She made a face at that.
“Hey, just six weeks to go.”
She gave him a little nod.
“Did you take your medicine already?” He pulled out the drawer as he asked. “I see you did. Well then, do you have anything you want to discuss?” He looked at her hopefully. He wanted to be able to stay as long as he could.
She shook her head, and then she had to yawn. It was already after eleven.
“Well then, in you go.” She stood, and he grabbed onto her blankets, pulling them back. This was already part of their routine so Brianna didn’t question it anymore.
“I just have to dart across the hall first.” She wasn’t as embarrassed about telling him that she had to go anymore.
“That’s okay. I’ll wait.” He sat back down on the desk chair and started to read her paper. He was laughing when she came back. “You really did make it interesting. I think I will enjoy this.”
She climbed into bed and wasn’t surprised when he sat down on her bed after he covered her up. “Sleep well, Brianna.” He moved back to the chair and continued reading until she had fallen asleep.
He could hardly believe how well everything was going. His parents had found an apartment for the three of them to live in. The apartment was in the better part of town. It belonged to a couple who were friends with both of their parents from back home. The husband had to go to Thailand for two years. That was just the timeframe that they needed the apartment. The rent was feasible for all of them.
He looked forward to living even closer to Brianna. They would be able to cook together and argue about who had to clean what and everything. He was excited as he ticked off the days until she was finally his.
Scott left after she had fallen asleep. He had given her a light kiss on the cheek.
Scott went and got the grades. Everything had been looking really well. He hoped that he wouldn’t have to cane anyone. All in all the girls were better this year. He looked through everything and sighed relieved. He really didn’t want Brianna to have a picture of him hurting anyone still in her mind when he confessed his feelings for her.
Scott returned to the floor and sent them all off to their rooms. He winked at Brianna. He decided to start with her so she could go to bed. The trip home in the heat would be hard for her.
He waited for all of them to be gone before he knocked. She opened the door surprised that he was already there.
“May I come in,” he asked very formally. This would be the last time he would stand at her door like this. It was kind of, a moment.
“Yes?” she opened the door wide. He noticed that she had pretty much packed everything already. The room looked so empty. Her presence and personality would soon be leaving it forever.
“You managed it. I don’t know how after the start you had, but you managed to be the best girl on campus yet again this time.” He sat down on the chair while she looked off to the side, smiling.
“I always knew I could do well given a chance to attend school regularly, but to be the best is – a little overwhelming. I did it, Scott. No one thought I would.”
“You mean me in the beginning?” he asked.
“No. I meant live long enough to get a Bachelor of Arts. I remember when I was I guess eight. I had missed out on a lot of school, and I was about to have another major operation. The girls at school practiced a couple of songs. They were along the lines of saying goodbye, never to be seen again. I went with my mother, and she was so mad. You rarely get to see my mother mad, but if she gets mad, she does it right. She yelled at the teacher, but the teacher remained steadfast, even telling her to face facts. When she brought me back after everything was better, she walked up to the teacher and said ‘Huh’ and left. I feel like saying ‘Huh’ too.”
“Like mother, like daughter. Go ahead, Brianna. Give it to me.” He beamed at her.
She focused on his eyes, and she even leaned in to him. “Huh,” she laughed.
“Good for you, Brianna. Have a safe trip home.” He got up and went to the door.
“You too, Scott. I’ll see you at church on Sunday.”
“You can count on me.” He left imagining the two of them standing next to each other at church. By Sunday everything would be settled between them. He moved on to spread the good news.
Things went well until he got to one of the first year girls who insisted that she wasn’t coming back. She kept going and pushing him until he had to spank her. His last spanking. Maybe he should have been more nostalgic about it, but he would have been happy if he hadn’t had to do it.
After all the girls had settled down, he wrote a letter about each of the first year girls to the new floor disciplinarian. He was glad to be able to wash his hands of the whole matter. He was eager to start his summer vacation.
Jessica sat on her bed and wiped the tears from her eyes. She was crying, not from the spanking, but because Scott had told her that he wouldn’t be coming back next year. Someone else would be taking his place. Some no name, no face person. She would have to start all over again with someone new.
What if that someone saw through her show and refused to spank her?
In her case, that would be the biggest punishment.
She rocked back and forth on her bed, pressing her hurting bottom into the bed. It was clear to her that she wasn’t right in the head. Should she confess to her parents and ask them for help? Would they even listen to her? Normally they were just too busy to listen to her.
She needed professional help. But who to turn to? Could she even pick up the phone and make an appointment with a shrink? Probably not.
What if the secretary asked her what the reason was for her seeking help? No, she couldn’t do that. Besides, how was she to pay for such sessions?
She got up and went to the bathroom. She saw Scott going into Brianna’s room again. He did that a lot. Guys wanted sweet girls like her. Jessica would never be in a healthy relationship.
Jessica was feeling so depressed again. Could she survive three months without a spanking?
Scott was sneaking out of Brianna’s room. He had only been in there for about a minute. Why didn’t anyone else ever see things like that, she wondered.
She quietly walked down the hall back to her room. She laid down in her bed and thought about the other floor disciplinarians. None were as good looking as Scott. Could an ugly man turn her on like he did?
She cried herself to sleep, mourning the loss of Scott, her favorite sexual toy.
Chapter 10 – I’m No Fool
Scott had polished himself up. His sisters had helped him a little. He stood in front of Brianna’s door, and he had a rose for her again.
Today was the big day. He was going to confess his feelings to her. After taking a deep breath, he rang the bell. He had been practicing what he was going to say to her. He had performed it for his sisters, and they had approved, saying that he was very romantic. Now he just had to get the nerve up and go through with it.
“Hello, Scott. You look fantastic.” Eva let her future son-in-law in. “She is out in the garden. Charles and I were just leaving. You two will be all alone.”
“Not that alone,” Charles added.
Scott grinned at that. “Sir, I will be thrilled if she agrees to go out with me tonight. I won’t push her into anything more.”
“We know, Scott. This is just really hard for a father to do.” Eva grabbed his arm and pulled him out.
Scott smiled and waved goodbye. He straightened himself out again and went out into the garden. He had to look for her before he found her. She was on a shady bench, crying. He knelt down in front of her and gave Brianna the rose he had brought along for her. “What’s wrong?”
“I’m having a very bad day, that’s all.”
“Don’t you feel well?” His fingers moved automatically to her wrist, and he took her pulse.
“No, I’m fine. It’s just I won’t be going with you to college,” she sniffled.
“And why no
t?” He was alarmed. He had envisioned it so perfectly, him coming home from his classes and her being there in their apartment.
“I got my information about when I have to go to the Mayo clinic this year. I’ll be there for the first week of school. After missing the first week, I will never be able to catch up. I should have known that something like this would happen. I finally want to go to college, and now I can’t.”
“I think you are giving up too easily.”
“Oh Scott, just be happy that you won’t have me in your hair, this year.” She said it meaner than she wanted to.
He stood and pulled her up with him. He sat down on the bench and pulled her over his knees. She kicked and screamed for him to stop, but he continued on. He lifted her dress and pulled down her panties before he started wailing at her.
“You are just afraid to try something new. If you really wanted to be there with all of your heart, then you would do what you could to make it possible, or you would work twice as hard to catch up but no, you sit in your garden bawling and feeling sorry for yourself. Let me tell you that you have no reason to feel sorry for yourself.
“And your worries about not being able to find a boyfriend are over too. I’m your boyfriend. I have been in love with you for over a year now, even before I knew about your heart problems.”
He continued spanking the sobbing wreck over his knees. “And your silly worries about your scars are nonsense too. What idiot would look at your scars when he could be looking at your breasts? I’m not an idiot. I know how beautiful you are.” He stopped spanking, but he held her in position.
“I love you, you silly little girl, and you will be going to school with us. If you will have me, I would like to be your boyfriend and later your husband. I just want you. You are the girl back home that I told Hannah about. It has always been you.”
What had he done? She would never want him now. He set her on her feet while she hung her head crying. He took the letter and went back into the house.
Brianna was in shock. She couldn’t believe what had happened. He had spanked her at her own home and told her that he loved her. She sobbed and wiped her eyes. She was shaking uncontrollably as shivers went up and down her spine.
Did he mean it? Did he really love her? They had been so close the last couple of weeks. He brought her to bed almost every night, and on the nights that he didn’t do it, she missed him. She knew that she had a crush on him but could that turn into something more?
Would he want to spank her all the time? Did he take that job so he could because he liked it so much?
She didn’t want to get beaten on all the time. She laid down on the bench and cried. A million thoughts ran through her head.
She saw him walking back to her. He still had her letter in his hand. She was sniffling and shaking, but she sat up before he reached her.
“One phone call. That was all it took. I rescheduled. You go next week instead. You will be going to school like you should on the 4th of September, and I don’t want to hear anything else about you not going again. Have I made myself clear?” He was scolding her like he did in his speech at the beginning of the school year.
She nodded and avoided his eye.
“I want to take you out this evening. Are you up to it?” He had spoken a lot nicer at the end.
She nodded again but still kept her eyes away from him. She felt a great shame at having to be spanked by him at the very beginning of their relationship.
“Good, I’ll pick you up at 6:30. We are going to have dinner and then see a movie. It would be nice if you could wear that amazing olive green dress again.”
She dared to peek at him for a second.
“That was the day that I fell in love with you.” He picked up the rose that he had brought with him. It had fallen to the ground while he spanked her. “This is for you.” He gave it to her, and then he simply left.
Brianna continued to shake and wonder about what had happened. She also wondered about her parents. ‘Where were they?’ she asked herself.
Chapter 11 – First Date
Scott had written her parents a letter explaining what had happened, and that he planned to pick her up at 6:30. If she didn’t want to go out with him, he would understand.
Charles went up to Brianna’s room to check on her. She was sleeping. They waited on pins and needles to hear what she had to say about everything.
Eva was sad that their relationship had to start out the way it had. First at school and now here at home.
“Eva, he is only being honest with her. She was being childish, and she needed to be taken in hand. He just did what needed to be done. He even told us what happened. I would much rather have a son-in-law who stands by his actions than one who lies and slaps our daughter around for fun and makes her lie to us.
“That young man could have just as easily shut us out, but he never does. I still like him, and if Brianna has a head on her shoulder, then she will know that she had it coming. He isn’t a weakling who will let our daughter ruin herself. He is a real man who will take care of her. In fact, he has been taking perfect care of her for a couple of years already. I trust him with her life.”
Brianna had been standing in the door so she had been able to hear the whole speech. Her mother had been staring at her, and her father turned to see what she was staring at.
“How long have you known?” Brianna asked very softly.
“Since the Christmas of your freshmen year,” her father answered her.
Brianna was shocked. “You knew the whole time?”
They both nodded. Brianna didn’t know what to make of that. She had been laying in bed for the last hour, reliving all the time they had spent together, especially lately. She saw everything in a different light.
Brianna nodded accepting the truth. “Mama, will you help me get ready for my date this evening?”
“Of course, my little treasure.” Her mother walked to her and hugged her and took her up the stairs.
“I need a bit of help with my hair,” Brianna admitted softly.
“This is really big, isn’t it? Your first date. How did you get so big?” Eva hugged her daughter.
“This actually came very late mom. Normally, this would have been happening three or four years ago,” Brianna explained.
“Aren’t you excited to be going out for the first time?”
“It’s just that – I figured that when I was married that I wouldn’t still be getting spankings.” Brianna had tears in her eyes as she confessed that.
“I thought that too back then. Your father had different ideas.”
“What? Daddy doesn’t, does he?”
Eva shrugged and nodded.
“But why? You are perfect.” Brianna couldn’t imagine anything that her mother could have done wrong.
“That is between your father and I. But chances are any husband you find will help you stay in line. That’s just the way it is here. Back home something like this would be considered abuse, but I have noticed that hardly anyone gets a divorce here. I think it is easier when everyone knows what to expect. That was even how we met Scott’s parents. There is a group at church, and we are all in it.”
Brianna rolled her eyes. “Are you expecting me to join the group too?”
“Don’t be so sarcastic. Of course not. We mostly go because of me. One of the biggest concerns there is that several of women had no idea before their marriage that it could happen to them. They felt that they had been lied too. At least, Scott is being honest with you. You know what to expect. He really does love you, Brianna. It has been killing him that he couldn’t tell you. He even stayed at school a year longer than he had too so he could be with you. He put off his own career so no other man would ever take you over their knees.”
Brianna blushed and looked down. “He did that for me?”
“Yes, that and so much more. I realize this is all new for you, but he has been waiting for this day for so long. Cathy told her mother that he has e
ven been marking the days off in his calendar. He loves you. He is just the kind of man you should marry. Scott will always put you first.”
“You mean that I don’t have to marry him? It sounds to me like everything has been all planned out.”
“You can say no. It will be your decision. That was why Scott was so nervous marking off days. He believes that today is the day he will find out if you love him too. Take your time and listen to your heart. This time it will do right by you.” She hugged her daughter and helped her get ready for her first date.
When she was finished, Brianna looked a lot older and even elegant.
“Would you be very mad at me if I took a couple of pictures?” Eva asked.
“Go ahead, mom.” Brianna smiled at herself in the mirror.
“And when he gets here?” she asked. “Can I take pictures of both of you together?”
“Oh mom. I don’t know. I don’t want to do anything to embarrass myself anymore today.” Brianna kind of wanted a good memory of this evening too.
“He might even expect it. He knows that you never got to go to a prom or anything like that. He may even want a copy for his wallet. You look so amazing. I’ll make copies for his parents too.” Eva left to get the camera. Brianna adjusted her dress so the scars couldn’t be seen. She blushed thinking about what Scott had said about them. She could hardly believe that he had talked so freely about her breasts.
“My little Brianna, look at you.” Her father came in. “You look so beautiful. Scott is one lucky young man to get you.” He laid his hands on her shoulders. “I wish you lots of luck with your young man.”
“Scott isn’t young, Daddy.”
“Compared to me he is. Plus you need a more mature man to take care of you. One who can appreciate how wonderful you really are.”
Brianna gave him a light laugh and blushed for him.
“Congratulations on doing so well at that terrible school and for finding a decent young man. You did really well for yourself. We are truly proud of you.”
