I ran downstairs but could hear behind me, Patrick calling me.
When I got outside; "Clark wait I need to talk to you," he said, grabbing me by the arm again but this time throwing me to the floor.
I started to crawl back to get a little space to escape from there. I took my hand in my pocket and took my car keys, putting them between my fingers.
"Oh Clark, are you going to hit me with that?" He asked me, clicking my hand.
The key fell to the floor and when he was too close to me.
I hit him with my foot in his chest; "No, you dumbass."
Patrick fell backward, and I got up and started running.
Why didn't I get the damn keys to my car?
Fuck!
As I got farther from Pat, I slowed my running and grabbed my cell phone to call Kyle one more time, but when he answered — I felt a big bump against my legs, the force of the impact was so big that I felt my whole body flying out to the sidewalk.
Then I felt the weight of my body fall against the ground.
My head immediately hit hard on the floor, and after that, everything around me went—black.
