“So, what do we do first? What’s there to do here?” Nikki finally asked, her grin never faltering. “I’ve never been on a cruise ship before, this is amazing. Are we going anywhere? I mean the ship, is it staying docked or going somewhere?”
“We are leaving the dock, but not going to far since it’s only a night cruise.”
“Okay.” She nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer. Walking up to him, she slipped her hands around his neck and pulled herself tight to him, her body melting against his. “Do we have some time, or do you have something planned?”
He groaned inwardly. It had been a while since they’d made love and he wouldn’t like anything more than to be deep inside of her, but he’d planned a spectacular night for her. Indulging in her body would be the cherry on the cake at the end of the night. “If you’re ready, how about we head up to the main deck, dinner is in less than an hour.”

The boat was spectacular. Truly, remarkable. There was a pool and hot tub on the deck and with it being a beautiful summer night, she suspected after dinner the pool would be crowded. If they ate supper quick enough, perhaps they could beat the crowd.
“This way.” Grant urged her forward and into the dining room.
She was even more impressed as they entered what she could only define as a ballroom. A couple dozen tables of eight were dressed and were quickly filling up, guests taking their assigned seats. Everyone was dressed formally. So many beautiful women in one room, it made her feel a little inadequate. She was out of her element with these people, though she wasn’t going to let that deter her.
“We’re at table nine,” Grant stated, veering them off to the left.
Finding the table, Grant stepped ahead and pulled her chair out for her. Giving him a smile of gratitude, Nikki looked to the man to the right of her and gasped. Thankfully, not an embarrassing loud gasp, but more of a soft hissing sound.
She looked from her favorite actor, Keith Winters, to Grant and then back again.
Holy shit! Keith Winters! I can’t stare. Just gotta act natural. Like I have no idea who he is… she coached herself. Looking back to Grant she mouthed, “Keith Winters.”
He nodded, with a coy grin on his lips. He knew. Holy shit, he knew all along who was going to be sitting at our table!
She couldn’t help herself, she had to take another look; like really, it was Keith Winters, who wouldn’t stare if one of their all-time favorite actors was sitting next to them? She leaned forward slightly to catch a glimpse of who he had for a date for the night. He had a reputation for being a bit of a player. The woman was very slender with red-ish colored hair, bright green eyes and just a trace of freckles along the bridge of her nose. Nikki couldn’t place her exactly, but the girl looked somewhat familiar. No doubt a model or something of the sort and she’d seen her on the cover of some magazine while in line at the grocery store.
Her gaze shifted back to Keith, cutting her gaze away when he turned his head in her direction. So embarrassing. She felt the heat begin to color her cheeks.
“Hey Grant, how’ve you been?”
Nikki’s breath caught hearing the actor acknowledge her husband by name. Brows furrowing, she shot her husband a look which he ignored as he leaned over her, smiled and responded.
“Been good. Taking things a little slow. We just had a baby.” Grant motioned towards Nikki and continued. “This is my wife, Nikki.”
Snapping her mouth shut, she turned in her chair to face Keith again. She could still feel the heat that had just colored her cheeks. Hopefully, he’d just think it was her make-up causing the rosy hue.
“Hi.” She offered him an embarrassed smile and took the hand he was offering to her to shake. He had a firm grip and his hand was incredibly soft. She forced herself to hold his gaze. Damn, even his eyes were sexy, no wonder he seemed to hook up with all of his co-stars. It would be impossible to resist him, regardless of whether you were a celebrity in your own right, or just an ordinary fan girl.
The warmth of Grant’s hand on her shoulder as he leaned in broke the temporary fan-girl spell Keith had over her. She immediately pulled her hand from his and leaned back against Grant’s strong chest, the smell of his cologne surrounding her and reminding her that she had the most incredible and sexy husband in the world.
Looking over her shoulder, she examined Grant’s strong jaw as he spoke with the actor, what was being said not registering in her mind. When she focused her attention back to Keith, a realization came to her. One that she hadn’t really considered before. Keith Winters was just a man. Famous actor or not, he was a man, just like her husband – just like any other man that walked the streets each day. He was handsome – no doubt, but a man none-the-less. While he gravitated towards romantic comedy, he had done a couple of action movies. He’d been in fake shootouts and taken down the big, bad guys.
Another big realization hit her, along with a wave of guilt. She looked hard at her husband. He did that stuff for a living. He wasn’t using stunt doubles or special effects, he was putting his life in the line of fire in order to help his country and even the world. She looked at him with the admiration in her eyes that used to be there before they got married and had a baby.
When did he lose the hero status with her? Maybe not lose it; it was certainly there while she looked up at him. But she’d forgotten. Or taken for granted. For the sake of sating her fears of losing him, he was losing a big part of who he was.
Fuck.
“What’s the matter?” He looked down at her with concern. “Are you feeling okay?”
Nodding, Nikki leaned over and kissed him, a sweet, but sensual kiss that gave him a hint of what was to come later tonight. A part of her wanted to give up the whole dinner and proceed back to their lovely room and show him how much she wanted and needed him. But, her stomach grumbling argued getting him alone could wait – at least until they got something to eat. They would need the energy.
Chapter 7
Grant
What in the hell is up with her? He expected Nikki to be all over Keith, asking about this and that movie. He’d starred in her favorite movie of all time for christsakes. He’d hoped that she’d take advantage of the fact she spent nearly an hour next to him, he’d gone to a fair amount of effort to arrange the night to happen. She talked to the actor, but her interested seemed to be focused on him.
So odd. Though in a way it made him feel good. She’d been looking at him like she had when they first got together, flirty glances from time to time, along with coy smiles. What in the hell was going on?
“All the ballroom dance lessons haven’t gone to waste,” Nikki started as she twirled back into his arms. She looked so full of life, living in the moment. There were no worries or distress etched in her face as she looked up at him. The worry lines had been there so frequently that he’d almost forgotten what she looked like without them.
“Why did you stop with the lessons, anyhow?” He never did know. She did sometime before they were married, at least he thought. He was embarrassed to admit that he didn’t know exactly when.
She slipped her arm over his shoulder and put her hand in his. “Just did. Life.”
“Uh-huh.”
Her smile faded and a frown took its place. “Am I losing it?”
“What?” Losing what?
She laughed and shook her head, a lock of her dark hair spilling into her face. “Never mind.”
“No. Tell me.”
“I sometimes feel like I’m losing a lot of what I used to be.”
“What do you mean?” She blushed and lowered her gaze. He refused to allow her to shut down on him. Raising his hand from her waist to her chin, he tilted her head up so that she met his gaze. “What do you mean?”
She attempted a smile, but it was half-hearted at best. “I miss us having fun. And I miss school, and dance classes and doing stupid things like getting drunk.”
Laughing, Grant motioned to
the bar closest to them. “Getting drunk here would be easy enough.”
She laughed, giving him a playful swat on the shoulder. “You know what I mean.”
He did, and nodded. “I do. I think it’s time to get back to what you loved.”
“We have Jasmine.”
“We do. But we can get a nanny if you want to go back to college. Women do it all the time.”
“My mother didn’t…”
“You’re not your mother. You’re you. If you want to be a full-time, stay-at-home mom then I’m good with that. If you want to go back to college, I support that as well. I want you to feel fulfilled in all aspects of your life. Marriage and children are supposed to be additions to life, not replacements for what life used to be.”
She nodded and cocked her head to the side, eyeing him curiously. The silence between them was deafening as he attempted to figure out what she was thinking. Finally, she replied, “I want that for you, too.”

She danced, drank and felt more alive then she had in a very long time as they laughed and mingled. As the night wore on, she discovered that Keith Winters wasn’t the only celebrity on board. Some celebrities she met, others she only watched. How Grant scored tickets to the event was beyond her, but she wasn’t going to question a good thing, only be grateful for the experiences.
“So, I was thinking…” Grant ran his finger along her spine until he hit the top of the bodice, sending a shiver of anticipation through her and igniting a pulsing heat between her legs. She bit back a low moan as she closed her eyes and lowered her forehead to his shoulder.
“Thinking, what?” The question came out as a soft whisper as she exhaled.
“That it’s about time to explore other parts of the ship.” His hand which was on her back, lowered to the outside of her thigh and then circled to the back of her leg and up the back of her skirt, stopping a couple inches from her buttocks.
Looking around, no one seemed to notice them. Everyone on the dance floor was enthralled with each other, while periodically sneaking peeks at the numerous celebrities amongst them. With all the high society and “somebodies” in the mix tonight, the two of them might as well have been invisible.
She pressed herself closer to him, her pelvis rubbing up against his groin. His body tensed against her and he groaned softly as she grazed her lips against the side of his neck. Oh yes, maybe getting out of here would be a great idea. Swimming was no longer on her mind, however.
“Would that be a yes?” He pulled back to looked down into her eyes.
“I was thinking the same thing.” She pulled out of his embrace and took his hand as he led her from the dining room. As they exited, a gust of spring ocean wind blew her hair into her face. Pushing the hair back with her free hand, she noticed that guests were already beginning to make their way to the pool.
“Would you prefer to swim?” he sounded disappointed as he asked.
“No. No. Maybe later, once the crowd starts heading to their quarters for the night.”
“Then how about we explore more of the boat?” He didn’t wait for an answer, but began leading her towards the bow.
“There doesn’t seem to be anything going on at that end, honey.” Nikki said, squinting her eyes, wondering what he had up his sleeve.
“There doesn’t have to be to explore.”
She shrugged. “Suppose not.” But couldn’t they have done this in the morning? She was feeling the ache pulsing between her legs and she wanted the need to be quenched.
“It’s so much nicer at night.” He leaned down and nipped at her earlobe, just as another gust of wind blew her hair up and out behind her. A shiver raced through her and she wasn’t exactly sure if it was from the wind or the warmth of his breath on her and the need that was continuing to simmer within her.
“I guess.” She ran her hand along the front of his shirt, close to the top of his belt. “But there’s also other things we could be doing…” As she said the words, they came to the front of the boat. Her attempt at seduction was put on hold as the made their way to the very front to look over.
A smile spread across her lips and she looked out onto the water. Moonlight shone off the crest of the waves, sparkling like little diamonds. Looking up, the sky was clear, the stars fighting with the full moon for dominance in the night sky. The wind was stronger here, blowing at her hair and threatening to lift her skirt over her bare bottom.
Despite the fact it was a warm night, she found her body shivered. The wind was crisp and the water from the ship cutting through the tide periodically splashed a mist up and into her face.
“Amazing view.” Grant’s hard chest pressed up against her back. The warmth of his body made her press back against him, seeking his warmth. As she backed against him, his dick began to thicken and rise. She shivered a second time, but in this instance, it wasn’t because of the cold but the need welling up within her for him.
His hands rubbed the outside of her thighs, slowly making their way up and under her skirt. The juncture between her legs began to throb with need and she shifted from foot to foot attempting to relieve the pressure.
Voices could be heard from the other side of the ship, some drawing closer. “We should go to our room.”
“I don’t think I can wait that long,” he growled, his voice thick with lust as he began a string of kisses along the side of her neck as his hands moved even further up her thighs and began to shift to her inner thighs close to the apex between her legs.
The voices were coming closer, making her heart beat faster.
They’re getting closer. Oh God. We’re going to get caught!
“I really think…” She attempted to remove herself from him, but his hands held her legs tight, not allowing her to move.
“Don’t worry. We’ve been in more questionable circumstances in the past.” He nipped at her earlobe and she groaned softly. Her resolve was beginning to crumble.
It was true, they had, but it had been a while.
His shaft was now fully erect and pressing hard against her back, just as couple layers of thin material separating their bodies. Reaching back, she slipped her hand between them and grasped his cock over the layers of material. He groaned against her ear and nipped a little harder at her lobe then began planting butterfly kisses on her neck to her collarbone.
One of hands slipped between her legs and cupped her mound, the juices that had begun to gather there sliding past his fingers. “You’re so fucking wet, baby. You’re going to feel so good.”
No doubt. He’d been inside of her more times than she could count, but each time felt like the first time and left her trembling like a virgin. She squeezed his dick and fumbled for his belt.
Batting her hand away, he moved away from her just far enough so that he could undo his trousers himself, releasing his member. “Much better.” He kissed her neck again pulling up the back of her skirt and pressing his member against her bottom.
She groaned softly, hoping her moan didn’t carry far in the wind. The voices drew nearer, but she was beginning to no longer care about them as the tension within her continued to grow.
“Hurry, before someone comes!”
Sliding his hand back around to cup her mound, he spread her pussy lips and began running his index finger against her clit. Slowly, with the perfect amount of pressure. The man knew how to push every one of her buttons with expert ease. He continued to stroke her, shifting from rubbing her clit, to dipping two fingers into her ready and willing core.
She bucked against him as he removed his fingers from her, attempting to impale herself onto his shaft. But her efforts were in vain; he made sure he pulled away each time she felt the head of his cock come close to her needy entrance.
“Please. Come on, honey…” she begged, her hands gripping onto the railing of the boat.
But she knew what he was requiring of her. He generally demanded it of her each and every time they made love. He
d either do it with his tongue, or with his fingers, sometimes a combination of them both.
She pressed herself back against him again, reaching behind her head and grasping his neck, lowering his face to hers, her lips claiming his with urgency. The kiss was hard and almost violent as she bucked against his hand on her pussy and her tongue swiped at his lips.
Need… Oh God, the need was so intense
He was taking her higher and higher, so high on her desire that she could hardly breath as she was granted access to his mouth and their tongues began to tango. She was coming closer and closer, ascending the summit of her desire.
“I need you!” she groaned against his lips, just as the world became blank and her vision blurred as her body quivered and she reached the pinnacle of her desire, her pussy clenching around his hand and then releasing with a gush of her juices greeting his probing fingers.
“That’s my girl,” he said, placing a hand between her shoulder blades, pushing back from her and forcing her upper body against the railing, leaving her in a semi-bent over state. Gently, he kicked her legs further apart and pressed the head of his cock at her entrance.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes…. The word raced over and over in her head. This is what she wanted and needed. Despite coming, she was greedy for more. She was greedy for what his long, rock solid cock had to offer.
She pressed back harder against him and this time he didn’t move away. His dick slid deep into her self-lubricated core, to the hilt. Groaning more loudly than she’d intended she let her head fall forward and began to savour the feel of him as he began to move within her, the people who were drawing nearer with each moment were long forgotten.
“Oh yeah. The feel of you…. Amazing,” Grant whispered. She could barely make out what he was saying, the pleasure running through her was clouding her senses. The only thing she could focus on was him. Them. Together.
