Final Ride (Lords of Mayhem) Page 8

“Don’t think about backing out. You made the deal, and now you gotta live by it. You wanted us to happen.”

  “Yes, but that doesn’t mean—”

He slapped her ass, open palmed, and she squealed, jumping. “It’s going to happen. So be ready for it.” Wrapping an arm around her waist, he pulled her tight to his side. “Now let’s see who decided to come to visit.”

They made their way back up the trail and Hawk frowned. The brothers had swarmed the visitors, and the happy sounds told him it was one of their own. It was unusual for transfers among charters. Sometimes you needed a change of scenery, and though they were the mother chapter here, it was all family.

“Looks like we got some V.I.P.s,” Hawk said.

“I didn’t recognize them, but that doesn’t mean anything,” Magic said shrugging. “I’ve only been here for six months.”

“True. It must be someone we haven’t seen in a long time.”

They approached the group and brothers began to part like the red sea. The trip waiting in the middle of the crowd made his jaw drop. “Son of a bitch.”

“Surprise. Figured it’d be better to just drop by.” His father, Axel, stood beside his mom, Feather, and his brother Rayen. Tiny’s old man had kicked the bucket after a vicious heart attack, and Hawk’s family had opted to switch charters to be closer to the prison where Rayen had been sent after being arrested for assault. He’d damn near killed the man he robbed to feed his habit and ended up getting eight years.

“Well this is a first. He’s got nothing to say,” Feather said.

“Hey.” Rayen shoved his hands in his jeans.

A million emotions blended and boiled up inside him.

“I’m out.” Hawk turned on his heel, taking Ariel with him.

  “Ha—”

“One of the things I like about you most is your ability to know when to say nothing. Don’t disappoint me now,” he said.

Silence fell, and he stalked to his bike, eager for escape as the events of the last time he saw his brother as a free man played in his mind.

He drove back to his house to avoid the public. If someone so much as looked at him wrong right now, he’d unleash hell.

He unlocked the door and headed straight to the kitchen. Grabbing the whiskey bottle on top on the counter, he unscrewed the top and took a long drink. The amber liquid scalded his throat and burned in the pit of his belly helping him mellow.

“A-are you okay?” Ariel asked tentatively. He turned to take her in and saw his escape.

“I don’t want to talk about them.” He set the bottle down on the counter. “I want to finish what we started.”

“I don’t know if now is a good time.” She backed up until her back bumped the wall, and he stalked forward, framing her in with his arms on either side of her body.

“Let me convince you.” He skimmed his fingers across the flesh below her short skirt. “Look me in the eyes, tell me you don’t want it and I’ll back up.” She opened her mouth but remained silent. “Tonight we’re going to do all the things I’ve been wanting to do, starting with spanking that fine ass of yours. All that lip you’ve been giving everyone over the past years deserves a little punishing.”

  “A s-spanking?”

“Oh yeah, girl. One thing I noticed about you is you like to hand over control. A firm hand makes you happy.”

  “I don’t think—”

“Ariel.” He lowered his voice, and she tensed, going quiet. “March that cute little ass of yours over to the couch and get ready for me.”

Lust turned her medium-colored brown eyes amber, and he mentally nodded. He’d been on point. Her body trembled slightly as she walked to the couch. Following behind her, he admired the glimpses of leg she flashed with every step. “Stand right beside the couch.” She paused, hands at her side, and he licked his lips in anticipation. He sank down on the couch and patted his knees. “Come here, little red, let the big bad wolf show you everything you’ve been missing.”

She lay across his lap and he moved her body into place over his left knee, and he restrained her legs with his right. He lifted her dress, exposing her pink-panty-clad ass. The lacy boy shorts made him grunt. It was her in a nutshell, tough, yet delicate and feminine. He massaged the firm globes of her ass.

“Such a nice ass, baby. You ready to get spanked?”

  “Y-yes.”

“Don’t worry. I can just tell you’ll love it.” He let his fingers run down the sensual curve of her rear one last time before he lifted his hand. “I want you to count off for me after every hit. I’m only going to go to five.”

He brought his hand down on her ass. The slap echoed in the silent space and her glutes clenched.

“One,” she whimpered. He continued in a rapid succession. Her cries had him swollen as fuck. He stopped at five, gently soothing her stinging flesh with light rubbing. The heat pouring off her had him leaking pre-come.

“Did you like this?” he rasped.

  “Y-yes.”

“I knew you would. We fit well. I bet you’re wet right now.” He moved his left leg and spread her thighs apart, running his hand over the seams of her panties. “Soaking. I can smell you right now. Damn, I can’t wait to taste that pretty little pussy.” He grabbed the side of her underwear and yanked, snapping the elastic. She gasped, arching against his legs, and he ran a finger down her slippery slit. Her heat burned his fingertips, and he slipped between her folds, teasing her entrance. She rocked back against him.

“You want more, don’t you, babe? You want me to fill that pussy up.”

  “Yes, God, yes.”

The plea made his dick twitch, and he drove a finger inside her. She flexed, clenching his finger with her walls. “Tight, wet, and hot, a man couldn’t ask for more.” He pulled out and plunged back inside, working her over. “I want you to come all over my fingers. We gotta get you ready for me.” He fed off her sounds of pleasure, adding a second finger as he took her higher and stretched her out.

  He slowed his speed.

  “No.”

“No what, babe? I want to hear you say it.” He drove his fingers deep inside her and went still.

  “Faster, please.”

He smiled. “Your wish is my command.” He adjusted his angle, hitting the bundle of nerves he liked to think of as the money shot. She bucked against him, grinding her pussy onto his hands as she cried out, clenching around his fingers as she found release. He kissed the small of her back as she came down.

“Babe, I’d love to take it nice and slow, but I want to be in you too bad for that.”

“It’s been a long time for me.”

He tensed. “How long?” The thought of any other asshole sampling her made him see red.

  “Three years.”

He lifted her up and placed her in his lap where she straddled his legs. “I want you to ride me, babe. You control the pace and angle. I don’t want to hurt you.”

  “You want me on top?”

“You ever been on top before?”

She shook her head. “I’ve never…my experience weren’t…stellar.”

“Don’t worry. We’re about to change all that. I want you to unbutton my pants and take me out.” She rested her palms on his belly and his muscles jumped in response. She slowly unbuttoned his pants and pulled down the zipper. His cock sprung free, and she gasped, grasping his base tight.

“Shit, babe. Be careful, that thing spits.”

She laughed, relaxing. “You’re so big.”

“It’ll fit.” He grinned. “I have a condom in my wallet. Go ahead and pull it out.” He lifted up, and she tugged on his chain, freeing the leather square. He watched with lowered eyelids as she removed the condom, opened the package and slid it down his length. Her nervousness softened his harshness. Normally he wanted inside a bitch until he came, and then she was headed out the door. With Ariel he wanted to take his time.

“You ready to take a ride?” he asked gripping her hips tight.
She guided him in and slowly slid down his cock. Tiny beads of sweat broke out on his forehead as he forced himself to remain still.

“Fuck you are so tight, babe.” His eyes all but rolled into the back of his head as she worked herself down, flexing as her pussy strained to take him. Fully seated she moaned and gripped his shoulders tightly. Her muscles relaxed, and they began to move together. Sparks flew, and mini bombs detonated inside his body. The electricity between them was unlike anything he’d ever experienced before. She wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him in deeper and he lost his cool. Pounding into her, he drank down every scream, as his balls drew up tight to her body and her walls began to pulse.

She broke their kiss, threw her head back and cried his name as she came, milking him as her pussy took him down for the count.

  Chapter Seven

Boneless and completely sated, Hilary inhaled the dark scent of Hawk as she lay pressed to his side. Nothing with him was ever how she expected it to be.

“I guess by now you’re wondering what that was,” he said. She held her tongue, proceeding with caution. Hawk wasn’t exactly the share feelings type. “I had no clue he’d be getting out early. I understand why they did it this way. But I don’t appreciate it just the same.”

“You’re not happy he’s out?” she said.

“I’m happy he’s free. He had problems, but he didn’t deserve to be caged like a wild animal. When he’s clean, he’s a decent enough guy.” Hawk shook his head, and trailed his fingers down her back. “I figure you should know the shit pond you’re about to wade into. Neither of my parents is the type to back off, and if they’re here it must be on a permanent basis, to deal with his P.O.”

She listened attentively. Hawk wasn’t much for deep conversation, and her role didn’t allow for much question asking.

“Are you two still on the outs?” she asked.

“I don’t know what we are. The night he held up the gas station, I ignored his call. To say that it caused tension in my family would be a gross understatement.”

His command of the English language always made her melt just a little. Education wasn’t something you expected from as biker, especially one as virile as Hawk.

“You haven’t talked the whole time?” she said.

“No, I mean what’s there to say? At first, it was giving him his space while he got clean, and then it was a habit to just continue. I get updates from Mom and Dad. They shuffle back hellos and progress reports, but the relationship between us was severed long before he landed in jail.”

“Because of his addiction?” she said studying the emotions rolling across his face like storm clouds.

“Among other things, mostly his habit of blaming all his problems on everyone else, mainly me. My parents drilled in our heads family looks out for one another, and as his older brother, I should step up. It’s not healthy. No person can police another. I’m not nor will I ever be his parent.” Hawk shook his head. “Our lifestyle is hard. If you don’t have enough common sense to keep your shit together, your neck is constantly going to be on the chopping block. It sounds harsh, but that’s how I keep my head right. I have a heavy load of responsibility and I take that shit seriously. My brothers depend on me. I have to be ready to pick up the banner if anything happens to Tiny. I don’t have time for shit else. Once the pres had the heart attack, my dad opted to step down and pass the title on to me. Let the new generation take up the cause he said. It shifted my priorities. He got that.”

A buzz sounded from his phone.

“Time to head back to the real world,” Hawk said. He released her and rolled over, digging in the pile of clothing they had left beside the couch to find his phone and answer it. “Yeah, Mom, I know. No I’m not running I walked away so I could avoid exploding and making a shitty situation worse. Yeah, I know that’s why you didn’t tell me you were coming. Who was I with? Tiny didn’t tell you?” Hawk glanced at her. “A house mouse I acquired. Yeah, no, don’t read too much into it.”

The words stung. She knew it was a role, but the attraction between them was very real. I can’t get lost in this character I’m pretending to be. I won’t like the way it ends. “Yeah, we’ll come by the clubhouse in a few.” He hung up and sat up, swinging his legs to the side of the couch. “For whatever reason, Tiny wants to keep your status on the down low, so you’ll have to watch yourself around my parents and Rayen now.” He slid his boxers up his legs and pulled them on. “I imagine you want some time to get cleaned up?”

  “Yes, please.”

“Go ahead. I’ll wait, but don’t take forever.”

“I got you.” She ignored the urge to cover her body as she sat up and moved from the couch, headed into her room for a quick shower. As she turned on the shower she stomped out the shame creeping into her psyche. We’re both adults, fully aware of our situations, and the man was the best sex I’ve had ever. The time for coyness and belief in the happily-ever-after fairytale was long gone. Boy meets girl, falls in love, and remains faithful for the rest of his life didn’t always happen. Better to have fun now, with your eyes wide open and your heart out of the equation. Comforted, she stepped beneath the spray, and prepared to put on the performance of her life.

Dressed in a pair of tiny black shorts, black cowboy boots and a white tank top, she walked into the club beside Hawk, faking the confidence she didn’t feel. Classic rock blared over the speakers, People were gathered in large clusters talking, and the beer and liquor flowed. She scanned the area and found a table of food set up. Evonne, Joey, and Juliette stood across the room, talking. Hilary tugged on Hawk’s cut and he glanced down.

“Can I go over there with the girls?” she said.

He narrowed his eyes. “Might be the best place for you right now, actually. Remember, no wandering off your own.”

“I won’t.” She broke away from his side and weaved her way through the crowd.

“Look what the cat dragged in!” Joey said.

Hilary rolled her eyes and exchanged hugs with the girls. “I know, it’s been insane.”

“You look pretty relaxed for someone who’s been under a lot of stress,” Joey said.

“Hawk’s good to me. I lucked out,” Ariel said doing her best not to squirm under her friends’ scrutiny. They always smelled lies a mile away.

“How…good has he been?” Evonne said.

“What do you mean?” Hilary said carefully schooling her face to feign innocence.

“Oh, she’s playing dumb now; that says it all,” Juliette teased.

“Why? Because I’m telling you he’s not an asshole?” Ariel said.

“No, because you’re using the avoidance technique you usually call us on,” Evonne said.

“Oh yeah, she had her a piece of Hawk. Tell us, is he as good as he looks like he’d be?” Joey asked.

Ariel smirked. “Better. Easily the best I’ve ever had.”

“Slut. I always knew Ariel wasn’t that innocent,” Juliette said.

  “Juliette!” Ariel said laughing.

  They all laughed.

“Okay, getting sexed up aside, how are you?” Juliette said.

“I’m better than I thought I would be. There’s something to letting go of everything that makes you unhappy and just living your life. I always thought it was bullshit. Some creed they spoke to justify the way disorganized people operated. I see it from a different angle these days.”

The girls nodded their agreement. “It’s insane how clear things get when you simplify,” Evonne said.

“In my case shit got a lot more complicated. Still, I’m happy, and unless I’m mistaken, I think my mom is too,” Joey said.

“Wait. Are your mom and dad re-hooking up?” Ariel said.

“She says no, he gives me the glare of death which means drop it, so I’m thinking, yes.” Joey laughed.

“Wow. How do you feel about that?” Juliette said.

“Honestly, it’s about time. It’s obvious they never got over one
another. Who am I to deny them happiness?” Joey shrugged.

“How are you and the little one doing?” Ariel asked Joey.

“Good, most of the time. Morning sickness is really any time, any place sickness though.” Joey grimaced. “I’m also craving things I know I hate. Garlic.” Joey wrinkled her nose.

“How’s Daddy seem to be taking it?” Ariel said. Moose had a way of being terrifying when he wasn’t joking.

“Like a champ. Late night craving trips and all,” Joey said. The silly grin on Joey’s face made Ariel smile. Joey was thriving. All her friends were. Despite the shit they’d been dragged through, good things prevailed.

“When we made that deal at Cork to start living our lives and take risks, none of us bargained for even a fraction of what’s happened,” Ariel said.

  “Understatement,” Evonne said.

“How much longer until you find out what you’re having, Joey?”

“Another month and half. I’m so ready,” Joey rubbed her still-flat belly and beamed.

“Do you want a boy or a girl?” Juliette said.

“Either as long as they’re healthy. I figure either way they’re guaranteed to be awesome, ’cause you know, like mother, like children,” Joey said in a sing-song voice that set them all off into peals of laughter. “Hey, I’m serious you guys,” Joey said.

Ariel laughed harder and placed a hand on the muscles protesting in her belly.

“We love you, Joey,” Juliette said.

  “Don’t patronize me,” Joey scoffed.

“Don’t get her riled up. She’ll sic Moose on us,” Evonne mumbled.

“Yes, and trust me, you don’t want to be on the receiving end of that ass chewing,” Juliette said.

“Did I miss something?” Hil said.

“Oh yeah, Pregnancy Polly over here had a crying jag. Moose walked in, thought we caused it, and let us know exactly what he thought about it,” Juliette said.

“Hey, I told him you guys didn’t cause it,” Joey mumbled.

“Yeah, we know to proceed with caution, Pregzilla,” Evonne said.

“Yeah, he’s a little overprotective right now,” Joey said.
