She’d freaked out when she saw his tattoo that first time. Alice chuckled to herself when she remembered the way he looked at her when she related her Wonderland Adventure to him. He’d insisted on taking her to the hospital to get checked out by a doctor. One hot kiss and several well-placed strokes later, he’d forgotten his plans and took her to bed instead.
“You did good, girl.” Kitty bumped shoulders with her and they shared a smile. “So, tell me. Why is a Raven like a writing desk?”
“I give.”
“They both know how to keep their secrets.” Kitty winked at her. “I’m so glad you’re our Alice. Let the party commence!”
