Interracial Desires: BWWM Multicultural Romance Box Set Page 27

The business card he’d given me had his full name - Ty Green - a phone number and an email address. I stuck it in the top drawer of my dresser, hidden underneath my neatly folded panties. Since he hadn’t called me back, I was sure he got everything he wanted from me when I fucked him in the back of the limo. All the talk about admiring me as a weed grower was just crazy talk.

Two weeks after the night I met him, my life fell apart. I missed my period, so I got a pregnancy test just in case. To my surprise, it came back positive. I was pregnant. The only man I’d slept with was Ty. At first I wanted to cry, but I stopped at a coffee shop on my way to work that fateful morning to try to gather my thoughts. It was the worst day I could have showed up late.

When I arrived at the office, Terrance the manager brought me into his office and fired me. He actually lectured me for about ten minutes, saying a line of people were waiting for my job and that I’d blown it completely. I was almost in tears by the time he was done with me. I left work unsure of what I was going to do. On a whim, I pulled out the business card and dialed the number.

“Hello, is this Ty?” I asked.

“Yeah. Looking at the area code, this must be Keisha, right?”

“Yeah. I realized we never talked about that opportunity.”

  “You’re interested now?”

“Maybe. I mean, I want to hear the details.”

“Tell you what, I’ll fly you out. When can you come?”

“Whenever. I just lost my job.”

“Ah, I see now,” he said with a chuckle.

“I’ve been thinking about you too. I mean thinking about the job offer opportunity thing.”

Ugh! I groaned silently to myself.

“Well, I’ll have my people send details to your phone.”

  “You have people, huh?”

“Some people, but I need more talented people like you.”

“I have something I need to talk to you about as well.”

  “Oh?”

“Yeah, but I don’t want to do it over the phone, okay?”

“Sure. I’ll see you tomorrow or the day after.”

“You’re paying for my travel, right?”

“Definitely. Just follow the instructions they send.”

“Great. I’ll talk to you soon.”

  “Bye, Keisha.”

  “Bye.”

I disconnected the call. His voice was so sexy. I couldn’t put my finger on why exactly. He was so sure of himself without going too far and being cocky. A half hour later, I got a text message telling me to show up at the airport the next afternoon. I rushed home and packed. After that was done, I laid in bed, trying to force myself to sleep. I ended up taking a couple sleeping pills.

The next morning, I received another text saying a car was coming to pick me up. I went over everything in the house one final time before locking the door and sitting on the front steps. On the ride to the airport, I wondered what kind of proposition Ty would have for me out in Colorado. Usually I would have wanted to know exactly before flying across the country, but I had to tell him about the baby.

At the airport, I was driven right up to the side of a private jet. How rich is this guy? I wondered as I climbed the stairs. A stewardess met me just inside. I sat in one of the comfortable chairs next to the window. With a champagne in hand, I said goodbye to Cleveland as I looked forward to my possible new life in Colorado. I had to tell Ty about his baby, which wouldn’t be easy, but I had a little time to prepare.

Loud music played in the background as I sat at the makeshift bar and sipped at some whiskey with ice. The investor parties were wild and out of control, but they helped people bond, which would benefit me in the long run. Well, if I could survive them. As I watched the chaos in the room, one of the strippers made her way to me. I stared into her eyes after checking out her body for a moment.

My twenties were full of wanton pleasures, but at my current stage in life, almost in my forties, I wanted more than hot, steamy sex with a random beautiful woman. When you had a billion or more dollars, almost anyone would sleep with you at the drop of a hat, which is not as good as it sounds. While I could usually perform well, to me it always seemed a little empty afterward.

“How you doin’ baby?” the woman obviously not from Colorado asked as she touched my arm and bent forward, making sure I couldn’t miss her breasts hanging down.

“Good. And you?” I took another drink.

“Oh, I could be better. I hear you’re the big man on campus.” She leaned forward, pressing her breasts against my chest as she whispered into my ear, “I want to taste your cock.”

As if to throw an unspoken exclamation on her declaration, she grabbed my crotch and squeezed gently.

“While you’re a beautiful woman,” I said as I extracted myself from her arms and stood up, “I’m a married man, and I need to go.”

  “I’m sorry,” she said.

“It’s okay. Have a nice night tonight.”

Before she could say anything else, I slipped out of the room and headed outside to my waiting Town Car. I got in the back and told the driver to take me to my luxury cabin on the east side of the mountains. As he pulled away, my phone rang. It was Grayson, the man who ran the Colorado household when I wasn’t around.

“What’s up, Grayson,” I said after I answered.

  “Keisha has landed, sir.”

“Great. Bring her out to my place and make sure she’s comfortable. I’ll be home in a few hours. We’re leaving now.”

  “Sounds good, sir.”

I disconnected the call, wondering how I would get by without Grayson. He was so much more than a butler or whatever title for the position was popular. The car headed east, back to what might be my permanent home for the rest of my time on the planet. While the fact recreational marijuana was legal had something to do with my decision, it was some of the most stunning land in the world.

My thoughts turned to Keisha, who still confused me. She went through life like no other person I’d seen before, which intrigued me. Her attractive body was nice, but it was really her mind that turned me on. The memory of the night she had suddenly jumped on my lap and fucked me in the back of the limousine while driving around Cleveland was still fresh in my mind.

  FIVE

  Keisha

The drive from Denver International Airport to a mansion in the mountains didn’t take long at all. On the drive, I devised a plan to tell Ty the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I realized, finally, he was a lot wealthier and more important than I’d thought at first. And that meant he would probably want nothing to do with me, but I had to tell him about his baby in my belly.

When I first set eyes on his “mountain cabin,” I was amazed. It was a work of art on many different levels. After the driver parked in front of the house, I got out and looked around. The sun was setting behind the mountains while the city lights below flickered to life. Up in the sky, the stars were bright and vivid, twinkling as if they were alive and dancing through the heavens.

“Hello,” a man said as he walked from the open front door to the Town Car. “Welcome to the mountain cabin.”

“Yeah, it’s not really a cabin, is it?” I asked with a smile as I continued to look around.

“All a matter of perspective, ma’am,” he said as he stopped in front of me and held out his hand.

  I shook it. “I’m Keisha.”

“Indeed. Shall we go inside? They’ll get your bags.”

  “Sure.”

He smiled then turned to head back inside the mansion. His pure white hair contrasted his dark, wrinkled skin dramatically. I’d seen a lot of older brothers over the years, and he was happier than any of the others. The bounce in his step was hard to miss. Once inside, I looked past the small foyer into a great room that lived up to its name. A million or more thoughts were going through my mind.

“You can follow me to the kitchen or wait somewhere else on
your own for Ty to return.”

“Is he going to be long?” I asked.

“Not too long. How about a coffee.”

  “That would be great.”

“Good. We have a new variety with THC infused into the brew. Does that interest you?”

I nodded my head up and down as I smiled. Then I remembered the baby.

“No, thanks. I’m actually tired. Can I get just a normal cup?”

  “Not a problem.”

He led me into a kitchen as nice as any I’d seen on those cable real estate shows. Grayson pointed to an island with bar stools along one side as he crossed the room. After I took a seat, I glanced around again, unable to take it all in. After just a minute, he returned to the island with a tray and two cups of coffee.

  “That was quick,” I said.

“And yet the taste isn’t affected. Have a sip.”

After I picked up a mug, I brought it to my lips. “Mmm.”

“Edibles are actually one of the problems the industry is having right now.”

“You didn’t put any pot in mine did you?” I asked, concern in my voice.

  “No, I told you.”

“Okay. I just wanted to make sure.”

He looked at me curiously for a moment then took a drink out of his mug.

“You’re missing out. This is going to be a popular product, I think.”

“Oh, you know about the pot industry?”

“I’m from the area, and I’ve been a smoker since the sixties,” he said then winked at me.

I smiled then took another drink, hoping he wasn’t lying to me.

“So, what can you tell me about Ty? I guess you wouldn’t tell me if you did know something bad.”

It was his turn to laugh. “If only I had something to pin on him. He changed my life for the better. I owe him quite a bit.”

“Yeah?” I wanted to ask what happened, but I decided to be polite.

“Yeah. He’s been the best employer I’ve ever had in my life.”

We talked about Ty, Colorado, marijuana and a few other topics over the next half hour. The more time passed, the more comfortable I became with the entire situation. I had to tell Ty about the baby, but I was sure I would be able to find the perfect time and way to do it. Some THC to relax sounded really nice. It was going to be tough to go nine months without any chronic or even alcohol.

“You made it,” Ty said as he walked into the kitchen.

  “I did.”

“I’m going to go now,” Grayson said to me. “Nice to meet you. When you’re ready, we have a room set-up for you.”

  “Thanks.”

He took his mug and left the room, leaving me and Ty to stare awkwardly at each other.

“Did you try the THC coffee?” he asked.

Now’s the perfect time. Tell him, girl!

“No, I’m taking a break for a while.”

  “Really?”

  “You don’t believe me?”

“No, I’m just curious as to why. From what I researched, you’re a daily smoker. And you’re interested in my project, so…”

“Okay, enough,” I said, standing up. “Can we talk tomorrow? I’m pretty tired.”

“Sure. I just have to work on some paperwork.”

“What kind?” I asked, unable to resist.

“Oh, I’m trying to coordinate meetings across the country, and I’m doing a terrible job.”

“Don’t you have a personal assistant?”

“I’ve had three of them, but none of them worked out.”

I nodded my head and smiled. “Good help is hard to find.”

“Are you flirting with me, Keisha?” he asked, staring into my eyes.

  “Maybe…”

  Silence fell over the kitchen.

“Let me show you the guest room.”

Mug in hand, I followed him through a dining room and to a second floor that was full of bedrooms. He stopped outside one of the doors.

“Here you go. If you need anything, just let someone in the kitchen know.”

“Thanks.” I looked down at the polished wooden floors then back up to his face. “And for flying me out here too. I think I’m going to be interested in helping you.”

“Good. We’ll talk more in the morning.”

  “Goodnight, Ty.”

  “Goodnight.”

I went into the room and shut the door behind me. The decor was nice, but I didn’t really notice it. My mind was occupied with thoughts of Ty. His proposal to work for him might be affected when I told him I was pregnant with his baby. Part of me was surprised he hadn’t brought up the fact I’d drunkenly fucked him in the back of a limo a couple weeks earlier. I realized he had been quiet on the matter for a reason.

As I laid under the covers and tried to sleep in the strange house with weird noises I wasn’t accustomed to hearing in the middle of the night, my mind turned to the small life inside my belly. My hormones were working overtime. The morning sickness was a pain, but even more uncomfortable was my horniness. I was afraid Ty would kick me to the curb as soon as he found out the truth.

  SIX

  Ty

I opened my eyes around five in the morning without an alarm. After so many years, my body was trained. My first thought was Keisha. She was under the same roof as me. What are her dreams? I wondered while I laid on my back in bed and stared at the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. It seems like she’s interested in the job, but she’s not telling me something. I hate not having all the information.

After my morning routine, I headed downstairs to the dining room for breakfast. A private chef was expensive, but it saved so much time it was worth it to me. With my wealth, I could afford to hire thousands of people, but I tried to keep it to a bare minimum whenever possible. Keisha was nowhere to be seen, so I ordered some fruit and coffee for myself - with a double shot of THC to get me through the day.

  “Anything else, sir?” Teri asked.

  “No, thanks.”

She left for the kitchen. I picked up my tablet and checked my email. Hundreds of messages had already been sifted through and organized according to a complex algorithm I’d had written. None of the emails were urgent, so I switched to a browser and checked a website I’d had built to keep me up to date on all the latest news from various sources all in one place. It was another big time saver.

“Good morning,” Keisha said as she pulled out a chair and sat down at the table to my right.

“Good morning. Did you sleep well.”

“I always have trouble sleeping in new places, but it was different here. Being really tired helped.”

“Jet lag is more serious than people think.”

“Speaking of jets…” she said then stopped.

  “Yes?”

“You own your own private jet?”

I nodded, hoping she didn’t ask about my wealth. “It helps save time.”

“Fair enough.” She glanced around the room. “Can I get some food and coffee or something? I’m famished.”

“Teri will be right back and make anything you want.”

“I could eat for two people,” she said then smiled for a brief moment.

We ate breakfast in relative silence. She wasn’t kidding about being hungry. When she was finally done, she wiped her mouth with a napkin and turned her head to me. I smiled, hoping she would stick around and at least work for me. Hopefully the secret she was hiding wasn’t something that would make it necessary to kick her out of my life completely.

“What’s on the agenda for today?” she asked.

“Well, I was going to ask if you would come to an investor meeting with me. That way you can see what I’m about, and I can kind of test how you do in a professional setting.”

  “Sounds like a plan.”

“Just please sit back and listen, okay? This is actually an important meeting for me.”

“Are you sure you want to bring me, then?” She laughed, her voice like a song.

  “
Anything you’d like to ask or say before we go?” I asked.

She opened her mouth as if she was about to say something, but it closed and she shook her head from side to side. My tablet in my hand, we headed outside to a waiting Town Car. The vehicles in my fleet were all brand new but modestly equipped for the most part. On the way into Boulder, I caught her up on the basics of the deal I was trying to land with a retail outfit looking to grow.

By the time we got to our destination, a downtown office building, she was as ready as she was going to be. I reminded her to just be quiet and soak in the experience, which caused her to shoot me an icy glare just before we walked inside and tool the elevator upstairs to the meeting room. I pushed thoughts of her aside as I mentally prepared myself for the meeting. She walked in right after me.

“Hey, you brought a lady friend. I like it,” Bob Hutchinson said then cackled much too loud.

I glanced at Keisha, hoping she would be able to control herself. With everything going on in my mind, I’d forgotten he was the worst sexist I’d ever met. She was conservatively dressed, but he still couldn’t take his eyes off of her for some reason.

“Thanks for meeting today,” I said, taking charge of the room. “I have some great numbers to share. After you look at them, I can answer any of your questions. And if you have none, we can get our lawyers to work everything out on paper. Sound good?”

“I know what sounds better,” Bob said, rubbing his goatee as he leered at Keisha.

“My, my, I must say, you’re going to make me blush,” she said using a phony southern accent while she fanned her face with her hand. “And I’m black!” she added.

Bob laughed, slamming his meaty fist down on the conference table. I watched in horror as I lost control of the room. While I wanted to give Bob a piece of my mind and tell him he had better respect my business partner, Keisha had taken it on herself to play into the investor’s sick and twisted fantasies. Or is she controlling him? I wondered as I listened and watched.
