Then they’d just hit it off, plus Patty Ann had bought tons of beauty product from Coco.

“I wanted you to meet Finn before the ball,” Coco complained, but she wasn’t really upset, she just had butterflies in her stomach. What she was wearing was so daring, it was making her blush. But instead of crumbling under the pressure, she thrust her braless breasts out with a straightened spine.

“I think you all are going to need alone time when your special agent sees you in that dress, judging by the picture you sent me,” Patty Ann advised.

Coco looked at herself in the mirror. Goodness, could she really be pulling off being so hot and sexy? She swung her hips once, and the long silver strands on the bottom of her short dress floated around her hips.

She had on a Jovani backless dress with a plunging cowl neck of clinging silver filaments and flares of hanging silver strands over a very short and tight black miniskirt. It was the most daring dress she’d ever worn in her life, and if she moved wrong, her breasts might fall out.

But that made the entire outfit even hotter.

“I hope you’re right,” Coco whispered, where Patty Ann couldn’t hear.

She wanted Finn super proud of her, especially tonight, when at first he’d refused to go to the charity ball. She knew he thought the people at the ball might not want him there, because he’d played an undercover lowlife for so long around town. But they hadn’t known about the undercover part back then. Most of them did now, and besides, the ones whose opinions counted thought of Finn as a mega-hero.

Coco hoped tonight that he would see that. And she wanted to be the icing on his cake, so hence dressing the part.

Where Patty Ann could hear, Coco said, “I can’t wait for you to meet everyone, babe.”

They chatted for a few more minutes about earrings, finally deciding Coco should wear her dangling diamond ones, then they said goodbye until later. She thought Patty Ann was going to be late on purpose. Maybe to give Coco and Finn time, or maybe to make a grand entrance. Patty Ann liked to get dressed up with the best of them.

“Babe, I need help with this damn bow tie,” Finn called beyond the closed door.

Coco stopped fussing with her lipstick and she turned that way, checking that her breasts really were still covered by the plunging neckline of her dress. She smoothed down her skirt and looked at her Desperado Dolly stilettos.

  Lord, they were so awesome.

  Deep breath.

  “Coming, baby,” she called.

When Coco saw Finn come out of the closet in a black silk metallic tux with a notched mandarin collar and silver inlaid edging, her breath caught.

  Oh my Lord.

She had never seen a man look hotter in her life.

Instantly she thought she might have climaxed a little.

  It certainly felt like it.

“Damn,” Finn growled, as his gaze swept her from head to toe.

His electric green eyes started to smolder. Then through the arousal roaring in her head, she thought she heard him say the strangest thing.

“They fucking warned me.” But then he said something even stranger, as he started to prowl toward her, after he threw his bow tie onto the bed, and after her nipples peaked in utter excitement.

“But they were wrong. You look like that, that hot body, that hair, those perfect lips, that, I got to know, hot, wet pussy ... and in that fucking take-me-and-make-me-scream-on-my-cock dress, it will take two hours at least.”

“Two?” she whispered in confusion, but then she gasped. “Oh my lord, Deek, you are so hot, so amazingly gorgeous.”

  “Your clit is banging?”

She nodded, then he grabbed her. But she had to admit he was more careful than she thought either of them was feeling. Instead of messing her hair, he cupped the back of her nape, and his other hand planted on the back of her waist, which was bare because the back of her dress was cut that low. Then he pulled her to him, for a kiss that immediately became explosive.

Before she blew away, she grasped the edges of his uber-expensive tux, whose black metallic sheen threw his eyes, dark hair, and darker jaw into thrilling and edgy masculinity. Oh my Lord, she was going to have to hold on to him tight, because women were going to fall at his feet, she thought right before she couldn’t think at all.

Finn didn’t think his cock had ever been so damn hard. From the moment he’d laid eyes on Coco dressed up to eat a man’s heart out, he’d grown two hard inches that he’d never had before. He’d never seen a woman more tempting or hot.

His male brain didn’t know exactly how to describe the dress she had on, except it made him want to tear it off her. Right then was not the time to be all dom on her ass, but he had to get his cock inside her.

  Right then.

The dangling silver bits barely covering her big, firm breasts whipped against his chest as he lifted her aloft. That tight black miniskirt under the dangling silver fringe she wore hiked up perfectly so her long legs could clasp his hips, as he found the wall.

“Get my fucking cock out,” he ordered, maybe a bit savagely.

But his baby didn’t seem to mind as she ate the edges of his mouth, while panting and working to get his cock out as he pressed her back against the wall. With that leverage he was able to get one hand free to get the little bit of lace panties she was wearing out of the way.

Then the head of his cock hit the heat of her slick pussy and he was gone.

One hard thrust upward had her screaming his name, had her head thrown back, and her nails digging deep, while he grunted in extreme pleasure and tried to keep his knees locked. He figured there were moments, and this was one of them, when it was hard for his brain to wrap around the fact that he could be fucking something so amazing, so gorgeous, and so special. He was blown away.

He had sizzle in his arms and her name was Coco, and she was his baby.

And she didn’t even get prissy about him fucking her hard against the wall, when she’d been all dressed up and ready to go. No, his woman was right there with him grinding down, riding him hard, until he pressed his thumb to her clit and made her unravel.

Her climax ground down on him and dragged a fierce ejaculation free from his plunging cock as they rocked against the wall, and he groaned with tight suspension.

He’d never had one feel so good before; it rippled through him from his head to his feet, and then lingered as her climaxing pussy milked him.

“Damn, Coco, you’re so sweet, you’re so fucking hot,” he growled.

“Baby, I love you,” she cried, shuddering and quaking against him, until he was pretty sure she didn’t realize what she’d said at that moment of passion.

But he’d damn well take it and make it a reality one day.

He thought he’d known before, but he hadn’t known. You didn’t fucking know until it happened, and then you knew for sure. You knew with everything in your being when a woman was meant for you.

He kissed her for twenty minutes or more with his cock and his come inside her, while he held her up against that wall, marking her, loving her, and keeping her as his.

Until against his ear, she whispered, “We’re late, baby.”

He smiled, and then told her that he had fibbed about the start time, just so he could do what they’d done together.

“Deek,” she exclaimed. “Next time make it two hours.”

That had them laughing as he set her down and he went about helping her to clean up.

They stood side by side in the master bath and straightened up, until he took her hand and pulled her to the limousine he had waiting outside. That limousine service was something Cabe had set up and wanted them to do. Finn figured Rusty was expanding her business or something, and he hadn’t paid too much attention.

He was just surprised that he was actually looking forward to the fancy party. He thought Coco was teaching him a thing or two, and he couldn’t wait to show her off on his arm, and then get her out on the dance floor.

; “This ball is for such a good cause,” Coco said, looking up at him with sparkling brown eyes. “They’re going to use the money to update the orphanage building. It really needs it.”

Finn liked the idea, especially helping the native population, and he was more than happy to okay it when Coco asked him if she could give a sizable donation. He really like the fact that she’d asked him first.

She was easy with money that way, never lording it over him, and besides being overly girly, she really wasn’t fussy with her money. They didn’t have to have caviar and champagne when beer and pizza would do.

He’d thought it before, and he’d think it again in the next fifty-plus years that he and Coco were going to be together ... but her ex-asshole was an idiot for ever letting Coco get away from him. Though Finn was glad he was stupid, because that made a space for Finn to get in there, and now he was, there was nothing on earth that was ever going to shake him out.

Finn squeezed Coco’s hand, seeing she’d done her nails with silver tips that night, and he shook his head slightly with a smile before he said, “We’ll have to visit there.”

She nodded, swinging her shiny, dark hair and the dangling diamonds in her ears. He really liked the extra length she had on her hair, but he absolutely loved the fact she’d gone back to her original color.

Then they were pulling up to the back of Redrock Casino in front of the grand ballroom entrance, which was lit up and even had a damn black carpet rolled out to where the limos were dropping off. Finn saw Cabe and Carly walking up to the entrance doors, which were being held open by two of the staff members dressed in black tuxedos.

Coco exclaimed, “There’s Tess and Vincent. Oh my Lord, her dress is to die for.”

Before Finn turned his head that direction, he decided Rusty’s dress was to die for and Cabe was looking pretty damn good too. Then he turned to see Vincent and Tess, and he decided they were also looking fantastic.

“Getting dressed up isn’t half bad,” he said.

Coco caught that declaration and swung her gaze toward him with happy expectation on her face.

“I’m so glad you like it, because it’s so much fun,” she said.

He kissed her and agreed, and then it was their turn to get out of their limo and make a grand entrance. He couldn’t remember a time he’d ever felt as proud as when he hooked Coco’s waist and they walked into the first charity ball he’d ever been to.

  Eighteen] Smoking-Hot Men Everywhere

There was so much to take in that Coco didn’t know where to start. The first thing she noticed was that the party definitely had southwestern elements and colors, along with splashes of Native American. She could see right away that it was the most beautifully colored ball she’d ever attended. Of course, she hadn’t been to that many, but they had been mostly black and white.

This one was spectacular with reds, golds, and terra cottas, dotted with black accents. The tables flowing with brightly colored tablecloths around the dancing floor were dressed with elegance, but vivid color. The multilayered chandeliers gave everything a golden glow, and there was a large orchestra set up on a stage above the dance floor.

She was excited to hear they played modern and very danceable music.

Waiters moved around the guests’ tables, and many were filled with Native American guests, as she and Finn made their way to the table they had paid for, which was next to the dance floor. She, Tess, Carly, Rusty, and even Patty Ann had agreed they wanted to buy a top-tier table.

The event was being held for a charity that Tess and Vincent were heavily involved with, and as their friends, they wanted it to be an amazing success.

Coco noticed their table was larger than the others around it were. A size to fit all of them, and she saw that Rusty was already there with Cabe standing behind her. Rusty looked fabulous in a Sherry Hill white cocktail dress with a sweetheart neck, short flared skirt, diamond-studded waistline, and her Jimmy Choo black suede Vamp heels with crystal anklets. Cabe was dressed in a three-piece white satin tux that did amazing things to his hair and complexion. He was very handsome, and together, she thought they looked like a very fashionable bride and groom.

“Coco,” Rusty called, and then they met for a hug, while Cabe and Finn shook hands a few steps behind them. “You look so hot. You are smoking, babe,” Rusty declared.

Coco grinned inwardly, but gave Rusty a sincere smile as she said, “Thank you! You and Cabe look so amazing in this white with your gorgeous hair colors.” Then she added, “And you know I love your heels!”

That caused them to both look down at their amazing heels, turning their ankles to the side so they could admire the expensive stilettos.

“I’m afraid to dance in them,” Rusty said, while their heads were slightly pressed together.

“I know,” Coco agreed. “One mark would ruin their fabulousness.”

Rusty laughed. “Well, we might have to pop these off and dance barefooted.”

Before Coco could answer, she heard Finn, who was behind her and around the other side of the large table, saying, “Yeah, it was a pretty big multi-agency operation.”

He was talking to Cabe behind them, and she might have also heard Zeb’s voice, she thought, as she secretly smiled. Everyone that mentioned the bust was good for Finn’s battered ego. Carly was there, so Coco knew that it had been Zeb she’d heard.

“Sherry Hill too, you fashion slut!” Rusty exclaimed, while Carly laughed, and Coco turned to see Carly’s amazing dress.

It was a little like Rusty’s, only in black with a short flared skirt, but it had a crystal-embroidered sweetheart bodice, and it was so freaking cute.

With Carly’s blond hair, it looked fabulous. While she and Carly hugged hello, Coco snuck a look at Zeb to see what the badass edgy biker, and now small business owner, might be wearing to a small-town charity ball.

“Wow,” she exclaimed in Carly’s ear. “Zeb looks amazing.”

“Doesn’t he,” Rusty agreed, as Carly said, “He does!” Then Rusty added, “These guys are trying to outdo us. Every woman here so far has eyes on them.”

Coco could believe it, looking at their men’s hotness all gathered in a three-sided circle, discussing something. Zeb had on an all-silver metallic sharkskin suit, so that made one in black, one in white, and one in silver.

“Good Lord, they are hot,” Coco said.

Carly hugged her arm, nodding. “Good thing they’re ours,” she said, with a small laugh.

Just then the modern orchestra, which included guitars, started playing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline,” and Coco saw Tess and Vincent coming their way. She thought everyone looked amazing, but those two blew all of them away.

It was juxtaposed between Tess’ red hair and Vincent’s long, gleaming black hair. They were light against dark, and Vincent’s suit looked like liquid ink with Indian trimmings. Tess wore a white crystal-beaded dress and Vincent an embroidered mandarin-collared suit with a diamond-crusted eagle band on a black cowboy hat, along with black cowboy boots.

“Elegant western, that’s to die for,” Coco whispered to Carly and Rusty, who both agreed as they watched Tess separate from Vincent. He went to the man circle and she came to the woman circle.

Everyone hugged lightly in their circle so they wouldn’t mess up their fabulous outfits, while a waiter brought them flutes of champagne.

“It’s a great turnout,” Tess said, looking incredibly happy.

She had a kind of glow that made Coco look twice, and then have slight suspicions. She’d heard they were adopting, but maybe something else was happening too.

All the ladies agreed with Tess, because it looked as if the large ballroom was going to be filled.

  Carly grabbed everyone’s attention.

“I have something to tell all of you,” she declared. Coco looked at Carly’s ring finger and saw her wedding band wasn’t there. Then she saw Carly was holding it up for all of them to see. “Zeb seduced me into eloping. We are marr
ied.”

Carly looked as if she wasn’t sure if they were going to slam her or be happy for her, but all of them made excited exclamations. Rusty practically jumped up and down in her heels, while Tess grabbed Carly for an excited hug, and Coco whooped, which caused Finn’s eyes to turn toward her.

She could tell by his sexy, satisfied smile that Zeb had told the men.

Vincent commanded everyone’s attention as the two circles merged into one.

“A toast to the newly married couple,” Vincent said. “Zeb and Carly, my people say, ‘Now there will be no loneliness for you, because you are two persons, but there is only one life before you.’ Congratulations!”

Coco dabbed at the tears in her eyes, and as soon as she had a chance, she hugged Carly tightly.

“It worked out,” she told Carly, who nodded and glowed with happiness.

Those friends, the men and women of Redrock, were good people who could go fancy or go barefooted and still be good people.

Coco thought she might start bawling, so she broke away from the group, intending to wander toward the entrance so she could watch for Patty Ann’s arrival. When she glanced Finn’s way, she saw that the men had moved off to a bar in the corner, likely to have something besides champagne.

Finn was keeping his body turned so he could keep an eye on Coco. Damn, she was a beautiful woman. He watched Coco as he listened to the guys discussing things ranging from Zeb’s new graphics shop, Sam not making the ball because he was out alone on reservation land seeking his spirit guide, and the invite Cabe had given for an after-party he had planned, as a surprise to Rusty, and the reason for the limos.

Finn thought an after-party sounded good, because he’d like to keep Coco in her dress and heels with him looking for as long as he could, until he couldn’t take it any longer and he had to peel it off her. Only he’d probably leave her in just those damn sexy heels.
