The Plug's Daughter 2: It's Love and War Page 15

by Nika Michelle

She stared into my eyes and hers were so vulnerable.

“You promise?” She asked. Her voice was so sweet.

“Hell yeah. I ain’t goin’ nowhere ma.”

We kissed and I felt her tears fall onto my face.

In less than seconds we came together because the moment was so intense. I just stayed inside of her and held her in my arms. We didn’t move for what seemed like hours, but it was only minutes.

  * * *

After our love making session we decided to take it to the shower. It was still early and I felt restless.

“You wanna go out for a drink or two?” I asked suddenly feeling the urge to go out to a bar or something.

“Yeah. You know I’m sick of being cramped inside.”

“Okay, let’s get dressed and hit a blunt. We’ll get a few drinks and grind a lil’ bit.”

“Sounds like a plan.” She kissed me and then softly nibbled on my bottom lip.

I slapped one of her fat ass cheeks before turning the shower off.

“C’mon sexy before we both turn into raisins.”

She giggled and sashayed out of the shower with her towel in hand. I couldn’t take my eyes off her thick ass with that nice gap between her thighs. Mmm. When we were in the bedroom I dried off, but my eyes were still on her as she reached in a drawer for some underwear.

“Don’t get dressed yet ma. Just stay naked until we finish smokin’. I like lookin’ at you.”

She smiled. “As long as you stay naked too.”

As she oiled her body down I rolled the blunt. I hoped that shit wasn’t fucked up because I was watching her the whole time. If all of the weed was everywhere except for in the blunt I wouldn’t be surprised.

“Do you think my mother’s dead?” Sen asked in a soft voice as she laid beside me on the bed.

I blew the smoke out of my mouth in O’s before I passed it to her.

“I’on know ma. All I know is you ain’t got shit to worry ‘bout. As a matter of fact I don’t want you goin’ back to yo’ spot. You gon’ stay wit’ me until shit’s straight. After that it’s up to you what you wanna do. I wasn’t just talkin’ ‘cause I was inside of yo’ sweetness. I’m really not gon’ leave you ma. I was mad and shit, but I then I put myself in yo’ shoes. To be honest, I would’ve done the same shit. Not to condone it. I still want you to fall back when I tell you to. That ride or die shit’s sexy though ma. Straight the fuck up.”

She kissed my cheek before passing the blunt back to me. “I’m changing Keys. I can feel it. I have you to thank for that. Your love lets me know that I’m not alone anymore.”

“And you’ll never be alone again baby.”

We finished smoking the blunt and then got dressed. It was hard not to try to get some more of that good good, but I felt the need for us to be out and about. Shit, we were young. Once again, being like a normal couple seemed like the thing to do.

Pin Ups Strip Club on Ponce De Leon in Decatur was where we ended up. After a few Patron shots and grubbing on some bomb ass lemon pepper wings and fries, my baby was ready to rub up on some ass. She’d confessed to having sexual relations with a few chicks in the past. However, she claimed to not really be bisexual.

“I mean, of course as you can tell, I prefer men. I don’t mind gettin’ down wit’ a bitch though, shit. Women are sexy as fuck and I like getting my pussy licked.”

That shit turned me on. That was why when Dare, a fine chocolate thick chick, and Vanilla a slim, but curvy, red bone, walked up, I gave them a couple twenties to dance up on my girl for a minute.

Sen eyed me sexily as the lovely naked vanilla, chocolate swirl twirled and grinded on her lap. My dick jumped when I spied Dare breaking the rules. Sen had on a short ass skirt with no panties and old girl had her fingers all up in my girl’s pussy. Vanilla’s mouth was on her nipples, so she was going against the grain too.

“I wanna take her home,” she mouthed as she pointed at Dare.

All I did was wink at her as I enjoyed the show. After taking down my third shot of Patron I was ready for whatever.

“You sure?” I whispered in her ear.

“Yeah, but you ain’t fuckin’ her.”

I chuckled. “That’s cool wit’ me ma. I just wanna watch.”

After the lap dance/freak show was over, I pulled old girl Dare to the side.

“What time you get off sexy?”

She smiled at me. “In ‘bout thirty minutes. What you got in mind?”

“My girl wanna get wit’ you. I’ll make it worth yo’ while.” I showed her a knot of money.

“Okay cool. Just gimme about ten extra minutes to clean up.”

“That’s fine. We’ll be right here when you ready ma.”

She walked off and I tried not to watch her fat ass jiggle.

Sen laughed. “It’s okay baby. That bitch’s bad. You can look.”

Damn, a nigga had hit the jack pot.

  * * *

It had been a long night, but a nigga wasn’t complaining. Once again we’d had a good time without something crazy happening. Sen had woke me up to give old girl some cab fare and I was out like a light after. I’d watched that fine bitch eat my girl’s pussy and ass out for hours. At first I jacked off, but then Sen decided to suck me off. After that I climbed behind her and slid up in that pussy while old girl slurped it up. Mmm, all of my fantasies had came true.

My phone rang and woke me up an hour or so later. It was Mendosa, so I hurried up and answered. Sen was asleep beside me and I attempted to slip out of the bed without her noticing.

  “Yo.”

“I got something on that bitch,” he said all quick and shit.

I opened the door and slipped out into the hallway. “What?”

“She been in Miami the whole time. She didn’t even go to Puerto-Rico.”

“What? Missy’s in Miami?” I lowered my voice. “What the fuck?”

“Exactly what I wanna know. I’m headin’ out in a few hours to find out. Just don’t tell Sen anything until I know something for sure. Okay?”

I nodded. “Yeah, but I’m tired of keepin’ shit from her. She needs to know what’s going on.”

As I braced myself for him to lash out, I was surprised when he said, “You’re right. We’ll tell her the truth. Just not right now.”

“A’ight. Let me know what’s up asap.”

  “I will. Later.”

  “Later.”

I hung up and headed to the kitchen to cook some breakfast. The plan was to go check out Dame, but I was starving. My mind was on Mendosa and what he was going to dig up about Sen’s mother. It was going to kill her to know that the man who tried to murder her was connected to her mother. It was possible that it was just a revenge plot that Missy didn’t know about, but lying about where she was told me that it was more to the story.

My boy was looking even better as if he was starting to heal instantly. At first his liver and kidneys were failing and he had to be on dialysis, but his mother informed me that his organs were now functioning properly. After he got out of the hospital he would have to take some meds for a while. According to Dame he would be released in a few days.

“Good to see you doin’ better nigga.”

He grunted. “I’ll be glad when I get outta here man. All I want is a blunt.”

I laughed. “I feel you man. I’ll have ten of them thangs twisted up for you.”

Although I was glad things had made a turn for the better, I still needed to know something.

“Look man, I’on mean to bring this shit up right now.”

“What’s up?” He asked as he sat up.

“Uh, when you said that you slipped and told JJ where my stash was, what was that all about man?”

“It wasn’t like you think my nigga. JJ was runnin’ his mouth talkin’ ‘bout he didn’t understand how you ain’t never got caught up in no shit since high school. It was like he was reachin’ and I f
ell for that shit. At the time I didn’t see what he was doin’ but of course after he took yo’ shit it made sense. He kept sayin’ you was stupid for keepin’ yo’ work where you lay yo’ head. I slipped up and said you wasn’t dumb enough to keep that shit at yo’ crib and you keep it at yo’ pops spot.” He shook his head. “Why the fuck I tell that nigga that?”

“Y’en know he was plottin’ man. It’s all good.” I filled him in vaguely on the situation with Kelly, JJ and Mack.

“What? I thought Mack was in Alabama.”

“He was, but he came back. The plan was for him and Kelly to go back there, but it didn’t work out.”

“Wow, speakin’ of plans. Get on Facebook real quick,” Dame said.

“What the fuck’s on Facebook my nigga?” I hadn’t been on social media since all of the chaos with Sen and everything else.

“Just go on Arica’s page real quick.”

“You seen her?” I asked him.

“Just do what I said man.”

I assessed my FB app and then searched for Arica’s page. She and Deliah were posed with the kids on her cover photo. That was new.

“Stroll down her timeline and tell me what you see,” he said.

When I saw it my mouth fell open. “Umm, what the hell?”

Arica and Deliah were actually kissing in one of the pictures. I knew for them to get down with Dame, but never without him.

“Yeah, word is they together now. Those bitches tried to kill me…together. Word is they moved to VA wit’ my fuckin’ kids,” he spat angrily.

“Fuck man, what you gon’ do?”

He shook his head. “I’on know. I keep feelin’ like I deserved that shit.”

“So that mean you ain’t gon’ do shit?”

“I’m still here man. What? I can’t kill the mothers of my children, although I want to fuck both them bitches up.”

Wow, now that was some crazy ass shit.

  “Those detectives been back?”

“Nah,” Dame said as his eyes drifted up to look behind me.

I instinctively looked back and was face to face with that fine chick that Arica had ran away from their house with those gun shots. Confusion took over me. That bitch hadn’t learned to leave that nigga alone? I guess his near death experience had made her run back. All I could do was hope that nigga had changed.

“Denise, you really came,” he said with his eyes lighting all up and shit.

My guess was that nigga needed somebody. He had lost Arica, Deliah and his children. To be completely honest, I felt sorry for him.

“Well, I’m gon’ head out man. I got some drops to make.”

Dame pounded me up. “A’ight Keys. Thank you for bein’ a real nigga.”

  “Already.”

On my way out I spoke to old girl and then headed to my whip. A feeling came over me. It was like a warning of something to come. I shook my head as I got behind the wheel. What the fuck could possibly happen next? I didn’t even want to know.

  * * *

Before making my drops I had tried calling Sen, but got no answer. Something told me that she was still sleep since it was still early. I guess she was spent after our little thing with old girl. Instead of making my drops as planned, I decided to swing by the crib to check up on her.

When I got inside it was deafeningly quiet. Sen had been driving her Range again and it wasn’t parked outside. Suddenly my gut told me that something wasn’t right. That was when I found the note on the dining room table.

  Keys,

I’m sorry. I would’ve texted this to you, but I didn’t want you to have time to stop me. I didn’t try to, but I overheard your conversation with my father this morning. I’m going to Miami. I have to find out what’s going on with my mother. This is my life Keys. I know that I told you I wouldn’t do this again, but this is about me, not you. I love you and I never want to lie to you or hurt you again. Please, just let me handle this.

  Sen

I balled the paper up and threw it across the room in frustration.

  “Shit!”

After I dialed Mendosa’s number, I headed to my car. The call went straight to the voicemail. I guess I was taking a trip to Miami too, but first I had to figure out where I was going. It was time to do some quick detective work. It was a good thing I had a key to Sen’s condo, but I had to hurry.

  Chapter 13

  Mendosa

It wasn’t hard finding out exactly where Melissa would be when I got to Miami because the PI that I’d hired pulled out all the stops by slapping a tracker on her car. How could she be dumb enough to be in Miami if somebody was after her? I was wondering if she’d ever left. Did she know that nigga I’d tried to kill years ago was after our daughter, or did she think it was the same people that Sen had suspected? As far as I knew Sen hadn’t told her all of the details about what happened.

“Her silver Lexus is parked in B 22,” the deep voice stated over the phone.

I walked right into the parking garage and headed toward the B section. Having a key to her car wasn’t necessary. The proper tool to open her car door was placed in the pocket of my jeans. My long shirt covered the top of it.

“Okay, I see it. Thanks for everything man.”

“No problem. Anytime. Will that be all?”

“Yeah, for now. It’s a package waitin’ for you at the hotel.”

  “Cool.”

We hung up and I proceeded to break into Melissa’s car. My thoughts were on tripping her alarm, but I knew how to turn it off. Just as I thought, as soon as the door opened the horn blared. I quickly turned it off and it was quiet as I crawled into the back seat and waited for my ex-wife.

  * * *

It felt like an eternity had passed before I spotted Melissa walking toward the car with a bunch of shopping bags. She had a different hairstyle since the last time I’d seen her. Usually she wore her hair cropped close to her shoulders, but she was sporting a long wavy look. Her caramel complexion was just as clear and flawless as it was twenty years ago. I had to admit that she still looked damn good.

She opened the car door after throwing her bags in the trunk and sat down behind the wheel. I patiently waited for her to drive out of the garage before I announced my presence. It took her a while because she was doing something on her phone. My patience was wearing thin, but I waited.

“Shit, where the fuck is he?” She huffed in an irritated voice before throwing her phone in the cup holder.

Finally, she pulled off and then passed the ticket to the absent minded woman at the booth. That chick wasn’t even looking, or she would’ve seen me crouched down in the back of the car. Once Melissa was on the street, I decided to sit up swiftly. Our eyes caught in the rear view mirror as I put the cold steel of my gun to her side. I would’ve put it to her head, but we were in traffic and I didn’t want anybody to see what was going on.

“Mendosa?” Her eyes were wide with shock and fear as she put her hand to her heart. “You scared me.”

“Surprise,” I said sarcastically. “Now, explain to me why the fuck you in Miami when you supposed to be in Puerto-Rico runnin’ for yo’ life.”

  “Sen told you…”

  “Everything,” I hissed.

Her eyes said it all. She had something to hide.

“Talk bitch. I thought you were in Puerto-Rico and you thought my baby girl would never tell me about what you did. What the fuck kind of mother are you to ask yo’ own daughter to do some shit like that? I didn’t pay for her to have the best education for you to turn her into a fuckin’ whore! What the hell is wrong wit’ you woman? You never loved her. Why?” I would get to the other shit later.

“I’ll talk, but my nerves are bad with you holding that damn gun on me. Uh, is there somewhere you want me to go...?”

“Yeah, somewhere where I can kill yo’ ass and nobody’ll hear or see shit. I shouldn’t have let you get her. If I could turn back the hands of time I would. You wouldn’t have ever damaged my daughter if I
could change things!”

She rolled her eyes. “If you kill me you won’t get your answers. I know you Mendosa. Better than you know yourself. If you were gonna kill me you would’ve just blown my brains out already. Stop with the dramatics. My house isn’t far.”

That bitch really didn’t know me, because if she did she’d know that I was going to enjoy drawing her death out. Okay, if the hoe wanted to die at home, that was fine with me.

“You’re right.” Maybe if I made her think I wasn’t really going to kill her she’d cooperate.

As she drove there was an awkward silence and then her phone rang.

“Don’t touch that damn phone.” My gun was still pressed into her side.

“Please, can you just put the gun down?”

“Hell nah. Just like you know me, I know you. I’m not really worried though. Not unless you got a weapon on you, ‘cause I already got the .45 that was in your arm rest and the 380 that was in the glove compartment. Oh and I got the switchblade that was under your seat too.”

So, for the next twenty minutes neither of us said a word. Suddenly she slowed down in front of a gated community with beautiful, sprawling homes. After she put in the code it slowly opened and she drove in. She drove for another five minutes and then pulled up into a winding driveway.

  “Park in the garage.”

She did as I said and then glanced back at me.

“So, are we getting out, or we’re finishing this conversation here?”

“That’s always been yo’ fuckin’ problem bitch. You talk too much. Get the fuck out the car!”

I held the gun on her as she got out with an attitude. She led me inside of the house and I had to decide how I was going to play the situation out. Would I be real and keep it one hundred? Should I let her know that I was there to end her miserable ass life once or for all? Or should I put the gun down and use the power I had over her to find out what I wanted first?

“Sit down,” I demanded with the gun still pointed at her.

As she plopped down on the sofa, I cocked the gun. The weapons I’d confiscated from her were still on the floor in the back of her car. I knew that she had weapons in the house too because I knew how she rolled. Being the ex-wife of a Kingpin had afforded her such instinct. It was just my goal not to let her get to them. Missy was not just a female pimp. She’d kill in a heartbeat too.
