I thrust hard once, then stopped. It was humiliating and frustrating as all hell. And I loved it.
"Do it. Fuck yourself on my fingers," he growled. "And keep that ass on display. Don't stop until you come."
He twisted his fingers inside me briefly. It was enough to set me off and I started rocking back on his fingers.
"Grind that wet pussy into the dresser," he commanded, slapping my ass hard, and making me yelp into the gag at the bite of pain.
Oh God.
I found a rhythm, doing everything he said.
"Mmm," he said. "Look at you dirtying the furniture with your cum. Fucking my fingers like it's my cock pounding you so fucking hard that you can hardly breathe. Fuck them harder. Make yourself come! Now!"
I picked up my pace, ramming myself back on his fingers as hard as I could, while rubbing my pussy on the edge of the dresser.
"You have ten seconds to come, or your chance is over."
No! No! No!
"Your pussy's drenched. Cum dripping down my fingers. All down your thighs."
He leaned over me, catching me off guard and sending a thrill through me.
I was right on the edge when he demanded in a seductive whisper, "Come. Come now!"
And I did! On command! It was so intense that my entire body convulsed. I screamed and screamed into the gag and dug my nails into my ass cheeks as it crashed over me.
When I finally came down, I slumped against the dresser and pulled the gag out of my mouth, fighting to catch my breath.
It took me a few moments, but when I finally managed it, I pushed off the dresser and turned to see D sitting on the bed, his cock out of his jeans, wrapped in a condom.
He crooked his finger at me, a sly smirk playing on his lips, his eyes hooded with desire.
His gaze raked over me, fucking me with his eyes alone, sending tingles of pleasure straight to my clit.
"Sit on my cock," he ordered as I reached the bed.
His dark gaze burned into mine as I straddled him and slowly impaled myself on his thick length. He didn't react, no sound coming from him, no movement. His eyes remained fixed on mine. I realized it was him shoring up his control, his dominance helping him to reclaim it. It was invigorating knowing that I could drive him wild like that and also give him that peace that he'd been desperate for just by being here for him and trusting in him.
I reached out to grasp his shoulders, both for leverage to ride him and because I wanted to touch him so badly. He denied me, instead, guiding my hands down to the mattress either side of his thighs.
"Hard," he said. "Make me come."
"I—"
He pressed his finger to my lips. "Shh."
I nodded my understanding, my eyes communicating an apology. He was in charge here.
A slap to my ass jolted me back to my task and I started to ride him, easy for the first couple of thrusts to get used to the feel of him. Then I picked up the pace and slammed down on him hard. He groaned and dug his fingers into the mattress, fighting to keep it together as I fucked myself roughly on his cock.
Pleasure building quickly, I started to lose myself to it.
I was vaguely aware of a drawer opening and closing, and then I jolted as I felt something warm and wet start to ream my asshole. Knowing him, a lubed dildo.
His hand clamped down on my right hip, stopping me from moving. I looked to see his eyes dark and hungry, as he growled, "Don't move."
I obeyed and he eased it into my ass. Slow and easy. Methodically. Carefully. Fisting my hands in the duvet, I fought not to react and thrust back to drive it deeper. I loved when he played with my ass and with his cock buried deep in my pussy right now as well, the sensation was all the more incredible.
He started thrusting shallowly. I was almost out of my mind with it when he finally started driving deeper.
And then the twisting began.
"Yes!" I cried out, unable to hold back a buck.
A sharp slap to each ass cheek sent a stinging reminder that I'd neglected to keep still like he'd commanded.
He pulled the dildo out quickly, startling me. Then, he plunged it back in roughly, driving it deep and making the breath whoosh from my lungs.
His eyes lit up, enjoying the reaction from me.
"Fuck yourself with my cock," he commanded.
He was still holding the dildo deep in my ass perfectly still.
That all changed the moment I started riding his cock.
He jackhammered the dildo into me with one hand. His other grasped my left breast, just as his mouth descended upon the other, licking and sucking my nipple. He alternated between the two, while fucking my ass furiously with the dildo.
"Fuck!" I screamed, as he completely overwhelmed me.
Pleasure spiked everywhere. I couldn't draw in a full breath.
"Harder!" he ordered.
I picked up my pace.
Then he started tapping my clit rapidly.
And that was it.
My body erupted in one hell of an orgasm.
He pulled the dildo free, then held me to him tightly as he snarled his own release.
"Jesus Christ," he breathed, after a beat.
I collapsed into him.
It took me a moment to find my breath and regain my bearings. When I did, I propped my head up with my hands to D's chest and took in his satisfied, peaceful expression. "So, did that clear your head well enough?"
He chuckled. "Damn fucking straight."
"Good. I'm glad," I said, running my fingers through his long hair.
"See? It isn't so bad being in a cheap motel after all, is it?"
I screwed up my face. "I wouldn't go that far, but the company does make it a lot more endurable."
He grinned and eased us up into a sitting position. Losing the condom and tossing it in the trash, he pulled us into a comfortable position beneath the covers.
I felt him tensing up against me and I shot a look at him. A grim expression had come over him. "What is it?"
"My instinct is always to protect you. But, as much as it kills me, I can't see a way of keeping you out of this. Walsh was a big enough problem before we found out about his link to the Hounds of Fury." He scrubbed his hand over his face, distressed at admitting it to me. "Fuck, this kind of shit comes with the package, of the world we both walk in. All I can do is try to minimize the damage."
"Luke," I said, reaching out and stroking his cheek. "I know. You need me to order the kill with The Electi."
"I–"
An urgent knock on the door to our motel room cut right through our conversation. We were both ready to reach for our guns, when Anarchy's voice called, "We got a situation."
"Give us five!" D called back, then shot off the bed and started pulling his clothes back on. "Get dressed," he told me.
There was no way I could get dressed as quickly as him, so I hurried to the bathroom and grabbed the silk robe I'd left hanging there.
By the time I'd secured it around me and walked back into the main room, D was already in his leather pants and pulling his gray t-shirt over his head.
He shook his head at me. "I said dressed, not… that."
I looked down at myself. "What's wrong with it?"
"It doesn't exactly cover much."
It was short and thin, sure, but it was still a sufficient cover up as far as I was concerned. "Please, it's just Anarchy."
"You mean the whore of the club?"
I rolled my eyes. "Just open the door."
He grunted, but went ahead and crossed to the door anyway. He unlocked it and Anarchy came striding in, wasting no time. His eyes strayed to me briefly and he smirked.
D slapped him across the back of the head. "Lock it up, fucker."
Anarchy chuckled at D's overprotective and possessive reaction.
"What's the situation?" D asked.
"Just got word from Spartan that Haywire's breached his lockdown and he's on the move."
"What? Why didn't I get that mes
sage?"
"Probably because you always turn your phone off when you're fucking. You wanna stay in the zone, or whatever."
D grunted and folded his arms across his chest, going all business-serious. "Tell me Lone Outlaws had the sense to tag him."
Anarchy smiled. "Yeah, they had his bike tagged." He pulled out his phone and held it out for D and me to look at.
I watched the red circle moving across the map.
"Fuck," D said.
I scanned the map, trying to understand his reaction. And that was when I saw it. Oh no. "Lexhaven."
"Yeah," Anarchy confirmed. "Looks like the fucker's headed right here."
D turned to me. "Maybe to retaliate against you on Walsh's behalf for what you did to him in the suite."
I didn't miss the slight there. "Or he's being sent as a distraction from something big. He could be headed right for the garden party tomorrow," I pointed out.
"Haywire?" Anarchy laughed. "That would be a hell of a sight to see. The guy will freak out at the slightest negative look tossed his way and decimate everything in his path in his next breath. There's no way he's got the temperament to be around people like that."
D blew out a frustrated breath. "This is all just guess work. We have no real idea, nothing to go on yet. We don't know if he's coming for Sky, or to meet with Walsh, or somebody from the Fury who might be in the area."
"You still wanna risk it tomorrow?" Anarchy asked him, while gesturing at me.
Earlier, once we'd left Matt's place, D had told me about Walsh's plan to crash the garden party. I'd managed to convince him that I should go. While D would turn a lot of heads and cause a shitload of drama with the way things were between him and his dad, I could blend in. I'd been around those circles before. Sometimes, I still had to be for certain networking duties.
D nodded. "Yeah. You'll be there as her plus-one. I'll be close by. She was right about needing someone right there on the ground at the event. If Walsh makes a move against Matt, I might not get there in time with having to be outside of the venue. If Haywire comes, we'll deal with it. But we can't sit this event out. Walsh has to be making his move here, dragging Matt right along with him. We have to stop the fucker."
"So, you and me will take shifts keeping watch on Haywire's movements in the meantime?"
Anarchy asked.
"Yeah. No engagement yet."
"Copy that," Anarchy said, taking his phone back, then heading for the door.
D came to me and cupped my face lovingly. "Sorry, we're not going to act against that fucker right away, my love. We need to play this smart and safe. There's too much on the line."
Even that was a major understatement.
"Yeah, I know," I told him, hoping like hell that we'd turn up something soon, some other way to end Walsh's threat before my forty-eight-hour deadline ran out. Otherwise, my freedom from The Electi would be a thing of the past and my long struggle to carve out a legitimate empire would come crumbling down around me.
Maybe that was always meant to be the case.
Maybe some people just couldn't escape their pasts.

WHERE WAS THAT FUCKER?
The Annual Reilly Garden Party had been underway for the last two hours and there'd been no sign of Walsh.
I was stuck outside a couple of blocks from the Reilly estate on my motorcycle, just sitting on my fucking hands. Fortunately, I'd been able to call upon Jesse's expertise and he'd hooked me up, allowing me access to the surveillance cameras positioned all over the mansion and its grounds so that I could keep an eye on things from a distance. I was also connected to Anarchy through a COMM link.
The party was a crazy-ass swanky affair. The extensive gardens were done up to the nines. Fancy white table clothes, ostentatious jeweled centerpieces, ribbons, and expensive flowers everywhere, some kind of roses, it looked like. The food was another level altogether. I'd spotted the cliched caviar, wine bottles that cost more than my bike, and a huge selection of gourmet dishes.
I rolled my eyes. It was ridiculous. The whole world my parents inhabited was. Stuff like this, the downright vulgar displays and abuse of wealth, the boring nature of it all. Then there was the questionable guestlist. While some faces were new and I'd looked them up in the time that I'd been sitting here twiddling my fucking thumbs, others I remembered all too well. The types of people that Clay Reilly did business with, that he was not only comfortable doing business with, but was actually proud to do business with. People who abused their standing and power, who trampled over others, exploited their own employees and the masses at large. Several of them were white-collar criminals who'd used their unbridled power and sway to escape conviction and any consequences of the hurt they'd inflicted upon others.
The whole thing made me sick to my stomach.
I had to keep reminding myself that it would be over soon, that I just needed to focus on the overarching mission here, on our target.
Sky and Anarchy passed by one of the cameras again and I smiled to myself as I took my woman in. Damn, she was gorgeous. She was a natural beauty. She could rock anything, from leathers to her more sophisticated outfits, to the high-class outfit she was decked out in right now. A cream wraparound dress with a pair of designer heels. Her hair was pulled back off her face in some kind of a formal-looking, tidy up-do.
The woman was a chameleon. She could blend in anywhere. Anarchy was doing a good job of it, too. Although, I could tell he wasn't happy about it and I hadn't missed him flinching and tugging at the cream linen suit he was sporting. It really wasn't his thing. The guy lived up to his name. He was a rebel. Fitting in wasn't his way, or the way of Iron Kings, in general. We were mavericks, living life on our own terms. We didn't conform to anybody's expectations. We lived free.
But someone had needed to go in as Sky's protection to this thing and, seeing as though it couldn't be me, one of my club brothers was the next best thing. Him being there with her was the only way I'd been able to accept her going in there at all with Walsh on the guestlist. I was gonna owe Anarchy one for this. He'd really stepped up and had my back. This kind of thing was a lot for him to stomach.
Only a few hours. Hold it together.
I was willing to bet that Anarchy was running with the same mantra right about now.
A sudden beeping from my phone had me jolting to attention.
Haywire.
Jesse had set up an alert to notify us if that maniac got within about five miles of us. At that distance, it would give us enough time to react and clear the area. And he'd just breached it.
My earpiece buzzed. I tapped to answer, and Anarchy's voice came down the line. "You seeing what I am?"
"Yeah. He's headed right here."
"You're sure? He's still five miles out."
"There's nothing else around here. His target location has to be the Reilly estate."
"What do you wanna—oh, fuck."
"What?"
"Walsh just got here. He's got Matt with him. You think Haywire's coming for Walsh?"
"Looks likely. Walsh forced himself onto the guestlist last minute, right around the same time that Haywire escaped and headed down here."
"You think the Fury sent him to babysit Walsh?"
I nodded to myself. "They're not exactly known for their patience. They could be getting worried and anxious that he can't deliver the connections and power that he's promised. Haywire is nothing if not a big-time enforcer."
"He's good with the intimidation."
"Fortunately for us, that's about all he's got going for him."
"All brawn, no brain," Anarchy surmised.
"All right, hold position. Keep watch on Walsh. When Haywire gets here, I'll move in."
"What? You sure you want to put yourself in the middle of this stuck-up shitshow?"
"I'll do it on the downlow." When I was a kid, I'd sneaked out of that fucking mansion hundreds of times. I knew all the good, covert routes. Doing it in
reverse wouldn't be a problem. Thanks to Jesse's research, I knew the security system hadn't changed in the sixteen years since I'd lived there, so there'd be no surprises. Even from way back at the clubhouse in Ridgefield, Jesse had been able to do so much, to hook us up remotely incredibly quickly and efficiently. Having this set up made a huge difference. Damn, the guy really was an invaluable asset to the club.
"Got it," Anarchy said, then ended the transmission.
I kept a close eye on Haywire's movements, watching that damned red circle race across the screen, coming closer and closer to our location.
Adrenaline shot through me at the sound of a sudden approach.
Heels.
I frowned.
My first thought was Sky, but, logically, I knew she was with Anarchy. Maybe, it was just wishful thinking. I didn't like her being in there around all of that, those fucked-up kinds of people, let alone with Walsh now too. My protective instincts when it came to her were off the charts. Sure, I was like that with my club brothers too. But I knew they could handle themselves. I just had to accept that Sky could too. She'd proven it time and time again after all. I just had to chill about it. If I didn't, our relationship wouldn't survive it. Sky wasn't somebody who could handle being pushed off into the background. She was a warrior in her own right. At least, today had been a start, putting her in the field. Hell, bringing her in on this mission in the first place was something too. I just needed to keep it up and swallow down my anxiety over her safety. She was Skylar Wright, for fuck's sakes. And, hell, that powerful, feisty attitude she exuded was one of the things that got me off about her.
Clacking heels sounded again.
I dismounted my Harley quick and grasped the butt of my gun at my hip holster.
And then the intruder rounded the corner, coming into full view.
My fingers automatically left my piece.
"Mom," I breathed, more than a little shocked.
"Luke," she greeted me, like everything was normal.
That royal-blue, designer pantsuit of hers was insanely out of place down this dirt road I'd parked down, all the wild shrubbery and greenery surrounding it.
I scrutinized her, trying to figure out what was going on and why she was here at all. "Aren't you supposed to be playing host back at the house?"
