Best Lesbian Romance of the Year Page 19

by Radclyffe

MERINA CANYON began writing stories when she was six years old and much later earned an MFA in fiction. She delights in roaming through red rock deserts and sleeping under the dark night sky. She is at work on a series of Flash Truth, a romance novel and a book of spiritual amazements. Her stories have appeared in Best Lesbian Love Stories, Best Lesbian Romance, Sinister Wisdom, Cactus Heart, Pilgrimage Press and Fraglit.com.

TAMSIN FLOWERS writes lighthearted erotica, often with a twist in the tail and a sense of fun. Her stories have appeared in numerous anthologies and usually she’s working on at least ten stories at once.

SACCHI GREEN (sacchi-green.blogspot.com) has published stories in a hip-high stack of books with erotically inspirational covers, and she’s also edited ten erotica anthologies, including Girl Crazy; Lesbian Cowboys and Wild Girls, Wild Nights (both Lambda Literary Award winners); Lesbian Cops and Girl Fever.

DENA HANKINS (denahankins.net) writes aboard her boat, wherever she has sailed it. After eight years as a sex educator, she started telling tales with far-flung settings—India, North Carolina, deep space—and continued with a queer/trans romance novel, Blue Water Dreams, about magnetism and self-sufficiency.

AXA LEE is an erotica-writing Michigan farm girl who grazes cattle in her yard and herds incorrigible poultry with a cowardly dog. She’s written since her grandmother had to spell the words for her. Other work appears in two Go Deeper Press anthologies, Shameless Behavior and Dirty Little Numbers.

  D. JACKSON LEIGH grew up barefoot and happy, swimming in farm ponds and riding rude ponies in rural Georgia. Her passion for writing led her to a career in journalism and North Carolina, where she edits breaking news at night and writes lesbian romance stories by day.

LT MASTERS lives in the Midwest, where she indulges in the mysteries of life, nature and her passion for photography.

KARA A. MCLEOD is a badass by day and a smartass by night. Or maybe it’s the other way around. A Jersey girl at heart, “Mac” is an intrepid wanderer who goes wherever the wind takes her.

JL MERROW (jlmerrow.com) is that rare beast, an English person who refuses to drink tea. She writes across genres, with a preference for contemporary gay romance, and is frequently accused of humor. Her novella Muscling Through was shortlisted for a 2013 EPIC ebook Award.

DESTINY MOON is the author of two novels, Amply Rewarded and All I Ever Wanted, published by Totally Bound. Her stories can also be found in The Mammoth Book of Quick and Dirty Erotica and The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica 13.

GISELLE RENARDE (donutsdesires.blogspot.com) is a queer Canadian, award-winning erotica writer, contributor to more than 100 short story anthologies and author of juicy books like Anonymous, Nanny State, Kinksters and My Mistress’ Thighs. Giselle loves a geeky girl and lives with two bilingual cats.

TERESA NOELLE ROBERTS writes for romantic perverts of all sexual preferences. Her short fiction has appeared in Best Bondage Erotica 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014; Best Lesbian Erotica 2014; Twisted: Bondage with an Edge; The Big Book of Bondage and other blush-inducing titles.

L.C. SPOERING (lcspoering.com) lives and writes in Denver, Colorado. Her work has appeared in anthologies with Cleis Press, Lady Lit and Seal Press, as well as The Dying Goose literary magazine, and her first book, After Life Lessons, co-authored with Laila Blake, was released in 2014.

NELL STARK is the author of the Lambda Literary romance finalist The Princess Affair and other works. She chairs the English, Philosophy and Religious Studies department at SUNY Rockland Community College. She and her wife live, write and parent their child just a stone’s throw away from the Stonewall Inn in New York City.

REBEKAH WEATHERSPOON was raised in southern New Hampshire and now lives in Southern California with an individual who is much more tech savvy than she ever will be. Her novels include the Lambda Literary finalist At Her Feet as well as Better Off Red and Blacker than Blue, all published by Bold Strokes Books.
