Raise the Red Flag Page 21

by Eric Del Carlo

Jonny was groaning, the moans rising in pitch with his every heaving breath. His chest lifted and dropped. His hips moved. His ass squirmed beneath him. Pleasure crackled over his bare flesh. It reached a crescendo that blotted out the sounds of the guitar and the traffic below their second-story windows.

He came with a ferocious surge of bliss. His cum flew from him, as if his soul were emptying. Each jet wrested a fresh euphoria from his body and being. Hamilton caught all his spunk in his mouth, keeping his lips dutifully around Jonny until his last spurt, after which his cock started to grow languidly soft.

Hamilton lay down beside him, a firm familiar weight on the bed. Jonny nuzzled against him. They both still smelled of the lilac bath, mixed now with the lush aroma of masculinity.

Jonny felt a true contentment. There was no need to ever run away from this. If he’d been running all his life, then he must have been unconsciously running toward a situation like this, one to share with a lover who was his equal, who had brought out of him his own truest emotions.

Hamilton, next to him, let out a breath. There was a vaguely troubled note in the sound. Jonny blinked open his eyes.

  “Something wrong?” he murmured.

Hamilton hesitated, then, “Just a thought. Just… about the news. About the war.”

  “What about it?”

“With the war over, do you want to return to America?” Hamilton’s voice trembled on the last syllables. He had grown tense beside Jonny.

Jonny’s face was in the hollow of Hamilton’s brawny shoulder. He didn’t bother to lift his head, to meet Hamilton’s eyes. Instead, he just chuckled, the sound carefree and genuine. And he said, “Let’s see what kind of nation they build for themselves first. I’m in no hurry to go back there.”

Hamilton put his arms around him and held him tightly, and the two men stayed locked like that as the dusk surrendered to night.
