Indulgence

She reached behind her back, searching for Rick’s hand. “Don’t stop, Rick.” Samantha let out a squeal of pleasure as Rick entered her again. We were both inside her. She climaxed shortly thereafter, calling out both our names in desperation. I was so aroused I swore I’d be the first to orgasm; however, Rick withdrew and sprayed his seed on her back.

I rolled over with Sam in my arms. Now she was lying on the bed with me on top of her. Quickening my pace, I whispered in her ear, “You’re so beautiful, Samantha. Let me come inside you.”

“Yes,” she breathlessly whispered. So I came, hard, holding onto her for dear life.

There were no words to express the experience we had just shared. Lying on the bed, we fell asleep in one another’s arms Rick on the left, Sam in the middle, and me on the right side of the bed. For the first time in years, I fell into a deep, restful sleep. No nightmares invaded my dreams, only the faint sound of my best friends breathing next to me.

I awoke before the others and quietly crawled out of bed. I grabbed my clothes and crutch off the floor and walked into the hall, gently closing the bedroom door behind me.

Desperate for a shower, I stepped into the tub and let the hot water flow over my body. Had I dreamed the entire evening? It didn’t seem possible, yet I could still smell the scent of Samantha on my skin and see the kindness in Rick’s eyes as he shared her with me. Surely, what they had done last night was not wrong. It didn’t feel wrong. It felt like the most natural thing in the world. I was at ease with my friends; there was no embarrassment, even between Rick and me. We made love something I had never done with Jenna. Why was I feeling so confused?

Stepping out of the shower, I heard my stomach grumbled. I dressed, then headed for the kitchen to make breakfast. Neither Rick nor Sam were good cooks. Cooking helped clear my mind and gave me something to focus on. I had become a good cook over the years, since Granddad couldn’t even make a can of soup without burning it.

It wasn't long before the smell of fried eggs and bacon drew my friends from their sleep. Sam greeted me with a quick kiss on the lips. Rick gently patted me on the back. We ate breakfast in silence. When we were finished, Sam helped me clear the plates. As I stood over the sink washing the dishes, I said, “I feel like I betrayed Jenna.”

“You’re under a lot a stress. It’s only natural that the lines between love and friendship are blurred.” Sam tried to comfort me.

“How can I face her again?”

Rick leaned against the counter finishing his orange juice. “Jenna will be so happy to see you, it won’t matter what we did.”

Sam punched Rick in the arm. “Richard, show some sensitivity, will you?”

“Ouch! Look, all I’m trying to say is that Jake needed us last night and we loved him. What’s so wrong about that?”

“Nothing at all,” Sam agreed with conviction.

I looked at my two dear friends. Here they were, trying to cheer me up again. They truly were the two most selfless people I had ever known. “Thank you,” I said from the heart. “I don’t know what I would do without you.”

  Chapter Ten

I walked into the living room to find Rick playing NBA 2K13 on the Xbox. “Want to play?” he asked, not looking up from the TV.

“Yeah, cause I can actually kick your ass at this game,” I replied, taking a seat, grateful for the distraction.

  “Bring it on,” he grinned.

We played. It was a close game, but I was triumphant. “Ha, ha. Take that, Welsh!”

“You suck, you know that, Jake?”

“Hey, this could never happen in real life, so let me enjoy my victory.”

Rick ceded his defeat. “You know I’d give anything for you to have a moment of victory on the court to be able to feel that adrenaline,” he said in all seriousness.

I placed the game controller on the coffee table and turned to face him. “I know. You’re an incredible friend.”

I heard a car pull up outside the cabin. Rick and I went outside to the front porch, joining Sam. She was sitting on the porch swing, reading. Mr. and Mrs. Welsh exited the car. Mrs. Welsh came armed with bags of groceries. “Hello, Jake. How are you?”

“I’m okay. You didn’t have to bring all these groceries.”

“Of course I did. You kids can’t live on microwave food.”

  “Granddad doesn’t own a microwave.”

“Jake’s a great cook,” Rick piped in.

“Well, maybe you can give Rick some tips then.”

“I’ll see what I can do,” I promised. The Welshes entered the house with Rick and Sam in tow.

That left Jenna and me alone. She hugged me. “I missed you,” she whispered in my ear.

“I missed you, too. I’m so tired of everyone asking how I’m doing. Thanks for not being one of them.”

“You’ve had a lot of things to deal with the funeral, the will, finals. I’m not upset about it. We’re together now. I thought we could celebrate tonight.” The twinkle in her eye held promise. I couldn’t help but wonder if making love to Jenna would feel the same as it had with Sam.

We sat down at the table and ate the lunch that Mrs. Welsh brought with her. We had delicious mozzarella panini we warmed up in the oven, and homemade iced tea. After a two-hour visit, Mr. and Mrs. Welsh waved to us as they drove away in the minivan. Jenna leaned on my shoulder once they were out of sight. Rick and Sam walked back into the house.

“I’m glad you’re here,” I said to Jenna once we were alone. “I’m sorry I wasn’t back home for your graduation and birthday.” Jenna’s eighteenth birthday had been a few days before. “I’ve been a shitty boyfriend.”

“You need your friends right now. I get that.”

I looked into her eyes and tried to read her thoughts. Could she possibly have any clue what had transpired the other night between Rick and Sam and me? Jenna wasn’t angry or upset. She was calm and supportive. I considered confessing the three-way, but just couldn’t do it. It was a one time thing. It couldn’t happen again. Why should I hurt Jenna’s feelings to ease my guilty conscience? We sat there for a while, swinging back and forth. I could hear the TV inside the house. Rick and Sam must have been watching a DVD.

“You ready to go inside?” I asked, touching Jenna’s bare knee.

“Sure,” she replied, taking my hand.

We walked inside the house and found Rick and Sam curled up on the sofa. I looked at Jenna, curious if she wanted to sit down and watch the movie. Our eyes locked in a deep gaze. Jenna wasn’t interested in the movie. Rick glanced over at me and shrugged. I took Jenna’s hand and led her to my bedroom.

I closed the door with a soft click and locked it. “The past week has been crazy. I have so much to tell you.”

“Not tonight,” she interrupted. “I don’t want to talk. I just want to be with you.”

“What about Rick and Sam?” I asked, slightly nervous since they were just in the other room.

“I’m sure they can figure out what we’re doing in here.” She closed the distance between us and whispered, “We’ll just have to be quiet. I want to make love with you, Jake.”

Jenna and I were great at messing around, but we had never gone all the way. Now nothing was stopping us. We were alone, without adult supervision. All I had to do was say yes. Visions of Jenna naked flashed through my mind. The memory of my night with Rick and Sam was fresh, too.

Jenna pulled off her tank top. She wasn’t wearing a bra. She was so gorgeous it hurt. I gave in to my desire because I wanted to be with Jenna, needed to be inside her. We undressed each other with clumsy abandon and fell back onto the bed. I trailed tiny kisses along her chin, down her neck to her breast. My hand slid over her inner thigh and to her sex. She was already wet and eager for me.

“There’s a condom in my shorts pocket,” Jenna said with a shortness of breath.

I reached down to the floor and picked up her shorts. I fumbled with the pockets until I found the one that contained the foil pack
et and pulled it out. I ripped the foil and unrolled the latex over my erection. Slowly, I lowered myself on top of Jenna and slipped inside her. Jenna’s warm, wet muscle tightened around me and made me moan. I began to move in and out, slow and deliberate, not wanting to hurt her. Jenna placed her hands on my ass and pulled me deeper inside her. I was surprised by her action and I stilled, panting with excitement.

“What is it? Why did you stop?”

“You’re going to make me come, Jenna.”

  “Please come, Jake,” she pleaded.

“Not until you come first,” I replied. With a quick motion, I rolled her over so I was lying on the mattress and she was on top of me. I firmly held her hips while she rocked back and forth. She arched back as her hands rubbed over my nipples. Our breathing grew shallow as her grinding became faster. Jenna bit her bottom lip to silence her ecstasy as she climaxed. A moment later, I turned my head towards the pillow to stifle my groan.

I withdrew and disposed of the condom, then I pulled her into my arms and kissed her shoulder.

  “That was wonderful, Jake.”

  “You make me happy, Jenna.”

“Where did you learn to do that?” she asked, rolling over to face me.

“I got some tips from Rick,” I admitted, just happening to leave out the part about the threesome.

“Well, they were good tips.” She kissed me, slow and sensual. “I can’t wait to see what else my brother told you.”

I chuckled. “Yes, but give me a little time to recoup.”

The sun beating through the blinds woke me the next morning. I looked over and Jenna was snuggled against me, her brown hair covering her face. I could get used to waking up like this. I had to go to the bathroom, so I carefully removed my arm from under her neck and slid off the bed.

I used the toilet and brushed my teeth before I made my way to the kitchen. Sam was already up, sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of tea and her Kindle. “Hey, Jake,” she greeted, looking up at me.

  “Rick still sleeping?”

“You know it,” she replied, setting her Kindle to sleep to give me her undivided attention. “Did you sleep well?” she asked with a knowing smile.

  “Something like that,” I blushed.

Sam stood up from the kitchen table and hugged me. “I’m so happy for you.”

“Thanks, Sam. Thought I’d make Jenna breakfast in bed.”

“Brilliant idea. When you’re finished, maybe you can impart some of your wisdom to Rick.”

“You don’t want Rick to make you breakfast,” I informed her.

Sam laughed. “You’re probably right about that.”

“I’ll make you breakfast in bed someday,” I promised, not really sure what prompted me to say it.

“You’re too sweet, Jake. I’ll leave you to it. I’ll be out on the front porch reading.” She playfully swatted me on the ass, then left the room.

I whipped up some scrambled eggs and toast with fresh sliced strawberries. After searching, I found an old wooden tray on the top shelf of the cupboard. I prepared the tray and made my way back to my bedroom.

Jenna was slowly opening her eyes as I closed the bedroom door with my crutch. I placed the tray on the bed and leaned in to kiss her. “Hi.”

“Hi,” she said back, flashing a radiant smile.

  “Made you breakfast.”

“You are the best boyfriend ever.”

“You’re doing wonders for my ego, Jenna. Scoot over, I’m hungry.”

She pulled the sheet up over her naked body and slid over, giving me room to sit down. We both had a voracious appetite and devoured our breakfast. When the plates were empty, I set the tray on the floor. “What shall we do today?” I asked Jenna, putting my arm around her shoulder.

She snuggled into the crook of my arm and sighed. “We can stay in bed all day,” she replied with a mischievous grin.

“It’s a tantalizing option,” I agreed. “But what if we take a walk and take the row boat out on the lake. We can have a picnic lunch.”

  “Are you making the food?”

  “Yes.”

“Then I’m in.” She kissed me on the cheek and then grabbed the sheet to wrap around her body. “I’m going to get a shower.”

“I’ll be in the kitchen when you’re ready.”

Jenna entered the kitchen, showered and ready for the day. She wore a pair of denim cutoffs and a white, fitted, V-neck tee shirt. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. It was so sexy, all I could think about was pulling out the pins and letting her hair down so I could run my fingers through it.

I had just finished packing the wicker basket with our lunch and closed the lid. “Ready to go?”

I offered my arm and Jenna took it. Sam was still sitting on the porch swing, reading her book, when I opened the front door.

“You two heading out?” Sam asked.

“Yeah, We’re having a picnic by the lake.”

“Have fun! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” Sam teased.

“Go get that lazy ass brother of mine out of bed. You can both join us,” Jenna said.

“No, you two deserve some time alone. Enjoy it.”

I winked at Sam before Jenna and I departed. We walked down the trail toward the lake, passing a family and a few fishermen. The weather was perfect: bright and sunny, yet no humidity. The trees provided the perfect amount of shade to ward off sunburn. “It’s so beautiful. I could spend the whole summer here,” Jenna admitted, taking in her surroundings.

“I don’t know if your mom and dad will go for that.”

“I know. They’re already bugging be about getting a summer job. Are you going to work this summer, Jake?”

“I was thinking about it. I don’t have to watch over Granddad now, and having some extra money stashed for college would help.”

We took the row boat out onto the lake and had a great time sitting back, listening to music, and talking. When we were hungry, I rowed back to shore and helped Jenna out of the boat. Finding a perfect spot under a tree secluded from tourists, Jenna laid down the plaid blanket. I knelt down and opened the picnic basket. Jenna sat next to me, peeking over the edge. I pulled out a bottle of water, turkey and Brie on a baguette, and potato chips.

We ate and talked, enjoying one another’s company. Jenna cleared the trash and put it back in the basket when we were finished. We lay on the blanket, looking up at the clouds in the sky and daydreamed.

“This has been a perfect day,” Jenna wistfully sighed.

I had to agree. If I could remain this happy, maybe we should just stay there all summer. I drew her in to me and kissed her. It started out innocently enough, but I couldn’t seem to help myself.

“If you don’t stop right now, I’ll have to take you right here,” she said as she pulled away.

“Is that a promise?” I challenged.

We kissed for several more minutes until my excitement grew. Jenna’s hand cupped me and my cock twitched. Then she was unzipping my jeans, freeing me so she could take me in her mouth. I leaned back on my elbows and looked around us, hoping we couldn’t be seen by anyone. I was so turned on by her bold move, I laid back and closed my eyes, concentrating on the warmth of her mouth, the heat of her tongue, and the strength of her hand. It didn’t take long for Jenna to finesse me to ejaculate.

I certainly wasn’t going to take without giving in return. I zipped up my jeans and eased Jenna back onto the blanket. I unbuttoned her shorts to find she wasn’t wearing any panties. “I love how flirtatious you are,” I whispered as I kissed her inner thigh.

“I just can’t help it when it comes to you,” she said, running her fingers through my raven hair.

I slipped a finger inside her and my tongue found her clit, laving it until she squirmed under the pressure. “Oh, please don’t stop, Jake.” I wasn’t going to stop and continued to work her into a frenzy. This time, she didn’t suppress her desire and moaned with delight as the orgasm overcame her.

  I
buttoned up her shorts and took her in my arms.

  “What are you thinking, Jake?”

“I can’t believe how happy I feel. It seems all too good to be true. Sort of like I’m having this really pleasant dream and at any moment I’ll wake up and find I’m living a nightmare.”

“There’s no reason for nightmares anymore. I see a bright future ahead of you.”

That was exactly what I needed to hear. Jenna may have only been eighteen–years old, but she was wise beyond her years. The more I began to love Jenna, the more I began to worry what would happen when college started up again. Jenna had been accepted to Florida State. She wanted to escape the cold winters; I could hardly blame her. She deserved to be free to experience that without being tied down to me. I wondered how long our relationship would survive if we attempted the long distance thing. Today, I decided to leave my worries behind and counted my blessings, so grateful to have Jenna in my life.

  Chapter Eleven

A week later, we were packing up the cabin and getting ready for our return home. The past week had been one of the best weeks of my life. I was sad to go, but excited for the rest of the summer. Sam was going to talk to her parents about moving in with Rick and me. I’d be able to see Jenna everyday. I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my vacation.

Jenna, Sam, and I sat at the kitchen table, looking at paint swatches. Sam suggested we ‘freshen up’ the house and make it feel more like my home. I had to agree, but didn’t want to spend too much money. Sam said the best and most inexpensive way to make a change was to paint the walls. If all four of us chipped in manpower, it wouldn’t take long at all. Jenna and Sam were debating the benefits of picking a neutral color versus something more ‘manly’ whatever that meant. Meanwhile, I was online looking for a new bed. Now that Jenna and are were spending more time there, I needed to upgrade the twin-size to something bigger.

“Which do you like better, Jake Silver Sage or Ozone?” Sam asked, pushing the paint sample towards me.
