  And he kept going deeper.

“Oh… ohhh… ooooooh…” I moaned as his head stroked spots so good, so deep – and I couldn’t do anything about it. I was helpless, my hands pinned there behind me, unable to do anything but just surrender to him and the pleasure he was bringing me.

He started to move faster. Thrusting deeper.

“Oh oh oh oh oh,” I cried into the bed, the pleasure even more intense –

I felt him release my hands, which slid off my back to the bed.

  Aw…

But then I felt him grab my hair at the back of my head.

  OH.

He pulled gently but insistently on my hair until I got up on all fours, my head arched in the air.

I looked in the mirror again. This time it was totally reversed… his tan skin behind me, hips bucking as he took me from behind, my breasts swaying in the air with every violent thrust, the grim look of pain on his face because he was trying not to come –

God, I loved it. I loved him fucking me doggy style – totally dominating me like this – taking me for his pleasure –

He slammed into me harder, his thighs slapping my ass as he plunged so deep inside me.

“OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD,” I cried out as he went faster, harder, deeper. “I’M COMING – I’M COMING – ”

I came, and came, and came, the waves of bliss overlapping, never stopping, because he never stopped. My orgasm built and doubled over on itself, crashing through my body, my arms weakening from the trembling contractions that were taking me over.

“I’m going to come,” he grunted like an animal. “I’m going to come – ”

I don’t know what came over me (well, other than about a half dozen thundering orgasms) because I’d never uttered these words in my life, but I cried out, “I want to see – I want to see you come – come on me – ”

He groaned and then pulled out, roughly shoving me to the side. I rolled over onto my back and he was between my legs, his cock strained and the head purple as he jerked it with his hand, his fingers moving fast and violently over the shaft. He groaned and cursed as he tried to come, but couldn’t.

I wanted to touch it so bad – I wanted to hear him scream with pleasure – so I reached out and grabbed the head of his cock.

He let go and let me take over. I pumped my hand up and down the shaft, still wet from being inside me.

A look of pain and bliss took over his face, his features contorted, and he roared as I felt his cock explode in my grasp.

“Oh God,” I cried in pleasure as it spurted in my hand, jets of hot liquid hitting my belly and breasts.

“Oh… oh… unh…” he groaned as the contractions began to lessen, and his cum lessened from massive jolts to slow white dribblings of cream.

I slowed my strokes and gently caressed him. When his spasms stopped completely, he lowered himself on top of me and kissed me deeply.

  “I love you,” he murmured.

“I love you, too,” I whispered back, and smiled.

The next morning I woke up in his arms.

“Morning, babe,” he whispered in my ear.

“…mmmm…” I mumbled, then smiled naughtily. “…so… sex or surfing?”

“Both,” he grinned, “but after. I need to go talk to Vic and Bryce first.”

That woke me all the way up. “What? Why?”

“You want that shack on the beach, right? I need to go make arrangements.”

I propped myself up on my elbow. “It doesn’t have to be now…”

“It kind of does.” He kissed me, then got out of bed and searched for his clothes.

“Do you really have to go?” I asked.

He looked back at me quizzically. “I thought you wanted me to get a job.”

  “Well, I do, but…”

Now he looked positively confused. “But what?”

I laughed at the sheer absurdity of the situation. Not 24 hours ago, he was about to walk out on me – and now we were talking about getting married. “This is kind of crazy, isn’t it? I mean, we just met, like, two and a half weeks ago!”

He frowned. “Are you backing out?”

“No! No, I’m just saying… it’s kind of fast, that’s all.”

“Ohhhh,” he said, like he finally understood. “Look, this meeting is about nothing more than me getting us squared away so we have the chance to move forward. We don’t have to… you know…buy the shack tomorrow. Or next month. Or even a year from now.”

Relief flooded my body. Not to mention amusement at his euphemism for getting married.

“Okay… so we don’t have to rush into ‘buying the shack,’” I confirmed.

  “Nope.”

I decided to tease him. “When we do buy the shack, are you going to be all romantic and, like, buy me a key and get down on one knee?”

“Yup. A really, really big key.”

“Oh!” I said, and clasped my hands to the sides of my face like That’s sooo romantic!

“And we’re not going to drive to Vegas and buy a shack, right?”

“Definitely not. Especially not from Elvis.”

“Well, duh, he’s not even born yet.”

He shook his head in mock annoyance. “I keep telling you – Dylan.”

“We’ll talk.” I made an over-the-top seductive face and wiggled my eyebrows. “When we do buy the shack, do you promise to keep giving me a hotdog every night?”

He grinned, then leaned over and kissed me. “All night, every morning, and whenever you want in between.”

“Mmmm,” I murmured as we kissed, then pushed him away. “Alright, go do the… whatever it is you need to do to get started on the shack. Then come back so we can work on the babies.”

He froze, a deer-in-headlights look on his face.

I howled with laughter. “I’m talking about practicing, not real babies! I’m still on the pill, jeez!”

I’ve never seen anybody look so relieved in my life. “…oh… okay…”

I threw a pillow at him. “Go!”

He leaned over with a grin, gave me one last kiss, and walked out.

  Ian

God, I wanted to marry that girl.

  Strange… I never thought I would say that again… but I did.

I walked out in front of Katie’s house in my rumpled suit and dialed a number on my cell.

“…dude… do you know what time it is?” Vic’s sleepy voice said after five rings.

“Yeah – time for you and Bryce to get over here.”

“No, it’s ‘way too early in the morning to be – ’ wait, what?” A note of cautious hope crept into his voice. “Why would we come over to your house?”

“You want me back in the IPO, right?”

  “Of course.”

“Then get dressed and come over. I’ll call Bryce. We’ve got some things to discuss if you want me onboard.”

  “...are you serious?”

  “Yes. Absolutely.”

There was exuberant laughter on the other end, followed by a woman’s sleepy voice.

“It’s fine, go back to sleep,” Vic said. Then I heard the sound of a door close.

  “Who was that?” I asked.

“Oh – that smokin’ hot chick you turned down yesterday.”

  “You took HER home?”

“Yeah, man, of course. I got game.”

“Uh huh. No, really, how’d you do it?”

“Ahhh, you know how it is – once they find out how much you’re worth, the panties drop.”

I allowed myself a smile. Not Katie.

“Alright, if you can tear yourself away from your new love – ”

  “I wouldn’t call it LOVE.”

“Yeah, I figured. Well, get there as soon as you can.”

  “Where, Surfer Girl’s?”

  I paused.

  Should I?

  …yeah. It was time.

“No, my parents’ house. I’ll text you the
address,” I said, then hung up to call Bryce.

  102

After I called Bryce – who sounded like he was suffering the granddaddy of all hangovers – I walked away from Katie’s house with a spring in my step and an absurdly huge grin on my face.

Then I got the cherry on top of the sundae.

I saw him across the street, sitting in a car, watching me.

  Katie’s asshole ex-fiancé.

Should I? I asked myself for the second time in ten minutes.

  …sure. Why the hell not?

  Treat yourself.

I pulled out my phone, texted something, and then walked on over to Rick.

He glared at me hatefully as I gestured at him to get out of the car. He didn’t comply, so I crooked my fingers again with a face like Come on.

“Fuck off,” he snarled, his voice muffled on the other side of the glass.

I needed him to get out of the car, so I decided to provoke him.

“Pussy,” I said, and walked about ten feet away.

  Sure enough, that did it.

He flung open the car door and slammed it shut as he stomped after me. “What did you say to me?”

I turned around. “Have you been here the entire last two weeks? Or did you fly in again with her parents?”

  “None of your fucking business.”

“It is my fucking business, since I love her and you’re stalking her.”

The look on his face when I said ‘I love her’ was odd – rage and shock, yes, but no hurt. No sadness, grief, or pain. Nothing a normal guy might feel in the same situation.

No – Rick was just furious about being upstaged by another man. Somebody else was playing with his toy, and he was pissed.

“You need to leave town and never come back,” I said.

He laughed – an ugly, evil sound – and pulled back his sports jacket to reveal a pistol tucked in the waistband of his pants. “Fuck… YOU.”

I won’t deny it, I was a little rattled by the sight of the gun.

But more than that, I was outraged – and worried.

I figured the gun was for me alone, and was purely for intimidation. After all, he hadn’t drawn it.

But… what if the pistol wasn’t just for me?

And what if he didn’t have it solely for intimidation?

If this bastard was looking to hurt Katie –

I kept my cool, though. “Concealed carry in California is illegal unless you’re specifically licensed by the state – you know that, right?”

  “I don’t care.”

“You’re a lawyer. Given the fact that you’re stalking Katie, you do understand the legal ramifications of what you’re doing, right?”

“There’s no restraining order out on me. I can do whatever the hell I want.”

“Yeah, well… I’d like to stay and impress upon you the severity of your situation, and convince you to go back home to Kansas so that nobody gets hurt – but I’ve got somewhere to be, so I’m just gonna let you talk to these gentlemen instead.”

  “What ‘gentlemen’?” Rick sneered.

I pointed behind him. “Those gentlemen.”

  Rick turned around –

And found himself staring into the faces of three burly former SEALs.

They’d snuck up on him, silent as cats, while he was enjoying himself threatening me.

He didn’t draw the gun, thank God. Instead, he tried to bolt – but the bodyguards grabbed his arms and restrained him before he even turned all the way around.

Rick started to scream, but one of the SEALs clamped his hand over Rick’s mouth. “Shut up or I break your arm.”

  He shut up.

Another soldier snagged the pistol out of Rick’s pants, checked, and shook his head at me. “Wasn’t even loaded.”

  Thank God.

Rick might have been an asshole, but at least he wasn’t a dangerous asshole.

Still… no need to take chances.

It was early on a Sunday morning, so there weren’t many people out – but we were starting to draw attention from a couple of homeless guys. They could be counted on to mind their own business when it came to the cops, but there would be a dog walker along any minute, for sure.

  Time to wrap this up.

“Don’t hurt him,” I said. “Just make it clear he needs to forget all about Katie and never come back. Drive him to the airport and make sure he catches a flight back home – in fact, why don’t you book your own tickets and escort him back to Wichita. Charge it all to my account.”

At the mention of ‘charge it all to my account,’ Rick stared at me with an expression like, Who the hell ARE you?

“You got it, sir,” the team leader agreed.

“Thanks, guys,” I said to the soldiers. “And Rick?”

Rick looked at me, bewildered and terrified, a giant hand still clamped over his mouth.

“Don’t let me ever see you again,” I said, then walked off down the street.

It was starting out to be a damn good day.

  Katie

As soon as Ian left, I jumped in the shower. Afterwards I put my robe back on and went out to the kitchen for breakfast.

I was fixing a little plate of fruit when the front door opened. In walked Aisha with slightly disheveled hair and her dress askew.

“Oh my,” I said, doing my best George Takei impression.

“Don’t even start, Miss ‘I Get Nookie Every Night.’”

I made a face. “You didn’t sleep with Vic, did you?”

“EWWWW, no,” she snapped, then looked even more irritated. “Emmanuelle ended up going home with him.”

“Oh God, no,” I said, and shook my head. “I thought she had better taste than that.”

“I know, right? I mean, he’s hot, don’t get me wrong, but – damn he a ho,” she said, throwing in a little ‘street’ for her assessment of Vic’s character.

I laughed so hard I snorted.

She laughed with me, then shook her head. “She’ll enjoy the Maseratis and caviar while they last, but she’ll be calling me whining about The Notebook before too long, just you watch.”

“So who did you…?” I asked, wiggling my eyebrows.

“Oh.” She grinned. “One of the groomsmen.”

  “How was it?”

Her smile turned positively sphinx-like. “…it was nice…”

  “‘Nice’? That’s it?!”

“Okay, very nice. He’s talented with his tongue. Not as ‘gifted’ as your boyfriend, but – ”

“Stop it!” I cried out, and threw a grape at her.

Her laugh turned into a yawn. “Speaking of which, can you guys maybe not do the nasty till I get a few hours of shuteye?”

I blushed. “He’s not even here.”

  She frowned. “Everything okay?”

“Yeah – it’s great.” I thought about telling her about the ‘shack,’ but decided I didn’t want to jinx it. “He just had to go do something early, some sort of business thing.”

“On a Sunday morning?” she asked, confused.

  I shrugged.

“Okay… well, I’m not complaining.” She yawned again. “Momma needs some sleepy time, which wouldn’t happen if he was here.”

“We would be quiet,” I protested.

She made a face like Riiiiight. “Honey, have you heard yourself having sex with him? I don’t care how hard you try, you ain’t ever quiet. He is, but you aren’t.”

My face immediately felt like it was on fire.

She laughed as she opened the door to her bedroom. “Don’t be embarrassed – I wouldn’t be quiet either if I was gettin’ it on with a man like that. Mm, mm, mm. ‘Night.”

“Oh my god oh my god oh my god,” I whispered, my hands shielding my eyes in embarrassment.

  104

I finished up my plate of fruit and was about to go back to bed when there was another knock on the door.

  I froze.

  Rick?

>   My parents?

I walked over to the window and pulled the curtain aside.

My eyes bugged out, and I opened the door.

It was the brunette from the wedding – Ian’s ex-wife Natasha. Only this time she was wearing a black pantsuit instead of a red dress.

  “Hello again,” she said.

“Ian’s not here,” I snapped, blocking the doorway.

  “I know.”

  That threw me.

“Then what the hell are you doing here?” I asked, clutching my robe.

  “I came to warn you.”

I felt a coldness in my chest. “…warn me about what?”

“Ian, of course.” She walked over to the railing of the porch, pulled out a cigarette from a gold case, and lit it. “You two seem like you’re very much in love.”

  “That’s none of your business.”

She puffed on the cigarette. “I was very much in love with him a couple of years ago, too.”

  “I don’t care.”

“You should. Do you know who he really is?”

  “Of course I do.”

“Really? I’m shocked. He was always so secretive when we were married. I always felt like he was keeping things from me…”

I hated her. I knew she was manipulating me, pushing my buttons…

  …but it still worked.

I fought back, though… as best I could.

“He told me enough,” I said coldly. “He told me about you.”

She smiled, amused. “Did he? What did he say?”

“You worked together, you got married, you divorced three years ago, and you took him for a lot of money.”

“I see. Did he tell you where we worked?”

  I realized he’d never mentioned that. “…no.”

“So he didn’t tell you that he owned the company, and I was one of his vice presidents.”

My stomach felt like it suddenly filled with ice. “…no… he didn’t tell me that…”

  105

  Ian

I stood in front of the giant picture window in my parents’ house that looked out on the beach. Vic sat upright in a chair, looking vaguely puzzled. Bryce was huddled in a fetal position on the sofa. He’d claimed that he was hung over, but I suspected he was still drunk from last night.
