Callyn and I are chillin’ in my room when we feel a drop in the temperature.
“Catori,” a mystical voice calls out to me.
“Girl, are you seeing this?”
“Uh-huh.”
“Good, then I’m not crazy. Um, can I help you?”
“You have been deemed worthy to receive a gift.”
The entity floats over to me and places a chilly palm against my forehead. I shouldn’t have been able to feel him, he’s see through for crying out loud. For a moment, I can’t see anything. Then suddenly, everything seems clearer. My mind feels more open and free.
“You have been given the gift of visions. Use them and aid your Alpha Queen.”
“I thought Kelsey was the new prophetess?”
“She no longer has the gift. I have taken the gift from her and given it to you.”
The entity leaves just as quickly as he came. I look over at Callyn. She is standing there with her mouth open as well.
“Ho. Ly. Shit.”
I loved writing Queen’s Guard, watching the characters grow as the story took place. I want to say thank you to everyone who took a chance on a new author and read Royals. You have made my dream a reality. This book is for those of you who enjoyed or loved Royals enough to continue reading the Shifter Royalty Trilogy, by getting Queen’s Guard. Next up is the conclusion, with Alpha Queen.
I’m looking to release book 3 in late September. I have a big life changing event happening in June, and for a few weeks at least, I may not be able to write as much as I would like. So, I am giving myself a little leeway for the release.
I know I said that there would be flashbacks to the Alpha Queen and what happened to her. After much consideration, I decided not to do that. Instead, I will be writing a novella. There will be two parts. The first part of the novella will be about Alpha Queen and that fateful night. The second part will be about the handmaiden’s journey. This will not be released until book 3 is out. I also plan on writing a novella about Callyn and her boys and their life sometime after the conclusion of book 3.
By the time you are reading this, book 1 will have been re-edited and re-formatted. I want to give a BIG thank you to Tammy Sullivan and Sara Loverock for taking the time out of your day to re-read Royals and sending me the edits. You made going back and re-editing the book easier. I am forever grateful.
I’m sending a thank you out to my husband, again...lol… for putting up with the craziness. Thank you Stacey B and Ashley Keller for your constant support and input.

I lose all sense of control when he touches me like this, just the right amount of soft and rough. Right now are the soft kisses to my neck, as he stands behind me. But I know what is coming and I love it, only with him though. Just like clockwork, he wraps my ponytail around his hand before he tugs me back. I land against him. His hand traces the path of my neck before he grips my jaw, turning my head toward him. I look him in his eyes, silently begging him to give me what I want...his mouth on mine. He knows it too, by the look on his face and the smile on his lips.
“I know what you want, baby, and I plan on giving you that and so much more.”
He leans down and captures my lips with his. Yes, this is what I want. I love the feel of his body against mine. He uses his teeth to bite and tug on my lower lip; I moan. He takes advantage of the moment and slips his tongue in my mouth. I don’t know if it’s just him or the angle in which we are kissing, but it’s doing things to me that I never thought possible. The hand holding my jaw moves. It’s now trailing down my neck, stopping to cup my breast.
“Do you know how beautiful you are?” he whispers in my ear.
I can feel him let go of my hair, bringing that hand to cup and gently squeeze my other breast. His lips are trailing kisses up and down my neck.
“Are you sure you want to do this? We can wait,” he asks.
I shake my head. “I want this, with you, right now. I feel like I should warn you, I’ve been with one of the others first.”
“I’m okay with that. It makes what I want to do with you so much better. I’ll go easy, if you want me to.”
“No, I want everything. I want you just the way you are.”
“Then that’s what you will get.”
His hands move to the hem of my shirt, quickly pulling it over my head, tossing it to the side. He moves his head to the other side of my neck and starts to kiss and nip. Wasting no time, his hands find the closure on the front of my bra, flicking it open. His hands find my breast and kneads them, but not for long. My nipples end up between his fingers, where he pinches and tugs on them. It’s like a straight shot to my groin. An arm wrapping around my waist is the only thing that keeps me standing.
“Don’t worry, baby, I’ve got you,” he says before he turns me around and lifts me.
I wrap my legs around his waist; my arms going around his neck, as he walks us over to his bed. I start kissing his neck, moving my way up to his ear. I lightly nip at his earlobe, getting the response I want, him moaning. He quickened his pace. I only let go of him because I feel myself being laid on something soft. I feel my heart pounding, not out of fear but anticipation.
He kisses my lips, then my neck, making his way down to my breast. He stops to give each nipple attention, causing me to gasp and rock against him. All he does is chuckle. He continues to kiss his way down my body. He stops right at the top of my jeans.
“Hm, seems like we have a little problem. But don’t worry, I can fix that.”
He undoes the button on my jeans and slowly works the zipper. The sound of the zipper being pulled down can be heard in the quiet of the room. I feel his hands at my hips gripping the material. I lift my hips up so he can move my jeans the rest of the way down. He makes quick work of my pants. He starts kissing a path up my leg, stopping at the juncture between my thighs.
I hear him inhale, then growl. “You smell so sweet. I can’t wait to taste you.” I can’t wait for it either.
Instead of sliding my panties off, he tugs at the side and rips them away. He takes a step back. I follow his eyes as they roam up and down my body.
“So, beautiful.”
I watch as he pulls his shirt up over his head. I knew he was hiding a rockin’ body. He pops open the button on his pants, slowly lowering the zipper. I can’t help but watch in rapture. He quickly divest himself of not only his jeans but his boxers as well. He’s hard in all the right places. I’m a little nervous about
his size, but I know he would never do anything to intentionally hurt me.
Slowly, he crawls his body over mine, kissing a path along the way. My legs naturally fall apart making room for him to settle his body between them. I can feel his hard length pressed against my core. I want nothing more than for him to enter me, to ease the ache that he has caused since we began this. But no, he is drawing out my torture just a little bit longer.
He props himself up on one arm, not fully putting his weight on me. His other hand slides down between our body. I let out a moan at the first touch of his fingers running through my slit. One of his fingers slowly enters me, causing me to move against his hand.
“You’re so wet for me.”
All I could do was nod because he is right. He pumps that finger nice and slow before adding a second. He twist his fingers slightly hitting a spot I didn’t even know existed. His thumb starts to make a circle motion around my clit. My breath is coming out in pants. I can feel myself reaching the precipice.
One of my hands finds his hair, and I can’t help but to pull on it. My other hand is gripping the bed sheets. I’m so close, it’s right there, when he suddenly removes his fingers.
“No.”
He chuckles. I’m about to give him a stern look, but I don’t get a chance to because he flips me over to my stomach. He positions me how he wants me, ass up, legs almost together, the top of my body flush against the bed. He moves until his legs are on the outside of mine. I feel him teasing me with his cock, rubbing it up and down my ass. He leans over my body, pulling my head back slightly before reaching down to place the most explosive kiss to my lips. He pulls back, and I moan at the loss of him. I hear him open and close the drawer of his nightstand. The sound of the foil being ripped echoes through the hushed room. He leans back over me placing a kiss to my neck. He moves his mouth until his lips are right by my ear.
“Don’t worry, baby, I’m about to give you exactly what we both want,” he whispers, right before he pulls back slightly and plunges himself into me.
