Three's Never a Crowd [The Corsakis Hotel 1] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 8

This gentle fuck was an apology. Not that she minded when Harden got a little rough...still, it was always nice to experience his “Sorry.”

His hips carefully fucked his shaft into her, letting Evan’s mouth work them both with gentle touches of his tongue and lips. It was a dreamy morning loving, the sun had risen, and the warmth of the day had settled into the room. The heat made the tang of their bodies all that more potent and the stench of sex, hours of it, filled her nostrils. Hell, they’d been at it like rabbits—so much so, she’d taken to rinsing off the sheets in the bath before handing them over to the cleaners!

She let her eyes slip to a close as Evan’s mouth returned to her clit, and he tenderly sucked down on the nub. A gasp escaped her, but it was a dreamy one, one filled with pleasure but no haste. She was enjoying this too much to rush.

Harden must have agreed, because he continued to fuck her, but with more patience than she was used to.

It was a long, lazy climax that hit her, exploding through her cunt with a power that made her gasp, and clench down on Harden’s cock, triggering his own orgasm. She groaned when she felt Evan there, slurping at the cream and cum mixture escaping from her body. It didn’t shock her when she was suddenly pulled from Harden’s clasp, rolled onto her back, and Evan was right there, between her thighs. His cock powered into her, completely unlike the way Harden had just made love to her.

He fucked her, hard, deep and fast. His mouth connected with hers and she could taste herself and Harden, and she reveled in it. In the dirtiness, in the sloppiness. As the guys always commented, she might look like angel, but she certainly wasn’t one.

She reveled in this, in the sluttiness of her nature that these two men allowed her to embrace. Strange how she could be herself in the bedroom, never feeling any shame no matter what they did to each other, and yet at times, it was incredibly difficult voicing her opinions. Speaking out.

She needed to be a slut in the bedroom, and a vocal one in the rest of the goddamn house. But that was for another time. Bella returned her focus to the here and now and started to suck at Evan’s tongue, fucking his lips as he fucked her cunt. The pair of them hoarsely yelled into each other’s mouths as they dragged each other, kicking and screaming to a climax that detonated Bella’s reserves. A sob escaped her and merged with her yell of pleasure.

Her panting breaths as she rolled down from the high ricocheted around the room, and only as she settled down, did she hear the calming, soothing, noiseless noises Harden made in his throat as he stroked her hair.

Comforted, she curled into him, felt Evan curl into her back, and the three of them slept.

  * * * *

She was the first to awaken an hour or so later. The heat of the room had increased even though the air conditioning was working at full belt. The sun poured in through the slat of the blinds, adding shadows to the hot space. They’d pulled apart in sleep, their bodies too hot for each other’s comfort. It was easy, therefore, to maneuver off the bed. Although, she nearly fell over the mad tangle of clothes that were on the floor.

Last night’s fucking had been prompted by a teasing meal in one of the award-winning restaurants downstairs in the hotel. She’d tempted fire by sitting like normal, but underneath the table, her feet had been busy.

Grinning at the thought, she made her way out of the bedroom and into the lounge. Rather than wake the boys, she headed to one of the other bathrooms and slid into the shower. Covered in spunk and her own juices, it was a relief to wash off, to have the hot water slip over her body, caressing her sensitized skin.

Scrubbing herself down, she left the shower in a thick towel, and covered up in one of the hotel’s robes. Tucking herself inside it, she retreated to the salon, picked up the hotel’s land-line, and ordered breakfast. Preferring to leave the air-conditioned comfort of the suite, she stepped outside once her sunglasses were firmly perched on her nose, and took a seat on the terrace.

They hadn’t seen as much of the island as she’d have liked, but she wasn’t about to complain. These last two weeks had been bliss, a time to reconnect as she’d always hoped this vacation would be. In a way, they were all far closer than they’d ever been before. Evan was slowly coming to terms with his attraction for Harden, and Harden had started to look at them both with that predatory, dominant cast to his face...a look that said they were his.

She trembled whenever she saw him stare at her that way, and yesterday, when Evan had first seen it, he’d been startled, but not repulsed.

As the eldest of them all, even if it was only by a few months, Harden seemed naturally suited to be the head of the household. He always had been, really, but now, she felt a shift in their dynamics, and wondered how it would pan out when they returned home.

She both longed for the time when she would be among her own things, but the blissful heat of the summer here would definitely be something she mourned when they got back to Seattle. The island was beautiful, more beautiful than she had ever imagined, and she knew she’d make the guys come here next year. If only to do some actual sightseeing!

The door buzzed and with a sigh, a wistful glance at the sun and the hot ball of light burning down onto the glistening waters, she went to answer the door. Expecting breakfast, she was about to use the only Greek word she’d learned while here, efkharisto, or thank you, when a team of people forced their way into the room.

Spotting Evie, Evan’s PA, she stopped herself from screaming her panic in the nick of time. “What the hell are you doing here? I thought you were coming to rob the place!”

Evie sighed. “I tried to stop them, but you know what it’s like. When Magdela Toulouse demands we jump, the company asks how high.”

Bella blinked. “Do you mean to tell me that you’ve crossed the Atlantic Ocean to come and meet with Evan in person? Why the hell didn’t you just call?”

Evie blushed. “He hasn’t been answering his cell. And the messages I left at the hotel went unanswered.”

“Wasn’t that a clue that he wanted to be left alone? We’re on vacation, for Christ’s sake!”

“I know, I tried to explain. I swear I did. But it’s Magdela Toulouse!” Evie whispered the name with an awe that could have been right at home with Jesus’ name.

“She isn’t the second coming, Evie.”

“No, but she’s powerful enough to move mountains.” The PA nodded stoutly. “She’s booked in down the hall. She’s demanding to see Evan immediately.”

“So who the hell are all these people?” Bella asked, looking around the once peaceful room that now harbored no less than twelve people, all of them picking out snacks from the mini bar.

She wanted to weep, wanted to scream that their vacation had been so abruptly terminated, especially when things had been going so great. Instead, she sucked it in like she always did when the guys’ work got in the way.

“They’re the team who are going to try to reduce the redness on Magdela’s face in some of the scenes.”

Bella blinked. “Do you mean to tell me they’re here because of two zits?”

Evie nodded. “Magdela was really pissed about them.”

“I imagine I’m feeling just as pissed. But then, my feelings don’t count, do they?” She sucked in a breath then hollered, “Everybody in here. Fuck. Off. Find your own rooms, your own lounges, and your own goddamn mini-bars.”

Evie spluttered, “But we need to get to work!”

“Yeah, well you can do it somewhere else. This is my suite. Not Evan’s office.”

Evie blinked. “Does it matter? This is really important, Bella.”

She shook her head. “Two zits are really important? God, what is the world coming to?”

The PA frowned. “Look, let me go and wake Evan, and we can get this ball on the road, and we’ll be out of your hair soon.”

“No!” Bella snapped. “I mean it, Evie, get everyone out of here. I’ll tell Evan to get up, and he’ll make his way to wherever the hell you’re staying in th
e hotel. Send him a text with the room number. You’re not staying here.”

Not only on principle, but if word got out that Harden, Evan and she all lived in a relationship, then they’d never hear the end of it. It would be in all the papers, all the tabloids...their lives would be living hell for however long it took for the infamy to die down. And even then, it wouldn’t stop.

So no, there was no way in hell these guys were going to be allowed to stay here. But also, on principle. The sun did not rise and set on Magdela Toulouse, zits or not. It pissed her off that her vacation time had been cut short because of one woman’s vanity.

Money might buy a lot of shit, but it didn’t buy time. And in the years of their relationship, she’d learned that time was the most precious commodity of them all.

At first, the money had been cool. She’d been bar-tending at night to work her way through a degree in accounting at CSU, and she’d met them in that bar one Friday evening. In the space of eight months, the pair of them had wooed her and fucked her silly, showing her life on the other side of the tracks. Tracks where nothing was out of bounds...especially in Harden’s tax bracket.

Now, the money meant they could stay in places like the luxurious Corsakis, but it meant relatively little else. What was the point in staying here when halfway through the goddamn vacation, work came a calling?

Gritting her teeth, she bit out, “Why the hell are you all just gawking at me? Get the fuck out of my room. Now!”

Her bellow had them moving. They trundled out at the same speed as they’d trundled in, taking their twenty-dollar bags of mixed nuts with them. As the sounds of their stomping feet and bitching wandered down the hall, she heard the faint squeak of the trolley that carried her breakfast. God, she had no appetite now.

“What are you still doing here, Evie?” she asked tiredly, running a hand over her wet hair.

  “Are you okay, Bella?”

“I was, until you showed up.”

Evie flushed again. “It isn’t my fault, Bella.”

“No? Who told them where we were staying? Who told them which goddamn suite we were in, because I doubt the hotel would have given away that information. You could have just let this ride for another two weeks, but no, you had to come now.”

“Every day we’re over the deadline costs the company a fortune!”

“What? And bringing all of these guys to Cyprus doesn’t? If this had been such a big deal, it could have all been dealt with in the US. Without Evan’s supervision.”

“Magdela insisted Evan oversaw the work.”

“Tough shit, and boo-hoo!” She sighed. “I don’t want to argue with you, just go.”

“But...I really need to speak to the boss.”

“Again, tough. He’ll wake up when he wakes up. Although, if he’s managed to sleep through all this, then it’s a miracle. Text him your room number and he’ll meet you when he wants to.”

For a second, Evie had a mulish cast to her face. But Bella just stared her out, thinking, “Two can play this game, bitch.” Apparently, she transmitted the thought, because Evie ducked her head and scampered out of the room. At the same time, the breakfast arrived. Yay.

  Not.

Nodding and trying to shoot a friendly smile at the porter, she gave him an Evan-sized tip, most unlike her frugal—aka normal—ones, and shooed him out as soon as she could. She wished shutting the door would shut out the world, but procrastination never worked. If Evan dealt with this problem now, then he could get back to his—their—vacation sooner.

Opening the bedroom door, she peered in. It was hard to see, but Harden had sat up, and was staring over at her. She could hear snoring, so Evan had managed to sleep through it all. Sighing, she climbed back into bed and cuddled up against Evan’s back, feeling a lot better at the contact, and even better, when Harden tucked himself behind her, too.

Evan grumbled at being embraced in his sleep, rolled around a bit, then grunted, “Bella? Move over, wudja?”

She rubbed the tip of her nose against the back of his neck. “It’s time to wake up, baby.”

“I thought the one rule of this holiday was that we didn’t need alarm clocks,” he groused, already sounding a lot more awake than he had mere seconds ago. But then, he was used to early morning starts, and being awoken with the slightest brouhaha.

  Just like today.

Christ, how did he stand it?

“I know, love, but Evie’s here. So is Magdela Toulouse, and a few of the production team.”

At that, he jerked upright, getting himself caught in the thick, cotton sheets. “Evie’s here?” he burst out, blinking owlishly.

  “Yeah.”

  “In the suite, here?”

“She was about two minutes ago. I got rid of her. They’re probably trying to check into another room right about now.”

“What? Why’ve they’ve come to Cyprus?”

“The zit thing. Apparently, it’s a big deal.”

“Big enough to come over here?” he asked, aghast.

“She wants you to deal with the editing. I guess Magdela must be fucking someone high up in the boardroom.”

Evan snorted as he scraped a hand over his face. “You’re not far wrong, but dammit, I didn’t realize they’d come over here. Fuck, I’m so sorry, you two.”

“Don’t be. These things happen,” Harden replied, his voice a deep rumble, as was usually the way so close to waking up.

  “Bella, do you forgive me?”

“It isn’t your fault.” She said the words begrudgingly. It wasn’t his fault, but that didn’t stop her from feeling peeved. He must have sensed that because he mumbled,

“No, but still.” He scrubbed his hand over the stubble on his jaw, managing to look more asleep than awake even if he was talking in full sentences. “If I can deal with this today, then hopefully it won’t spill over into the rest of the vacation.”

Bella nodded. “Evie will be texting you the room they’re in.”

He bent down, brushed his lips against hers and murmured, “Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Thank you.”

She smiled, humbled by his words. “You don’t have to thank me, goofball.”

He snorted. “Of course, I do. I’ll grab some clothes and take a shower in the other bathroom. If you two want to catch some more Zs, I won’t keep you awake. See you later, guys.”

“Later,” Harden murmured quietly, and held Bella tightly as the pair of them watched Evan leave the room and head for the guest shower. “You got really mad in there,” he commented, tone bland.

“I was pissed off,” she mumbled, turning her face into the pillow. She didn’t know why, but she really felt like crying. It was stupid, pathetic, even, but it wasn’t like she could control it.

  “Yeah, I heard.”

“If you’d answered the door expecting breakfast and been set upon by a stampede of production staff, how would you react?” She huffed. “Let’s be thankful for small mercies that I was the one at the door and not you. That kind of gossip is the last thing we need.”

He grunted. “I’d have been pissed at the interruption, as well. But I’m me, not you. You don’t get mad. Not usually. Not until this vacation. Why? What’s going on?”

She scowled. “You know why. I was concerned about what was going on with us all. And what? I can’t get mad now? Is that some kind of law?”

“Don’t be ridiculous,” he murmured calmly. “I’m just saying. I’ve heard you raise your voice a handle of times over the last four years. And most of them have happened during this trip.”

“I keep a lot inside,” she bit out.

“Yeah, I’m only just coming to realize that. It’s not good for you, Bella.”

  “No. I know, Harden.”

“I don’t want you to withhold your emotions anymore. Evan told me what you said that first night he and I slept together. He told me you were shocked when he started talking about kids.”

  She jerked a shoulder. “So?”<
br />
“So? It’s a big deal, Bella. You didn’t know that what we felt, feel, for you was a permanent thing, did you?” When she didn’t say anything, he continued, “What does the phrase, ‘I love you’ mean to you if it doesn’t make what we have permanent? Do we seem the type to overuse those words?”

She let silence hover between them for a moment, then mumbled, “Billionaire computer software moguls and Hollywood directors don’t usually fall for bartender-cum-accountants. Not for the long term anyway. And they usually have kids with people in their own social strata.”

He snorted. “Since when have Evan and I ever fit into any kind of pigeonhole. Apart from each other, do we hang around with other people in our ‘social strata.’”

“No,” she grumbled into the pillow.

“Well, then? What the hell gave you the idea we were just messing around with you?”

“I don’t know. We never did anything that seemed to cement the relationship.”

He reached for her left hand and touched the finger that would hold a wedding ring. “Would you feel better if one of us put a ring here?”

She sighed. “Not really. I’d hate only being married to one of you, and not the other. But maybe, subconsciously, I do need that reassurance.” She jerked a shoulder. “It doesn’t make sense, does it?”

“Of course, it does. Little girls are raised with the creed that they have to get married, that they have to settle down and start families.”

“When you put it like that, I guess I’m not loopy.”

He nodded, then slipped a hand over her waist and pressed a hand to her belly. “Evan and I were talking, and we both wanted to approach you about this, but, now’s as good a time as any. Because, baby, you are it for Evan and me. You really are. Wedding or no, engagement or no. So, if you get mad, you don’t have to worry about us leaving you. If you raise your voice to us, or complain at us, or grouse about something we do, everything isn’t going to end.
