Oh my god. Winston eased off and climbed onto the mattress. He pulled her over, sliding up next to her and wrapping his body around her. James did the same, turning to the side and nestling his face against hers. Her bones and muscles and brain were jelly. Rubbery, jiggly jelly. But she’d never been more alive. Satisfied. In love.
Winston gave her a squeeze and kissed her ear. “Are you okay?”
“Mmm-hmm.”
James trailed a finger down her arm. “You mean it?”
She nodded through the haze. “I’m lying on a huge bed, snuggled up with the two best men to ever walk into my life. I’m not just okay. I’m happy.”
EPILOGUE
SIX MONTHS LATER
“You totally kicked your ball. You can’t do that! It’s cheating!” Miranda stuck her lip out in a pout and Winston shrugged.
“What can I say? I’m desperate. James won the last four holes.”
“Then you shouldn’t have made the bet. Just because we’re at Randall’s, doesn’t mean you need to make it a contest.”
“Of course it does. It just doesn’t have to be a fair one.”
“Oh, no.” James waggled his putter at him. “We’re playing by the rules, Winston.”
“How about a sympathy kiss, then? I’m beginning to forget what your lips taste like.”
“You are not. You kiss them every chance you get.”
“Not today, he’s not. Sorry, my man. If you can’t win, she’s all mine this afternoon.” James grinned and Miranda couldn’t help but laugh.
The last six months of her life had been incredible. From packaging engineer living in a shoebox of an apartment, to the girlfriend of two billionaires. Flying to Paris on a whim. Diving into the ocean outside James’s house at midnight. Spending every night wrapped up in their arms. It was crazy. Wonderful. Perfect.
Winston picked up his ball and put it back where it should have been. “Then I call dibs on tonight. Get ready, honey. Because I’m kissing every single inch of you when we get home.”
Miranda grinned and color spread up her cheeks. Winston would never stop making her blush. “How about the next hole, double or nothing? If you win, you get two kisses right now.”
“And if I lose?”
“James gets me all to himself tonight.”
Winston smirked and raised an eyebrow. “What if it’s a tie?”
Miranda glanced at James and back at Winston. “Then I guess you two will just have to share. You can handle that, right?”
