The Billionaire’s Intern: An Older Man, Younger Woman Romance Page 2

by Arlo Arrow

“I hate it when people don’t look at me when I’m talking to them. You need to stop that,” he growled at me.

  “Yes, so you understand.”

  “About?”

“We can’t go out for coffee. Now, I’ll get my iPad,” I said as I smiled at him. Then I turned to move as far away from him as possible. I tried to do it with confidence, but instead, I tripped and fell on the damn floor. I was acting like some love sick teenager. He darted across to my rescue. I wish he’d stop doing that!

“I think you need coffee first. You just tripped over your foot!”

He was laughing as he stretched out his hand. I wanted something stronger, and it had a little something to do with what was going on between my legs. He slowly traced his fingers to my hand,“You don’t have to be nervous around me. I’m nothing like my dad.”

My lips quivered as I tried to smile. I wasn’t doing a good job because he was nothing like his dad. He wasn’t married, old and only hot as sin.

  Chapter 3

  Gabe

Some part of me expected my dad to fuck up, but not to the point where he got himself arrested, and I was the only person left to pick up the pieces he’d left broken. I’d thought I had time to prepare myself to become CEO, but the job was thrust upon me. And I had to do a shit ton of work before that just to assure the FBI that I wasn’t in the know with my old man, or the whole family could have been in deep waters.

Then, when everything was finally in the clear, and I was heading into work for the first time tired off my ass, they're a bunch of bastards on the subway that I have to deal with. Of course, then I met Jasmine, and I was stuck in the combination of horny and being tired.

Getting her to go out of the office with me for a coffee, in spite of all her protests, was worth it, but no, I couldn’t stop staring at her. We’d stopped at a coffee shop that was a bit of a distance from work. I’d hoped it would relax her a bit, and it would get us away from prying eyes, but damn. She was sexy as hell, and I could barely concentrate on the conversation with how she had her legs folded, one over the other, raising her skirt a little higher up her thighs.

“Are you sure this is the best idea,” I heard her mutter. “We’re boss and employee. Isn’t there a regulation against that?”

I blinked my eyes as she brought me out of my staring. I gave her a smirk and took a sip of my coffee. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

She arched an eyebrow. “You’re the CEO aren’t you? You should know the rules of your own company.”

I shrugged. “I do. I got intimate with those rules over the past few weeks. There’s nothing that says I can't take my secretary out for coffee.”

She narrowed her eyes at my innocent tone. “You know that’s not what I meant.”

My eyes did another slow once over of her sexy body, and I shifted in my seat to readjust the growing problem in my pants. I was trying to pay attention, I was, but all I could think of was pressing her back against the closest surface, wrapping her sexy legs around my hips and fucking her until we were both exhausted.

Fuck. Too bad we’re in a coffee shop. And I’m a CEO now, so I can't even drag her off to the bathroom. It sets the wrong image, and the company suffered enough already.

I sighed at my thoughts. “Whatever you mean, Jasmine, there’s nothing against regulation in what we’re doing. There is if you’re against my advances. And if you are, at your say so, I’ll never do it again.”

She opened her mouth immediately, only to freeze with no words coming out. After a second, she snapped her mouth closed and furrowed her brows. She took a sip of her drink instead, looking down at her fingers drumming on the table.

I chuckled in amusement. She sent me a glare but didn’t speak, and it only made me laugh some more. Then I leaned my elbow on the table and braced my chin on my palm, my eyes going half lidded as I gave her another deliberate once over.

“You have such a lovely figure, Jasmine,” I murmured, meeting her eyes. “I’ve been thinking about it since I ran into you this morning. Your clothes frame it perfectly, but I’d like to see what you’d look like without them.”

I heard her sharp intake of breath, and I was pretty sure she wanted me back with the way her eyes were suddenly looking at me with interest.

“You’re a smooth talker, aren’t you?” she muttered. “You’re trying to convince me to do this.”

I arched an eyebrow. “You can always say no,” I pointed out. “I’m not going to force you, Jasmine. I’d like to know what you want to do.”

She opened her mouth again, only to snap it shut as she scowled. “Goddammit,” she growled to herself. “I can't believe I’m even considering this.”

“I’m happy that you’re thinking about it,” I said quickly. “Or else it would just be me, and that would be so fucking sad.”

She jumped a little in her chair, and I thought it was because she heard me curse. I could have laughed.

“I know you worked with my father for some time, from now on don’t expect things to be the way that they were before. I’m not my father; I’d like to think I’m very different from him, including in how we do things.” I gave her a slow smile. “You don’t have to put up your defenses with me.”

Jasmine narrowed her eyes at me as she leaned back in her seat and folded her arms under her breasts. I couldn’t help a quick glance down as the move had pushed her breasts up and I was very interested in looking at her, but I recovered quickly and met her eyes again.

“Different, how?” she asked, voice filled with suspicion.

“Because, my dearest Jasmine,” I said with a smirk. “I tend to get what I want. And what I want is you. You’re going to be mine, and you’re going to love it.”

Her eyebrows went up as she looked at me with disdain. “You’re full of yourself, aren’t you. Mr. CEO?”

I just chuckled at her snide tone. “Oh, but Jasmine, that doesn’t matter, because you’re going to be on board with everything. See, we’re going to fuck. And not just once.”

I leaned forward, and she did the same, almost unconsciously. At least, I didn’t think she realized she was even doing it. Her eyes were dilated, lips moist because she’d licked them, and parted as she took deeper breaths through her mouth. My smirk only grew in confidence, because whether she admitted it or not, she was obviously as attracted to me as I was to her.

“We,” I murmured, keeping my voice low and intimate, “are going to fuck very often, Jasmine. Every Monday morning just to start with.”

She gasped, arms falling to her lap. I watched as her face flushed a darker pink and she squirmed in her seat. Then she bit her bottom lip, eyes looking at me the same way I’d been looking at her body the whole time and she squirmed some more.

  I grinned.

“Here,” I said, pulling a card from a pocket inside my jacket and dropping it on the table between us. “This is the name of a hotel. It’s very near here.” I stood up. “I’m going there and you will follow. I will not wait for you for more than five minutes, Jasmine.”

Her eyes held mine the entire time, but then they dropped to the card. Almost reluctantly, one of her hands slid onto the table to grasp onto the card and she dragged it to her side of the table.

I smirked. “The suite number is 2207. I like punctuality in my employees, Jasmine. I expect you to be on time.”

She read the words on it, then held the card pressed between her hands as she looked up at me from under her lashes, her lips pursed.

“You know, I could always report you. Technically, this can count as sexual harassment, and I get paid without having to work with you.”

I hummed, my eyes trailing down her face to her chest.

“Now, why do I doubt that?” I murmured. “Do you realize, Jasmine? I can see down your shirt. Because you had one button undone when you came into my office this morning, and right now, three more buttons are undone.”

Her eyes widened as she looked down at her shir
t. I could have laughed at the look of almost betrayal as she glanced between her buttons and her fingers.

So I did, a laugh that had people turning their attention to us, but they were too far to listen to our conversation because I wasn’t broadcasting it.

“You didn’t even realize, did you?” I said as I shook my head in mock pity. She looked up at me, face flushed as she glared, but I only just smirked. “I’ll be expecting you,” I said in a parting shot.

I picked up my coffee and walked out of the shop in higher spirits than I’d been in when I left home that morning.

  Chapter 4

  Jasmine

  What’s wrong with me?

I have a million reasons for not coming and only one for being here. I shouldn’t be here. I keep telling myself that, from the time I left work to the time I got the key card and came up to the suite.

Everything about this is wrong because he’s my boss. Hot, sexy boss that I couldn’t get out of my mind. He was toying with me. Probably thinking that I was after a promotion. Sure, I wanted to keep my job, but at what price?

This was as good as prostitution, and I was falling for it. I decided that I wasn’t going to get involved with another man again.

Why couldn’t I just stick to my word?

Life would be so much easier. I was just about to leave. I made a mistake, and as my eyes darted across the suite, I saw him. Gabe managed to arrive before me, and he looked even hotter than I’d last saw him, which wasn't that long ago.

“Jasmine, I thought that you weren’t going to turn up. Drink.”

He lifted up the glass of whatever he had swirling around the ice, and I didn’t hesitate in shaking my head. It wasn’t even twelve. Wasn’t that too early to have a drink?

“Suit yourself. I need one. It’s going to be a long day.”

I nodded my head, and I was just about to ask him if it was so long, then what were we doing in a hotel suite?

My head had all these thoughts, and my mouth was zipped tight. As if he’d magically put super glue on it or something.

He moved slowly towards me. I tried to look away, but I couldn’t because every time I tried, I found myself mesmerized by his eyes.

“You don’t need to stand near the door like that. I’m not going to bite,” he said, and then he flashed his implacable set of white teeth and all of a sudden I felt so conscious of mine. I wished that if we were going to do this, then I’d had a shower first.

I opened my mouth slightly, but it was too late. His hand was on my purse, which I was clutching on my chest as if for dear life. It was the barrier between us, and he took it and threw it onto the sofa effortlessly and then he smiled at me. I hated the way that his smile sent my emotions into a rollercoaster and my panties automatically became wet.

“I came here for a reason,” my voice was trembling, and his stare wasn’t fading as he lifted his hands and took off my jacket.

I tried to move, but my feet were stuck. It was as if they wanted to stay so badly so that they could know what he did next.

He lifted me up as if I was as light as a feather. Everything was moving so fast, Gabe didn’t sugar coat about us coming to the hotel. I didn’t know why I’d expect him to do the same once we were in his suite. His control. His rule of authority and I hated to admit it to myself, but I loved it.

I squealed, “Gabe, what are you doing?”

Then he dropped me on the bed and said, “I want to fucking taste you!”

I shook my head thinking that this was a joke, “Excuse me?”

I was on my back and trying to get up, but before I had the chance, he shoved my skirt around my hips. Then, I knew exactly what Gabe meant as he didn’t even undress me. Gabe tugged on my panties with his teeth and said, “You heard me!”

His head moved quickly in between my legs, showing his expertise. He ripped my thongs; his tongue was in my pussy. I didn’t need to ask what he meant as it felt as if electricity was sending waves of pleasure sizzling through me.

This time I wasn’t holding my head up, but enjoying his tongue as it started to work the length of me, caressing my dripping opening with long, soft strokes and slipping in occasionally, hard and strong.

“You’re just as delicious as I’d imagined,” he growled as I tried to recover from his touch. I didn’t want him to stop as I started to grind myself against him.

  “Yes!”

I screamed out as I felt as if I was coming apart at the seams. It was as if every stroke and lick were bringing me closer to my climax. I didn’t think that I could hold on any longer. I was trying to control myself, so I reached out to take his head in my hands, he pulled away as he seized my wrists.

“No hands. Your pleasure is mine to control. All mine and this is just stage one. It’s a little taste of things to come,” he growled as he brought one finger down and slid it inside of me. He stroked my clit while his tongue began licking a delicate figure eight across my crying bud. I writhed against the sheet as my muscles tensed, preparing for that explosion that would tear through me.

“Fuck!” I cried as I came. I rocked against him screaming as if I was raised in a brothel. I was shouting so many obscenities that I almost scared myself. I started to regain my senses and my breath, while the emptiness occurred between my legs. I wanted him to join me. I was still dressed for the office, as I raised my head to watch him, but then I flopped back on the bed again with a big grin on my face.

“Jasmine, I hope you enjoyed yourself. Freshen up. Get back to the office.”

Then he looked at his watch and said, “You have twenty minutes until the meeting starts and I need you to take notes.”

I waited for him to smile or at least not act so coldly. I lifted my head until he walked out of the door. The one that I was standing in front of only a few minutes ago. I felt like a naughty girl, and I should have been ashamed because of what had just happened, but I felt the complete opposite. He’d made me come in ways that I never knew was possible and it felt sinfully good.

  Chapter 5

  Gabe

I left Jasmine feeling in high spirits. But that only lasted until I got out of the hotel and my phone rang in my pocket and I pulled it out to see the number. I rolled my eyes as I picked up the call and placed the phone against my ear.

“Yes, dad?” I drawled, not at all happy to be talking to my old man so early in the morning, walking slowly as we talked.

“Gabe, where are you,” came his sharp, cold voice. “Are you in the office already?”

“I’m on my way actually,” I said. I couldn’t exactly admit that I made it there and left to fuck the secretary. “What did you need?”

“I just wanted to check in and see if everything was all right.”

I rolled my eyes. “Dad, I’m not a kid anymore, I think I can handle myself.”

“I don’t care about you handling yourself,” he growled. “I care about your green ass handling the company.”

“I know I don’t have your years of experience, but it was always the plan to have me take over the company. The fuck do you think I’ve been doing for the past couple decades, old man? I may be new to this, but I’m not so hopeless that I need you to hold my hand through it.”

Not that he even could. He was still under investigation, after all, though he was lucky he hadn’t been thrown in jail yet with how careless he’d been.

Besides, what room did he have to talk, considering he was the reason for the position we were currently in? I wasn’t supposed to take over until he was ready to retire, and I’d believed I would have to pry his old bones off his CEO seat before that happened.

Then shit happened, and he either gave up his position and got arrested or relaxed at home and let me take care of things before everything went to shit, even more than it had already.

“We’re still in deep shit, kid, so you need to be fucking careful. No doing any stupid shit, you hear me?”

I sneered, irritated that he wasn’t even there to see it,
and it was heavy in my voice when I muttered, “Whose fault do you think all this shit is, anyway. I’ve been nice about not asking any questions, dad, but don’t think that makes everything okay.”

He was silent for a moment, and when he spoke, his voice was low and gravelly as he warned, “You will watch how you speak to me, boy. This isn’t another one of your games, Gabe; this is our family’s name and legacy. You will not be careless with this, or you will regret it.”

I tightened my lips, my free hand fisting in my pocket. “Of course, Dad,” I muttered and hung up.

I put my phone away and looked up to see how close I was to the office. I rushed my way inside, cursing myself, knowing it was way past time that I was supposed to be there. I’d let myself get side tracked. I already knew the family wasn’t out of the woods yet, and I was careless because of a pretty face.

That had to stop, or I might just make worse what my dad had already ruined, and my family didn’t need that.

Jasmine wasn’t there when I arrived back at the office. It was expected, but I’d left her at the hotel, after all, but I needed to speak to someone. Thankfully, I had been paying attention when my dad groomed me to take his position, so when I got to my office, I sat behind my desk and used the office phone to call for an emergency meeting.

There was a conference room a few rooms down from my door, and I went there to wait for everyone else. They trickled in quickly, and I stayed seated at the head of the table as I waited for everyone to get inside. Once all the department heads in the company were inside the room, it was closed, and I stood up.

“Good morning everyone,” I started, keeping blunt and to the point. “As you all know, I’ll be taking over the running of the company from now on, my name is Gabe, for those of you that don’t know me. Does anyone have any questions before we start?”
