Billy put his hands up.
“So are you saying you could all go to space with me?” he said.
“Theoretically,” Henry said.
“Why would we want to go to space?” Kate said.
“I suppose if we ever got bored saving this world, we could go save others,” Titus said.
“Can I propose we shelve that one for a while?” Jane said. “I don’t know about you guys, but I kind of want to make sure this world’s in one piece before we start traveling the universe.”
“Now there’s a plan I can get behind,” Doc said. “One world at a time.”
“One world at a time,” Jane said. She looked up at the Tower once more, silently watching from high above. She raised a glass to the starship. “Hey guys? Welcome home.”
