I placed my palm against her heart and waited for it to stutter out its last beat. Then, I released her soul…her beautiful, rose-gold soul. “I will find you,” I promised.

  AUTHOR’S NOTE

I want to take a moment and thank everyone who downloaded a copy of this book. I truly do appreciate the opportunity to tell you a story, and I hope that you have enjoyed it.

Izzy’s and Asher’s story is far from over. I am currently hard at work on the next book in The Immortal Sorrows series,

  Wings of Shadow.

If you enjoyed this book, please recommend it to friends and family members.

If I made you laugh, made you cry, or made you want to throw your E-reader against the wall, then I want to hear from you! Please take a moment and leave a review. Reviews are the life-blood of indie authors like me.

  ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Special thanks goes to Heather Denton Thomas, and Kim Bachelor Wingler. The two of you have made writing this book so much fun. Your help and suggestions have meant the world to me, and this book is better because of you. Thank you both, so very much. You are awesome!

Last, but never least, I want to thank my husband, Steve Wingler. You gave me noise-cancelling headphones so I could hear myself think. That makes you the best husband ever.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sherri Wingler is the author of Wings of Darkness, Book 1 of The Immortal Sorrows Series.

She lives and works in Indiana.

Sherri shares her home with her husband Steve, way too many rescued kitty cats, two geriatric dogs, and one co-dependent Shih-Tzu, named Spanky. (Without Spanky’s help, this book would have been finished much sooner!)

When she isn’t writing, or working in the real world, her spare time is spent raising money for her local Humane Society, in the hopes that she can save at least a few little critters.
