I think I nodded far too eagerly.
Grim’s laugh was low and seductive, almost like a purr. “Damn. I need you.”
He rose off the seat and I followed, standing up as he lifted the helmet and placed it over the handlebars of his Harley. I barely noticed anything but the feel of his hand clenching mine and it was the only indication he was as nervous as I was.
We reached the door and I pulled out my key, unlocking and pushing it open enough to let us slip inside. Grim was impatient. The second the door was shut and locked behind us, he was on me fast. The sweatshirt lifted over my head and was tossed aside. My purse was next followed by my t-shirt.
Grim’s lip lifted in a sort of snarl. “Fuck, Trish. Those are the best tits I’ve ever seen.”
His mouth crashed down on mine and it was a brutal assault. He kept his promise and took what he wanted, starting with ravaging my mouth. His tongue pushed inside and tangled with my own. A groan of pure lust rumbled up from his chest and he broke the connection, trickling kisses down my jaw and then lower, pausing to thoroughly taste and explore the length of my throat.
My fingers gripped the soft leather of his jacket as my head tilted backward. Moaning once, all I could do was hold on while he explored with his lips, mouth, and tongue. My bra unsnapped and fell forward as Grim smiled at the black lace and silk. Not sure where it ended up because all I could focus on was the pleasure rippling up from my core as his mouth lowered to my breast. His hands massaged each globe while his teeth nibbled and bit into my flesh. That rough tongue was alternating between teasing my nipples and licking at my skin.
My God. This man knew what he was doing.
“Where’s your room, angel?”
“Down the hall to the left,” I panted, aware I would be lucky if I could walk on my own.
Grim nodded and then lifted me up, his fingers digging into my ass cheeks as I instantly wrapped my legs around his waist. “Not gonna be able to get enough of you, baby. I can tell that already.”
I think it was mutual.
He strolled down the hall with purpose and kicked my door wide with his boot. I was tossed lightly down on my bed and he gave me that sexy, determined, cocky grin I was starting to adore.
“Need you naked, angel.”
I didn’t have to be told. Shoes and clothing were already being chucked aside by us both. I lay back against the comforter and crooked a finger, opening my legs wide as he sank onto the mattress. His gaze centered on my core and the perfectly trimmed vee of my sex.
“Fuckkkkkkk,” he exhaled on a groan. A feral lust filled his gray eyes. “I want to taste you, but my dick has other plans. Next time,” he promised, and I didn’t have a doubt there would be one. Lots of next times. That was the only way either one of us were working through the need that just kept building higher and higher as the anticipation grew.
Grim slid up and over my body as his mouth lowered to mine. Our kiss grew hot and wild, filled with passion. He slipped a hand between us and slid down the contour of my stomach, pausing over my clit as he skimmed over it and then through my folds. Some kind of odd noise left my lips. A mixture of pleasure, need, and incoherent nonsense.
“You’re soaked, baby. All ready for me?”
I nodded, biting my lip.
Grim located a condom and ripped into the package. He rolled the latex down his length and I got a good look at that dick and the girth. He was much bigger than I had in the past, but I wasn’t the least bit afraid. Knowing his nature, he’d take it slow until I had him all the way inside me.
And that was exactly what he did.
Taking himself in hand, Grim stroked several times before he pushed the crown lightly inside my waiting channel. He pulled out and then slid back in again, coating his cock in my juices. Slowly, carefully, he glided in and out, watching my face and reaction for any hint he was causing pain.
“You’re not hurting me,” I whispered as he lifted a hand and caressed the line of my jaw.
“This is pretty much killing me, baby,” he joked. He withdrew one more time and then surged forward, buried all the way to the base. We both adjusted to the feeling of fullness and the tight way I gripped him. “I don’t think I can hold back much longer.”
“Don’t. Fuck me, Grim.”
My words unleashed a beast.
Grim began to move slowly, pumping his hips in a building rhythm as my fingers crawled up his stomach, the perfect muscles of his abdomen and tight cords of his flesh all the way up his chest and around his neck. Feather light caresses drifted across his skin and a loud groan left his lips. His mouth slammed down on mine as he picked up his pace, pounding into my body as little mews and sighs left my lips.
I lost count of how long his hips pistoned in and out of my own. I knew only pure ecstasy.
Grim lifted my legs and pushed them up higher as he slipped deeper, touching parts of me that no man ever had. It wasn’t just the sex. His gaze held mine and a connection was made that I didn’t think a single person on this earth could ever sever.
My tits bounced with every thrust as I slipped my hand between my legs and my thighs shook. Pleasure intensified. I felt my orgasm approaching as he moved faster, that cocky grin back on his lips.
“Come for me, angel. I want to watch you fall apart.”
My finger was moving so fast on my nubbin that I knew I was going to shatter. When the pleasure reached it peak, I wailed out my release, saying his name more than once as my hips lifted off the mattress in eagerness. I couldn’t get enough of his cock. My nails scratched at his skin and he cursed, roaring out his own climax as he pumped his hips and his lips lowered to mine.
In the aftermath, he held me against his chest, neither of us moving.
“Fuck, angel. I’m not ever going to let you go.”
The words were meant to be a joke, but I could see the truth of them in his eyes.
Funny enough, I was absolutely fine with it.
Grim stood outside on my driveway next to his motorcycle as I stepped onto my front porch. His broad shoulders seemed a mile wide as his arms folded across his chest and he scanned the street, shrewdly making his presence known to my neighbors. He could have come up here and knocked but I wasn’t the least bit surprised to see his commanding presence remained right where no one could miss. He scowled at the guys who lived next door to me and Suraya. They scurried inside as he lit a cigarette and ticked his head in their direction as if humored.
Men and their dominance. It was so predictable. I could act like it was annoying, but the truth was I kind of liked Grim and his protective side. It was a far cry from the life I had known with my father and stepbrother.
With a wide smile, I locked my front door and strolled his way, hoping he liked all the effort I made with my appearance. I’d shaved, waxed, and moisturized my body to a nice pretty shine. I lost track of how long I primped in front of the mirror, but it must have been worth it because he winked and whistled as I approached, tossing down the cigarette and stomping it out with his boot.
“Come on, Sweet Cheeks,” he beckoned with a low growl. “Ride me.”
That feral gleam in Grim’s eyes was a dead giveaway. His meaning wasn’t lost on me. “Don’t you mean ride with you?”
“Sure,” he rasped with a dark chuckle.
“Why don’t I believe you?”
“’Cause you like to pretend that my cock isn’t all you’re thinking about. Right this very moment.”
A heated blush stained my cheeks as I felt the warmth rise up my neck. Maybe I had been tempted to glance at his crotch. Wasn’t happening now. At least not while he could catch me. Now that I was intimately acquainted with his package I had even more reason to stare. The man was gifted.
His grin widened as he straddled the Harley and patted the seat. “Hop on. I want you close before I have to share you with everyone else at the barbecue.”
Snorting with mild humor, I ignored all the sexual innuendo and lifted a leg over the seat, plopping my
ass down and scooting as close as I dared. “That good enough?”
“You want me to say the truth? That I can feel the heat between your thighs, and I wish it wasn’t my biker’s motor that was vibrating your intimate parts?”
Fuck me. I was never gonna last the day before I decided to act on all this sexual tension between us. He gave me a sexy little wink over his shoulder.
“I’ll take your silence as an agreement that I’m the better option of the two.”
I buried my head in his back as his loud laugh had his shoulders shaking before he started the engine and exited my driveway, taking us to our destination without another word.
The pool party and barbecue were packed with friends from the Blacktop bar and their significant others as well as a few members of the Royal Bastards MC. I noticed the cuts they wore and the familiar leather, but I hadn’t met many of them yet. The property was located on the outskirts of Tonopah and the yard was massive. At least a few dozen people mingled around the yard and I felt a little out of place with so many new faces until I spotted my cousin Stefanie.
She was far too young to be here in my opinion. Just sixteen last month. Too pretty and innocent to hang out with a bunch of drunks, bikers, and men twice her age. I tried to remember what it was like to be that sweet and innocent and the excitement of attending parties and events like this. Sighing internally, I let it slide. I’d keep an eye on her and that was all that mattered.
She was standing next to a young man I hadn’t been introduced yet. He was wearing leather and the RBMC cut like Grim but his said prospect and Shadow. His dark brown eyes roamed over her greedily, but it wasn’t in a perverted way. He was completely smitten, his gaze softening whenever she glanced away. Cute, actually.
“Hey, Stef,” I greeted, leaning in to give her a hug. “I didn’t know you’d be here today.”
She tossed a smile at Shadow. “This goof here invited me. Couldn’t resist.”
Grim ticked his head toward Shadow. “Prospect.”
Shadow blushed. “Hey, pres. You need anything?”
“Not yet. I’ll let you know when I do.” He smirked when Shadow bobbed his head quickly.
I tugged on Grim’s arm and led him away when I could tell Shadow wanted time alone with Stef. He kept tapping his boot lightly out of nervousness and agitation. Poor kid. He didn’t seem older than maybe twenty, but Stef was still underage, and I would be making sure he didn’t try anything.
Bodie showed up with Suraya about a half hour after we arrived and the two of them looked more than a little flushed and ruffled. Grim shot a knowing look in my direction as he fist-bumped Bodie. Suraya was staring up at him with what looked like total adoration in her eyes. Those two had hit it off fast and their relationship went from 0 to 100 in a matter of days. He picked her up from our apartment a half hour before Grim so they must have fucked each other stupid for the last hour. She flashed me a wicked grin and I just shook my head.
Guess she was getting that dick and from the look of it she was thrilled.
“Hey, angel,” Grim’s deep purr called out, “I need a beer. You want anything?”
I nodded. “Sure.”
“I’ll be right back.”
Grim sauntered off in the direction of the coolers filled with cold drinks as I greeted Suraya and parked my ass on the empty wooden bench of a picnic table. People were mingling all over the extensive property and quite a few jumped into the pool to cool off. It wasn’t noon quite yet, but the heat of the day had set in hours ago. That was Nevada though, dry and hot as hell in the summer.
Suraya was busy trickling her fingers up Bodie’s chest and he growled, grabbing her ass, and pulling her closer. Something intimate was whispered into her ear and she shivered. I wasn’t surprised when he yanked her up and practically dragged her into the house. The sliding glass door shut behind them and I smirked at the fact that my friend was getting what she wanted and a whole lot more.
My phone vibrated in my pocket and I pulled it free, smiling when I saw a text from Stefanie.
Stef: I like Shadow. He’s not a perv.
Me: All men are pervs.
Stef: Lol. Shadow is sweet.
Me: He’s a biker.
Stef: I’m being smart.
Me: No sex. He’s too old for you.
Stef: Omg. You sound like mom.
Me: That’s cuz it’s true.
Stef: w/e.
Me: Be safe. L U.
Stef: Ok. L U 2.
My phone slide back into my pocket as I snickered. Someone besides her mother needed to say these things to her. The world was a dangerous place, especially when you were a young pretty girl who hadn’t experienced much of it yet.
I fanned my sweaty neck and then grabbed a hair tie from my other pocket, deciding it may not look as attractive, but I had to get this hair off my neck. I’d made a messy bun before I noticed I wasn’t alone on the bench.
“Hey, honey. Where’s your shadow?”
My shadow?
“The biker dude in all the leather and tattoos.”
Ah. “Not far. Why?” I tilted my head to the side to contemplate the guy and get a better look. He was average as far as appearance went. Short dark hair, medium build and a little scruff on his face, plain brown eyes. He wasn’t handsome and he wasn’t ugly. Someone who just blended into the crowd. There wasn’t anything wrong with that, but I wasn’t interested if he was trying to hit on me. Not to mention the fact that Grim would be pissed.
My gaze roamed his body and noticed the plain t-shirt and jeans that he wore. There was something odd about this guy and his demeanor. He must have been a friend of someone I didn’t know because I’d never seen him before, and we had plenty of these gatherings in recent weeks.
“You two close?”
He didn’t answer my question but gazed into my eyes with a sinister smile and asked another of his own. His voice was low and held an edge that I wasn’t comfortable around. I scooted over on the bench away from him and he tilted his head, contemplating the movement.
“Smart. Not safe to talk to strangers, right?” There was a brief chuckle and then he shrugged. “No worries, darlin’. You’re not the fish I want to catch.”
The longer he sat there and stared the more I felt like this man was not only dangerous, but he wasn’t supposed to be here. My instincts screamed for someone to look over and spot his presence, but everyone was busy chasing down booze or entertainment. Splashing around the pool drew everyone’s attention. My end of the yard was completely ignored. Grim was nowhere in sight and I panicked, rising quickly to my feet.
“I should find my friends.”
“Yes, you should.” He slowly stood and rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck as he ticked his head in my direction. “I’ll be seeing you around, honey.”
Feeling a slight bit bold, I swallowed hard and didn’t move, standing my ground even when I fought the urge to flee. “What name should I tell Grim?”
Neither of us was a fool. This guy had a vendetta, and he was simply playing his own demented game.
“Razr.”
I didn’t know what that meant but the threat was clear. My feet moved backward a few steps and he winked, delighting in the fact that I was not only ignorant but growing increasingly afraid. Something in his dark gaze held a promise of not only pain but a sadistic need to torment. Someone screamed as they were tossed into the pool and I glanced away. By the time I turned back around Razr was gone.
Goosebumps rose up on my skin despite the heat and I rubbed my hands over my skin as if I could brush off the icky feeling left behind from Razr’s presence.
“There she is,” a sexy voice announced as arms slipped around my waist from behind.
Gasping, I knocked the masculine hands away and spun around, suddenly terrified. There wasn’t much explanation for my reaction, but I was spooked. Bright sunshine beat down on Grim’s dark head.
“Hey,” he began, reaching out as I scrambled backward and bumped in
to the bench, frantically scanning the entire area for any sign that someone was ready to pop a bullet in his brain.
Call it stupid, but I wasn’t going to let him touch me and place himself in danger. I’d watched enough cop shows to know how this went down.
“Stay back,” I warned.
“The fuck,” Grim cursed, frowning. “What has you so spooked, Trish?”
I held up my hands, taking a couple of steps away. He tracked the movement as his upper lip lifted in a snarl. He wasn’t angry with me. I sensed an animalistic need to protect as he quickly scanned the perimeter. Predators sensed one another. I should have realized that he would pick up on it.
“Someone was here.”
His instincts were spot on. “Yes.”
“Who?”
“Razr,” I whispered.
Grim roared and lunged forward, grabbing my body close and sheltering me within his arms. His entire body went rigid. This time I sank into his warmth and protection as the danger fully sank in.
I could have been killed.
Grim must have realized this at the same time because he yelled for Bodie and a few names I had yet to learn as he scooped me up and ran inside the house. I heard a commotion and a few raised voices. My head spun with the knowledge that someone wanted to hurt Grim and by association, me.
A couple of weeks of dating and I never understood what Grim’s life was like until today. I was far too naïve. The world of bikers, motorcycles, and parties sounded fun and intoxicating but it was far more dangerous than I realized. Thoughts of my stepbrother Moby surfaced, and I buried my head in Grim’s chest as he let my feet drop to the ground but kept one arm securely around my waist. Why didn’t I listen to my gut? The day we met I knew nothing good would come from a relationship with a biker. The Scorpions were the perfect example. Wasn’t Moby’s cruelty enough?
“What you need, pres?”
My head lifted at the same time the new voice spoke. What greeted my eyes was nothing short of a nightmare. Dark circles made the eyes of the man in front of me appear to be some spawn of hell. I screamed as he grinned and his lips pulled back wider, giving him the freakiest expression that I’d ever seen. Black and white makeup covered his face in the mask of death. The guy looked like he walked straight off the set of a horror movie. His shaved head accentuated his lean features and macabre smile.
