Taylor looked at them in surprise. Faith and Brook had apparently given up and gone downstairs much to the older girls’ relief. Emily said quietly, “We need to go talk about this and figure out what we’re going to do.”
Pointing at the bathroom behind them, Taylor asked, “Do you mind if I go first? You were in there awhile.”
The other two girls chuckled and moved out of the brunette’s way.
“Emily,” the girl’s mother called up the steps sounding ready to lecture.
“Man, your sister’s a pest,” Katie complained as the two girls moved towards the stairs.
