BLADE: The villains also love (English verson) (Duology of criminals Book 1) Page 12

by Mari Sillva

Jesse looked like a doll, small and delicate. She wore a black evening gown, a strapless bodice fitted with straps behind, and a skirt with several layers of veils made of petals of a rose, short and rounded. Far too much in the opinion of the Outlaw Man, it was the first thing that came to mind. She lowered her eyes to her legs, arched her eyebrow in surprise at what she saw, she had beautiful legs. Thick and shapely, attractive even. To complete, gloves up the bow of the arms, sneakers All Star black and still a necklace of fake black stones. Her hair caught in a tall bun with a few loose curls. Blade had to assume that she hid a lot under those loose clothes, a small, thin body but with delicate contours. The painting of the face up to the extent of the neck was clear, over the eyes two black wings open, like a bird preparing the flight.

In slow motion as the couples passed fervently dancing, he saw her smiling sheepishly, watched everything from afar, in her corner. When Jesse arrived at the ball, she took a deep breath with his head held high. But when she looked around and saw all the fantasies rich in color and detail, high heels and lavish elegance and sophistication, she felt totally out of place and strange. Did not anyone else use the basic black? There were so many colors together that the girl was getting dizzy, had to move away in a more discreet corner, saw the whole parade from there. But they were all the same only changing the colors of the dresses and the hairstyles. Jesse was the only one to stand out, both bold and delicate. She was the one who tried at all costs to hide from the world, especially from the evil of the people. She blushed to see the bartender whispering something in the ear of one of the waiters looking towards her. He was a handsome man, black, not so tall, but the charm made up for his short stature curly hair, emerald green eyes and a breathtaking smile.

-Excuse me, ma'am, the bartender sent you this glass of French champagne to brighten your evening. -A black-clad waiter handed him the drink with a malicious expression on his face.

She accepted willingly, looked up from the distance and saw him waving that flirtatious smile on her face. In a burst of courage, he walked to the bar to thank him in person. She was amazed at the mini bar there were glass shelves boasting bottles of all kinds of drinks, one more expensive than the other. All very well organized and clean, outside the collection of crystal glasses inside a glass cabinet too.

  - Thank you, you are very kind! - She looked at him awkwardly.

Up close, his smile was even more handsome. She tried to charm herself by sitting on a round iron stool next to the counter, almost fell to the floor, it was spinning. Unwittingly, he knocked over a pile of white napkins like swallows flying.

  -Sorry! - She said sheepishly.

-No need to apologize, angel. My name is Michelangelo, but you can call me Miche. - She leaned over the counter to kiss the investigator's face. He was Brazilian, nice as all Latinos. She widened her eyes startled by his sudden act, it was the closest contact she had, at that party, with a man.

  - Mine is Jesse, nice to meet you! -I used to toss a few frills on the counter, miniatures from bottles of old drinks.

  - It's all my pleasure, angel! Up close you can be more beautiful still.

Carter glanced at the crowd in front of the DJ's stage. Jumping and shouting louder than the music itself, there was a woman dressed as a tango dancer in a red dress swung just above the knees, with a huge neckline, high shoe, very well made up, her hair long and dark, loose as a mantle on the back and festooned with a flower. She was whirling around the room, dancing well sensual her dress spinning through the air. There was a moment when Carter could have sworn he saw a man with half his face covered by a white mask staring at them with an expression of hatred. But the red cloth of the skirt passed in front of her vision and in a second the man in black suit was no longer there.

-I can only be going crazy. - She shook her head in frustration, thinking she was hallucinating.

-Did you say something, beautiful? - The Brazilian was watching her closely.

-No, I just thought aloud. -She looked down she was having a strange feeling, as if she were being watched.

-Just an instant, angel, I need to meet a client, but I'll be right back for you, - Michelangelo said very seductively at the girl's ear, closer than necessary, making her blush even though her face was painted.

-What would you like to drink?

-I want a Dalmore 62, Royal Salute Whiskey with two ice rocks, Tequila Ley with gin and sparkling water for the girl. - Jesse froze when he heard that deep voice again, thick and incredibly sexy. She did not dare lift her head to look at him she thought it might have been just a hallucination.

  - Are you all right, my angel? Looks like you've seen a ghost. - Michelangelo tenderly touched the girl's hand on the cold glass balcony, with the same delicacy that the painter of whom he had inherited the name painted the canvas in which he gave the name "Angel", as well as the nickname he had given for her.

Blade's eyes flashed over them, burning like burning coals.

-Her name is not" angel. - The thick voice took over the room again, visibly altered. -She is not yours and it never will be. - Now the tone was more severe.

-I'm fine, Michelangelo, do not worry. - She offered him a comforting smile to show that she was really well, but she was not, not really.

-It can be dangerous enough to accept drinks from stranger investigators, did not you know that? - Cried Maldonado as soon as the boy came out of the room to prepare his request. She was brave, did not know where to look at him, her body leaning atop the balcony half-way with a menacing look, like a lion watching over its prey. -In your case for both parties, especially for him,- he added coldly, like the Alaskan glacier. Carter waited for the chill that ran through his body, because of the scary tone his voice had caused. In order, perhaps, to try to assimilate something intelligent to answer, but with those blue eyes like the sea facing her it would be quite difficult.

-I spent the night at one's house and I'm still alive, am not I? - She answered a question with another, looking away, in a tone too ironic for a sweet person like her.

The problem was that Maldonado really had the power to take her seriously. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed how he caught the posture and stood elegantly standing right in front of her. Jesse noticed that Blade looked much bigger and stronger than he'd remembered, beautiful, attractive, and many other things he'd even been ashamed to talk about. He thought about asking what he was doing at a women's fashion show, as he had spent the last few weeks or had thought of her as she had thought of him every minute. Only she was too shy for it. Also, in the way he was shaking, the words would not be understandable. He carried the glass of effervescent champagne to his mouth in the hope that the alcohol would dispel some of the tension between the two, but his act was barred before it was realized.

-Do not you think you're a little early to drink? - He took the cup from her hand roughly, placing it on the tray of a passing waiter.

-But I'm thirsty. - She made an ugly face, stiffening in her six-foot-six.

-Do not worry, the sparkling water I ordered is for you. - She denied with her head. Her desire was to punch his face for being so pretentious. -If you are already a disaster, I do not want to think about it when you are drunk. - As he spoke, his eyes darted around the room. There were security guards everywhere.

-I thought you said it was dangerous to accept things from strangers. - Jesse looked serious and frowned.

-I'm not a stranger anymore you spent the night at my house. -he tilted his body up to her height, which was kind of hard for a six-foot-three man. -Or rather, in my bed, - he added quietly at the foot of her ear, making sure that it was enough for a certain bartender in a cheap conqueror to listen.

Blade had always had everything planned. She wanted to curse him for being such a jerk, only that she was too disoriented with such beauty in front of her. He watched her perfect contours beneath that damned sexy mask, his face square totally perfect her light brown hair, her eyes, which at that moment were as bl
ue as summer sky, a straight nose and a charming furrow on her chin. The stubble, two or three days at the most, the light marks of the dimples that yearned for a smile to manifest themselves, since they never had the opportunity. Curvy and thin lips she was delighted and wondered what the taste of his kiss would be? He chose not to think about the answer, he would never have the opportunity to get it.

-Here's your drink, sir! - Michelangelo did not have the nice smile on his face anymore, nor did he look at Jesse as he handed Maldonado's order.

-The water is for the girl. -He rolled his eyes at her, who was staring at her feet in shame. -I need her sober tonight.

And the jerk acted again in that attractive voice mocking things they both knew very well they would never happen. Unfortunately, she thought.

  - I do not want! - she took two steps back, creating a distance between them, each gesture discreetly followed by his eyes.

-I did not ask if I wanted to. - It was rude.

-Then I'll pay for it. - she sniffed.

Maldonado hated when she faced him that way.

-you would not have the money for that.

She blinked several times trying to hide her tears and lowered her head visibly embarrassed, biting her lower lip. He had called her poor enough to have no money to pay for plain water. In fact, she did not, but he did not know that.

-All right, princess, stay as a courtesy of the house! - She lifted her smiling face to Michelangelo with tears in her eyes, which made "Miche" even more enchanted by her.

-I do not suppose you have the money to pay for it either, it must cost you at least two months of your wretched salary, - he said naturally, sliding his finger along the rim of the glass and watching the cinnamon liquid dance from side to side inside his.

Jesse looked at him literally shocked.

How it could make someone feel bad that way, that is not done with anyone. And what was inside that water with gas, gold?

-In fact, yes, tiny white gold particles, - he explained calmly as if he had listened to her thoughts. The researcher thought that if the water was so expensive, she did not want to imagine the rest he had asked for, and she gaped at the sight of him taking a bundle of hundred-dollar bills out of his pocket, at least ten thousand more. He handed it to the bartender in a way that did not touch him he already hated him and did not even know why.

  - It's easy to spend money when you have not worked hard to get it. Jesse threw the glass anyway on the table, confronting him once more, but that passed all Maldonado's limits of patience. - Blade had sweated to get that money it took an entire month planning this robbery. She was thinking what? Stealing a bank is easy, it's more complicated and complex than it looks.

-If you throw a hundred dollar bill into a muddy puddle, it will still have the same value.

He ran his hand through his hair in a sexy way, so that two beautiful women who were walking towards the bathroom, a costume of Cleopatra and the other of Sorceress literally drooled on him. He had scary power over the opposite sex he did not have to do anything to get them to fall to his feet. He did not even notice them his attention was focused on some abused bass.

-For people like you, you will. - The good thing about being poor is that we do not need much to be happy, only a pout with a cold orange juice already satisfies me. He cast a wary glance at him, utterly defiant.

-I doubt there's anything that all your" money "can buy, you have everything, but at the same time, you have nothing!

He frowned, glaring at her. Worse, she knew she was right, the more money she stole, the more empty she felt inside. But the adrenaline made him feel alive, powerful.

-You know I get irritated with anything, and it keeps teasing me, - he muttered under his breath, cursing curses.

  - Did you say something? -She asked, mocking with a triumphant smile on her face, she loved provoking him.

-Certainly nothing of your own, - said thickly making her smile died.

-You do not have to talk to her like that, man! -Michelangelo, a gentleman, was the man who had defended the girl, and his father had taught him at an early age that women should be treated with respect.

-And you, shut up, dwarf, why do not you see how Snow White is? - She stared at him with her handsome face, her clenched fists showing that she was ready for anything.

He had always been a very discreet man, but at that moment he was not calling for anything else, he was willing to do anything to stop that strange feeling that was arising when he saw the way the bartender looked at her, something he could not quite hold new, uncontrollable.

-Before I shut her up myself! - He emphasized.

The boy swallowed hard to look at him, David looked like Goliath, but even with fear, he was too much of a man to run, even if it was his will.

  - All right, Miche, I'm fine! - Jesse held his arm affectionately. Blade felt him burn when his fingertips touched him so delicately and gently, offering him a sweet smile.

  - Not worth it, sometimes the best solution is to silence when the other expects you to shout. It was the first time Maldonado had felt inferior. - She spoke without looking at him as if she were invisible. The scream frightens, but silence destroys anyone!

  - As I said the water is a courtesy of mine, princess, do not worry because for the staff has a good discount. As I do not drink it is the first thing they will deduct from my salary. - She opened a broad smile, one that illuminates everything around her.

-But the champagne you ordered to deliver me must cost a fortune!-I was feeling guilty I did not want you to spend so much money on her.

-Do not worry, angel, the champagne is being held by the organizers of the event, only the most expensive drinks are paid for. -She smiled in relief.

  - Remember my response to the invitation to leave Miche? I changed my mind, I accept. - He did not know what she was talking about, but he still liked the idea of leaving her. Jesse drank some of the water, did not know how to play, the angry expression on Blade's face was evidence that was going very well.

  - Miche? What a fucking intimacy this is with a guy you just met, and what's the story of going out with him?

-But I thought you two were ... - The bartender scratched his head awkwardly. - Intimates.

-I'm not that needy. - Maldonado thought aloud, thick beyond words.

Jesse spat the water away, amazed at his comment, which now tasted like it was the most expensive wine in the world, which made Blade very angry since he had not touched her before the future corpse said that it was his courtesy, all alone to show herself to her.

  - I do not understand what you mean by that, she's beautiful! -Carter smiled broadly at the compliment.

-Only if it's for you, she's not my type! - He looked her up and down with utter disdain, frowning as he paused in the pair of sneakers thanks God new ones. For him, women should wear heels all the time. Carter looked away in embarrassment, feeling uglier than usual.

  - But you do mine! -The Brazilian handed him a small piece of paper with his number, holding his hand longer than was necessary.

-And I'm glad to hear that! - He heard a subtle exchange of glances between them, the girl let out a faint shy smile. Beauty attracts, but sympathy conquers.

What is she doing? Flirting with him in front of me? Blade thought.

-Get your hands off my Brown Candy. - Kevin came in, holding a glass of strawberry cocktail in one hand as if it were the strongest drink there. He was now without his coat, if found, inside a white orange-polo shirt with sleeves folded up to his forearms.

-Your what? - The bartender asked, laughing, the boy was naturally funny.

-Nothing, Miche, and you, Kevin, why are not you going to dance a little? - Soon your parents will call you to leave, so you have to enjoy it, kitten!

The Lawless Man was noticing the way she lowered herself to be the size of the boy to straighten his flashy tie, smiled at him kindly, when he finished tapping his index finger on the tip of his nose, placing a kiss on the face.
/>   - Great idea, Candy! - He took her hand and dragged it to the middle of the dance floor.

Jesse tried to break free, but unfortunately he did not succeed. When she saw she was already being pushed back and forth by people, the music she was playing was lively. Kevin whirled around, spinning, disappearing into the crowd. Carter crossed his arms, he could not dance.

-Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away by the music, kitten, it may come loose. - He looked at her over the bottle-bottom glasses, in a very serious way.

-But just a little bit, Candy, do not abuse my goodwill.

She laughed loudly, kind of turning her head back. When the teenager teased him, he was gone again, he was a figure. She decided to do what he said, imagined as if she was alone at home with the earpiece in her ear. As if in the automatic he lifted his arms above his head and allowed himself to be carried to the sound of the beats, now it was a softer rhythm than he had ever heard before. She gently twists her hips from side to side. Timidly, she slipped her hands along the side of her body visibly awkward which made the act even more erotic. Blade watched her every move leaning against a pillar in a striped manner. Eyes like two pearls lit by whiskey, bright and intense. She was so shy, a rough diamond, just waiting to be stoned.
