Dressed in a black and white crossover bandaged dress, I left little to the imagination. I made sure the dress was tight enough to revel the small baby bump I was sporting. Spraying myself with my Daisy perfume I slipped my feet in a pair of black Dolce and Gabbana pumps. I turned around in my full body mirror making sure that everything was in place. Grabbing my pink MAC lip-gloss I made sure my lips were extra glossy.

The wedding was being held on the beach and the reception on their yacht. I had to give it to Lala she really did have great taste. I followed her around for months as her and her wedding planner planned her wedding I was low key jealous, but after tonight I was sure Stacks would finally be mine for good.

Since today was a day filled with festivities, I decided to drive my cocaine white Audi convertible. When I arrived to the weeding, I made sure to place my oversized Dolce and Gabbana shades over my face. I didn’t want anyone to recognize me until it was my time to reveal myself. I sat in the very back and waited for the wedding that I was about to crash to begin.

  Chapter 38

  Stacks

I sat in my dresser room checking myself out in the all white Armani suit I was wearing. My face was neatly shaved, my haircut was on point, a nigga was looking and feeling good. Today was the day I was taking myself off the market for good and I had no problems with doing that.

Lala was the love of my life, the mother of my children, and although we’d been through hell and back we always found our way back together. She was my soul mate and there was no way I was going to live my life without her being apart of it.

The wedding cost me eighty grand and it was worth all my hard earned money. Just to see the smile on my wife face as she put her all into planning this event was priceless. I would have been ok with us getting married in the courthouse, but she wanted something small and intimate, so I was cool with it. A soft knock at my door interrupted me from my thoughts. Getting up to open the door, I was greeted by my twins they were now eleven months old and walking and running around.

“Da-da,” my baby girl called out to my opening her arms, so that I could pick her up. She looked so cute in her white little dress with her yellow bows neatly tying up her head filled with curls. Kissing her on the cheeks, I put her down and picked up my handsome son that was looking sharper than ever in his mini all white Armani suit. Next month, my kids would be one, so it was time for me to put another baby in Lala. If I was lucky another set of twins.

“Bruh, you ready?” Ralph asked taking a seat on the red plush sofa that was in my dressing room.

“I don’t think I am going to be more ready than this.”

“My dawg about to be off the thot market,” he laughed.

“I been off the thot market bruh and what you laughing for? You next.”

“Yeah, I hear you. Ain’t shit out there but hoodrats and bitches with their hands out. We got us some good women.”

“Five minutes.” The planner knocked on the door interrupting our conversation “I was looking everywhere for you babies,” she said picking up the twins and walking out the room with them

“I hear you bruh. Let’s get this show on the road.” I said grabbing my suit jacket and putting it on.

Taking my spot under the shed that Lala and I were going to get married under, I took a look at our guest. We didn’t fuck with too many people so there were only about sixty people in attendance. The wedding started as Ralph and Lisa walked down the aisle pulling the twins in a wagon. When they took their place, I waked up to the mic and waited for the instrumental to play. Lala had no clue that she would to be walking down the aisle to my voice. I had the wedding planner to keep that part a secret.

Ooh, ooh hoo, I wanna be, girl, let me be

I wanna be everything your man’s not

And I’m gonna give you every little thing I’ve got

‘Cause you are more than a man needs

That’s why I say you’re truly my destiny

I’m gonna getcha if it takes me until forever

No, you don’t feel me, if forever turns into never

I’ll let you know my love is just as strong

And for you never just ain’t that long, ohh

I wanna be the smile you put on your face

  (Oh, yes)

I wanna be your hands when you say your grace

  (Say it, baby)

I wanna be whatever is your favorite place

  (Girl)

Oh, I just wanna be close

  (Close to you)

I began to sing the words to Avant I Wanna Be Close as Lala walked down the aisle wearing a beautiful custom made all white Vera Wang dress that she had custom made. She looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle with the assistance of my father. The closer she got, I noticed that she had tears coming out of her eyes. It was getting real hard for me to sing the song without choking up.

See my life’s filled with up and downs

  (My life’s filled)

  (Up and downs)

  I’m okay when you’re around

  (I’m okay)

  (Yeah)

And when I’m in a storm and my nights are cold

  (In a storm)

Reach out your hands for me to hold

  (Out your hands)

  (For me to hold)

See you’re my queen on a throne

  (My queen)

  (Yeah)

And you’re the reason for a song

  (This song)

  And I can’t wait

  (Can’t wait)

To fill you up with love

  (Fill you up with love)

  Fill you with love

I wanna be the sun your stars and your moon

I wanna be a hot summer day in June

I wanna be the smell of your sweet perfume

  I just wanna be close

I was able to finish up the song without shedding a tear. When my father gave Lala away to me then, I lost it. I wasn’t able to hold back the tears. Embracing my soon to be wife, I held her tight in my arms as my tears stained her dress. No matter how much of a thug you were, every nigga was bound to cry on their wedding day. Just seeing the love of your life so beautiful knowing that you’re about to stand before God and make that woman yours forever was a very emotional thing. Getting myself together, I used the back of my hand to wipe my tears and the pastor to begin.

“Anthony Stacks Jones.” Lala laughed as she began her vows. “The love of my life. The man that saved me from a horrible relationship and showed me what it felt like to truly feel loved. I still remember the day I crashed in the back of your car. I still can feel those same butterflies that I felt when I first laid eyes on you. Once upon a time, I thought that James was the love of my life. I thought it would be him standing here in your spot and it was us getting married. But God has a funny way of working. What you want isn’t always what you need. God put you in my life not only to be my husband, but to be my best friend, my partner. For us to become one. We now have three beautiful children and I can only wish that God continues to bless our family. I love you with all my heart and I am truly honored to become Mrs. Anthony Jones.”

“Three kids? Are you pregnant?” I asked looking her in the eyes that were now clouded with tears. She nodded her head yes and the crowd began to clap and cheer.

“Lala Williams, my queen. I am at loss for words right now; you caught me off guard with that one. I’m usually on top of my game with finding out before you do, but I guess you caught me slipping.” I laughed. “I’m just so ready to spend the rest of my life with you. I am ready to show you how it feels to be treated like royalty I am ready to wake up to you every morning as husband and wife. I’m ready to come home to a house filled with babies. I love everything about you from your smile to the way you snore. I believe that we were meant for one another and I am the luckiest man alive to have a wonderful woman as yourself to call my wife.”

“Do anyone here know why these two shouldn’t be married? Speak now
.” the pastor spoke out to the crowd.

“I do,” I heard a voice said and I pulled out my gun and turned around and pointed toward the person’s directions.

As she removed the big hat and the shades that she was wearing, I instantly froze. I was at a loss for words as my past decided to come fuck with me on my wedding day.

“Those two shouldn’t be married because I am also pregnant with Stacks’ child,” she said as she rubbed her hand over her small baby bump “I guess you’re about to be a father of Four,” she laughed

Lala snatched the gun out of my hand and pointed it in her direction.

“Lala noooo!!” I yelled trying to reach for the gun. No matter how bad I wanted to body the bitch, I had to make sure that the baby she was carrying was mine first. There was a chance that I could have fathered her baby and if in fact that was my child, I would feel like shit if something was to happen to it.

Lala’s eyes was filled with so much pain and hurt as she pointed the gun directly at the wedding crasher’s stomach. Her fingers began inching towards the trigger, so I tackled her to the ground trying to get the gun from her, but it was too late.

  POW! POW! POW!
