Milk & Cookies: A Sexy Bad Boy Holiday Novel (The Parker's 12 Days of Christmas Book 10) Page 4

by Zoe Reid

I made my way downstairs, dressed for a workout. I checked the kitchen to see if Leah happened to be in there, but it was empty. I knew Blake was still in bed. It was early. I walked into the foyer and found a note propped up on a table that held a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers.

Leah wasn't here. She’d written us a note to let us know she would see us tonight for dinner. I was a little bummed but figured it was probably for the best. I was only asking for trouble by messing with her. Blake would never forgive me if he knew what we had done. It was a line I shouldn't have crossed, but no matter how guilty I felt, I couldn't regret what I had done.

It was early evening when Leah returned. She had what smelled like lasagna and freshly baked bread.

  “That smells good,” Blake commented.

Leah smiled as she walked into the kitchen where we were both sitting at the bar, eating some chips.

“I knew I wouldn't have time to cook dinner tonight, so I picked something up from Anthony's. Marissa is coming over. Do you remember her Blake?”

I watched as Blake's face turned red. “Yeah, I do.” He swallowed the last guzzle of Diet Coke from his can before turning to me. “We better go get changed for dinner.”

I looked at him like he was a little crazy but followed him out of the kitchen. I turned back to see Leah watching me with heat in her eyes. I stared back, letting her know I was going to fuck her again the first chance I got. The reward was worth the risk of getting caught.

“What's up?” I asked Blake as we climbed the stairs.

“Nothing. But around here, when she brings home a fancy dinner, it means we can't show up wearing sweats. Put on something decent,” he grumbled.

I laughed. “I'm not that unrefined. I can dress myself. If it's black tie, I'm out, but I can handle jeans and a nice shirt. That'll be fine, right?” I asked, suddenly realizing it may not be fine. What if I was expected to dress up?

“That's fine. A button-up but you can skip the tie.”

“Thank god,” I mumbled before opening the door to my room.

We both changed and headed back downstairs. Leah had changed as well. She was wearing a very sexy black dress. My erection stirred, and I instantly regretted tucking in my shirt. I was going to need the camouflage.

The doorbell rang, and Blake practically jumped three feet in the air. I gave him a look, questioning him. He shrugged it off.

Leah came back into the kitchen with a petite auburn-haired woman trailing behind her. The woman looked to be about our age. She was very pretty but not as pretty as Leah.

“This is Marissa. Marissa, you remember Blake, and this is his friend, Chase,” she said, making the introductions without making eye contact with me. “They’re here for the break.”

“Hi,” she said, a big smile on her face, giving me the once-over before quickly looking at Blake and then averting her eyes.

I could see she was a bit of a flirt. She knew she was attractive and was clearly very confident.

“Hi,” Blake and I said in unison.

I could tell there was something off with Blake. Blake and Marissa both looked very uncomfortable.

“You guys go ahead and have a seat while Marissa and I set the table,” Leah ordered.

Blake mumbled something and led me to the dining room.

“What's up, man?” I asked, taking in the sight of the long table that had to sit at least twenty people.

  “Nothing.”

“Dude, do you not like that girl or what?”

“We, uh, hooked up over the summer while I was home, and then she dumped me. Said she was too old for me. She's twenty-seven. I don't see what the problem is,” he said with a big sigh.

I bit back a laugh. Leah was older than twenty-seven. I wasn't sure how old, but she was probably about ten years older than me. I wondered if it bothered her. Or maybe that's what turned her on.

“Do you still like her?” I asked.

“Yeah, I do, but she won't return my calls or texts. I didn't think I would see her when I was home. Now that I have, I want her.”

“Go for it, then. Convince her the age difference doesn't matter.”

At first, it looked like he was going to pout, but then I saw the moment he found his courage. “I will.”

“All right, let's go back in there. I'll ask Leah to help me find a game or something, and you talk to Marissa,” I said, eager to help my friend and to get Leah alone.

We headed into the kitchen together, and I casually asked Leah to help me for a minute. She looked a little surprised by my boldness but quickly agreed to go with me.

Neither one of us said a word as we crossed the foyer and headed down the hall to the game room. The tension crackled between us. Both of us knew what would happen if we went into that room alone. She had no idea what I was doing, but she followed me anyway, which was very satisfying.

I opened the door and gestured for her to go in first. She paused for a brief second, looking me straight in the eyes before stepping inside. I followed her in, shut the door, and locked it. There was a minimal amount of light coming from the various gaming systems and the surround sound system. It created a bit of an eerie glow in the room.

I turned to face her, to explain, but I didn't get the chance. Her lips pressed into mine. The heeled boots she was wearing brought her face almost to the same level as mine. My arms wrapped around her, yanking her to me as I walked backward, pushing her body against the wall. I ground my hips into hers, letting her feel my erection and how much I burned for her.

I heard a soft moan from her, and it spurred me on. My hands moved up to rub her breasts, wanting to rip the dress off, but knowing Blake was not far away reined in my lust.

“Chase,” she whispered into my mouth.

  “Hmm?” I swallowed the word.

“I'm not wearing any panties. We could. Just real fast,” she panted.

“Fuuuck,” I groaned, beyond tempted to take her up on the offer.

She reached down and cupped me through my jeans. I wanted to push into her, feel her sweet pussy covering my dick.

“We can't. Blake,” I said the one word I knew would cool her fervor as well as my own.

  “Dammit,” she cursed, surprising me.

She had always been the perfect lady. Her slip told me everything I needed to know. She wanted me as much as I wanted her. It wasn't a one-time thing.

  Praise the lord.

I figured I could give her a little satisfaction. I ran my hand down her leg, found the hem of her dress, and slid my hand up. I needed to know for myself she wasn't wearing any panties. My mouth moved over hers, my tongue plunging deep into her throat.

  She wasn't lying.

  Chapter 8

  Leah

My body knew his. I felt every nerve awaken, and a sweet tingling sensation vibrated through me as his hands caressed my body. I could feel his erection pushing against me. I rotated my hips to rub my pussy against it. The revelation I had no panties on had unleashed a wild man. The way he lifted me as if I weighed nothing at all was a huge turn-on. I was his to do with as he pleased. He lifted me up, my body pressed against the wall, and my legs were around his waist once again.

“Chase,” I whispered, thinking I heard a noise but not sure.

His fingers were deep inside me, bringing me close to climax. His mouth moved to my neck while his other big strong hand held the back of my neck.

“We can't,” I moaned, loving the feel of his body pushed against mine and needing more, but knowing I couldn't.

  “I know, baby, I know.”

He stepped away, his hands on my shoulders as he supported my body as well as his own. We stood there in the soft glow of light, panting. I silently counted to ten, hoping to cool my raging need to fuck him mindless.

“We should get back in there,” he said in a husky voice.

  “Yeah, probably.”

I smoothed my dress down, did what I could to smooth my hair and hide any evidence of what had just
happened. I watched as he adjusted himself before smoothing his own hair back into place.

He opened the door, flooding the room with light and giving me the chance to see him clearly.

“Oops,” I said, reaching out to run my thumb over his lips.

  “What?” he asked.

I giggled. “My lipstick doesn't look as good on you as it does on me.”

He grinned. “I bet it does.”

He licked his lips and used his hand to wipe his lips and then his face. “All good?”

I looked at his face and then his neck. “All good. A little lipstick on your collar but I don't think anyone's going to notice.”

“This is crazy, huh?” he asked as we stood there in the hallway.

I chuckled. “I guess you could say that. But I like it,” I added.

He stepped close to me. “So do I. I want you, again.”

“Come to my room later?” I boldly said, a little shocked to be saying it but very excited at the prospect of getting him alone in my room to do as I pleased with his body.

He looked unsure. “How about the gym after Blake crashes?”

“Okay, probably better,” I said, a little bummed I wouldn't get the chance to be with him in my bed. My room offered privacy the gym couldn't, but I could understand why he didn't want to use my room. I wasn't going to push the man. I wanted him so badly, I would agree to sex in the front yard if he was willing.

He looked down the hall both ways before giving me a quick kiss. “I'll be back there in a minute. I need to take care of something first.”

I grinned and reached down to rub his straining dick through his pants. “Yeah, you better. You may scare them if you walk in there like this.”

  He groaned. “Tonight.”

“Yes,” I said before turning and walking back toward the kitchen.

I was excited to get him naked again. I wanted him in so many different ways. I knew he was a skilled lover, and he would make my body sing. The kitchen was empty when I returned.

  Odd.

I hoped Blake and Marissa hadn't come looking for us. That would be tough to explain. I heard a noise coming from the dining room and realized they had gotten tired of waiting for us and already sat down to eat. I took a deep breath, pasted on my everything is fine face, and headed in before stopping dead in my tracks.

It wasn't dinner they were enjoying.

I stepped back and to the side to keep them from seeing me.

  What the hell?

Marissa was sitting on the kitchen table with Blake standing between her legs. They were making out like Chase and I had been doing. I stood there, hiding behind the wall, trying to process what I had just seen.

Had Blake and Chase planned this? Chase never did say why he needed me in the game room. I had assumed it was for a quickie, but he wouldn't be that brazen. He had kept me busy so Blake could be alone with Marissa. The way they were all over each other, it didn't look like they were strangers. How long had it been going on?

I was suddenly irritated. I remembered Blake had stayed with me almost all summer. I had assumed it was because he liked the house and didn't want to change his habits because his dad was gone. I had been thrilled to have him, but I now realized I may have been used. Had he and Marissa been sleeping together all summer?

I clapped my hand over my mouth, remembering an incident in the hot tub. It had never occurred to me my best friend was sleeping with my stepson. I wasn't sure I was okay with that.

I tiptoed back into the kitchen, not wanting them to know I saw them. I wasn't ready for that conversation. I knew I had no room to talk or pass judgment after what I’d been doing with Chase, but I did want to talk with Marissa about it. I had to look out for Blake.

Chase came back to the kitchen, and my eyes immediately dropped to his crotch.

“Don't,” he growled. “I just got things tucked away.”

  I snickered. “Sorry.”

  “Where's Blake?” he asked.

I looked at him. “In the dining room. With Marissa.”

He nodded but didn't give away whether he expected that or not.

“We should probably wait a minute before we go in there,” I said, watching his face closely to see his reaction.

  He revealed nothing.

“Okay, do we need to take anything in or do they have it already?” he asked.

I pointedly looked at the counter where the lasagna sat.

  “Oh.”

I stared at him, lifted my eyebrows, and then looked back at the lasagna.

He smiled. “Ohhhh, gotcha. We'll hang here a minute.”

  I nodded. “Uh-huh.”

I saw him fight back the look of pride, and I knew he had been in on it. I couldn't be mad. I had been desperate for a minute alone with him and gone willingly. I would worry about the Blake and Marissa thing later.

A thought popped into my head—my kitchen table!

“Make noise!” I blurted out, grabbing a few dishes and clattering them.

He laughed but seemed to know what I was doing. I took a deep breath, grabbed the lasagna, and prepared to enter the dining room again as if my best friend hadn't had her ass sitting on it a moment ago.

When we walked in, Marissa was sitting in a chair on one side of the table with Blake on the other. They both looked very tousled. Blake looked at Chase and nodded, essentially giving each other a mental high five. I had to fight back an eye roll. I looked at Marissa who refused to meet my eyes. She had guilt written all over her face. I was definitely going to have to talk to her, but for now, I just wanted to enjoy dinner.

“Everybody hungry?” I asked in my best hostess voice.

The looks I got said everyone was most definitely hungry, but it wasn't for the lasagna I was serving.

“How about some wine?” I said, needing something to take the edge off my desire.

“I'll grab a couple beers,” Blake said, standing and practically running to the kitchen.

With our drinks poured and our plates filled, we all sat down to enjoy a perfectly awkward dinner together. We talked little, all of us clearly occupied with other matters. Once dinner was over, we headed into the den to drink a little more before Marissa said her goodbyes.

I felt bad, but I was so happy she was leaving. Now I could excuse myself to my room. I was aching with need and didn't think I could wait much longer.

“Good night, guys,” I said, turning to wink at Chase who gave me a saucy grin in return.

  Chapter 9

  Chase

I felt terrible. I knew Leah probably thought I stood her up, but I couldn't get away from Blake. The guy was going on and on about Marissa forever. As soon as Leah had gone to bed, he perked up and started talking. Now, it was almost four in the morning, and my window of opportunity with Leah was long gone. Regardless, I knew I had to check.

Blake had talked forever. He couldn't stop talking about Marissa. I was happy for him, but damn, I had my own lady waiting for me. I couldn't very well say I needed to go or up and leave the guy when he was pouring his heart out. Every time I made a move to leave, he started yammering on about how beautiful she was and how he didn't care about the age difference. I knew exactly how he felt, but I couldn't exactly tell him that.

Instead, I had sat there listening like a good friend. Not the kind of friend who bangs a guy's mom. Stepmom. When I finally managed to convince Blake to go to bed, I was convinced Leah would never speak to me again.

I pretended to go to bed, making sure Blake didn't know I had plans to search out Leah. I waited in my room for about five minutes before making my escape. I headed toward the gym, knowing she had probably gone to bed hours ago, but I had to check.

I pushed open the door, and my heart skipped a beat. She was curled up on a mat against the back wall. She was wearing another one of those tight little get-ups. I could tell she was asleep. I didn't want Blake to find her here or for her to wake up in the gym. It couldn't be all that comfortable. I locked the gym d
oor. I don't know why. The woman was asleep. I should be asleep. It was nearly time to get up and start a new day, but there I was, slowly walking toward the woman who had consumed all of my attention over the past couple of days.

I dropped to my knees next to her. “Hey,” I said softly.

Her eyes popped open, and she jerked backward, clearly startled and a little confused.
