Thank you to my friends and family for your support! Everyone has listened to me complain endlessly about editing and working through what I believe is best for the story. I still have a long way to go in my writing career, but it’s great to have such a supportive base.

  About the Author

Madison Diaz enjoys writing romance novels about as much as she enjoys reading them. Relatable characters who get swept away by the power and magic of love are often her favorite. Steamy sex scenes are a plus too.

She attends Texas State University where she's majoring in Mass Communication and minoring in Writing (had to be safe). Texas and Florida are her home states where she's gone back and forth throughout her life.

  No Expectations

He’s everything and more. I wish he saw me as more than just some kid. I wish I knew what to say to make him notice me. But I’m too late, the moment passed, and he’s gone.

  Emilia

Without school as a distraction, I’m lonely as hell. No boyfriend this year. No friends. All I had were my dogs and my customers. Then he noticed me. I was invisible at home but seen by his soft knowing eyes. He’d pierced my soul with a glance and a simple question before he showed me what it felt like to be wanted. Maybe I could grow up and become a woman worthy of him after all.

  Stephen

Spending the holidays alone shouldn’t have felt this devastating. How could I still not enjoy my own company? Maybe I’ve depended on my family too much. They should be able to live their own lives for a few days. I could manage. Besides, how could I fall apart when she was right there? Her sweet innocent eyes looked into mine and I knew she’d take the loneliness away. I would do anything to keep her coming back.

  Coming soon!

  Not Ready

Who knew staying just friends could be so hard?

  Melissa

Our arrangement is supposed to be only temporary. This isn’t one of those girl-moves-in-then-falls-madly-in-love-with-hunky-roommate stories. I mean, those don’t happen in real life, right? I’m just a dorky, heartbroken girl looking for a place to stay for a few months while I get back on my feet, and Alex is kind enough to offer me his second bedroom. We’re just friends, and that’s it!

  Alex

Look, I’ll admit it. I’m a nice guy. I’m the type to give someone in need the shirt off my back if it could make that person’s life even slightly easier. That’s why there’s really nothing to it when I invite Melissa to stay in my spare bedroom temporarily. She’s my sister’s friend and a woman in need. The fact that she’s absolutely gorgeous has nothing to do with it. We’re just friends, and that’s all!
