She shivered and then jerked as hands landed on her shoulders.

“Hey, you’re safe,” Carlos said to her. She reached up and covered his hand but lowered her eyes to avoid Turbo’s and Harley’s. She didn’t need more questions. She was a stronger woman now, and one a bit more trained than over a year ago. She still didn’t carry a gun, but she did carry a stiletto, and she knew how to use it. The thing was that, even after the training and the building of confidence during those months in Rome, why did she feel so scared when faced with Puento’s antics? If the man did show his face and physically confront her, perhaps she wouldn’t be as strong as she hoped she would be. Maybe staying under guard, losing some of the freedom she had in life, was the only answer.

“And what do you get from doing this?” Montego asked Puento.

Puento smiled and ran his finger along the rim of the glass of tequila.

“I get to break her down. Make her see that she is nothing without me. Not really protected. Not secure, and also not free. She belongs to me.”

“Wait. You don’t seriously think that you can pull all of this shit off, and get the girl, too?” Montego asked. He released a trail of smoke from the cigar he was puffing on, his smirk making Puento stare at him.

“Not only will I get the girl. I will have pulled off what you and the others thought was impossible.”

  Montego shook his head.

“You have balls of steel, my friend, balls of steel. I have your back. Whatever you need from me and the others, we will provide.”

Puento nodded and looked out toward the Hudson River. It was killing him inside to not have touched her tonight, to not have inhaled her shampoo, or to have felt her luscious curves. He wanted to explore her body, claim her, tie her to the bed, and mark her once again. The months she was away, he thought about the men he thought she had been with, but his people said they saw her with no one. She never took a man home or accompanied one home. It seemed to him that she knew it wouldn’t be smart to be with anyone else, that he owned her, that it would be his hands and his mouth that explored every inch of her body, that he would know about the tattoo along her hip that dipped to her groin, and that light couple of freckles along her other side near her pussy, which she kept bare and soft as he liked it. Guaranteed she still did that despite not having sex with another man after him.

He was losing his patience, but there was more time to wait, to plan and strike accordingly. When it was time, he would have her, and in between he would be sure she didn’t stray, would make certain she knew he was watching and nearby, and would guarantee there would be no other men until he was ready to take her away and make her his woman forever.

“Are you certain that you’re okay and want to stay there? You’re more than welcome to stay here with us,” Bella said to Rayanna over the phone.

“Don’t be silly. I’m fine, really. Besides, my cousins have multiple men guarding the place as a precaution, although it isn’t necessary.”

“How can you say that when that maniac broke into your apartment and left you things?”

“First of all, he didn’t break in, and second, his MO is to now disappear for another couple of weeks or months. I know he is playing games with me. He knows the moment he tries to get closer, to touch me or try to grab me, that it’s all over. He likes to scare me, Bella.”

Bella’s heart pounded inside of her chest.

“That’s crazy. How can you be sure?”

  “I just am sure.”

“What does he get out of scaring you, out of making the police, the detectives, and now your family look for him?”

“He likes it and thinks he’s in control. It’s all about control. Listen, I don’t really want to talk about him. I don’t want to give him this power over me. But guess what?” Rayanna asked her.

Bella knew Rayanna was changing the subject. She stuck her legs under her rear on the couch and listened. “What?”

“Carrie called me. She asked me if I was available to help out with a fashion show in Chicago in a few days. I’m thinking, even though it’s something I haven’t done in years, that maybe it’s a good way to break out of town for a week or so. You know, disappear.”

“I guess that would be a good idea as long as Carlos was with you. Did you speak to any of your cousins?” Bella asked. She knew that Mateus and Major were in the other room on the phone with Fedarro and Collin.

“Not yet. I figured you could put one of them on the line after we talked. So what do you think? Cool or what?”

“I guess if you miss being a grunt and running around backstage with those stuck-up thin models. God, I hated their attitudes.”

“I won’t be a grunt, silly. I’ll be helping ensure each model is presented the way the designer intended, who, by the way, is Jaque Bennire.”

“Jaque Bennire? Oh my God, you lucky little witch,” Bella said.

  Rayanna chuckled.

“You have to go,” she said and looked up to see Major and Mateus coming into the room. They squinted at her, obviously hearing her outburst.

“Hold on, here is Mateus.” Bella handed him the phone.

“What was that all about?” Major asked Bella. He lifted her into his arms and placed her on his lap. Major smoothed the palms of his hands up her thighs and under the short skirt she was wearing.

His eyes widened as he reached her hips and realized she wasn’t wearing any panties. The dark, hungry look in his eyes made her feel aroused and wet. That was exactly why she wore no panties. She wanted to drive both men insane. They were always so cool and calm but intense. They were demanding, and she complied. Now this was her way of making them lose control.

“You went out of the penthouse like this today?”

“Yup.” She lied and pretended to be embarrassed.

She heard Mateus ending the call, saying that the right security needed to be arranged. Lucky Rayanna was going to Chicago and Jaque Bennire’s fashion show.

“Mateus, it appears that Bella needs some new training,” Major told him and gripped her hips tightly.

“New training?” Mateus asked and stood behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders and massaged them, then lowered his hands down the front, and cupped her breasts.

She closed her eyes and moaned.

“Guess who isn’t wearing any panties, and apparently went out today all day like this,” Major said. He pushed her skirt to her hips.

Mateus tightened his fingers on her nipples. “What?” he asked through clenched teeth.

She hid her smile. She loved when they got all demanding and even spanked her. Her pussy was already wet.

“Well, it’s your faults. You left me all day today when you promised we would at least do lunch. I was bored,” she teased.

“Oh, we can think of a few things to keep you busy so you’re not bored like this again.”

Major stood with her in his arms. She gasped, and then he adjusted her over his shoulder as he lifted her skirt. Mateus smacked her ass hard.

  “Mateus!”

“One ass spanking coming up from both of us. I hope your little game was worth it, honey.” Mateus rubbed his hands together.

Then Major pressed a finger up into her pussy.

“Damn, she is fucking wet. I think our woman is pissing us off on purpose,” Major said and laid her on the bed.

“Oh really? Well, in that case, it’s time to take things up a notch,” Mateus said firmly.

Major undressed her so she was bare and lying on her back. He pressed her arms above her head and began to feast on her breasts. She wiggled her hips, moaning into his mouth, anticipating the feel of him inside of her. Of both her men taking her. She felt the silk fabric being wrapped around her wrists. She opened her eyes and looked up. Mateus’s long, thick cock was inches from her lips, and he was tying her wrists together and attaching them to a silver ring at the top of the bed. Her heart began to pound faster, and she felt a lit
tle unsure as Major slid down her body, licking and sucking her skin and then her clit. She moaned and heard the sound of something smacking hard against Mateus’s hand. She looked at him and the small leather straps of some kind of whip.

  “One spanking each coming up.”

Major gripped her hips and turned her onto her belly. The device at the top of the bed allowed them to do so without getting tangled up. One look at Mateus and that scolding expression and she knew she was in over her head.

  “Mateus.”

“Maybe next time you’ll think twice about going out that door without panties on,” Mateus said.

She felt the first strike to her ass and was surprised that it didn’t sting at all. In fact, it aroused her, especially as he trailed those long leather strips along her crack and up her back. By the fourth strike she was moaning and thrusting her hips against the mattress.

“Holy shit, she loves it.” Major spanked her with his hand.

  She moaned again.

“Just when we thought we couldn’t love her any more than we already do.” Mateus leaned down and kissed her cheek. He held her gaze.

  “More, sweet angel?” he asked.

Her heart warmed. “Bring it on, lovers. Bring it on.” She closed her eyes and relished the sensations, knowing that life with her two lovers was never going to be boring but, instead, would be filled with excitement and nights like this one, where they would make her come again and again and cause her to love them even more.

  Chapter 1

“How the fuck can this happen?” Mateus asked Fedarro. They, Collin, Major, Angelo, Vito, and Morano were gathered in the office at Bloodline Securities.

“I don’t know, but these little fuckups cannot be dismissed any longer. If we keep blaming them on incompetence, then those small problems will get bigger,” Fedarro said to them.

Mateus nodded. “Agreed. Let’s put some men on it, ones we can trust,” he added.

“I think we need outsiders we can trust,” Collin said and looked at Fedarro, who nodded.

“Who do you have in mind?” Major asked, and Mateus squinted at them.

“Vinny and Sunny Costanza,” Fedarro told them.

  Mateus was surprised. “Really?”

“Yes, this seems to be affecting them, too. Sunny gave us a call yesterday and informed us that an entire shipment of theirs was taken. Just disappeared. The same thing happened to us and our shipment the same day. Coincidence? I think not. We have to figure this shit out and fast. We may or may not have an opportunity to share in a deal out in Chicago. The owners of Pro Scape Industries are looking to subcontract a few special jobs out. They need clean faces, men who can deal with specialized situations and who are nonmilitary,” Fedarro told them.

“The Russians and Ukrainians? Are you nuts? That’s Nicolai Merkovicz’s operation,” Major said to Fedarro.

“I know, but over the years we’ve done small business together as our paths crossed, and it all worked well. These are subjobs. Anything more we get out of this we ask permission for, just like Nicolai Merkovicz lets us know when he has operations here in New York. It’s smart business to have the Russians on our side and inevitable to avoid as the Fiorre family monopoly expands,” Fedarro told them.

“Okay, whatever you need. Do you want us to meet with Sunny and Vinny to discuss things?” Mateus asked.

“Yes. I want the two of you to stay on top of communications. Now, let’s discuss this situation with Yanna. We can’t find shit on Puento Guzmon,” Fedarro told them.

“I know. We’ve been digging for months now and nothing. It’s like the fucking guy never existed, but we know he did,” Mateus told them.

“I don’t like it. It’s one thing if the man is stalking her because he wants Yanna back. She never did explain exactly what caused her to break things off but, instead, left for Rome for months. Perhaps if we talk to her more about that, we can get to the bottom of things and have more to work with,” Collin said to them.

“I agree that there was probably more she didn’t tell us. I don’t like the idea that she held back. I’m not sure pushing her for more intimate details will make things better. She’s leaving shortly for a job in Chicago, which is a good thing. She was pretty shaken up over the break-in at the apartment,” Major said to them.

“I still don’t understand how he did that. Nothing was broken. It was like he not only had a key but also evaded the cameras,” Mateus said.

“He could have had a means to alter those cameras. Like we’ve been saying, the man seems resourceful and like a ghost. He appears and disappears instantaneously,” Collin said.

“Turbo and Harley are looking deeper. They also interviewed the people in the cleaning service and all security personnel who were working in those forty-eight hours prior to the break-in,” Mateus told them.

“What about the detectives working the case?” Collin asked.

“Not much help. Harley said that they questioned Yanna and asked stupid questions like she may be egging Puento on. It pissed Harley and Turbo off big time.”

“Fucking cops. They probably won’t be any help,” Collin added.

“We thought they would be of some assistance. It doesn’t matter. We’re all going to try and find this asshole and end this shit. Carlos will be with Rayanna in Chicago,” Mateus said.

“Although he isn’t thrilled about it,” Major said.

  “Why not?” Fedarro asked.

“It’s a fashion show, and Yanna is helping backstage,” Major said and chuckled.

“Well, at least the scenery will be good for him,” Fedarro added, and they laughed.

“Make sure Yanna checks in with us, okay?” Fedarro said to Mateus.

“Already went over things with her. I just hope we can find this guy. She sounded scared, which only leads me to believe that this guy gets to her.”

Fedarro narrowed his eyes at Mateus. “Then we need to do whatever is necessary to find him and eliminate that fear for good.”

Mateus nodded. They were all in agreement. Now they had to wait for a break in finding Puento so it would all be over.

  * * * *

“You seem distracted,” Giada said to Rayanna, and Bella gave her Rayanna a sympathetic smile.

“I’m okay. Just thinking about packing for Chicago and doing this show. I’m wondering if it will be as much fun as I want it to be.” She took a sip of her white wine, looking around Club X.

“You’ve done this before, though, right?” Giada asked her.

Bella chuckled and so did Rayanna. “Oh yeah, Bella and I had our share of working backstage at fashion shows and dealing with the chaos,” Rayanna said to Giada.

“Sounds like you don’t miss it, so why reminisce?” Giada asked.

“It’s not like I’ll be a grunt or anything. I get to make sure the models are wearing the designer’s clothing according to his specifications.”

“Who is the designer, anyway?” Giada asked.

  Bella and Rayanna smiled.

  “Jaque Bennire.”

“Oh my God. You are so lucky,” Giada stated. Then her gaze locked onto someone behind them, and she quickly looked away.

Rayanna was about to turn around when she saw Dominic Coglonie, one of the owners of Club X, appear.

“Good evening, ladies. Are we enjoying the music tonight?” he asked.

Rayanna noticed his gaze go directly to Giada.

“Are you kidding? Of course we are, Dominic. How are you tonight?”

“I’m well, Rayanna. Thank you for asking.”

Bella seemed to notice that Giada shyly looked away from him but then glanced back.

“Would you like to join us for a drink, or are you too busy?” Bella asked.

“I’m in the middle of something right now and looking for Andreas and Giuseppe. Perhaps later on,” he said, stared at Giada, and winked at her.

“Enjoy,” he said before walking away.

Giada exhaled, lifted her glass of wine, an
d downed the rest. Rayanna looked at Bella, and they both chuckled.

“So, what’s the deal, Giada?” Bella asked her. One of the bartenders came over with another round of wine for them.

“Compliments of Dominic,” he said to them and then walked back to the bar.

  “Oh boy,” Bella said.

“Spit it out,” Rayanna said to her.

“Spit what out?” Giada asked them.

“Oh, come on. You were a complete mute when Dominic approached, his eyes never left you even though you avoided his gaze as much as you could, and the mention of Andreas and Giuseppe made your cheeks turn a nice shade of red,” Bella said, pushing.

“Why the hell do you think I was quiet? He’s a made man. A pretty powerful one and into things I don’t even want to know about. Not just clubs and liquor sales and stuff, and I’ve seen how those men act. All possessive and like if they set their eyes on you and you just smile, it’s like they own you, or have staked a claim. No, not me. I’m twenty-four years old.” She took a sip from her wine.

“So which one of them did you fool around with?” Rayanna asked, and Bella gasped and then looked at Giada.

“Giada, really?” Bella asked. “When and who? All three?”

“No! Jesus, didn’t you just hear me? I’m not interested.”

“Honey, you are such a liar. Dominic is superhot. So are his brother and their cousin. I know they’re big and all, and you’re a petite little thing, but—”

“Who? Wait a minute. Back up, Rayanna. Their cousin?” Giada asked.

  “Yeah, Andreas.”

She covered her face with her hands.

“Oh God, I didn’t even know.”

“Oh, this sounds yummy. Do tell,” Bella said to her.

Giada nibbled on her nail, lowered her hand, and worried her bottom lip.

“I was here with Fina, Donata, Alessa, and Alda last weekend. Bella, your cousins Don, Clemenza, Alfredo, Toro, and some of their friends were here, too. We were drinking a lot, and Andreas appeared. Said that Dominic and Giuseppe were worried about me drinking too much, that some other guys by the end of the bar were saying shit. He wouldn’t expand, and he was my shadow all night. I was buzzed and went to the lady’s room, and when I came out, Andreas was there waiting. He stopped me by the hallway wall, reached out, and fixed my necklace that was tangled. Someone walked by, he pressed closer, and…”
