He raised her leg, forcing his now-slippery rod deeper.
“Is that pussy good?” Alexis bounced against him. “Is it good?”
He let out a deep grumble that originated from his stomach and ended in his throat.
“It’s so good you can’t speak.” She slammed her pussy against him. “This pussy got your silent? Got your ass quiet?”
He moaned, his face tight and red as if he were in a headlock. “Yes.”
“Don’t stop, Kevin.” They rocked faster. “Make me come. Make me squirt over your big dick.” She burst, saturating his cock.
“Oh, Lexi.” His head flopped against her back. “Woo.”
Within moments, Kevin came, shuttering Alexis with a colossal orgasm. “Jesus, you’re gonna kill me one day, woman.” He lay flat and checked the clock by the bed. “Shit, I have to go.” He swung his legs from underneath the cover.
“What?” Alexis held the cover over her breasts. “You can’t fuck my brains out and leave.” She grinned. “What kind of boyfriend are you?”
“I’d stay forever if I could but not tonight.”
“Why not tonight?” She planted kisses down his naked back.
“You know I wanna be with you before anything else but baby…” He turned his head and kissed her. “There’s a representative from Takahashi Pharmaceuticals coming in from Japan tomorrow morning.” He got off the bed and grabbed his shirt and pants from the floor. “I have to be at Copeland Enterprises at five a.m.” He buttoned his shirt and slipped on his pants.
“That sounds interesting.” Alexis lay on her side. “Why’s he coming in?”
“He’s going to sit in on a meeting tomorrow addressing the potential deal between Takahashi and Copeland.” Kevin grabbed his burgundy, G.J. Cleverley shoes and sat on the bed. “Grant’s put me in charge of everything. He won’t even be there.” He put on his left shoe and laced it up. “This is big, Lexi. I don’t wanna fuck anything up.”
“You won’t.” She put her arms around him from behind and laid her head on his shoulder. “Why are you so anxious? You already know Grant wants to leave you in charge of the company eventually. That proves he’s confident in what you can do.”
He slipped on the right shoe. “This is my big chance to prove to everyone else at Copeland Enterprises that I deserve to be there.” He turned and faced her. “Everyone in this town thinks I got where I am because of Grant. Copeland merging with Takahashi is the biggest deal Copeland has ever come close to. If I can close the deal then people will know I deserve to run that company someday.”
“Why…” She pecked kisses down his cheek. “Do you care what the people in this town think? You know you’re a great asset to that company. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.”
“It does to me.” He stood, buckling his belt. “At Copeland, I’ve never felt I belonged.”
Alexis ran her fingers through her straight strands. “Because you come from the trailers?”
“Exactly. You’ll never understand how it feels to come from nothing, Lexi. Your dad worked for Copeland Enterprises and you never had to want for nothing your whole life.”
She sighed, feeling guilty like she always did when Kevin brought up how different their backgrounds were.
“Do you think I dreamed I’d ever get close to a man like Grant let alone work for him? I’m right up there now with people who wouldn’t have given me the time of day without Grant in the picture. Not to mention, I’m the youngest executive there so they don’t take me seriously anyway. If it wasn’t for Grant backing me up no one would pay me any attention.” He sat back down. “In this business, respect is everything and right now the people at Copeland Enterprises don’t respect me.” He pinched her cheek. “But they will because I’m going to seal the deal on this merger and I’m going to run Copeland Enterprises. Then they’ll have no doubts.”
She stared at him.
“What?” He leaned back. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I just didn’t realize how much being a part of Copeland meant to you. I know you enjoy working there but I thought it was more because of the perks.”
“This has nothing to do with money.” He held her hand to his lap, caressing her fingers. “Nothing would mean more to me than showing everyone what I’m made of. I can run that company, Lexi. I just need the chance.”
“You know I hate Grant, but I know this means a lot to you.” She kissed him. “I’ll support you. Besides, you’ll run that company with more morality and compassion than Grant ever could.”
“I love you, Lexi.” He kissed her hand. “I always will.”
Her heart fluttered.
“I’d better get a move on.” He stood and grabbed his black, Panerai watch from the end table. “Hey, you didn’t say anything about my new watch.” He put it on. “You like it?”
She scoffed, rubbing her hair. “I still can’t get over you spent eleven thousand dollars on a watch. It makes no sense.”
“Why not? I worked hard for the money. I can pamper myself.”
“Kevin, unless that watch gets up and cooks, I can’t see why it needs to cost so much. It’s obvious the trailers have become a distant memory.”
“Shit, I couldn’t forget where I come from if I tried.” He stared in space. “The people in this town never would let me.” He came back to earth and touched her chin. “If I keep looking at you in that sheet I might never leave.”
She sat up on her knees. “That would be fine with me.” She pulled him to her and kissed him.
“Lexi,” he mumbled against her lips. “I have to go, honey.”
“Aw.” She let him go.
He moved from the bed.
“You’ll do well tomorrow.” She lay against the headboard. “I’m proud of you already.”
He smiled and turned toward the window. “What the…?” He moved the curtain back.
“What?” Alexis got off the bed, wrestling with the sheet.
Kevin ran out the room and down the hall.
“Kevin?” She ran to the living room, tripping along the way.
“Hey!” He yanked the front door open and jumped on the porch. “Grant? What are you doing?” he yelled, waving his arm.
Alexis peeked outside from behind Kevin.
Grant’s silver Rolls-Royce Phantom sat on the street.
“Grant!” Kevin headed off the porch. “What the hell are you doing?”
Grant sped off.
“What the fuck?” Kevin panted. “It’s one thing to come by but to act so bizarre and not say anything?”
“Intimidation is his best tactic, remember?”
“This isn’t about intimidation, Lexi.” He exhaled, holding his waist. “Don’t you get it? This isn’t a game Grant’s playing anymore.”
“He’s always playing games.” She straightened the sheet.
“No.” He grabbed her arm. “He wants you, Lexi.”
“So?” She swallowed, fearing that it might be true. “What does it matter?”
“It matters because Grant never, ever stops until he gets what he wants.”
“Well, he’s never getting me, Kevin.” She put her arms around his waist. “Not in a million years.”
“I sure hope not.”
