  “I think that’s a fantastic idea.”

He grins against my mouth. “I do too.”

He wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up off the ground. I wrap my legs around his waist as I hold his face in my hands and our lips meet once more. He carries me into his bedroom and slowly lays me down on the bed. I feel my eyes roll up in the back of my head as he kisses down my jaw and neck. When he hovers over me, I meet his eyes with mine in a fiery connection. Jesus, his eyes are hooded, dark, and I’m ready for all the naughty things they promise me.

He runs his hands down my dress, grabbing the fabric at the bottom. “I can’t rip this, can I?”

“No, I will legit bite you if you do. Right in the jugular.”

He looks over at me with a disturbed look on his face. “That’s violent.”

  “Don’t rip my favorite dress.”

He grins as he pulls it up, exposing my thighs. He moves down my body, running his tongue along me as he reveals more skin. I moan from my soul. He follows the fabric of my dress up with his tongue, not missing a spot with his tongue or teeth. When he pulls the dress above my head, I lie there in my bra, rubber boobs, and a very revealing thong. He licks his lips as he looks me over.

“You are by far the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen,” he murmurs against my skin, making it really hard to believe otherwise. He pulls me up and unhooks my bra, throwing it along with the boobs to the floor. I thought it would be weird, but I’m so far gone, I don’t even care. The refreshing thing is, I don’t think he cares either. He kisses down the center of my chest, yanking at my thong with his hands as he licks and bites. I’m freaking lost in the feel of his mouth, arching so I can feel it even more. His fingers bite into my skin, and I cry out when he traces his tongue along my left scar.

  “Does it hurt?”

I cover my chest with my hands. “Not at all. I don’t even feel anything. Still a bit numb after all this time.”

He kisses my scars again. He then kisses up my throat, my jaw, before meeting my gaze, and he pulls my hands away. “Why are you so embarrassed by them?”

“Because I’m not fully a woman, in a way. The only thing that makes me different from a preteen boy is my vagina.”

He presses his palm into my other breast. “Well, with a great pussy like yours, you really don’t need anything else.”

I smile against his lips. “I want to get implants, but I never had the money to do so. And then there’s Callie. I have to make sure she is set before me.”

He brings in his brows. “She has the gene?”

I nod, my eyes welling up with tears. “Yes, and it kills me on a daily basis that I couldn’t protect her from it.”

His eyes change. Gone is the heat, and I feel stupid. I wipe away my tear, shaking my head. “Way to ruin the moment, Aviva.”

“No,” he says sternly. “You didn’t ruin it. You just made me want you more.”

“Nico…” I don’t even know what I was going to say. I just had to say his name.

“I think you are so damn hot, so damn womanly, and everything I want.”

I close my eyes. “You’re unreal.”

“I know, but I feel like I’ve been thinking that about you since I met you.”

Before I can say anything, his mouth takes mine, and slowly he slides my thong down my thighs. He sits up, pulling it down and off me before standing up at the side of the bed. I watch as he drinks me in, and I wonder what he is thinking. His look is so hot and wanton, but after putting myself down for so many years, I find it hard to believe he really wants me. He grabs me by my ankles, pulling me to the edge of the bed, and I laugh. He takes my wrists, lifting me up and into his arms. I slam into him, but it doesn’t hurt; it only makes me burn from the inside out. He snakes his arm around me, lifting me so that our lips meet as he carries me into the bathroom.

The bathroom is bigger than I expected, but it’s hard for me to take it in when his mouth is moving against mine like that. He sits me on the side of the tub, kissing my nose and then the side of my mouth before standing back up. He sighs hard, and I grin.

  “What?”

“I’m so damn hot for you. I just want to take you right here, but I also want you to relax.” He struggles to get out the words as he throws some Epsom salts in the tub. “You are beyond sexy, Aviva.”

I bite my lip as he starts to fill the tub. Man, I want him, and damn it, I should take what I want. I reach out, grabbing him by the legs of his pants, pulling him to me. He comes, a sexy smirk on his lips before he cups my face.

  “What are you doing?”

“Not what I’m doing. What you’re about to do to me.”

I undo his pants as he drops his mouth to mine. As I quickly push down his pants, along with his boxers, he throws off his jacket. I pull away, gripping his cock in my hand, moving my palm up and down the velvety skin. He groans loudly, and I look up at him in awe. I let him go and stand up, his wild eyes watching me. I turn and bend over, holding on to the tub, my ass right there for his pleasure.

The groan I’m answered with has my mouth watering. Nico takes my ass in his hands just as I feel his mouth on me. He licks up my pussy, and I cry out as I squeeze my eyes shut. He dips his tongue to rub against my clit, sliding up until he finds my entrance. Using just the tip of his tongue, he licks it ever so slowly along me, sending me into fits. He gives my pussy openmouthed kisses, and his name falls off my lips in a needy tone.

“That’s right, baby. Fuck, this is so right,” he says, and then his hand smacks my ass, making me cry out. He rubs his palm across the spot he just smacked and takes me by my hips. He jerks me back against his cock, my wet center gliding along his long, engorged flesh. He guides my hips up and down so that I slide along his cock, and I’m lost.

Gone. I might have died. I’m not sure.

His fingers clench into my hips, and then he moves away. I look over my shoulder to see him opening a drawer and pulling out a row of condoms. He tears one off and then opens it quickly. His hands are shaking, and a grin moves across my face. I’m driving him crazy. I did that. He sheathes himself and then grabs me by my hips once more. With the next breath I take, he fills me completely. I let my head fall as his groans fill the bathroom. His fingers squeeze my hips as he starts to move in and out of me. His thrusts are hard, but I welcome them. I crave them. Each one has me jerking forward, taking every single breath I have in my body. He slides his hand down my spine, and he wraps my hair around his fist before pulling my head back.

“Oh… Oh, Nico,” I cry, and he turns my head so his mouth can take mine. He stills for only a second to kiss me, and I’m shaking with lust. When he tears his mouth from mine, he grips my hair while he holds my hip with his other hand as I shatter into a billion pieces.

“Fuck,” he groans out as he starts to slam into me.

I ride out my orgasm, squeezing him like a vise, and it feels so fucking good. He clutches my hip as he yells my name in a heated, broken voice. It doesn’t take long until he is coming just as hard as I did. He jerks into me, his body quivering against mine as his mouth drops to my back. My legs are about to give out, but I don’t dare move. I feel as if I could fall face first into this water and drown, but I couldn’t care if I tried.

Because I have never felt more alive in my life.

  Chapter Nineteen

  Nico

Callie is a natural on the ice. For someone who hasn’t ever been skating, she’s pretty damn good. I only had to help a bit before she caught on and took off. I love how big she is smiling and how much fun she’s having. She left her hair down, so it’s flying behind her as she races across the ice. In my oversized hoodie since neither she nor Aviva brought a jacket, she’s having a blast. I want to put a stick in her hand, but I’m currently making sure her sister doesn’t die.

  Aviva is not a natural.

I’m unsure how this girl walks on a daily basis.

“I’m going to die. Oh my God, Nico, I’m going to die
.”

It’s hard not to laugh. I hold her by her waist—she is hardly even putting pressure on the ice—as I say, “Babe, I got you.”

“No! Ah! Oh my God, how the hell do you do this? Nico! Ah!”

She swings her arms out, and I can’t even see straight, I’m laughing so hard. “Aviva, you aren’t even touching the ice. I’m holding you up.”

She stops flailing her arms and looks over at me. With a forgiving smile, she shrugs. “I’m kinda scared.”

“No?” I say sarcastically. “You got this. One foot at a time.”

She tenses up. “I don’t want to die.”

I give her a pointed look. “Would I let you die?”

  She searches my eyes. “No…?”

“No,” I repeat, slowly lowering her to the ice. With my arm still around her, I push off. “There you go.”

“Ah, I’m skating! Look, Callie! I’m doing it!”

Meanwhile, Callie is spinning on the ice like a damn figure skater. “You mean Nico is pushing you across some ice?”

Man, I want to laugh so hard. I kiss Aviva’s ear. “You’re doing great. Don’t listen to her,” I encourage as I loosen my grip. “Okay, slide your skates. Yes. Good. Attagirl! You’re doing great.”

She’s still digging her nails into my arm, but she’s actually somewhat moving on her own. I could probably let her go, but I honestly don’t want to. The last two days have been great. We spent Friday night going at it. The whole night. We couldn’t get enough of each other. While I was at practice on Saturday, she was running the shop. When she was done, she and Callie came over for a bonfire on the beach. The cops came over, which Chandler warned me about, but I’m not paying some bitter asshole to keep from calling the cops. I’ll deal, and we had fun anyway. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. They are both a blast to hang out with. I didn’t want Aviva to leave, but I don’t want Callie getting the wrong idea. I don’t want her thinking I’m just in it to get her sister into bed. I want her to know I respect them both.

I don’t know where this train of thought came from. I think it all stems from when Callie told me she Googled me. If she did that, then she saw me with all the women I’ve been with. Since Aviva assumed I wasn’t a one-woman man, I’m pretty sure Callie must think the same. I’m out to prove people wrong; I live off it. Plus, I want Callie to know her worth. Aviva has an issue with that, and I don’t want that for Callie. I care too much about her. I care way too much for both of them given the amount of time I’ve known them. It worries me, these overwhelming feelings, but I wouldn’t want to feel anything else. They both make me happy. But Aviva, man, she makes me feel things, real things.

I kiss her jaw at her excitement of not falling. I’m not sure if her delight is from the endless orgasms I keep giving her or if it’s me. Or both. I’m not sure, but she hasn’t stopped smiling. Every time I see her, she seems like she’s glowing. I thought getting the car from Jaylin would piss her off, but she actually took it in stride. It’s probably because Callie’s competition season is coming up, and Aviva will need a car for that. I wish she’d let me help her, but I wouldn’t dare offer. She’d probably claw my eyes out.

When I notice that she is actually skating, I loosen my grip. “I’m going to let you go.”

She starts falling as she cries out, “Don’t you dare!”

I hold her close to me and laugh. “I’m starting to think you’re doing this so I won’t let you go.”

I can see her grin as she leans into me. “Maybe.”

I kiss her cheek. “Good, I don’t want to let you go either.” She exhales harshly, and I perk my brow. “What’s wrong?”

She shrugs, and if I could see her face, I know she’d have her brow furrowed. “I feel stupid saying this, but I don’t want you to leave.”

“Why does that make you stupid?”

She looks up at me, and like I thought, her brow is all puckered. “Because we’ve only been seeing each other—”

  “Seeing each other?”

She eyes me. “Yes, it’s where I see you and you see—”

I press my lips to hers to keep her from talking anymore. “Shut it, smartass.” She grins against my lip as we glide across the ice. Callie is just dancing to the music that is playing, and I’m starting to think maybe she needs to be a skater. The girl is awesome. “We aren’t seeing each other.”

She scoffs. “I’m legit staring at you right now.”

I roll my eyes, and then without thinking, I say, “I want you to be my girlfriend.”

She seems surprised, but then she curves her lip at the side. “You do?”

“Yeah,” I say softly. It’s the truth. I don’t want to date her or see her; I want to know that she’s mine. That when I call, she is waiting to hear from me. The person I can talk to about a bad day and a good day. We stayed up until two last night talking about our days, and it was great. We talked hockey and subs, and I never thought I could love talking about two things so much. I might be rushing this—I probably am—but I think the biggest mistake I made with Shelli was that I didn’t lock her in. I just kept fucking her and being around when she wanted it. I didn’t ask her to be mine. I won’t make that mistake again. I won’t let someone take Aviva from me.

“I don’t want to leave and think that you could find someone else better.”

She reaches up, cupping my face. “That’s my line.”

“I mean, I deleted my Tinder account yesterday. I’m serious here.”

  She grins. “Aw—”

  “Aviva.”

  “Yes. Sorry. I hear you.”

I smile. “I know it’s kinda early. Like you said, we’ve only been doing this dance for about a week, but I know what I want. I’ve known for a while, and I want to be your boyfriend.”

“It is kinda rushed,” she drawls, her eyes burning into mine. I feel the rejection wash over me, but then she smiles. “But I’ve never wanted to be wanted by anyone the way I want to be wanted by you.”

I exhale in a rush before dropping my mouth to hers. She cups my face as our lips dance, and everything inside me fires off like mad. I press my forehead into hers, and I know she feels how hard I am against her sweet ass. She does this to me; she drives me absolutely reckless, and I crave it. I love this feeling. I pull back to look down into her face, and man, she has me in my feelings.

  “Um, guys?”

I can’t pull my gaze from hers. Her green depths are swirling with such heat and sweetness. I can’t believe this girl is into me. I’m just a weirdo hockey player, and she’s perfection. I open my mouth to tell her that, but before I can even get the words out, we smack right into the boards. I fall back on the ice with her on top of me, and within seconds, our sides are splitting with laughter. She falls to the side of me, our legs tangled together as our eyes meet. She’s crying from laughing, and I know I mirror her. I wipe her tears as she sets me with a frisky look.

“I thought you said you wouldn’t let me fall,” she scolds playfully, smacking my chest.

I gather her up in my arms, kissing her nose. “Not my fault. All yours.”

  “How?”

  “You distracted me!”

Her lips turn into a smirk as she cups my jaw, running her thumb along my lips. “What am I going to do with you?”

“Everything,” I answer, and I don’t want anything but that.

  To do everything with Aviva.

When Amelia opens the door, her eyes widen a bit as she takes us all in.

  “Coach!”

Amelia and Callie embrace as she looks over at me. “Hey, girl. How are you?”

  “Good. Where are the babies?”

“They’re on the floor,” she says, hooking her thumb behind her, and Callie rushes past her to go in. I watch as she glances from me to Aviva and then back to me. She looks genuinely surprised, and that pleases me. I love keeping her on her toes. After Amelia saying Aviva doesn’t have time for me, I like that she is seeing Aviva’s hand in mine and gr
ins on our faces.

  “Boom. She likes me.”

Amelia rolls her eyes. “Shut up! When you said you were bringing someone, I didn’t expect to see my favorite gymnast and her sister.”

I shrug. “I’m full of surprises.”

“I hope it’s okay—” Aviva starts, but Amelia quickly waves her off.

“Of course it is. You’re always welcome! Dinner is almost done. Come on in.”

We follow her in, and the aroma of tacos fills the house. It smells damn good. For the last six months, we’ve been having dinner together before we leave on road trips. I don’t know how it happened, but I just started showing up before I packed, and Amelia would feed me. She wasn’t that great of a cook when we met, but she’s getting better. Tacos are her specialty.

As I walk in, I notice the house is actually clean, which means Amelia is finding her footing. That pleases me since she was struggling for a bit there. “Looks great in here.”

Amelia grins over at me. “Yeah, I’ve learned to clean when they’re sleeping.”

Callie is on the floor with the twins and Sadie. She’s their guard dog; those are her babies. At least that’s the running joke.

Aviva drops to her knees to gush over the babies. “They’re getting so big, Amelia,” she says as Sadie demands attention.

I rub Sadie’s back as Amelia agrees with Aviva. “I know. I feel like they’re growing every second.”

“They are,” Aviva says, and I bend down to my buddy Carter.

He’s a chubby little thing and so damn cute. “Hey, fat man, come here.” I pick him up, cradling his head before pressing him to my chest and standing. “He’s a sack of potatoes. What are you feeding this kid?”

  Amelia shrugs. “Formula. He’s hungry.”

Aviva glances up at her. “You’re not breastfeeding?”

She shakes her head. “My milk didn’t come in. My boobs are worthless,” she says with a shrug. “I don’t care, though, as long as my kids are healthy and happy.”
