Wanting Winter Page 8

“Thank you. You look really good too.” He sits on the couch and I follow suit, my dress riding up my thigh, and his eyes go to my legs before looking away.

I feel like laughing at him for his adorableness. “You looking forward to tonight?”

He nods his head. I take hold of his hand giving it a squeeze, and his eyes go towards our hands.

“You can relax. Please relax around me.”

He looks up into my eyes, really looking at me, and smiles. “I’ll try.”

  Trent

I am putting on my shirt when there is a knock on the door and Candice walks in before I have a chance to answer. I look at her, wearing a so-called dress that looks like a small piece of material. “What are you doing in my home? Where’s Winter?” I say angrily.

Her eyes look at my body.

I start buttoning up my shirt, but she saunters over, stopping my movements, her hands going on my bared chest. “You really do have an amazing body. It’s a good thing I have you on tap.” She licks her lips. “Winter is starting to have second thoughts about you. You really don’t know how to act normal do you?” She trails her nails down my abs.

“What do you mean she is having second thoughts?”

“She knows something isn’t right as you went from fucking her brains out to hardly touching her. I guess it doesn’t help me putting ideas in her head that she may be shit in bed.” She looks up at me from under fluttering eyelashes.

I push her away steeping back. “You said what? What the fuck do you think you are playing at?” I almost roar out.

“Why aren’t you sleeping with her? You want to keep the memory of me in your head a little longer?” she says kissing my neck. “Plus, if she does end things with you, just think, you would be free from me. It does work out either way.” She steps back walking towards my bed taking a seat, crossing her legs.

“I am getting myself checked as I was an idiot for not wearing protection with you. You fuck anything that moves so I don’t want to put any diseases on Winter; she doesn’t deserve that,” I spew out.

“Do you really think I don’t get checked out? You are the first guy I have ever let go bareback with me. You can talk, talking about me fucking with just anyone; you just screw girls without a second thought, and right now, you are fucking with your girlfriend’s best friend, so it doesn’t say much for you.” She stands and comes back over to me. “You are going to fuck me tonight.” I open my mouth to interrupt her, but she covers my mouth with her hand. “You can wear protection, but it’s going to happen. When I say when, be ready.” She stands on her tiptoes and kisses my cheek. “You better wipe my lipstick mark away, we don’t want Winter to get any more ideas,” she says and leaves.

I stand there with a knot in my stomach.

I knew this would happen once she mentioned going out tonight. She is going to make me fuck her with Winter being close by.

I am going to have to get very drunk tonight—so drunk that I won’t remember a thing.

  Winter

Candice bounces back in the living room sitting on my lap causing me to yelp because of her bony ass. “I hope you’re comfortable,” I tease.

“I am actually. Trent is almost ready,” she says, and I nod.

After a few minutes, Trent walks into the room and his eyes go to Candice sitting on me. He heads to the kitchen without saying a word and brings out a bottle of tequila. “Who wants a shot?” he asks, bringing a few shot glasses with him.

“I will,” Drake says. Trent lines up the shot glasses, pouring each of us a shot even though Candice and I haven’t asked for one. “We not having salt and lemon?”

“Salt and lemon are for pussies.” Trent downs his shot and pours himself another, downing that one too.

“I would like salt and lemon,” I say. I think I will throw up if I have to take it straight.

“I’ll go and get us some.” Drake stands heading back to the kitchen.

“Well at this rate, I won’t be getting any if he’s going to get drunk,” I whisper to Candice who is staring at Trent. “It’s probably why he’s being like this,” I say when Trent does another shot and stands.

Drake comes in with a small plate of lemon wedges and salt. Candice, Drake and I do a shot and my face scrunches up from the acidy taste.

Trent chuckles, looking at me. “Come here.”

I stand up going to him. He is sitting on the floor near the coffee table, and I sit on his lap and his arms wrap around me.

“I’ve missed you,” he says, kissing my neck.

“I’ve missed you too,” I say in a small voice.

“You look and smell so good.” He trails his nose up and down my neck, inhaling me. “I love that you smell like apples.” He winks at me, causing me to blush. Apples is what he says my juices taste like.

I look to Candice and Drake and they are both looking at us. “I think we should head to the club.” I smile at him. “Before we give our friends a show.”

He presses his forehead to mine. His eyes looking deeply into mine. “Maybe they should get a show; they would get to see how much I want you, how much I need you.” He kisses my nose.

“You want our friends to watch us make out?” I shake my head at him.

“They have seen it plenty of times. I am sure Drake has heard us fuck behind closed doors.” I look to Drake and he is looking at his hands. “You guys wouldn’t mind if I kissed my girlfriend quickly before heading out?” he asks them.

“You don’t need to ask our permission to kiss your girl,” Drake says.

“Yeah, my girl,” Trent repeats, smiling at me.

“Like what Drake said: if you want to kiss your girlfriend, you can.”

I turn to Candice noticing her voice went a pitch higher at the end of her sentence, but I don’t get a chance to say anything as Trent takes hold of my face kissing me hard. He pulls me into him, kissing me hungrily. His hands glide down my arms, taking hold of my wrists and putting them around his neck. He pulls me in more, our bodies pressing against each other, and I grip onto his hair deepening the kiss.

I want to show him that I can be good, that all he has to do is tell me what he wants, and I will do it. I want him to sexually want me. I pull back, his eyes finding mine. They have got dark—dark promises he wants to make to me.

They go out like a light when we hear Candice clearing her throat. “Now that you two sucked face, can we go party?”

I stand up, Trent shaking his head before standing next to me. I face Drake, who once again won’t look at me, even though I thought I was finally getting somewhere with him.

I look at Candice giving her an apologetic look. “Sorry. I guess it got a little heated,” I say to both her and Drake.

“It looked hot, but if I wanted to watch couples make out I would do it at the club. Let’s go get our groove on.” She links her arm through mine, guiding me away from the guys as we go down the stairs. “Least you know he still wants you,” she whispers in my ear.

“Yeah, but he won’t have sex with me. If he doesn’t screw me by Monday, I am going to confront him. I am going to say fuck me or else,” I say matter of factually.

What is the point of having a boyfriend if you don’t get the goodies?

“Or else what?” she asks me.

“I haven’t got that far yet, but he needs to fuck me, that’s all I’m saying.”

She looks behind her then faces forward again. “I bet he will.”

“We will see,” I say. I spot our cab waiting that Candice pre-booked.

“I need the window seat,” Candice says when we are in front of the cab. “I don’t want to sit next to the driver, especially dressed like this.” She trails her hands down her body.

“I’ll get in the front,” Drake says opening the door and climbing in.

“Trent, you go in the middle as you have long legs.” Candice tells him.

I climb in with Trent right behind me then Candice. Trent has to open his legs on either side
of us. He takes hold of my hand and I start to look out the window.

“Oh shit, Winter I forgot to tell you.” Candice leans over Trent’s legs. “You know Rita in my business class? She went and slept with her boyfriend’s brother.”

I open my mouth in shock. Rita was quiet and sweet, and she didn’t seem the type. “Holy shit, no?”

  Trent

Both Winter and Candice lean over my legs, so they can talk between themselves about a girl cheating on her boyfriend with his brother. I am sure Candice waited to tell her this piece of gossip with me being present.

“Yeah. The boyfriend caught them at it, at the brother’s place. They were in the middle of the act, too,” Candice says leaning more towards Winter. It's then that I feel her hand squeezing my leg.

“Rita is sweet too. To do it with your boyfriend's brother.” Winter shakes her head. “I say men are the assholes, no offense sweetie,” she says to me before continuing, “but I guess women can be bitches too. They do say it’s always the quiet ones.”

“It will be all over school by tomorrow,” Candice says moving her body so her hand is closer to my thigh.

“I would die off if that were me. I feel so bad for the boyfriend though. Bet he is heartbroken, knowing that the person he cares for or even loves was sleeping with someone else behind his back, especially someone that close to him as well.” Winter says.

I feel my body tense up. Candice must have noticed as she gives me a look.

“I guess some people just give in to their urges.” Candice shrugs.

I hate that they are talking about cheating knowing Candice is wanting to sleep with me later at the club.

“It’s no excuse. If you don’t want to be with someone, end it. Don’t string them along. It’s just cruel,” Winter says with a strong voice.

“What if the person is torn between two people and doesn’t want to let either one go?” Candice asks, and I try and not glare at her.

“She needs to make a choice, she can’t have both worlds, especially if one of the guys doesn’t know about the other. I just know if it were me being cheated on, my heart would break; something like that changes a person.” She looks at me giving me a warm smile, and I feel like telling her the truth right here and now.

  Secrets always come out.

I open my mouth to say something when Candice talks over me. “Good thing it won’t happen to you, good thing you don’t have a sister,” she jokes.

“Yeah, good thing. If you went with my sister—if I had one—I would cut your dick off,” Winter laughs with Candice joining in, and I just shake my head.

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.

“What is it with you and chopping men’s bits off.” Drake turns around. “I never want to get on the wrong side of you.”

“Yeah be careful: you don’t want me near your bits.” Winter winks at him causing him to turn back around almost giving himself whiplash.

“Stop teasing him,” I whisper to her.

“Sorry I can’t help it,” she whispers back.

“What’s going on?” Candice whispers, leaning in closer.

“Drake has a little crush on me,” Winter tells her.

“You are just telling me that now?” They both look at him, but he’s facing forward.

“That is so cute. I should have clicked sooner. He does look good tonight though.” Candice checks him out.

“He does; I told him he should keep his hair like that—makes him look hotter,” Winter says.

  “I agree.”

“Why do you want my friend to look hotter?” I ask her.

She shrugs. “I was just giving my opinion. Hopefully, he will get some tonight.”

“Yeah. If you can get fucked tonight, why not?” Candice winks at me and I look at Winter, who is looking out of the window.

I just want to get out of this cab and let this night hurry up and end.

  Ten

  Winter

When we arrive at the club, Trent can’t get out of the cab fast enough. I am sure with little leg space and Candice and I basically squeezing him while we talked wasn’t fun for him. He pulls me to his side while we walk towards the club and when I notice who the security is at the door, I smile. The line is a mile long and I am not in the mood to be waiting outside to get in.

“I’ll be right back,” I tell Trent, and head to the security guy before he has a chance to respond.

When Eddy spots me, he beams, standing straighter. “There’s my beautiful girl; don’t you look yummy,” he says checking out my dress. “Haven’t seen you for a while.”

Eddy is in my yoga class. He has mocha colored skin, a shaved head with big dark brown eyes. He is well built and attractive, but he is one guy I don’t have to worry about hitting on me.

“I know, just been too busy with classes; you know how it is. How you been?”

“The same old. You look like you are glowing—it’s a good look on you. Where’s your sidekick?” He smirks at me.

“I am no one’s sidekick,” Candice says, obviously overhearing our conversation.

“If you say so. Do I get a kiss or what?” I lean forward pecking his lips when I feel hands wrap around my waist. Eddy looks at Trent behind me.

“Winter are you going to introduce me to your friend?” Trent stands up straighter, and I roll my eyes.

“Eddy, this is Trent; Trent, this is Eddy.”

  “Trent, Winter’s boyfriend,” Trent adds.

Eddy smiles at me before covering it up. “Boyfriend? Well, you didn’t mention boyfriend when we made love the other night,” he jokes.

Trent sees red and comes in closer to Eddy. “You slept with my girl?” He growls.

“Trent, calm down: he was joking. He’s gay,” I tell him, pushing him away. Eddy laughs; I give him a look and he automatically stops. “Eddy that was mean,” I tell him.

“I am sorry, man; I saw you act all macho and I couldn’t resist. I have a fiancé who is a dude back at home, but if I wasn’t taken, I would give you a second look over.” Eddy trails his eyes over Trent’s body, and Trent stands back looking a little uncomfortable.

  “Sorry man,” Trent apologizes.

“It’s all good,” Eddy says with his hand out, which Trent claps hold of. “Why don’t you all head in before blondie here catches pneumonia,” he jokes—a joke that Candice just glares at.

“Thanks, Eddy; you’re the best.” I kiss his cheek.

“Careful. Don’t want your beau to think anything is going on,” he teases again, and Trent rubs the back of his neck. Eddy laughs as we head inside.

Club Nina is the most happening club in town. It is never too packed, hence the line outside. They don’t like the place being overcrowded. There are three floors: the first plays up-to-date music, the second is has dance music, and the third is cheesy, pop music—like Vengaboys and Nsync—which I love.

“Can we please go to floor three?” I beg everyone.

Candice rolls her eyes. “If we must.”

I jump up and down in glee. “What’s the third floor?” Drake asks.

“Pop music. Want to dance to the YMCA? That’s the floor to be on.” Candice laughs.

“The joys,” Trent says, teasingly tickling my sides and causing me to scream. I hit his chest and he blows me a kiss then winks at me before taking hold of my hand.

Once we hit the third floor, the first thing to hit us is the techno lights going around on the dancefloor. It is quite busy tonight. We head to the bar and a cute bartender with messy brown hair and brown eyes smiles when he sees me, and I inwardly groan. It’s is a guy who always flirts with me, and when I’ve have a drink in me, I usually always flirt back.

“Hey Winter; it’s good to see you. The usual?” He leans over smiling at me.

“Please. And two beers for the guys.” I point to Trent and Drake. Chuck, the bartender nods, checking them out before he goes and starts making us our drinks.

“Please tell me he is gay too,”
Trent asks.

“Hell no. He has a thing for our girl; he used to give her free drinks, but I guess that will be over now that she’s with you,” Candice says cheerfully.

“Does every guy who meets you want you?” he asks me.

“Candice is exaggerating.” I say shyly. He rubs his forehead. “You really don’t see it, do you?”

  “See what?”

He pulls me into him. “How beautiful you are, but seeing how these guys look at you like they want to eat you alive like you’re their prey; it drives me nuts.”

I kiss his nose. “I am with you. You can fully trust me like I trust you. No one will ever turn my head. You have nothing to worry about.”

He sighs, looking behind me before looking at me again and hugging me. “I know I can trust you: you are one of the good ones. I still don’t like how men look at you, though,” he adds.

I laugh. “Women look at you too don’t forget.”

“Yeah, put a little trust in her; she is a good girl, after all,” Candice says, coming to my side and putting her arm around my shoulder. “Too bad that I won’t get any kisses anymore. I’ll miss them,” she teases me.

“Stop messing with Trent.” I tap her hand.

“No, I’m being serious. I liked kissing you. Kissing a girl is completely different than kissing a guy. Girls lips are softer; it's sweeter. I am going to miss that, unless your boyfriend will allow two friends to have a drunk kiss later.” Candice looks to Trent.

My mouth hangs open at what she is asking. She really wants to kiss me? I look at Trent and he is looking at us both.

“I guess as you are both friends, it won’t really mean anything will it?” he says in a defeated voice. I look at him, but it’s like he’s closed himself off.

“Well, unless Winter kisses me and confesses her undying love for me, you are safe.” Candice kisses my cheek and jumps up and down.

Drake speaks quietly to Trent, but I hear it. “That I will have to see.”
