathon and moving his arm to wrap gently around his shoulder. Johnathon nodded silently, allowing his head to rest on Clark’s chest as he closed his eyes. He could smell the scent of Clark’s Old Spice deodorant, the slightly spicy scent of cinnamon tickling his nose. He felt Clark move to sit forward slightly, the sound of the television soon reaching his ears.

“You could say that again,” Johnathon said with a sigh, opening his eyes and gazing up at his step brother. “At least I get the whole weekend to relax. Since mid-terms are starting next week all we have been doing is review sessions, and I feel confident on pretty much all my subjects, so I’m not too worried about doing well.”

“Look at you all on top of things; I like it,” Clark said with a grin, squeezing Johnathon’s shoulder gently before rising from his seat on the couch and heading toward the kitchen. “You want to have a beer with me to celebrate?”

It was the first time Clark had ever made such an offer to him, which struck Johnathon as kind of odd. However, in the aftermath of Clark putting Chad in his place, Johnathon was in a pretty good mood. “Sure, Clark, I’ll take one.”

“That’s the spirit,” he said with a laugh as he walked back into the room with a beer held in each can, handing one to Johnathon before sitting down on the couch once more. He cracked open the tab of his beer, pointing to the top of Johnathon’s and tapping it with his fingernail. “Do you know how to open one of these?”

“It’s just like a soda, isn’t it?” Johnathon asked, hooking his middle finger beneath the tab and pulling it, listening to the sound of the beer hissing as it popped open. Immediately a froth of bubbles flowed up to the top, threatening to overflow. Not knowing what else to do, Johnathon quickly lifted his can to his mouth and began to drink, closing his eyes as the bitter taste of the drink coated his tongue. When he had drunk half the can he lowered it, shuddering slightly as he set the can on the table. “Definitely not like a soda.”

“It’s an acquired taste, I admit,” Clark said, drinking his beer in a few gulps before setting his empty can on the table. “You’ll get used to it the more that you drink it.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get used to that taste. But I can think of something else I wouldn’t mind tasting again,” Johnathon said flirtatiously, his hand moving down to stroke over his step brother’s crotch lightly.

“I think that can be arranged,” Clark said, purring seductively. “But let’s go up to the bedroom first and make ourselves comfortable.

  Chapter 10

Johnathon found himself lying naked on Clark’s bed, his cock already standing stiff and ready as he watched Clark finish stripping off the last of his clothing. He was lying with a pillow beneath his butt to help raise it slightly, something that Clark had suggested in order to help the two of them be comfortable with what they were about to do. Clark had just pulled a bottle of lube out of his desk drawer, popping open the lid and squirting a bit of it onto his cock. His hand moved to spread the lube on his cock, making sure to coat his cock entirely before moving over to where Johnathon was lying and squirting some more onto two fingers.

Without giving Johnathon any warning, Clark began to gently push one of his lubed-up fingers into his ass, making Johnathon let out a quiet moan as he felt his stepbrother’s thick digit slipping inside of him. Clark soon added a second finger, doing his best to help stretch Johnathon’s virgin asshole in preparation for his thick cock. Johnathon’s cock was twitching with every movement of Clark’s finger, precum oozing out of the head of his cock and drooling down the side of his cock. He panted when Clark finally pulled his fingers out, looking up at his stepbrother bashfully as Clark moved so that his cock was pressed up against his slightly stretched hole.

“Alright, here we go, Johnathon,” Clark said quietly, his hand gripping the base of his own cock as he began to push forward, the head of his cock forcing Johnathon’s tight little pucker to slowly begin to spread open around it. Johnathon had to bite his bottom lip to keep himself from moaning too loudly, his back arching off the bed slightly as he unconsciously pushed his body toward Clark’s cock. They both moaned out in unison when the head of Clark’s cock finally managed to push its way inside, the thick head forcing Johnathon’s asshole to stretch out as more and more of that thick shaft began to disappear inside of him.

“F-Fuck, it’s so big,” Johnathon murmured, feeling his anal muscles clenching down on Clark’s invading cock. He was grateful that Clark seemed content to go slow, the feeling of his stepbrother's hot precum oozing out into his asshole and helping to further lubricate him.
