  John M. Solensten has published four novels, two short story collections, and more than thirty short stories as well as poems and chapbooks. He’s a retired university literature teacher. He lives in Burnsville, Minnesota, with his wife, Brenda.

  Andrea Brill has spent the last four decades either reading about or thinking about humorous topics. Andrea is also an artist, a philatelist, and an avid photographer. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, son, and lemon beagle, Skip.

  John Haggerty is a writer living in San Mateo, California. His work has appeared in Confrontation, High Desert Journal, Los Angeles Review, Opium Magazine, Santa Monica Review, and War, Literature & the Arts. His short story “Ghost Lights” was a runner-up for the 2007 Bridport Prize, and his story collection was short-listed for the 2011 Scott Prize. “Outside the Box” was first published in Opium.

  Scott W. Baker’s works have appeared in numerous publications, including Writers of the Future, Volume 26, and on the podcast Escape Pod. His flash fiction has also been featured in Every Day Fiction and Daily Science Fiction. A full list of publications is available at scottwbaker.net. A longer version of “Excuse Me” appeared in The Rejected Quarterly in 2009.

  Joe Ponepinto is the book-review editor for the Los Angeles Review. He is the winner of the 2011 Springfed Arts Writers Contest in fiction. His work has been published in a variety of journals. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Dona, and Henry, the coffee-drinking dog.

  Jamie Lackey attended James Gunn’s Science Fiction Writers Workshop at the Center for the Study of Science Fiction in 2010. His work has appeared in The Living Dead 2, Bards and Sages Quarterly, and The Drabblecat. He works as an assistant editor on The Triangulation Annual Anthology Series and he reads slush for Clarkesworld.

  Jay Werkheiser lives in eastern Pennsylvania, where he is a mild-mannered chemistry teacher by day and an equally mild-mannered science-fiction writer by night. His stories have appeared in Analog Science Fiction and Fact and in Daily Science Fiction. “The Plum Pudding Paradox” was previously published by Daily Science Fiction (December 2010).

  Lisbeth Mizula has been chosen for the Rice University Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, placed in writing contests with The Write Ingredients (The Woodlands, Texas), performed standup in local comedy clubs, and published nonfiction articles in the Humble Tribune.

  Richard Holinger’s work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize three times. His fiction has appeared in Witness, Iowa Review, WHR, Other Voices, ACM, Cream City Review, Flyway, Madison Review, Flashquake, and Downstate Story. His creative nonfiction and book reviews have been accepted by North American Review, Southern Review, Midwest Quarterly, Cimarron Review, Crazyhorse, and Northwest Review. He has a Ph.D in English with a creative writing emphasis and was awarded an Illinois Arts Council Artists Grant for poetry.
