Jeanne Glidewell lives with her husband, Bob, and their chubby cat, Dolly, in Bonner Springs, Kansas. In the winter, the three of them travel to their waterfront condo in south Texas, where Jeanne and Bob enjoy spending time with their Rockport friends, and wade-fishing the bays off the Gulf of Mexico whenever the weather is cooperative. (Dolly would go with them if her servants could find chest-waders that fit her—with four legs instead of only two.)

Besides writing and fishing, Jeanne also enjoys traveling, wildlife photography, and spending time with her four incredible grandchildren, Wyatt, Seth, Marissa, and Dax.

A 2006 pancreas and kidney transplant recipient, Jeanne now volunteers as a mentor for the Gift of Life Program of Kansas City, helping future pancreas and/or kidney recipients prepare mentally and emotionally for their transplants. She's an avid advocate for organ and tissue donation and encourages people to let their families know if they're generous enough to donate their organs once they no longer need them. Marking "organ donor" on a driver's license is not enough to ensure your final wishes are adhered to.

Jeanne is the author of a romance/suspense novel, Soul Survivor, and six books and one holiday novella in her Lexie Starr cozy mystery series. With this cross-over novel she is introducing her new Ripple Effect cozy mystery series.
