As he continued to admire me, he told me, “I had my friend put some money on your books.”
I simply told him, “Thank you,” as he began to untie the knot of my pants.
Malik then pulled my pants down to my ankles as he fell to his knees in front of me. I lay back, relaxed, and allowed my mind to take me to another place. I imagined that I was in Malik’s bed at his home, rather than in a prison. As Malik opened my legs wide and began to kiss and lick my special place, I imagined that I was free and that he was my loving man. I imagined that I was enjoying this good head in a warm and inviting hotel bed on our anniversary, or some special holiday; rather than in a cold room with the sounds of machines washing the filth off of linen that was left by murderers, prostitutes, crack heads, and drug dealers.
My mind took me far away. I could only hear my own moans and the sound of Malik’s lips against my pussy- the sounds of his lips and tongue sucking my clitoris just the way that I loved it.
Just as I was at the point of orgasm, Malik stood up; his face wet with my juices. I stared longingly at his dick that was now powerfully charging at me through the opened zipper of his pants.
He bent down and kissed me passionately. I ate my juices from his lips eagerly; even erotically licking his cheeks free of me. He breathed harder and more excitedly from the rush.
Malik loved that I was a freak.
When he put his dick in me, I wanted to scream for mercy, but I appreciated the rush. Besides being sexy, Malik could fuck- and I mean fuck. He fucked me like he had a point to prove, or like he was upset with life and was taking it out on my pussy. He beat my pussy up like a prized winning boxer, and I lay there so willingly to take the beating.
“How can you sleep with a woman who has killed someone?”
Malik looked at me with a sly smirk from his chair at his post at the door of the laundry room. He was “guarding me” as I finished my shift.
“Because you have good pussy.”
The seduction in his tone sent erotic chills through me that reminded me of the incredible pounding that I just finished receiving fifteen minutes ago. I simply giggled as I continued to fold bed linen.
“No, seriously,” Malik replied as he laughed as well. “You’re not a murderer. You didn’t just go on a spree killing motherfuckas.”
“But I did kill two people.”
“That was in self-defense.”
“Gigi’s murder was in self-defense, but what about Tim?”
Malik seemingly lowered his head in shame as if he was the one that killed Tim.
“You just got caught up with the wrong motherfuckas. You were young and naive. Had you known that Tim was going to get killed, would you have gone through with the robbery?”
“I didn’t want to go through with the robbery regardless of the outcome.”
“Exactly. So, you’re not a bad person. You just made some really fucked up decisions.” Again, Malik laughed at his own joke. “I like you despite what the law says you are.”
“You like me?”
“Yes, I like you.”
I looked at him questioningly as I continued to fold linen.
“You don’t believe me?”
“I’m in prison,” I told him as if to remind him.
“No shit,” he said with a laugh. “And I have been fucking you for months.”
“That doesn’t mean anything. Men fuck women for months all the time and have not an inkling of an emotional connection with them.”
“So you think that I’m one of those dudes?”
I sighed in slight frustration and looked at him, begging him to stop playing with me. “Malik, I can’t know what kind of guy you are, because I am in prison! I have no idea who you really are when you’re not at work.”
“So you think I’m fake? You think I’m someone else when I’m not at work?”
I simply answered, “I don’t know.”
“Do you care?”
And without a shadow of a doubt, I replied, “I don’t have feelings, so I can’t care.”
“Why haven’t you asked me if I’m married, or have a girlfriend, or who else I’m sleeping with?”
I looked at Malik like he was crazy. I wondered why he was treating me like this was some kind of regular fuckship between two normal people.
“I can’t care about that kinda shit! What goes on outside of these four walls- hell, even the outside of my cell- cannot concern me. I am in prison. I will grow up and possibly die in this place. This is where I will live out the majority of my life. The only way that I can survive such a fucked up reality is to act like everything on the outside no longer exists; and that includes feelings, especially feelings for a man.”
I couldn’t believe that Malik was actually looking at me with regret in his eyes. His gorgeous face looked so saddened, which irritated me because I wasn’t at all prepared or willing to have this debate with him.
Though Malik and I spent a lot of time talking and getting to know one another, and though we had experienced hours and hours of good sex, I never allowed myself to think of it as anything but conversation between a guard and a prisoner, and illegal sex between the same, because that is exactly what it was.
Anything beyond that was just unrealistic.
“I know that you’re a prisoner, but you’re still a person, and I like the person that you are – a lot.” I continued to look at him in disbelief as he continued to profess his “like” for me.
“You’re my beau,” he said with the cutest grin. “I talk to you all day every day. We fuck good every other day.” Then he bit his lip in seduction. “Why wouldn’t I fall for you?”

TRICEY
When I looked up at Blood, our eyes met.
I laughed to myself quietly. As I saw him grip the sheets and his eyes roll into the back of his head, I subconsciously gave myself a pat on the back.
He was cumming.
Since I felt that his end was near, I turned my game up. With both hands insistently jagging his dick, I sucked his dick aggressively: sucking with a tight fit in slow and long strokes that hit the back of my throat, making that gagging sound that he loved and creating the spit that he wanted to see.
“Ooooooo shit!”
As Blood’s moans continued to notify his orgasm’s arrival, I continued to suck and moan as if sucking his dick was the best thing since sliced bread.
His manhood seemed to pulsate inside of my mouth as if it wanted desperately to explode. I encouraged his babies to come out and play by freeing one hand and continuing to jag with the other, sucking along the way as the once free hand played with his balls that were slippery wet with my spit.
“Arrrrrgh!”
Blood’s babies came spilling out into my mouth and I continued to suck the life out of him, swallowing his children along the way.
“Arrrrgh!” Blood was fighting my sex through gritted teeth. “Gawd damn!”
He continued to hiss, moan, and scream as his orgasm came and went. I kept sucking and he kept fighting, until his dick began to lose its erection. At that point, I sat up on the edge of the bed and wiped my face with the towel that lay there. Blood continued to look at me in both satisfaction and confusion.
I laughed to myself.
Since becoming Blood’s woman, I learned some major tricks to giving head, because I would rather succumb to that then sleeping with him.
By now, I mastered the art of making him cum with oral sex to keep him from wanting to continue our sex with actual penetration.
“Damn,” he continued to curse through shortness of breath. “That’s why I love you.”
I giggled seductively. “Is that the only reason why?”
“Hell no, but it’s a damn good one. I can go back to sleep now.”
“Go ahead. I’ll wake you up when breakfast is ready.”
“Can’t. I have to call Star’s lawyer back.”
Immediately, I got excited. “He calle
d?! What did he say?!”
Blood had such a close relationship with Star’s new lawyer because he was Blood’s lawyer as well. Star’s previous lawyer was okay, but she wasn’t as use to getting folks off on murder charges as I needed her to be. With his list of clientele, Blood’s lawyer, Mr. William Reed, was use to such a task. He had gotten people off that were really guilty, so freeing Star was hopefully going to be a piece of cake for him.
“He left a voicemail saying that he was just following up. The motion for a new trial won’t go before the judge for a few weeks, so all we can do is wait for now.”
I didn’t let that news get me too excited or relieved. I wouldn’t be able to relax until Star was free and I was picking her up from that prison.
As Blood got back comfortable under the covers and turned on the television, he asked, “You’re still not going to tell Star about the new lawyer?”
I replied as I slipped on some shorts and a tank so that I could go start breakfast. “She still won’t respond to any of my letters,” I said with a sigh. “It’s obvious that she doesn’t want to talk to anyone, so I don’t want to bother her until she is officially granted a new trial.”
Blood sighed and shook his head. “I don’t understand how she can be surviving in there with no help.”
I looked at Blood with sadness and concern. He knew about being in prison way more than I did, so I took any and everything he said to heart.
Quickly, he tried to fix it. “But I’m sure she got a job in there to keep a few dollars on her books.”
I huffed and puffed in frustration and just tried not to think about it. Star stopped calling me and my mother a year ago. Jean, her old lawyer, gave me a message from Star after Star decided to take a deal. Star didn’t want us to worry about her anymore. She decided to face her time like a big girl, and that meant forgetting about her life outside of prison; including her family. Therefore, my mother, her son, Jordan, and I hadn’t heard from her since. I missed my sister so much and desperately wanted to be sure that she was okay, but I had to respect her wishes; while fixing this shit, of course. Though Blood got her a new lawyer, no one knew of the motion for a new trial but me and Blood. In case things didn’t work out for the best, I didn’t want to get my mother or Star’s hopes up.. I simply helped my mother with Jordan as much as I could and continuously wrote Star with hopes that one day she would write back or call.
“Oh, the run went good with Iyana last night.”
I smiled at Blood before responding. I respected him so much for always making me aware of every move that was made. Though I stayed away from any of his drug related business, he still made sure that I knew about every move, every deal, and every brick because, in his words, I was his woman and I needed to know.
“Baby, it’s not that I didn’t think it would go well. You know that I’m just still a little antsy about those things.”
“And that’s understandable. But I want you to understand that because of what happened to you, I would never be that sloppy again.”
“But I not only want you to be careful because of me. I want you to protect yourself too.”
In response, Blood simply reached over and lay his hand on my back, rubbing it to seemingly soothe my worry.
While Blood was sitting back, relaxing, and currently loving my dirty draws, I decided to let the cat out of the bag.
“Babe,” I tried to say in the sweetest voice. “Bridget came by yesterday.”
“Bridget who?”
Regretfully and cautiously, I replied, “Amiel’s wife.”
When I was pregnant, Blood thought that I was as wrong as two left shoes for never telling Amiel about my pregnancy. However, since he’s been back, he is mum’s the word when it comes to Amiel.
Blood simply continued to stare at the TV without giving me a defined response. So, I continued to be honest, “She said that Amiel really wants to see Ariana.”
“How the fuck did she find you?”
“I don’t know. She didn’t give me a definite answer to that. But she insisted that Amiel really really wants to be a part of Ariana’s life.”
For the first time since this subject came up, Blood looked me in my eyes. “And what you think about that?”
“I don’t know what to think about it.”
I honestly didn’t. For years, I was successfully able to ignore that Amiel existed. It was like he was this fictional person that didn’t really break my heart.
Yesterday, Bridget brought me back to a heartbroken reality. Though I have since moved on and know how it feels for a man to really love me, there were a lot of feelings for Amiel in my heart that hadn’t gotten the closure that they desperately wanted.
I noticed Blood looking at me in disappointment.
I nonchalantly asked, “What?”
“You got feelings for him?”
“Hell no,” I quickly answered. “What would make you ask me that?!”
“Because you ain’t never hesitated when it came to keeping him out of Ariana’s life. Now all of a sudden, you’re not sure.”
I didn’t argue with him because I was honestly ashamed that the mere sight of Bridget was able to soften my heart towards a decision that I had been so adamant about for nearly two years.
In response to my silence, Blood tsked and spit, “Like I thought, you still got feelings for dude.”
“One has nothing to do with the other! If, and that’s if, I was considering letting him be in her life, why would that insinuate that I have feelings for him?”
“All of this time you haven’t wanted Ariana to even know who Amiel is.”
“When I was pregnant, you thought I was wrong for that.”
“And even then, you wouldn’t listen to me, so what’s with the change of heart? If you don’t have feelings for him, why do you care if he wanna see her or not?”
Now, I wasn’t arguing with him because I refused to have this dumb ass discussion.
Blood was being silly, and I wasn’t about to start my day with this shit.
It surprised me how simpleminded Blood was being about this, but I just wanted to drop it. No matter how sexually frustrated I was with Blood, I realized that he loved me and had made such a dedicated commitment to make sure that I was happy.
That was something that I could never say about Amiel, so I would never allow Amiel’s feelings to fuck up my home, especially since he never let mine fuck up his.
However, I am sure that what was frustrating Blood was that he saw that I had yet to begin to love him in the same way that he witnessed me love Amiel.
VICTORIA
A few hours ago, Tricey called me with a whole bunch of irritation in her voice. Blood had just stormed out of the house with an attitude, so me and DeSire came over to keep her company.
“So, what happened? Why Blood got a attitude?”
Tricey huffed and puffed as she sat across from me at the kitchen table. DeSire and Ariana sat at a smaller child sized table eating their portion of eggs and pancakes with their hands.
Yes, Blood actually purchased a pink and white four-hundred dollar Offi child’s kitchen table for Ariana. She even had Lea Nickelodeon furniture in her bedroom that ranged in the thousands. Blood had added so many expensive furnishings, gadgets, and trinkets to Tricey’s condo. The amount of money that he wiped his ass with, so wasted it on frivolous things, was unreal.
You could see the money in Tricey as well. She was never a shabby dresser and she was always a label whore, but Blood raised her to a level that would forever be beyond my reach. Her clothing advanced from BeBe, Akira, and Arden B, sprinkled with a few expensive pieces from Nordstrom, to a closet full of Nordstrom pieces sprinkled with more than a few more expensive pieces from Gucci, Christian Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton. She still appeared to be the same ol’ loving and down to earth Tricey, but she was now a higher-end version of herself. We wore the same earrings, but her diamonds ranged in carets. We wore similar hair styles, but I bought my
hair from whatever beauty supply, when she purchased hers for hundreds of dollars because it had a specific donor and was flown in from India. We wore the same clothes, but my lounging Sunday outfit was something that I picked up from Akira, when her jogging suit cost three-hundred dollars and was from Bloomingdales.
I don’t even think that Tricey required this level of swag. I really just think that it’s what she was forced to wear because Blood bought so many of her clothes that she was forced into the same level of swag that he was.
“Because Blood thinks that I still have feelings for Amiel.”
Huh? I hadn’t heard that name in so long that I actually forgot who Amiel was for a second.
Tricey answered my silent confusion with a sigh. “I know. Stupid, right?”
“Why would he even think that?”
Again, Tricey sighed in frustration. “Well, yesterday, Bridget popped up at my door.”
My mouth dropped instantly.
“She came by to tell me that I should let Amiel be a part of Ariana’s life. Apparently, he has been talking about it for years and he really wants to see her; so bad that Bridget felt it necessary to come tell me.”
“How did she find out where you live?”
“I don’t know; nothing a people search couldn’t have told her, though.”
All I could say was, “Wow.”
Then Tricey added, “And she told me that she and Amiel are divorced.” My eyes bucked as she continued. “They divorced right after Ariana was born.”
“Do you think that she’ll tell him where you live?”
“I don’t know. When she left, it sounded like she was going to leave that up to me.”
“What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know. The older Ariana gets, the more I feel bad for purposely keeping her father out of her life. You can’t pay my father to want a relationship with me, so who am I to purposely keep that away from Ariana?”
