What are you currently reading?
I have finally, finally got around to reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman. The film is one of my absolute favourites – I adore fairytales – so it’s a joy to devour the original that inspired it. I’ve just realized . . . I need to go back and amend my book or film answer! There’s an exception to every rule.

Henry Mead or Quentin Garland?
A million times Henry! Dark, handsome, funny and slightly disheveled. What’s not to like? Quentin is definitely not my type. I mistrust anyone with very tidy hair.
Twickenham or Bath?
In Amy’s day? Twickenham. Nowadays, well, I lived in Twickenham for a long time and it was great. Bath is fantastic for a day out. So both. Again!
Pretty day dress or the low-cut silk evening one?
Low-cut silk. The brighter the better. I absolutely loved writing Amy’s Pretty Woman transformation when she unpacked Aurelia’s trunk. But the reservations about the flashier items were all her own!
