Eboni stepped forward, allowing her guests to see her for the first time. The murmuring heighted Eboni’s own excitement as she looked across the garden.
“Aunty Aaliyah, Eboni’s here. She’s beautiful.” She heard Kenya say. “She looks like a princess.”
Eboni smiled at Kenya and then at her sister. Her eyes stung with tears. For the past six months she’d enjoyed getting to know her sister. Many years had passed, but they realized that the missing years were not all that important. But now was important because they’d found each other.
Eboni wore a wedding gown of the palest blue. She’d insisted that she was not wearing white, but had compromised by wearing a veil of white silk trimmed with tiny blue daisies.
Eboni watched as Kenya put on her most serious face and stepped into the aisle.
Aaliyah indicated it was time, and Kenya walked slowly as she had practiced, tossing white poinsettias onto the ground in front of the couple.
Aaliyah, maid of honor, walked behind her holding Eboni’s ten-foot train, but making sure she kept an eye on Kenya.
In the midst of the music, Eboni heard, “Hi, Grandma and Granddad,” and Eboni knew that Kenya had reached the pastor and Darren who stood beside him. Everyone laughed, but no one cared about protocol. Everyone, including the firefighters from her firehouse, lined the makeshift aisle, loved Kenya.
She was happy.
Eboni remembered, as if it were yesterday, the stories her mother had loved to read.
Today, she had found her happily-ever-after!

Later that night, Eboni watched her husband step out of his boxers and walk toward her.
When he stood before her, she spread her legs seductively, knowing he’d stand between them.
He slipped between her legs and teased her, his shaft making her wet with intense arousal.
He entered her slowly, letting her feel every inch of his hardness. She groaned with pleasure.
Once he was completely inside her, he stopped.
“How do you want it, Mrs. Grayson?” he asked quietly. “You want to take a leisurely walk or you want us to ride wild with the wind?”
She reached up, sliding her arms around his neck, and whispered her answer in his ear.
He laughed and set out to pleasure her in a way no man, but he, could.
