“Someone try to contact Oscar, and if you are unable to contact him, then ask Julia or Emilia. They will definitely be able to contact him,” Rudolf said to the Law Enforcement Officials in the room. The Law Enforcement Officials in the room nodded their heads, and one of them left the room to complete the task.

“We can now only wait until then,” Nero said in a frustrated manner, but his facial expression changed, and instantly he turned into a blur before disappearing from the Meeting Room and appearing outside his Estate. It was not just him: everyone that had been present in the Meeting Room appeared outside his Estate and they looked up into the sky with disbelief.

A huge Teleportation portal had opened up there and four men stepped out of it. The most peculiar thing was the Teleportation portal itself, as it was not at all releasing any sort of spatial disturbance.

The only reason Nero and company were able to react so fast was due to the overwhelming presence of three of the four men who’d stepped out of it, which had been felt by them even before they’d stepped out of the Teleportation portal. If not for that, then Nero and company would never have realized that a Teleportation portal had opened so close to them and that too such a huge one.

Nero and company could recognize one of them, as he was none other than Oscar. The other three were Sheldon, Danr and Brian. They had come along with Oscar as that would make it easier for Nero and company to believe them.

But, Nero and company could naturally already guess the identities of the other three men due to their archaic auras, and that made them giddy deep down.

Finally, they didn’t have to fear Calamity Sect. They immediately flew towards them to greet them.

“Greetings Ancestors!” Nero and company said in unison, as they gave deep bows to Sheldon, Danr and Brian.

“I assume that the Main branches have already conveyed to you that my four companions and I will be their representatives until peace returns to Grandura? We three will represent the Main branch of Heaven Sundering Family Clan, while our other two companions will represent the Main branch of Eternity Family Clan,” Sheldon said with a slight smile on his face to Nero and Rudolf.

“We haven’t received an official confirmation yet,” Rudolf said in a respectful tone.

“You will be getting the confirmation soon. Don’t worry about it,” Sheldon said, still with an amiable smile on his face.

“You should leave for the Eternity Family Clan soon. Our companions should have already reached it by now, which might lead to unnecessary problems,” Danr said to Rudolf.

“I will leave at once,” Rudolf said in a respectful tone, as he along with the members of the Upper echelons of the Grandura branch of Eternity Family Clan left within a few minutes after opening a Teleportation portal to Eternity Family Clan.

It was not long after Rudolf and company left that hundreds of people including Cris, Shana and Blake stepped out of the same Teleportation portal from which Sheldon, Danr, Brian and Oscar had previously come. Most of them were the banished members of the Grandura branches of the Heaven Sundering Family Clan. Nero and companies were agape as they looked at them.

“Ancestor, they …?” Nero looked at Sheldon as he asked in a serious manner.

“Their banishments have been canceled by the Main branches. So, help them to reintegrate into the Family Clan again,” Sheldon said.

Nero and company just nodded their heads, but deep down they were very happy for them, as they themselves had felt they hadn’t deserved to be banished, but they’d had no choice in that matter.

As punishment in the Grandura branches of Heaven Sundering Family Clan and Eternity Family Clan was meted out according to laws drafted by the Founders before ascending to a Divine World, none of them had dared to object to their banishments previously. Nero and company quickly greeted them with open arms.

“Ancestors, shall I take you to the Residence of the Representatives?” Nero asked. Sheldon, Danr and Brian readily agreed and they left with Nero, while the formerly banished members left to meet their family members.

Many had not met them for thousands of years.

A similar sequence of events was occurring in the Grandura branch of Eternity Family Clan. Soon the news regarding Sheldon and his four companions spread throughout the entirety of both Family Clans, and caused a big uproar.

Nero and Rudolf declared ten days of celebrations to celebrate the returns of Sheldon and his four companions into their respective Clans.

It had already been eleven days since the returns of Sheldon, Danr and Brian to Heaven Sundering Family Clan. The festive atmosphere in Heavenly City had yet to die down even though the official celebrations had ended the previous day. So, the happiness of the people can be understood.

Sundering Valley had become even livelier than before. There were two reasons for that. The first and foremost was the presence of Sheldon, Danr and Brian there, who were hovering up in the sky as they looked at the screens with keen interest. The second reason was the appearance of Dark Star Ore.

Dark Star Ore is a Heavenly Treasure that is not found on Grandura. It comes from Outer space. If a little bit of this ore is fused with any Soul weapon then its grade goes up, and its sharpness and toughness also increase to an unprecedented level amongst the Soul weapons of a similar grade.

The majority of Martial Artists don’t change their Soul weapons, even after using them for a long period of time, until they are destroyed, as it is not easy to erase the Spirit link between them and their Soul weapons. If they forcefully erase the Spirit link, then their soul can be damaged. It is also not feasible to have too many Soul weapons, as a large number of Spirit links puts a lot of pressure on the soul of a Martial Artist, which, in turn, affects the power of its Soul attack to some extent. This small affect can sometimes decide the outcome in life and death situations.

Instead, Martial Artists have a blacksmith upgrade their Soul weapons as their own Cultivation Level increases. A lot of expensive ores and materials are required to upgrade a Soul weapon every single time, so the problem faced by Martial Artists for upgrading their Soul weapons can be understood.

Dark Star Ore is something which can easily increase the grade of Soul weapons, once it is fused with them, so how can participants with Soul weapons give up on it?

Dark Star Ore is also a Heavenly Treasure for Martial Artists who possess a Life Weapon, and some don’t even mind causing a massacre for it, as the power of their Life Weapon increases manyfold after fusing it with Dark star ore. The sharpness and toughness of the Life Weapon also increases by leaps and bounds.

The Dark Star Ore had appeared in a mountainous region of Raspite named Metallic Sheen Mountain Range and in very large quantities too. The quantity of Dark Star Ore even stunned Sheldon, Brian and Danr.

They themselves had never seen so much Dark Star Ore at one time.

The news of the appearance of the Dark Star Ore had already proliferated in every part of Raspite, because of which a majority of the participants had already arrived at Metallic Sheen Mountain Range. However, no one was able to claim any of it, as it was under the protection of a powerful Immortal creature whose actual Cultivation Level was at Late Immortal Saint Realm.

That creature was not something normal, and was known for its ferocious nature. It was a Metallic Hell Dragon, a Divine Elemental Beast of Death and Metal. It is a higher species of dragon, and they normally live in the Hell region of Divine Universe.

The number of Metallic Hell Dragons in the Treasure Space far exceeds the number of them on Grandura though there are numerous Elemental Beasts in Grandura that possess their bloodline in low concentrations. These Elemental Beasts can evolve into Metallic Hell Dragons if they are able to increase their bloodline purity.

The one in possession of the Dark Star Metal Ore had High-grade bloodline purity, but it was extremely unlucky to have been born in a caged environment. If not for that, then it would have already left for a Divine World millions of years ago, as it
had reached Late Immortal Beast Saint Realm long ago.

Many groups had tried to get hold of the Dark Star Metal Ore from the Metallic Hell Dragon’s clutches, but had failed terribly and had paid a very heavy price, even though its Cultivation Level was suppressed to Early Mortal Emperor Realm. Some groups had even been completely annihilated by it.

The Metallic Hell Dragon had powerful Innate Abilities and an extremely strong body, because of which none of the participants could harm it. It was akin to a battle tank that flattened anything that came onto its path.

Soon the participants started to lose interest in the Dark Star Ore except for one group and that was Raban’s group. Raban announced that he and his fellow group-members would attempt to get hold of the Dark Star Ore in two months’ time and invited other groups to join them. He even promised to share the Dark Star Ore equally with all the groups that joined them.

This initiative was the first of its kind. Earlier, no one had tried to call other groups for help as they’d wanted the entire Dark Star Ore for themselves.

Many people were enticed by Raban’s offer, as they knew that the chances of getting Dark Star Ore would increase manyfold, if a large number of groups were to work together. The size of the Dark Star Ore was enormous, which would allow every group that joined Raban to get enough ore for all its members. Quite a number of groups decided to join hands with Raban’s group.

Many people in Sundering Valley couldn’t help but commend Raban’s leadership.

There were also a certain number of groups that were thinking of gaining all the profits without doing anything. They had decided to steal the Dark Star Ore from the hands of Raban and company if they succeeded in getting it.

Yate’s group was amongst those. None of the participants except for Ryan knew that they were being watched so they showed their true colors without any reservation. Yate’s reputation took the worst hit and now the chances of him replacing Nero in future were quite slim. Yate’s true character was on full display. He was actively plotting to harm fellow Clan members which was something that didn’t go down well amongst the people present in Sundering Valley, including Sheldon, Danr and Brian.

All the higher-ups of the Second branch of Heaven Sundering Family Clan were severely punished for not inculcating good character in Yate as he was a rare Triple Martial Spirits holder, and could easily have become a powerhouse of Heaven Sundering family clan in future. The Law Enforcement Officials were asked to apprehend Yate the moment he exited the Treasure Space. It was clear from the mood of Nero and company that they wouldn’t let Yate off easily just because he was talented.

Time passed at lightning speed and it was already close to two months since Ryan had entered his Closed-door Cultivation session. The screen that was focused on him had showed just his Spatial Cultivation chamber and nothing else for the past two months. He hadn’t exited it even once, because of which people had stopped paying attention to his screen except for his family members. Many from the Senior generation couldn’t help but commend Ryan’s hardworking nature.

This year’s Divine Trials were very odd. Many Heavenly Treasures had surfaced in them within the past two months. Each one was better than the previous one: Dark Star Ore was just the start. These Heavenly Treasures caused a big commotion in Sundering Valley, and everyone present was envious of this year’s participants.

The Heavenly Treasures also started a big competition amongst the participants, but until now only a few of them had been acquired by the participants, as they were under the protection of powerful creatures just as the Dark Star Ore was, so acquiring them was not at all easy for the participants.

Ryan’s family was initially worried that he would miss out on all the good stuff, but seeing the condition of many of the participants that tried to get Heavenly Treasures, they were happy that he was in a Closed-door Cultivation session. Around half the total participants had already been ejected from the Treasure Space, and all of them had suffered severe injuries that would require months of bed-rest to completely recover from.

Some people like Raban still shone in these times irrespective of the situation. Raban group’s along with other groups that joined hands with his group were able to acquire three Heavenly Treasures which Raban distributed equally amongst the groups without any discrimination.

This made Raban’s name spread and many groups wanted to join hands with his. Raban was happy seeing this as he knew that if he was to get Dark Star Ore, then the number of people currently by his side was insufficient to deal with the Metallic Hell Dragon.

He was just waiting for the two month period to end before making a move to get the Dark Star Ore, as he was sure that by that time many more groups would be interested in joining hands with his group.

Raban had targeted other Heavenly Treasures just to test the strategies that he had created for dealing with the Metallic Hell Dragon. His confidence grew manyfold after they were able to acquire those three Heavenly Treasures.

The strategies that he had developed were more or less like playing hide-and-seek with the Metallic Hell Dragon in order to avoid a direct confrontation with it as that would be akin to suicide.

Raban possessed a Weapon-shaped Martial Spirit, so his desire for Dark Star Ore can be understood.

Many individuals followed Raban’s example and were able to make a number of groups join hands with their own after seeing the success of Raban and company. These individuals were also successful just like Raban.

The participants didn’t let the petty politics that generally strained the relations between different branches affect their coordination in any manner. Many people in Sundering Valley had complicated feelings as they watched the youngsters achieving the impossible by joining hands with each other.

Some felt guilty, while some felt remorse for their past actions which had affected their respective Family Clans in one way or another.

On Endless Divine World, Solomon had a big smile on his face as he saw all the participants cooperating with each other. That was what he’d wanted to see since the start of the Divine Trials and he didn’t mind giving away a few Heavenly Treasures as long as he got to see that result.

Solomon had noticed that his descendants on Grandura were not that caring for each other if they didn’t belong to the same branch, and he didn’t like that. So, he’d wanted to let them know the importance of unity. Solomon’s small scheme had actually made the members of the Grandura branches of both Family Clans think of the bigger picture. This didn’t just affect the mindset of the Younger generation, but even that of the Senior generation.

It had already been a few days since Solomon had saved Raizel and company, and everyone was happy that they were alive. Their selfless actions had won everyone’s heart and they became heroes of the Main branches of both Family Clans.

Raizel and company were naturally happy to get such a welcome, but they almost vomited blood when Raizel checked his Galactic Mental-message transmission orb. The later Mental-message transmission sent by Sheldon clearly stated that the Main branches of both Family Clans were safe.

He and the other banished members of the Main branches of both Family Clans wore dazed expressions for a few days, and Raizel cursed himself for not checking his Galactic Mental-message transmission orb.

It had led to the deaths of his Soul being and the Soul beings of others.

“Father,” Heron and Herman said in unison as they entered Solomon’s single-room house.

“Yeah?” Solomon asked as he looked at his sons. He still had a big smile plastered on his face.

“Father, what’s happened?” Herman asked as he saw his father smile like an idiot.

“Nothing much. I was successful in correcting the thought processes of some youngsters,” Solomon said as he kept the Master controller of the Treasure Space by his side.

“What do you mean? Did you interfere a lot with the Divine Trials?” Heron asked in a frantic manner. Herman’s expression also clearly told So
lomon that he had similar concerns as his younger brother.

“You guys worry a lot,” Solomon said as he threw the Master controller towards Heron. Heron’s face twitched a few times as he caught the Master controller, but he quickly checked the details about the Divine Trials. He noticed that at least half the participants had already been ejected by the Treasure Space and quite a few amongst the remaining half had sustained severe, but not life-threatening, injuries.

Heron’s mouth opened a few times to say something, but he lacked the appropriate words at that moment. He could already tell what his father’s intentions were after seeing the manner in which the participants were working together. Herman felt a little uneasy seeing Heron go silent. He took the Master controller from his brother’s hand to check for himself, seeing as neither his father nor his younger brother was speaking.

Herman also became speechless soon after.

Both Heron and Herman had been concerned about the lack of unity between the different branches for quite some time, but their father had more or less corrected that problem, and they saw participants from different branches working closely to achieve their targets, as well as the expressions of the people in Sundering Valley.

They could tell with a single glance the state of a youngster’s mind after having lived for millions of years.

  Ch.22

Ryan had been peacefully cultivating all this time inside his Spatial Cultivation chamber completely unaware of the happenings outside. The Glass boxes in front of him were all empty signifying that he had absorbed the essences of all the Plant Spirits.

He had gained a lot of insights in Poison Elemental Laws after absorbing so many essences. He was only able to understand a few of these insights, but it was enough for him to advance his Poison Attribute Soul Core to Late Mortal Lord Realm in one go, as his understanding in Poison Elemental Laws had already reached the threshold requirement for advancing his Soul Core to Late Mortal Lord Realm.
