“I remember doing that to you,” Starshine said, proud of herself. “Maybe I should do that again.”

“I wouldn’t say no to that.”

Biting her lip, Starshine turned to Kylie. “If you lie sideways, I can watch the video while I go down on you.”

  “All right.”

Kylie turned, and Starshine arranged herself between her thighs. She pulled Kylie’s clothes off, both of them still watching the video. Starshine found it unbelievably hot to see herself doing things to Kylie. Kylie’s reactions were the sexiest thing she had ever seen. And as she bent to Kylie’s center, Kylie’s moans in real life matched the ones coming out of the speakers.

“Fuck,” Kylie swore. “This feels even better than I remembered.”

Starshine pulled her head up. “Are you sure? Because it sure looks like you were enjoying it.”

Kylie put a hand on the back of her head. “Don’t stop.”

Starshine watched as, on the screen, Kylie’s body shook. There was no way she would be able to get her there that fast when her video self had a head start. But Kylie’s clit was throbbing beneath her tongue, and as she licked her more urgently, Kylie’s legs clamped around her, trembling wildly.

“Holy shit,” Kylie said, propping herself up on her elbows when the orgasm was over. “I’m still turned on.”

“Hey, that’s not what we’re doing in the video.” Starshine gestured to the computer, where they were discussing switching positions.

“You want to keep the video going?” Starshine asked through the speakers.

Thank fuck Kylie had said yes. Starshine watched eagerly as her image laid down on the bed.

“Oh, I’ll do that to you,” Kylie growled. “Don’t worry about that for a minute.”

Now Starshine allowed Kylie to strip her out of her clothes. Kylie moved up, pushing her down in a flash. Her back hit the mattress, and she let out a gasp as Kylie’s hand found her clit. Kylie’s mouth followed a moment after.

Starshine looked at the monitor. From the camera’s angle, she could see the curves of Kylie’s hips and ass. Kylie in real life was harder to see—but Starshine could touch her, run her fingers along her face or twist her fingers through her hair. Yes, she liked the real thing better.

Kylie glanced over to the laptop. Making a muffled sound, she patted Starshine’s leg and gestured to bring her attention there. Kylie’s image was thrusting her fingers into Starshine hard and fast. Starshine couldn’t even remember her doing that. She must have just been that turned on. Kylie was straight up finger-fucking her now. She guessed Kylie wanted to do the same thing, so she nodded.

Kylie’s fingers slid inside her, and she moaned. This felt amazing—Kylie knew exactly what to do. Starshine’s hips rocked against her hand, her walls already starting to spasm around Kylie’s fingers. This was so good, it was almost too much. She was on the edge. She was going to…

  “Fuck!” on-screen Starshine yelled out.

In real life, Starshine came at the same moment. She grabbed Kylie’s wrist and held her fingers deep inside as her climax washed over her. Kylie licked hard, prolonging the orgasm and bringing Starshine to new heights.

When Starshine wasn’t looking at Kylie between her legs, she looked at her image writhing and thrashing. She came until she couldn’t come anymore.

Kylie pulled herself up next to her. “So, you liked that?” She reached for her wine glass and took a long sip.

“That was unbelievable,” Starshine panted. She had no idea how Kylie could be so calm. “The only thing I regret is not making a video of us watching the video.”

“And after that, we could make a video of us watching that video? You’re brilliant, S.”

Could Kylie really be that relaxed about this earth-shattering experience? For a moment, Starshine gaped at her. The growing grin on Kylie’s face betrayed how much she was into this.

“Sounds good to me,” Starshine said, moving into Kylie’s arms.

Being wrapped up in Kylie’s body got Starshine going all over again. She stroked her back, aroused beyond reason. She’d just had an incredible orgasm, but she wanted more. Kylie had said she was still turned on, wasn’t she? Starshine moved her hand down to check.

Her fingers found a wetness that made Kylie shudder when she delved into it. “What are we going to do about this?” Starshine asked playfully.

Kylie set aside her wine. “Didn’t I tell you I was going to fuck you senseless?”

“I wasn’t sure if that was what we just did.”

“Oh, Stella, that was just the appetizer.”

Kylie moved on top of Starshine. As Starshine looked up at her, she couldn’t believe this was honestly happening. After everything, the lies and the uncertainty and believing that Kylie would hate her forever, she had finally gotten the girl she had always wanted. And this was no one-night stand, either. This was something real.

She wanted to keep Kylie in her life, and Kylie seemed to feel the same way. Whether they were going to be long-distance or not was irrelevant. Starshine leaned up to kiss Kylie, frightened at the thought. She would have to think about that later—she hated the idea of being away from Kylie—but right now, they were finally going to do what they had wanted to do a long time ago.

Starshine sucked in Kylie’s bottom lip and felt Kylie’s tongue prying at the barrier between them. Starshine opened her mouth, letting Kylie press her tongue in. She sucked Kylie’s tongue, finding it warm and soft. Starshine could taste both of them, and that turned her on even more.

“The camera,” she whispered. She wanted this on tape.

Kylie shook her head. “Another time. I don’t want any distractions right now… just you and me. We don’t need something to remember this by because we’re going to do it again and again.”

Starshine took a breath. She wanted a video of this moment, but Kylie was right. The two of them were going to be together, and there was no reason to dilute this moment by bringing a camera into it. Starshine was never going to forget this, whether it was or wasn’t on video.

Although they’d each climaxed once, Starshine’s need was just as urgent. Starshine slipped her fingers into Kylie and then, with her free hand, pulled Kylie’s fingers to do the same. They lay together like that, breathing raggedly as they stared into each other’s eyes. Starshine’s pulse sped up as she realized Kylie had to be just as overcome as she was.

  “This feels…”

Kylie moved inside her, and Starshine had to leave the sentence unfinished as she cried out in pleasure. Her fingers pushed deeper into Kylie, her thumb hitting her clit. Kylie’s cry joined hers.

The two of them fit so well together. How had Starshine ever dreamt of not being with her?

“This feels incredible,” Kylie finished for her. “S, you’re everything I could possibly want.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Starshine kissed her cheek. It felt so good that she did it over and over, kissing Kylie everywhere that she could reach. Kylie’s breasts pressed against hers, and she luxuriated in the sensation.

“Kiss me,” Starshine whispered, needing to show Kylie how she felt. “I need to feel your lips.”

Kylie closed the gap between them. Their lips crushed together, and then their tongues met. Starshine moaned louder. Her entire body was alight with everything Kylie was doing to her.

Starshine couldn’t wait any longer. The question she’d had before burned in her mind. “Does this mean we’re girlfriends now?” she whispered.

“Yeah, S.” Kylie kissed her again. “You’re all mine now.”

  Twenty-Nine

Kylie hated to see the date end after more than twenty-four hours. She and Starshine had spent the day and most of the night in bed. They had ordered food and watched TV, in addition to more erotic activities. Sometimes when they couldn’t stay up any longer, they’d even slept. The one thing they hadn’t done was talk about the future.

Now they were at the restaurant, where Starshine had insist
ed on dropping Kylie off. “I have to talk to Tony anyway,” Starshine had said.

Kylie guessed this was more about Starshine wanting to spend a few extra minutes with her. In her shoes, she would have done the same thing.

They held hands as they walked through the parking lot. Paula and Alyssa climbed out of their cars. Paula raised her eyebrows, while Alyssa just whooped. “You two worked it out!”

Kylie grinned. “You know it, A.”

As they continued through the main room, they saw Chloe at her hostess station. Her eyes widened.

She didn’t have to say a word for Starshine to understand. “Yeah, we’re together,” Starshine said with a grin.

They walked on into Tony’s office.

Once they were there, they dropped hands. “I guess I should leave you here while you talk about your last paycheck and whatnot,” Kylie said.

  “That’s okay. Stay with me.”

“But don’t you have to talk about private stuff, like what you’re going to put in your article? I’m sure you don’t want me there for that.”

“I do,” Starshine said, squeezing her arm. “Come in. I don’t want you to miss this, actually.”

If Starshine wanted her there, Kylie wasn’t going to say no. They went inside. Tony was behind the desk, looking at the ledger again. Kylie and Starshine sat down. “Yes,” Tony said.

“I’m here to ask for my job back.”

Kylie turned to stare at Starshine, her jaw dropping open. She must have misheard her. But as Starshine grinned at her, she knew she had heard right.

Tony interrupted before Kylie could figure out what to say. “This is a surprise… although not an unpleasant one. As I told you yesterday, you’re welcome to have your job back at any time. I have to say this is earlier than I expected, but all the better.”

“Great,” Starshine said. As she got up, she grabbed Kylie’s hand. Kylie thought she heard the manager make an approving sound as they walked out.

“What are you doing, S?” Kylie hissed as soon as they were out of earshot. “What about your article?”

“You were right,” Starshine said softly. “It wouldn’t be much of an article if I was to water it down and only say the good things. I decided it would be better to not write an article at all. I have a good job here, a job where everybody respects me and treats me well. This job has helped me develop as a person.”

Kylie stopped in the middle of the hallway. “You don’t have to do this. You had a good job and a good life. I don’t know if you’re making the right decision.”

“I am,” Starshine said. “There will always be other reporting jobs if I decide that’s what I want to do. But right now, it’s not the job for me. Those people never respected me. I can’t stand the thought of being three hours away from you. And I’ve realized I have some ethical issues with going undercover. I’ve already quit.”

  “What? When?”

“When you were in the shower.” Starshine rolled her eyes. “My boss said I was fucking over the entire magazine, leaving them in the lurch, and that she should have known better than to give me a real assignment. I told her they should take a look at the people they have getting coffee and picking up dry-cleaning. Any of them would be thrilled to write an article, and they’ve got four months to do it.”

Kylie had no idea what to say.

“My family’s actually happy that I’m staying here,” Starshine went on. “They think I should look for a better journalism job, and of course they want me closer, but they’re glad I’m not going to be working for Snap That anymore.”

“But you could do anything,” Kylie insisted. “You don’t have to be a waitress. You’re so smart, and you have so much potential. You could have any kind of job that you wanted.”

“So could you, and you’re here,” Starshine said. “Maybe I’ll write something about this place one day. There’s enough going on here for a book! But it won’t have the kind of nasty, vicious attitude that Snap That is all about.”

  Kylie stared at her.

“Now, put your tongue back in your mouth and close your lips. You’re not going to get any tips walking around like that.”

The two of them went into the change room, where Starshine announced her decision to the other waitresses.

“You’re not going to make me famous?” Alyssa whined when Starshine announced that she wasn’t going to write her article.

“No, but I’m sure you’re going to do that for yourself.”

“Fair enough,” Alyssa said with a grin. “I don’t have any doubt about that.”

The girls were looking at Starshine funny, so Kylie interrupted. If this was Starshine’s decision, then she was going to support her in it. “Girls, stop giving her that look. She’s still the same girl you’ve always known. It’s probably best to keep this between us—no one else needs to know. And I hope you’re not going to treat her any differently now that you know she used to be an undercover reporter.”

“We won’t,” a few of them said.

“And I hope you won’t treat Kylie any different once she gets the number one app in the App Store,” Starshine said.

Kylie shook her head. As if that would ever happen.

  “Huh?” Alyssa asked.

“I just fuck around with apps on my spare time,” Kylie said modestly. “I’ve been working on a video streaming app for a bit.”

“That sounds cool,” Paula said. “I’d love to take a look at it.”

“You would?” Kylie asked. “I wasn’t planning to do anything more with it.” She wouldn’t have thought her friends would take any interest in it. Then again, she would’ve done the same for them.

“We would love to,” Paula said.

“You girls are going to love it,” Starshine told them. “You definitely need to release it, Kylie. It’s amazing.”

With that kind of encouragement, Kylie couldn’t say no.

The waitresses trickled out, one pair at a time. By the time Kylie and Starshine made their way out to the parking lot, the bouncer was already gone. They were halfway to Kylie’s car, holding hands, when a screech erupted from the other end of the lot.

Kylie tensed as Pearl ran up to them. She didn’t even look at Kylie as she hissed at Starshine. “I thought you would’ve been fired by now!”

Starshine hardly broke her stride. “My job is none of your business. Now, get out of here before I get a restraining order.” The two of them got in Kylie’s car, and Kylie quickly locked all of the doors.

“Do you think that’s the last we’ll see of her?” Kylie asked.

“It should be. Now that she’s seen I got the hottest girl in this place, she’ll know she never had a chance.” Starshine laughed and brushed a kiss across Kylie’s lips, making her sigh with sudden need.

Kylie turned the car on, anxious to get Starshine back to her place. They each had big plans, and Kylie felt hopeful for both of them. With their friends’ support, she figured they could accomplish anything.

For the moment, she just needed to be in Starshine’s bed. They had kisses to share, climaxes to reach, and videos to make.

And whether she was with Starshine or Stella, she was in love.
