Though, when Luke arrived, she invited him into her apartment. “I need to show you this.” Stepping inside, there were rose petals strewn throughout. “Have you ever seen anything like this before?” she asked.
“No, I haven’t,” Luke confessed.
“It was the sign I asked for,” she declared, having secretly indicated to Aimee previously that she always wanted rose petals at her wedding. Then, she knew that Luke was chosen as her forever one, although it took until now for her to come to know this. Actually, it took an angel she realized as Luke gently took her hand to escort her over the slippery ice to his car.
