Bear Seeking Bride: Travis: Page 6

Since Bree’s arrival, both men had shown him unconditional support, despite their feelings toward his decision to place an ad for a mail-order bride. They’d made his future mate feel welcome, and immediately accepted her as his finance, and their future sister-in-law.

He’d been proud of both men, but especially Trent. He knew his brother hated to admit defeat, but he liked Sabrina. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have stopped her from running out of his life. He hoped one day the man would find peace, and welcome another into his heart.

Sabrina snuggled closer and he kissed her on the forehead.

When they’d arrived at the hotel earlier in the evening, he’d initially been worried when she’d immediately asked for time alone. Luckily, when she’d closed herself in the bathroom, he’d been able to push the negative thoughts away.

They were married now. She belonged to him, and her well-being outranked his, despite the semi-hard state he’d been in since the judge told him he could kiss her. If she needed some time alone before their mating, he would give it to her.

He’d decided to relax, and drifted off to sleep while he waited. He’d stirred when she joined him in the chair, and all thought diminished when he’d opened his eyes and seen the lacy, white lingerie.

He hadn’t lied when he’d told her he thought fate had a hand in bringing them together. He’d never written an ad for a bride before, yet something had pushed him to complete the task. Sabrina had never answered an ad before, yet she’d found his compelling enough to consider it.

Hers was the only response he’d received, and when they met, he could barely contain his lust. During their first date, her smart, sexy, and sensual personality had won him over, and he’d known, without a doubt, no one else would complete him in the same way.

They were destined to be together.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulled her closer, and closed his eyes.

Morning would come sooner than later, and he had a wife to take care of.
