The Perfect Woman Page 27

by Abundis, Jesse

“ This is all I can help with.” Said this poor old fool, who pulled out his change and knelt down to hand to the beggar, never seeing the sharp blade under his coat, never seeing it pierce his throat, all this poor man felt was a hard pinch under his neck, for a moment he thought the sensation was just his mind playing tricks or maybe a nerve that he tweaked while extending his hand ,but that soon changed once he felt his warm blood spill onto this chest. “ What..” He tried to speak but choked on his own blood.

It was instinct to cover up the wound, hope to make it out alive. the poor man ran in circles, banging against the walls, stumbling with each footstep he took. In the end he fell to the floor, his fingers scratching at the pavement hoping to find the strength to drag himself to safety, feeling the life drain from his body. Never knowing the reason for it all. Just a simple man looking to help the needy, bring a little joy into someone’s heart.

“ I needed this,” The fake beggar told the dying man. “ I needed to feed something dark inside me.” He let his fingers touch the pool of blood, drawing circles on the pavement floor. “ You have no idea how grateful I am to you, I think after today I can move on, I don‘t feel angry anymore, I don‘t feel anything.” How his happiness would be dash the moment he turned away.

“ What are you doing here?” He cried out in agony, cursing under his breath as she stood there in front of him. “ No, you shouldn’t be!” He shouted once more.

“ Why won't you leave me alone!?” Miranda, still as beautiful as the last time they met, her eyes gazing at him as she did that night, refusing to let this sad soul rest. “ What do you want from me?” He begged to her, knowing she would never say a word.

  Lust

“ When, ok. I’ll take care of it, I promise.” Jasmine spoke as softly as she could as her customer was taking a shower. “ I’ll meet you at your place later tonight.” She could hear the turning of the valves and his search for his towel. “ I have to go.” Jasmine slipped her cell phone under her pillow as Lucas came walking into the bedroom.

“ You talking to someone?” He asked as he dried his balding head off, squinting to look at her due to his poor vision, the only way he could see was threw his thick rim glasses. He wrapped a towel over his exposed penis, hiding the shame of shrinkage to the young pink haired firecracker, he paid to sleep with each morning and night since he arrived into town. Lucas enjoyed to delude himself in believing he had someone that cared for him, something he knew he‘d never be able to enjoy. He knew the girls he paid only projected what he wanted to see, but there was something different about Jasmine, she had this charm to her, her words were like a siren calling out to you, it was hard to resist. Everything felt so real, he wonder if this was truly love, how his heart raced with the idea. Though apart of him told him to get his feet under him, he had a job to do first.

“ Nope, just waiting for you.” She slip under the covers, yawning.

“ I don’t think I’ll be able to keep you company,” He put on his glasses that made him look twenty years older, and one hundred times less attractive. But in his fogged up eyes he saw a man bulging with a Hercules physique standing in front of the mirror, one that could woe any woman he damned pleased. “ Just got a text from my buyers, they need me to get a little more aggressive with this bitch I’m dealing with, a real fucking nut.” Lucas grabbed his throat, still feeling her nails that dug into his neck that moment in the alley, he could have sworn that she planned to kill him there and then, her face was of a saint but her eyes were like the fiery depths of hell itself.

“ How bad are you going to hurt her?” Jasmine pulled away the sheets and slowly walked over to Lucas spooning him from behind, Lucas could feel the warmth of her crotch and scent of pleasure as he hint at brutality, it wasn‘t the first time, she would always beg him to tell her the most disturbing stories, ones that would make anyone nauseous, but for her it was all about seeking pleasure from them.

“ I'm going to snap this bitches neck.” And how he loved to tease her, he could hear her breathing pick up, he could feel her grinding against his body. “ I’ve hurt people before,” this felt like any good moment to bare his soul to her. “ Men, women, kids, I just do what my buyer tells me to do, I‘m not a nice guy, Jasmine.” She jumped on top of his back wrapping her arms around his neck. “ I‘m a real monster.” He said to her.

“ I know, silly.” She giggled like a school girl with her pink hair covering her smile. “ Why do you think I like being with you.”

“ You got issues.” He chuckled.

“ You wanna know what I know?” She giggled louder into his ear, nibbling it a little, just to tease him.

“ What’s that?” He asked, trying to keep his erection from growing anymore than it already was.

“ Were going to have lots of fun right now.” Her teeth shivered like she was fighting a chill.

“ Well, it’s going to have to wait.” He cleared his throat as her grip slowly began to tightened.

“ No can do.” She nibbled on his ear.

“ Babe, the sun will be up anytime now and I got a lot of work to do,” He tap her shoulder. “ Loosen your grip, babe.” Only to feel her wrap and push down his windpipe with more force.

“ You know the saying, that looks can be deceiving?” She whipped her back, so he could get a good look at her face throw the mirror.

  “ Yeah.” He nervously chuckled.

“ People should really take that saying to heart.”

  Chapter 80

  Mother Of Mine

“ Dad, where will I go?” It was like looking at an old t.v sitcom from those black and white television sets, every ten seconds you could hear that god awful laugh track, laughing insanely at anything coming out of the mouth of the actors, only problem was that this wasn’t a comedy, this was a tragedy, the life and times of Karen Chernetsky. “ Please don’t make me leave, dad, please.” Her eyes full of tears, she was just seventeen, two months from her eighteenth birthday, she grasped on to her father’s arm begging him to look at her as he packed her clothes.

“ You just need to leave, I’m doing this to help you, honey.” Every word coming out his mouth was killing his soul, but as a father your first instinct was to protect your child from harms way, no matter what the cost. “ You just need to run and never look back, just remember that, never turn back.” He pulled out a cell phone from his pocket. “ You keep this, I’ll call you once your far from here, we just need to hurry.”

“ Dad, I‘m ..” If you looked into her eyes at that moment, your heart would break.

He never let her finish that sentence. “ No, you have nothing to be sorry about, you did nothing wrong.” He placed his hands on her face. “ Just remember, wherever you go and wherever you are, I will always love you.” End of scene, everything fades into white. The audience applauds.

Without a second notice Karen finds herself in the middle of the Vegas strip, she knows this day well, she remembers the moment, this is where she decides to travel to South Carolina and start new again. Her hair is blonde, her eyes are blue and there’s 50% less tattoos on her body. She’s a different entity altogether. Still looking for a place to call home.

“ You look different, is this the part of your life you’ve kept hidden?” Peewee stands in front of her laughing, appearing out of nowhere. he looks younger, more of a child. “ I never pictured you for a blonde.” She wanted to say something to him, apologize, for what reason she couldn‘t figure out why, but the words failed to come out. “ You sure do a lot of running, isn’t it time you just came face to face with reality. I mean, none of us are perfect?”

Peewee vanishes, and her mother appears, standing in the crowd of people. Her eyes of judgment and distrust looking down upon her, standing beside her is the Detective that came into her bedroom, smiling. “ Please tell me you didn’t do this?” Karen screams out to her mother.

  * * *

She’s left with no answer, just a cold swea
t as she awoke from her dream. She couldn’t keep the image of her mother out of her mind, it was coming at her like a fright train. Karen could hear Peewee snoring, holding tightly to his Batman action figure beside her. She took a moment to collect her breath as the sun poked out from the building to the east, she grabbed her cell phone and stepped outside the apartment building, whatever she had to say she didn’t want him or anyone else to hear. This was too personal, too revealing, it was the past, it was her beginning, she wasn’t ready to let anyone behind that wall just yet.

No matter how many years had past she still remember the number by heart, the phone rang for a few seconds until someone picked up. “ Hello?” How the tears wanted to rain down from her damage soul, thirteen years had passed since she heard that voice call out to her, even with all that happened she missed it to the bloody end. “ Is anyone there?”

“ Speak Karen.” Her inner voiced shouted at her, hoping to get anything to spew out of her mouth. “ I know, I’m not suppose to call unless it’s an emergency.” She hoped for something grander, a reaction of love, yearning, but who was she fooling.

“ What do you want?” Karen’s mother Janice wasted no time in showing the hate she had for her daughter.

“ Hey,” She almost cried, but held it together. She felt like asking how they were doing, but knew small talk would be a waste of time.“ I need to know something, something important.”

She could hear her mother sigh. “ Have you lost your mind, I‘m hanging up.”

“ Someone’s after me.” She cried out before her mother had a chance to end the call.

She could hear her mother breathing heavily, wanting this conversation to end, every second on the phone seemed to slowly take away her life. Karen wanted to call her “mom. ” missing those moments when she could, always remembering how she wanted to fight to break away from them in her youth, now she was the black sheep her mother would never take back even if they held a gun to the back of her head. “ Janice, please, I just need to know who this guy is. He‘s been stalking me, he broke into my apartment in the middle of the night, he says he‘s a detective working for the Mosers, he‘s claiming they want some sort of retribution for Ryan. I don‘t know how they found me.”

It was a long pause before she answered. “ I helped them.” Janice voice was clam and stale, no emotion at all. “ I had to.”

“ Why?” Karen felt her body give under her, but somehow she was still standing. Perhaps deep inside her she knew this time would come. “ Mom, why would you do that?!”

“ Don’t call me that, please don’t ever call me that.” Janice growled at her, how hearing Karen say the word mother lit a fire into her like no other. “ I had to, they lost more than a son that night, we both did. We all knew the truth. But you‘re father protected you, even when he shouldn‘t. ”

“ Ryan's death was an accident and I am the one everyone blames for it! ” Karen took a seat on the curb of the street. Seeing from afar an old man pushing a cart full of cans, starting his day fighting to make his living.

“ They were looking for you long ago, they hounded us to tell them where you were, but we had no clue where you were. You know how hard it was to pass them on the streets and have to look them in the eye, knowing the lost and hurt they felt!” She shouted over the phone, Karen took the anger, she needed to hear this. “ I had to reach out to them, I needed to help them, but before I could tell them anything, your father cut off the trail, he knew what I was up to. So he stopped sending you money, destroyed everything he knew about you. The Mosers and I were left to find you by other means. We hired professionals to track you down, but they fell short. Until now.”

Karen shook her head, knowing none of this should surprise her, yet it did. “ And the man that came into my bedroom, what did you pay him to do?”

Her mother took one final breath, feeling the weight come off her shoulders. “ We hired the man that came into your apartment to do what exactly needs to be done. You have to pay for your crimes. Blood for blood.”

“ Where’s dad?” Karen wanted to hear her father’s voice, knowing this might be the very last time she got to hear it.

“ No, I won‘t let you manipulate him, he‘s a good man and you‘ve taken his soul away. You made him into something he shouldn‘t have been.”

“ You think I killed Ryan, you really think I would murder the person that I loved.” Karen wasn’t sure how her tone should come out, offended, shock, in tears? She waited for her mother to answer her back.

Only to have one quick reply. “ I‘m sorry, darling, you‘re lost. I curse the good lord for not killing you when you were in my womb.”

“ I swear to God, mother, I will see you again.” Karen meant those words with all her soul.

“ Will you kill me too?” She asked with a half chuckle. “ Is that what I raised, a cold blooded killer.”

“ You didn’t raise anyone mother, you were too busy acting upper class.” Karen fired back.

“ I got nothing else to say to you.” Janice’s stuttered to say those words, who could blame her, the cold tone in her daughter's voice was enough to make you think the end of days was about to rain down on you, ready to take your soul to the fiery pits of hell. “ Now leave me be.” She said before hanging up.

Karen cradle the phone her in hand, knowing what she had to do, where this would end. Apart of her couldn’t bare it. A life without Peewee, her only friend. Force to live another life, somewhere far from here.

She turned off her cell and took a walk to clear her head, where she would go wasn’t really important to her. The further the better, she just needed to get away from everything right now. Be alone, like it always should have been.

  Chapter 81

Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are

For a moment Peewee thought it was all in his dream, as he pranced around naked through the halls of a school with other faceless people, but he could hear Maggie’s ring tone blaring through out the school. It took a second for his mind to make the connection, he awoke quickly swooping to pick up the phone right beside him in a flash. “ Maggie, don’t hang up, I’m here.” He mumbled, cleaning the drool off his chin.

It took her a moment to answer back. “ Where are you?” She asked.

“ I’m at Karen’s,” He turned around to see the other empty side of the bed, he couldn’t hear her walking around, he could only wonder where she would have gone. “ just going over the case.” He wiped the crust from his eyes.

“ Sweetie,” Her voice crackled. “ I found something.”

  Peewee stood upright. “ What?”

“ I found the apartment where Lisa's boyfriend used to live.”

Peewee rolled out of bed quickly as he could, he grabbed his worn out jeans and began to slip them on. “ Maggie, where are you, Karen and I can stop by there now. Don’t go inside without us.” He cursed as he failed to find his sneakers.

“ There’s no one inside,” Her voice prattled. “ He’s long gone, I know I should have told you, but I just wanted to see it with my own eyes first.”

Peewee didn’t need a reason, he would have done the same. He was just glad Maggie hadn't run away, knowing she was still with him meant the world to him. “ I know, Maggie, I know. How did you find the place?”

“ One of her neighbors just remember about the studio apartment she had told her about. Can you come?”

“ Maggie, I’ll be there right now.” He walked through the apartment but found no trace of Karen. “ What’s the direction?”

“ It’s in the east side of the Bronx, 16th and Jefferson, first you’ll pass an old fashion Italian restaurant name Sergio’s, just keep going straight for the next five blocks, then just turn left.”

“ Ok, Mag’s. I’ll be there right now.” He hung up the phone to get a hold of Karen but was sent straight to voicemail. “ Karen, you idiot where are you? Maggie just found us our next big lead in the case, she found the apartment the psycho was living in, I’m go
ing there right now. I’ll give you another ring when I get there, let’s hope this puts us face to face with that sick bastard. Peace out.”

  Chapter 82

  Tell Me When

“ Where did you get this one?” Klecko hid under the sheets, grasping on to his stiff cock as his mistress regaled him with one of her stories, he knew they were just pure fiction, maybe from a bored housewife looking to put some spice into her life, but she describe each one with so much passion and vivid imagery.

“ I caught him all by myself,” She giggled. “ I jumped on his back and just choked him out, he tried to fight me off, but when I’m persistent, it’s kinda hard to get me off.”

“ Is that right,” He used the tip of his fingers to rub the head of his shaft, building to the moment. “ how big was he?”

“ six feet four Inches, two hundred twenty-four pounds and the owner of some butt ugly glasses.” Klecko's mistress could hear his breathing pick up, that brought a smile to her face, knowing what he was doing to himself. “ I’m just chopping his body into pieces, having his hot juicy blood spill all over my naked body. Too bad you didn’t call early, would have got to see all the gory fun.”

“ Why are you chopping him up?” Klecko began to pick up his pace, almost feeling himself moan out his words as he spoke. “ You gonna feed him to someone?”

His mistress could only giggle and blush as she pictured her lover playing with himself under the sheets. “ You make my life complete, you truly do.” She said to him as she shoved a severed head into a box, posted at stamped to be delivered to Kansas, to a one Janice Chernetsky. “ Let’s see if we can’t get you off before noon, so where should I begin with my story, should I start how I sawed off his groin?”
