“Baby this isn’t your fault! So the police have him again?” I sniffed and tried to take a calming breath.

“She got beat up pretty bad so she’s in hospital. Mum said she is ok, she’s covered in bruises. He drugged her.” I couldn’t stop the tears from falling down my face still.

“You know she won’t have meant what she said; when she overcomes the shock she’ll realise and won’t blame you.”

“But it’s all my fault. I should have just stayed away from him, I didn’t even like him that much. I was just trying to get over…” You, I added silently. “He was right, I led him on. It should have been me then he would already be locked up and have left her alone! Or I should have just pressed charges in the first place.” I heaved a sigh.

“If you didn’t want to be with him then that is for you to decide. He shouldn’t try to force himself on you, or anyone else for that matter. He’s eighteen; do you not think that he’ll just get worse if he thinks he can get away with it once? He needs teaching a lesson and I hope he gets one.”

I’m not sure how long Jamie held me on the floor of his office, but I woke up in his bed in just my t-shirt and underwear, wrapped up in his arms fighting against him as I pulled myself from another nightmare.

“No- no- no… Leave me alone! Get off me!”

“Olivia wake up, baby! Come on wake up, it’s just a dream… You’re ok, come on.” Jamie was gripping on to me tightly when I woke properly.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’m so, so sorry!” I cried.

“Hey, it’s ok.” He hugged me tighter, to the point I was sure my ribs would crack under the pressure. “I told you I’m here for you baby, now shh… come on back to sleep.” He gently stroked his hands down my hair over my shoulder as I drifted back off to sleep.

I woke to the sound of Jamie’s alarm the next morning; I peeled myself from his protective embrace to switch it off and headed off to make his breakfast again. Hopefully I could beat Mrs Carter to it this morning; she wasn’t around so I busied myself making pancakes, coffee for Jamie and some tea for me. I gathered everything on to a tray along with some fresh strawberries, orange segments and apple slices. I carried everything upstairs and kissed Jamie awake. He didn’t open his eyes straight away; he just inhaled deeply, smelling the pancakes and coffee.

“You know you are spoiling me, I might get too used to this.”

“I just wanted to say sorry about last night.” I crossed my legs on the bed and fiddled with the hem of my jeans so I didn’t have to look at him.

“You don’t need to apologise, it was a dream and you can’t help what you dream.”

“I could ask my dad about getting something to block them out but then I’d have to explain everything.” I sighed and tried to plaster a convincing smile on my face. I wasn’t sure it went all the way to my eyes, but I damn well tried. “Now eat up, you have work soon.”

“I don’t want to leave you.” I silently prayed he didn’t see the fear in my eyes at the thought of being left alone.

“I’ll be fine! You can call me on your lunch and when you get home, or I can be here when you get back if you want? Or you can pick me up on your way?”

“I can-” Both of our phones rang at the same time which was odd. Steph was calling me.

“It’s Steph” I said to Jamie, he turned his phone to show me his call was from an unrecognised number.

“Good morning Olivia, it’s Stephanie Bradley here. I just wanted to inform you that Lucas will be released from custody on bail today. A court appearance has been set for Monday.”

“But he can’t get bail can he?”

“He has. I’m sure you’re already aware that he denies attacking Miss Andrews, he claims there was mutual consent and he was framed.”

“What? That’s ridiculous! Has Violet pressed charges?”

“She has, but that’s as much as I can tell you.”

  “Ok”

“Olivia, can you think of any other reason he’d have to attack her and lie about it?”

“No I can’t think of anything other than the stuff to do with me.”

“Ok, well, I’m not sure there is much more that we can do right now.”

I ended the call and pushed the food away from between Jamie and I so that I could crawl over into his lap. He’d already finished his phone call with whoever had called him.

“I told you it was all of my fault, they can’t see a motive other than she is my friend!”

“No it’s entirely his fault! Please don’t take the blame for what he did! I’m going to call in sick and take you away for the day, is that ok? We can go shopping or head to a movie… we can do anything you want.”

“I want to see Violet but she won’t reply to my messages. Getting away sounds good though. Are you sure you can call in? I can wait ‘til the weekend to do something, or meet you after school?”

“No, we are having the whole day together and that’s final; let me just call reception and email over my lesson plans.” Jamie called in while I sat on the bed pulling my pancakes apart “So, shopping?” He asked as he came back through the door.

I pulled a face, I didn’t really like shopping that much; the busy streets of London were always far too crowded with people pushing and shoving. “What for?”

“Whatever you want, I want to buy you something.”

“But there is nothing I need.”

“I want to get you something that you want; think more pretty than practical” He leaned over me to place a soft kiss to the top of my hair.

“There is nothing I want, besides you.” I smirked at him and pulled him back to the bed. “And if you aren’t going to work today, then I think I want you as much as possible.” I whispered to him as I trailed kisses across his jaw, up to his ear to softly nibble on his lobe, pushing all other thoughts out of my mind.

I ran my fingertips down the length of his body to the bulge that was growing rapidly in his shorts. Jamie laid me down on the bed and slowly peeled off my jeans, tossing them to the floor. He began rubbing those circles from the soles of my feet, all the way up to my shoulders. The way his fingers applied the right amount of pressure over my body had me shivering and moaning underneath him as he kissed me. He gripped the hem of my t-shirt and began pulling the material apart. In my horny state it took me a couple of seconds to realise that he was ripping my top off of me.

“What are you doing?” I shrieked.

Jamie laughed “I guess I owe you a new top now.”

“You are so- so…” I was officially lost for words, there’s a first. He raised an eyebrow at me waiting for me to finish my sentence. “Never mind” I sighed as I pulled him back down to kiss me. He reached around my back to unhook my bra, slipping it down from my arms and off. Next his hands gripped the delicate lace of my panties that lay over my hips and pulled it apart, ripping it from my body. “Jamie!” I exclaimed in shock.

“Oops… I guess I owe you some new underwear too then.” He smirked at me.

“They were my favourite!” I tried to make him see how annoyed I was by scowling at him, but the pure wildness of what he’d just done made me so hot that I couldn’t hold it and broke into a smile. “Ok so that was sexy as hell!” I said as I threw my head back to the bed, covering my eyes with my hands.

“These look familiar.” I peeked at him from between my fingers, my mouth falling open in shock. He smirked at me again, but more wickedly.

“So you did see them.” I tried to hide my smile. I knew he’d seen up my skirt that day in the hallway, before I fell asleep in his class.

“I could be a gentleman and say no, but I’d be lying. I could hardly concentrate in class after seeing them. You were laying there looking so beautiful like an Angel while you slept; I had to fight everything in me to not carry you back here and make you mine.” I laughed at the thought of him carrying me from class to whisk me away for an afternoon filled with his fantastic love making.

  He sho
wed me exactly how he wanted to claim me that day by making my body shudder through release after release.

“What the hell have I unleashed?” Jamie chuckled while stroking my hair. I pulled myself up with the little remaining strength that I had.

“What do you mean?” I gasped.

“You! You just seem… I don’t know… insatiable” I leaned down so my lips barely brushed against his to whisper to him.

“Is it a bad thing? Do you not like it?”

“No, I love it!” Jamie growled at me while rolling me over so he could kiss me deeper.

I had no idea what he’d unleashed, but I loved it too. I couldn’t get enough of him, always wanting more. It was like opening my favourite packet of sweets; once I’d had a taste, I was unable to stop eating until the bag was empty. I’d had a taste of this wild and wonderful feeling and I didn’t want it to ever stop.

  THIRTEEN

After an amazing morning of exploring each other until I ached in places I’d never ached before we decided to go out shopping. I had to go back to my house so that I could grab a few things. I needed to get a birthday present for my mum so I grabbed my purse. I left a note for my parents as they were both at work, telling them I was going shopping and would probably stay out again. Not that they ever cared what I was up to, as long as my grades didn’t slip; now that I was no longer in school there was no danger of that happening. I read a note that said my Uncle Austin was looking for me and wanted to hear from me soon. I stuck that into my bag and headed back out to Jamie, waiting in the car.

Jamie headed for the North Circular to get us out of London, choosing a shopping centre just over an hour away. I ran through the playlists on his iPod trying to find something that didn’t depress me further or ruin my eardrums with insane levels of screaming. How can guys scream like that?

I noticed a playlist marked with a heart and asked what it meant but he just shrugged at me and asked me to pick a song from something else. Maybe they were songs for his ex-girlfriend. Maybe I could just make him tell me if I selected it. I opened up the playlist and pressed play on the first song automatically. It was a recording of the piece of music that I’d played at one of the school concerts.

“Is that? That’s not- How did-” It was exactly a piece that I’d played. That was me playing it. I could tell because there was a key that was slightly out of tune, it had irritated me that it hadn’t been tuned properly before the show. Jamie’s jaw tightened as he tried to pull his iPod from my grasp, but I held it away. I flicked to another song, finding it was another piece that I’d sang along with. My eyes widened in shock. “How did you get these? When did you make this?” he shrugged, avoiding my eyes knowing that I’d figured out what the playlist was for. “When?” I asked more sternly.

“They aren’t all of your music; some are just songs that remind me of you.” Something rose in my chest but I’m not sure exactly what that was. Happiness? Love? Embarrassment? Confusion? “The songs aren’t always the same. I add some or take some off, but I’ve probably had it about…” I looked at him expectantly “six months.” He mumbled.

“Are you kidding me? What does that even mean, if you’ve had it that long?”

“It means… I’ve liked you for a while… Whether I admitted it to myself, is another story.”

“It’s not quite six years but still… You never said a word the whole time.”

“SIX YEARS?! You have liked me for six years?!” The car swerved as he looked over to me shocked. I screamed at him to watch the road, the main reason so he couldn’t see the blush cover my cheeks at his reaction, second was that I didn’t want to end up wrapped around a tree trunk. It was more for the first reason though.

“You never realised the whole time I had a huge crush on you?”

He blew out a long breath. “Wow. Six years? I thought maybe one or two”

“Ever since you started teaching my class in second year” I said quietly looking down at his playlist. “I’ll let you listen to my playlist for you, on our way back if you want?” I said changing the subject quickly.

“You have one too?” I gave him an incredulous look.

“You do realise you are asking the girl with the crush since she was twelve? Wow… God that sounds so fucked up now I’ve said it out loud!” I sighed pushing back into my seat.

“Yea a little bit.” He blushed.

I cleared my throat. “Right, yeah… I haven’t.” He laughed and I blushed scarlet, shaking my head. I changed the song and the subject again. God I’m such an idiot!

  ***

I didn’t usually like to shop but I felt excited, I wasn’t the type of girl that got excited about shopping. Jamie was really happy though; maybe his good mood was rubbing off on me. Or maybe I was feeling carefree, being able to be out in a very public place holding hands and cuddling with Jamie without worrying who saw.

We agreed to lunch before we looked around any of the shops, settling on a little Italian restaurant. We sat in a quiet corner across from each other with our feet entwined underneath the table playing footsie with each other. I hated not being able to touch him more than that; feeling mischievous, I kicked one of my shoes off and began running my foot up the inside of his leg.

Jamie jumped in his seat when my foot reached the tent in his jeans; I could feel him push back against me as I rubbed up and down through the material. I smirked at him as I felt him getting harder. “Liv, stop.” I shook my head, biting down on my lip as I pressed harder. “Olivia.” He snapped, his teacher tone making an appearance. “I mean it! Stop” He whispered. He gripped the edge of the table as I moved my foot faster. “Baby, please!” Jamie begged, his cheeks became flushed and I could see his breathing becoming shallow. He leaned over the table gripping handfuls of his hair; I could see the muscles in his arms ripple through the strain of holding himself together.

“Do you have anything in your pocket?” He gave me a quizzical look before nodding. Smiling I pulled my foot away, slipping back into my shoe and stood. “Bathroom, 2 minutes.” I ran off to find the bathroom, making sure it was empty. Jamie burst through the door, locking it behind him and grabbed me pushing me against the sink to kiss me roughly. We scrambled with our own jeans and underwear to hurry them down. Turning to face the mirror, Jamie pulled my hips backwards to meet him.

  “I hope you’re ready, baby.”

“I’m always ready for you.” I smiled, looking up through my lashes into the mirror watching his reflection. A groan left his parted lips, his grip tightened on my hips as he positioned himself at my slick opening.

“Fuck!” I cried out as he slammed forward into me, pressing me hard against the sink, my hand coming up on the mirror to stop my head crashing into it.

“I need to come so bad, Liv” Jamie grunted between thrusts. “Come with me. Come with me, baby.” He reached around, dipping his fingers between my legs to find my clitoris, rubbing ferociously; fire immediately started licking its way up my legs as my climax built. “I can feel you tightening. Give it to me, Olivia.” I did, I gave him everything I had as I pushed back against him, meeting him thrust for thrust, sending us both crashing into our release together.

After making sure that I didn’t look like I’d just been fucked in the bathroom, I followed Jamie back to our table. A waiter came over and handed me a glass of water.

“It’s lemon and ginger. My wife said it worked wonders with her morning sickness. She said it’s supposed to get better after the first twelve weeks.” He announced. “You aren’t showing yet, how many weeks are you?” I looked between him and Jamie astounded, not sure what was happening.

  “Erm…”

  “Six” Jamie answered for me.

“Oh so it’s only just starting. Well, rest assured, it does get better than this; and congratulations.” The waiter beamed as he left our table, with me muttering my confused thanks.

“What the fuck was that?” Jamie covered his face, his shoulders shaking with his laughter.

/>   “I had to tell him something! I don’t think he’d have taken too kindly to holding our food while I banged you in the bathroom, do you?”

We finished our lunch and complimentary, congratulatory desserts and headed off out to the shops. The first shop we happened to walk by was a baby store. I ran in leaving Jamie to follow behind me.

“Oh honey, this would look fabulous on our little Jamie Junior!” I mocked, swinging around to face him holding a tiny blue outfit against my stomach, then lying it over my arm rocking it gently as if a baby was wearing it. Jamie’s eyes flickered between mine and my arms, his mouth popped open but no words left his lips. He just kept studying my eyes and my arms.

This was a dumb idea. A monumentally dumb as fuck idea. I laughed as I hung the little outfit back on the rail and walked towards Jamie, trying to look as casual as possible while he was clearly stood freaking out.

“You started it, Matthews.” I reminded him with a smirk as I took his hand pulling him towards a dress shop that I’d spotted.

I bought myself a few new things for summer much to Jamie’s disapproval that I refused to let him pay for them. I thought about buying my mum a watch for her birthday so we headed to a couple of jewellers, I found the most beautiful watch with a white leather wrist strap, small diamonds surrounded the watch face with additional diamonds on the face marking hour points. I asked the woman behind the counter if I could buy it, removing my card from my purse; Jamie swiftly grabbed my card from my hand.

“Liv, do you know how much that costs?”

  “Yes?”

“It’s a little expensive for you to be buying, don’t you think?”

“No? Can I have my card please?”

“Are you sure you should be spending that kind of money?”

“Not every person that has money is flashy with it Jamie, now give me my card.” I hissed at him. “It’s from my inheritance; can I talk to you about it later?”
