“Everything okay?” Teona asked as she walked down the stairs in a robe.
“I'm not sure,” I said honestly as I shut the door. “We're snowed in.”
“Haha, very funny. Make fun of the tourist.”
“I'm serious. Check out the windows. Or just look.”
I opened the door and watched her eyes widen when she saw it was completely blocked by snow.
“Oh, wow. Did you pile all that up or something?”
She cocked her head and stared at me as if she didn't completely believe I had nothing to do with all the snow that was blocking the doorway to the outside world.
“No. I just woke up and the window in the bedroom was completely blocked by snow.”
“Does it usually get this bad?”
I shut the door. “I've never seen this much snow overnight before. I can't even tell if it's still snowing. We should check the television if the cable is still working.”
“Um, I had them take out all the electronics so I wouldn't just watch movies instead of reading.”
“I left my radio on the snowmobile, because I didn't think I'd be staying.”
A look of worry crept over her face. “Are we going to be okay?”
“Don't panic. You have food and water, right?”
She nodded. “The pantry was stocked.”
“Okay. I bet the sun is starting to melt some of the snow now, so we just have to wait a bit. Don't panic.”
“Panic? Should I be worried about something?”
“No, not at all. How about that omelette?” I asked, trying to change the subject and calm her down.
I could tell she was accustomed to being in charge. While she hadn't told me what she did for a living, I was sure she was some type of executive. Maybe a lawyer? We headed into the grand kitchen where she prepared us breakfast. The smell wafted through the room as I sat at the table and watched her.
“You do a lot of cooking?” I asked.
“Not as much as I would like. I work a lot.”
“What do you do for a living?”
“I'm an attorney.” I smiled. “What?” she asked then turned back to the egg mixture in the pan.
“I was thinking earlier that you were probably a lawyer.”
“You were thinking about me, huh?”
When she turned quickly and smiled at me, I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time. Being a Ranger was a lonely business, and I hadn't been in a serious relationship since college. I had slept with a few tourists here and there, but they were one-night-stand type of activities. Teona made me feel different even though I knew she would just be around for a week.
“Has it ever snowed this much?” she asked as we ate.
“Not since I've been working here.”
“How long have you been here? Seems like a great job.”
“Five years now. I needed to escape the city...”
I stopped talking and hoped she didn't press me for more information.
“Why did you have to escape? I've always been a city girl.”
“A lot of reasons, but the biggest one was this woman I'd met in college.”
“Ah, love. I've been able to avoid that so far in my life.”
We continued eating in silence. When she was done, she looked across the table at me.
“I have some extra sweat pants if you want some clean clothes to change into.”
“Thanks. A shower would be great. I'll try to stay out of your way.”
“Oh, you're no bother. It's kind of nice to have someone else around. I'm just going to read this afternoon, I think.”
“Sounds like a plan. I could go for a good book.”
“You couldn't be snowed into a better place.”
After we were done with breakfast, she retrieved a pair of gray sweat pants for me. As I took a shower, the warm water streaming over my body, I couldn't help thinking about Teona. She was such a beautiful and strong woman. What were the chances that I'd be trapped in a house on the mountain with someone like her? I knew they were astronomical.

When James went upstairs to take a shower in the master bathroom, I went back to my book. Women in Love was a lot different than I had expected, especially since it was about the first World War. The characters were intriguing, but I loved the way that Lawrence worked the physical into the novel. I was well read enough to know that it hadn't been common in the time period he wrote in.
Logs in the fireplace crackled as a wave of warmth washed over me. After a few chapters, I heard James walk down the stairs and go into the kitchen. Curious, I set the book down on the coffee table still open so I didn't lose my place or rabbit ear the page. As I crept toward the back of the house, I felt a strange feeling of attraction. What was happening? I wondered.
Then, when I turned the corner and saw James stretching to get a box from the top of the pantry, I knew why I was attracted to him. He had an amazing body. I had always been attracted to white men, but I had never dated any. Dating wasn't really my thing, but all the men I'd had a relationship with had been black. Why was that? I watched his broad shoulders and bulging arms as he stopped stretching.
“Stealing all my food, are you?” I asked.
Startled, he turned around. “No, I was taking stock. I didn't want to bother you.”
“You're not a bother. Like I said, it's nice to have you here. I think I'd be freaking out if I was snowed in by myself.”
“Didn't you want to be alone?”
“Well, yeah, but with it being my decision.”
He nodded. “Looks like you weren't lying about being stocked up here.”
“That's good for us.”
Silence fell over the room as I tried not to stare at the slight bulge in the sweat pants which were a little too tight for him. It had been a long time since I had last been with a man. Was this fate's way of making sure I really had a good vacation?
“If you want to talk when you're done, I'm in the living room.”
“Isn't it funny how no one really just talks anymore because of televisions, tablets and cell phones?”
“Right? It's crazy. Let's get our talk on.”
He followed me back into the living room where the fire was roaring. We talked about our jobs, the weather, and other general bullshit topics. A lot of unspoken words were flying through the air. I caught him checking out my breasts more than once when he thought I wasn't looking.
After only an hour, he took off to the first floor bedroom to read. I didn't ask him what book he had picked because I wanted us to have something else to talk about during lunch. He was attractive to me, but we had both found it a little difficult to open up and really talk.

As I made lunch, I checked out the liquor situation. A couple bottles of whiskey, rum, vodka and other spirits were located in one of the cupboards. I was a little surprised they had so many stocked. When James walked in, I slammed the door shut then went back to finishing our sandwiches.
“Hope you're okay with turkey and Swiss cheese,” I said.
“That's fine. It sounds good actually. Were you checking on the liquor situation?”
He chuckled as he pointed at the cabinet door I'd just slammed.
“Oh, I thought that's where I saw something else. Looks like they really stocked the house, though.”
“I wondered if you were some kind of professional drinker or something when I saw them earlier.”
“No, I'm not an alcoholic.”
“I didn't mean...”
“I know.” I moved the tray of sandwiches from the sink to the table. “Lunch is served.”
“I need to go back upstairs and see if it's still snowing.”
“Was it still coming down when you got your book?”
He nodded and picked up one of the sandwiches.
“About the same. It's probably stopped now and then, but it looks like it's dropped at least a couple feet. The winds caused it to blow up against th
e house and practically bury us.”
“We have snow in Philly, but nothing like this.”
“Like I said, I've never seen it this bad either.”
“It would have to come down on my vacation.” I laughed, then added, “Not that it's been that bad so far.”
We ate our sandwiches and drank milk. After lunch, he actually helped me clean up, which was really nice. None of the men I'd dated before would have done such a thing. When we were done in the kitchen, we returned to the living room. Somehow, the topic of cards was brought up, and I pulled out the deck I'd found in one of the end tables next to the couch.
He sat cross legged on the floor across the coffee table from me as we played Hearts. I had to show him how to play, but he picked it up quickly. Not only did he have a nice body, he seemed to have a great mind as well. As the game progressed, I found myself flirting with him. To my surprise, he flirted back. Did he have a thing for black women? Or was cabin fever getting to us both already?

Later that evening, I made a salad and some steaks I had thawing most of the day. While I wasn't the best cook in the world, I knew my way around a kitchen. He said he loved the food, and as fast as he ate it, I believed him. As far as I could tell, he was probably one of the most honest men I'd ever met or might ever meet in my entire life. There was something special about him.

When I finished the last of my steak, I set my fork down and pushed the plate away. I smiled at her as I stretched. It was one of the better meals I'd had in a while.
“That was great,” I said.
“Thanks. I try.”
“I'm going to check on the fire real quick.”
“Trying to get out of dishes, huh?” she said in a teasing voice.
I smiled as I stood up. “I'll be back.”
“You better.”
As I walked away, I wondered if she was really flirting with me. I wasn't an expert on the matter, but she had seemed to take a liking to me in the short time we'd been trapped together. Maybe it was the fact that we were both out of our normal realm? Whatever it was, I had met her around twenty four hours earlier, but I felt as if I'd known her most of my life.
She was very attractive, but I imagined a successful woman like her only dated men of her own race. I had nothing to base that on, really, but it gave me an excuse to not try to flirt back with her too much. The problem was that I found myself flirting with her without even thinking about it. I felt comfortable around her for some reason.
I threw a few more logs in the fire then headed back to the kitchen to help her clean up. We stood side my side at the sink, our skin touching briefly for a second a few times. I loved the way she laughed when I tried to say something humorous. Was she really interested in me? I knew there was only one way to find out.
“How about we have some of that whiskey to stay warm,” I said as I dried my hands on the dish towel.
“How about cranberry juice and vodka?”
“That works too. I'm not particular.”
“Not a big drinker, are you?”
“No.”
“Good. I'm not either.”
Her smile flashed in my direction once again. I still wasn't tired of it, and I didn't see myself ever tiring of seeing it. She obviously took care of herself, because she had a really nice figure. I was usually really good about judging a person's age, but I couldn't pin her down any more specific that she was in her twenties.
She made us each a drink. I carried the bottle of vodka and cranberry juice into the living room with us.
“We're going to be lushes now, huh?”
“Just in case we get cold again later.”
I smiled at her and winked, instantly regretting the last action. She didn't seem to mind. In the living room, we sat on the couch.
“To being snowed in,” she said and raised her glass.
“To being snowed in with someone cool.”
We clinked our glasses then drank. I sat back on the comfortable couch and stared at the fire. The more we drank, the more we began to talk. She reached out a few times and touched me on the arm.
“What was your worst job?” she asked then took another long drink.
“Well, I don't know if I should tell you this, but...”
“Tell me, tell me,” she teased.
“I was an exotic dancer.”
“A stripper,” she exclaimed then reached out to lightly hit me on the arm again. “Get out.”
“I liked to think of myself more as an exotic dancer, but yeah.”
“Sorry, exotic dancer. You need to show me some of your moves.”
“I don't know if that's a good idea.”
“Why?”
“Well, you might get turned on...”
She laughed. “I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm laughing with you.”
A moment later, she was halfway across the room. Then she spun around and walked back.
“I just forgot I told them to take out all the electronics, but I can give you a beat.”
I'm not sure exactly what she was thinking, but she started humming some ridiculous tune. I sat on the couch and waved her off.
“Okay, okay, you've had your laugh.”
“Aw, come on. I want a show.”
When she pouted at me, I couldn't resist. I stood up and began gyrating to her attempt at a tune. We were on our third or fourth drink, and I felt the alcohol in my bloodstream and affecting my decision making, but I didn't care. I stared across the room at her and began dancing toward her as I pulled my t-shirt over my head and tossed it in her direction.
She squealed in delight as I continued to move closer to her. Next, I slowly dipped my fingers into the waistband of the sweat pants and pulled them down as I turned around and showed her my ass. She clapped and hollered as I pulled them all the way down, leaving my bikini briefs on. Slowly, I turned around to face her. Her face was animated as she stared at me with a hunger in her eyes.
I knew I'd come too far to turn back, so I slowly slid my underwear down facing away from her. When I turned back around, she looked right down at my cock as it hung between my legs. She wasn't laughing anymore. Another look was on her face, one of sexual abandon and desire. As the fire crackled and burned, I walked toward her.

Teona
When he was completely naked in front of me, I knew I wanted him. We had just met, but between the odd circumstances and the alcohol we'd been drinking, I felt as if it was okay to be a little impulsive. As he watched, I opened the robe I'd put on after dinner, knowing I only had on a pair of white, lacy panties. I saw desire on his face as he looked at my full breasts.
The robe dropped to the floor and I slipped my panties down. He continued staring at my body, devouring me with his eyes. Naked, I walked toward him. Then I felt my breasts press against his hard chest. My arms wrapped around him as he bent his head slightly to kiss me. His lips were soft, but he was forceful, as if he was a man that knew exactly what he wanted.
I moaned as his hands grabbed my ass cheeks and he pulled me closer to him. His cock twitched a little as our bodies pressed against each other and we kissed. My mouth opened and his tongue slid in, dancing around mine as if it had a mind of its own. I moved back a little and reached down to grab him. His cock has longer than a hand, but it was thin.
Suddenly, he picked me up in his strong arms and carried me over to the couch. I kissed him again, wondering what he was going to do but not caring what it was as long as he did it hot and hard. He tossed me on the couch, and I looked up at him. His eyes continued to roam over my body as he got down on his knees in front of me. I wrapped my legs around him, capturing him.
He leaned forward and kissed one nipple then the other. My legs unwrapped, and I spread them apart as he started kissing lower. When his lips touched my stomach, I felt my body flutter briefly. Then his tongue laid a trail to my neatly trimmed bush. He skirted around the final destination and kissed m
e on my inner thighs. I sighed and reached down to run my hands over his close cropped hair.
“Kiss me,” I begged.
“Kiss you where?”
“You know where.”
“Here?”
His tongue briefly brushed my outer lips.
“Yes,” I hissed, pressing his head down.
He used his entire face to make love to my pussy. Everywhere he touched felt wonderful. At the same time, his hands played with my breasts, pinching my nipples. I found myself breathing more quickly as the rest of the world faded away. Between my legs was all that mattered to me. Gradually, I felt an orgasm building up. He seemed to sense it as well, slowing down a little.
Then, just when I thought he was going to stop completely, he slid a finger into my tight, wet hold and began moving it around as he teased my clitoris with the tip of his tongue. This quickly brought me to the edge and flung me over. My entire body squirmed as I screamed out when the explosion happened. I had to push his face away because I was so sensitive.
When he stood up and smiled at me, I knew the night was just beginning. I sat up, put my hands on his cheeks and kissed him. I didn't care about tasting my own juices. All that mattered was making him happy after what he had just done for me. I forgot all about the snow outside and the fact that we were trapped as I continued to kiss him.
He stood up, and I saw that he was hard. I grabbed his ass cheeks and pulled him closer to me as I sat on the edge of the couch. The tip of his dick slipped past my lips. His taste was slightly salty, but not the worst that I'd had in my mouth before. I lifted my head and looked up at his face as I slid more and more of him into my mouth.
I saw his chest rising and falling as he looked down at me and smiled. My head bobbed up and down a few times when I felt his hand on the back of my head. He didn't apply any pressure, but I still liked the sensation. After another moment or two, I stopped sucking him and pushed him back gently. When he was out of the way, I got down on my hands and knees on the floor.
