He got up and pulled Tina to her feet.
“We can’t tell her yet. It’s far too early.”
Ronan simply smiled.
“Of course we can. Besides, she’ll take one look at us and she’ll know anyway. Chin up, babe. You know you’ve been dying too hear the tale of how she met her Henry. Tonight’s the night she always tells it, because this is the night they met. I love hearing that tale, so move your butt, girl, or pregnant or not, you’ll earn yourself a spanking.”
“Can we still do that?” Tina asked, and Ronan laughed and swatted her ass slightly.
“You bet we can, babe, at least until you get to look like an elephant.”
Tina punched him in the belly and Ronan blocked the move and kissed her hand.
Damn the man, how could she stay mad at him now, not that she was really. He was right after all.
“And will you still love me when I’m the size of this elephant?” she asked.
“Always, babe.”
