Mr. Beast_An Enemies to Lovers Romance Page 69

by Nicole Elliot

  *

After practice that evening, I rushed home, wanting to make my room a bit more romantic before she came over. I’d never done anything like that for the many women I’d dated or slept with over the last two years in college.

Brooke was special. The thought had started deep down in my mind, so silent, but over time it had risen in volume. Now, I found it hard to go even an hour without thoughts of her popping up. Our memories were few but intense.

When I walked in the front door, I saw Brian and Teddy sitting on the couch. What was unusual about the situation is that they were studying and not playing a game. I wondered briefly if I should just go upstairs and mind my own business, but I stayed and cleared my throat.

“Hey, fellas. What’s up?” I asked, trying to sound normal.

“Oh, hey, Austin. You’re home early.”

“Yeah, Brooke is coming over tonight. I want to do the room up right.”

“You need lights,” Brian said, surprising both Teddy and me.

We looked at him sitting on the couch.

“Christmas lights. They’re classic and set a mood. That and music.”

Damn, he did know how to talk!

“Thanks, Brian. You don’t happen to have any extra Christmas lights, do you?”

He smiled and nodded his head.

  “Sweet.”

“Can you get them for me now? She’s coming over soon.”

  “Sure,” Brian said.

“Have you guys heard what they’re saying about me online?” I asked as we walked into Brian’s room. He and Teddy shared. It was pretty basic with another TV on one wall. But it had a crack, which is why they constantly played downstairs.

“Yeah,” Teddy said, making eye contact with me. “We know it’s bullshit.”

“Good. I don’t want it affecting anything, you know?”

  “You mean with Brooke?”

“With anyone. I respect women. I’m not the player they say I am.”

“We know that man. No one really believes it. Don’t worry. Just focus on you.”

  *

She smiled as soon as she walked into my bedroom and saw the colored lights running around the room, setting some kind of mood.

  “Ooh, romantic,” she teased.

I shut the door. Unable to resist any longer, I walked over to her and put my hands on her waist. We made eye contact a moment before I leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

  “Now I see your plan.”

  “Yeah? You like?”

  She nodded her head.

  “I do.”

“You know I really care about you, right?” I wondered if she had read some of the tweets, if she believed any of it.

“Austin, yes. I’m sorry I was so cold the other morning. It just all seemed so dumb. Who cares what people post online?”

  “I know, you’re right.”

“And if Jocelyn was involved, I’ll fix it, I promise.”

We kissed again, my hands roaming all over her body. She fumbled with my jeans, unbuttoning them. When her small, delicate hand slipped into my underwear, I took a deep breath.

As she tugged at my dick, I lifted her shirt. She let go of me and lifted her arms into the air, allowing me to take it all the way off. I quickly reached around and unstrapped her bra.

It fell to the floor with no fanfare, exposing her perfectly shaped breasts. I placed my hand over one, squeezing, as I bent my head to take her other nipple into my mouth.

The taste and texture drove me wild. I’d always been a nipple man. They fascinated me. I felt her hand slide my jeans down along with my underwear.

I stepped back and took off my shirt while she removed the rest of her clothes. We were soon standing completely naked in front of each other.

  “Austin,” she whispered.

  “Yeah?”

I moved forward and put a hand on her waist.

  “Let’s go slow tonight, okay?”

“Sure,” I said, nodding my head.

She smiled, making her look even more beautiful. After taking my hand in hers, she led me to my bed. I kissed her again as we stood next to it.

Her soft, silky skin contrasted with my hard flesh in a way that drove me crazy. I wanted to protect her, fuck her, make her mine forever.

Did she even understand what she did to me?

“Lay down,” she said, taking control.

I did as she said, laying on my back. She crawled onto the mattress between my spread legs, staring at me with her wide-open hazel-colored eyes.

Kneeling between my legs, she ran her fingers over my stomach, causing me to breathe faster as blood rushed to my cock, slowly inflating it.

“I love your body,” she said in a sexy voice, still teasing me with her fingers.

As I watched her intently, she replaced her hand with her mouth, bending over to kiss my abs. The feeling of her tongue on my flesh drove me wild.

Ever so slowly, she moved downward, trailing a path with her wet tongue so pink and wonderful. Her cheek brushed against my cock.

I inhaled deeply, wanting her to get on with it. After a few kisses just above my pubic hair, she glanced up at me. I nodded my head, begging her with my facial expression.

She grinned, knowing exactly what she was doing as she teased me with her mouth, kissing all around my cock while managing to miss it completely.

“Fuck,” I muttered, wishing she would get on with it.

When she wrapped her cool, thin fingers around my cock, lifting it, I closed my eyes, enjoying the sensation as it got even harder in her hand.

  “You like that, don’t you?”

I nodded my head, trying to stay cool. Just when it was getting good, she pulled her hand away. I opened my eyes, looking down at her.

  “Please,” I begged.

  “Please what?” she teased.

  “Suck it.”

She stared up at me, my half-hard cock swinging back and forth a few inches from her mouth so soft, warm and wet.

As I watched, not taking my eyes off her for a moment, her pink tongue slid between her lips and barely touched my skin.

  “Brooke,” I groaned.

Holding my cock at the base, she slipped just the tip into her mouth, driving me wild as she swirled her tongue around the mushroom head.

It took everything I had not to sit up, bend her over, and fuck her like a madman. She stroked my shaft with one hand while sucking a bit more into her mouth.

My dick swelled, approaching full-size and then some. I hadn’t been that hard in a long while, which told me everything I needed to know about Brooke.

She was the one for me, I thought as her head bobbed up and down while she stroked me with her hand. The combination of both turned me on even more.

I reached down, running my fingers through her hair as she truly did make love to me with her mouth. I’d had blowjobs before, but none of them compared.

She lifted her head and smiled up at me as she continued tugging with her hand. My chest rose and fell quickly as all the blood in my body rushed between my legs.

  “You have a condom?”

“Yeah,” I managed to say, leaning over to open the drawer of my nightstand.

A moment later, I handed her one. She ripped the package open and took out the latex sheath. I stared at her, unable to look away, as she put the reservoir tip between her lips.

As she unrolled it onto my cock with her mouth, I wondered briefly what it would be like to fuck her without one. When she finished, she crawled onto my lap, rubbing her pussy.

I grabbed my dick and held it straight as she lowered herself onto it. As soon as I entered her pussy, I knew I wouldn’t last long. How could I when it felt so damn good?

We made eye contact as the last inch slipped into her tight, wet pussy. I never wanted another. She had everything I needed, wanted, and more.

I blocked out the noise coming from downstairs as she lifted herself again, so slowly, inch by delicious inch. Then down again, bac
k into that tight hole.

A moan fell from her lips as I squeezed her breasts. She leaned forward, causing them to hang down as she rode me faster, milking my cock with her pussy.

I moved my hands to her ass cheeks, squeezing them as I thrust upward and into her. Her eyes scrunched up as she continued moaning, her breathing increasing.

“Brooke,” I said, enjoying the way her name sounded on my lips.

  “Austin…”

Our bodies fell into a natural rhythm as I penetrated her repeatedly. Her pussy, so tight and wet, fit me like a fucking glove. Even with the condom, my body tingled as I rushed toward an orgasm. She stared directly into my eyes.

By the look on her face and the squeals of delight coming from her mouth, she was feeling good too. I tried to blank out my mind to last even longer. Unlike a lot of the women I fucked around with, I cared about her feeling good too.

I moved my hands up her back, pulling her down and pressing her breasts against my chest. She kissed my lips as I slid in and out of her.

I felt her pussy squeezing my dick tightly as her whole body shook.

“Yes, baby,” I cooed, loving her O-face.

She didn’t slow down, still bouncing up and down on my dick. I thrust up when she came down, pushing even deeper inside her as my own orgasm approached.

I stared into her hazel eyes. The entire universe suddenly made sense, at least for that particular moment in time. My mind and body were hers.

  “Come for me, baby.”

Unable to stop what was happening as the pressure built up, I let myself go, grabbing her hips and thrusting deep inside her one final time as I came.

She smiled down at me, looking so peaceful and pretty. The intense pleasure had peaked, but every inch of my body felt wonderful.

“Come here,” I said, pulling her down.

I kissed those magic lips of her, never wanting to leave her warm, wet pussy. Not ever.

“It keeps getting better,” she said.

  “Right?”

She climbed off me. I took the condom off and dropped it to the floor as she laid down next to me on the bed, her silky hair touching my chest.

I held her tight, running my hand up and down her back.

“Can we talk?” she asked quietly and I rubbed her skin.

Uh oh. This can’t be good.

  “Sure. What’s on your mind?”

“Oh, I don’t know, but it seems all we ever talk about is football or sex.”

  I laughed.

“I’m serious,” she said, head resting on my chest. “I need to know where this is going. Where we fit into each other’s lives. Pro football, medicine, it’s all kind of a lot.”

“Yeah but I like to let that all fall away when I’m with you. But we’re not no strings attached anymore, are we?”

She broke away and propped herself up with an elbow while watching my face intently.

“I told you I was falling for you Austin, you still haven’t responded.”

I leaned forward and gave her a peck on the lips. “I’m falling for you too. For the first time since I can remember, I am thinking about something other than football. My whole future is wrapped up in that game. And now…”

  “Now?” she pressed.

“Now I have someone to consider in all that.”

“Me too, but it’s different now, right? I mean, we’re in a relationship. Is that going to mess up my plans of becoming a Nurse Practitioner?”

“I hope not. I’ll support anything you want to do.”

  “What about you, though?”

  I sighed.

“Wow. These are some deep thoughts.”

“I know, but we can’t keep pretending we’re not thinking them.”

“Yeah…” I rolled over on my side, facing her. “How do you feel about getting our own place next semester? That could be a good next step.”

“Are you serious? I’m so tired of Jocelyn.”

“Me too,” I said. “Me too.”

The rest of the evening, we hung out together, talking and getting to know each other better. She told me a funny story about chasing an ice cream truck when she was in the fifth grade. I let her know about the first time I played with a football.

Beyond the random facts from our past, we opened up to each other in a way we had never done before.

  TWENTY-FOUR

  Brooke

When I returned home the next morning, I found Jocelyn sitting in my recliner crying. What now? I thought, not wanting to deal with her after such a great night.

She glanced up as I walked over.

  “You’re in my seat.”

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she pouted.

  “I’m…I’m…I’m fine…”

“Obviously you’re not. What’s going on? I need to get to class.”

“Go ahead,” she sobbed. “I know I’m not important to you.”

  I sighed.

“If you’re not going to tell me what’s wrong, I’m leaving.”

“It’s Austin…he threatened me and stuff.”

“And stuff? What are you talking about? You were harassing him, weren’t you?”

“No, I told you I had nothing to do with it, but he sent me a nasty email last night.”

“Austin was with me last night.”

  “The whole night?”

  “Yes,” I said.

“Brooke I’m telling you he sent this horrible email. He threatened me.”

Another round of tears fell from her eyes. They appeared real, but it was hard to tell with her.

“I’ll call him now, but I’m sure he didn’t do anything.”

“He’s not going to admit it,” she complained.

“Maybe not, but I know him well enough to tell if he’s lying to me or not.”

She sniffed twice then wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.

I pulled out my phone and called Austin. He answered on the second ring.

“Hey, beautiful. You missing me already?”

“No,” I said, not knowing how to bring up the accusation. “Did you send any emails last night?”

“What do you mean? I was with you last night. You don’t remember?”

“I remember, but I need you to answer me.”

“Um, no. Why are you asking?”

“It’s nothing,” I lied. “I’ll call you later, okay? I need to take care of something.”

  “What’s going on?”

  “I’ll talk to you later.”

  “Okay…”

I ended the call then turned my attention to Jocelyn. While I believed Austin, I had never seen my roommate so upset before. Maybe she was attacked by someone else and thought it was Austin? If something had happened, we needed to report it.

“Come on,” I said, offering her my hand. “We’re going to report the attack.”

“No, I don’t want to get the police involved. I’ll be okay.”

“See…” I shook my head. “I knew you were making this up. You’re sick.”

“I’m not making it up,” she said, the waterworks starting again.

“Fine. We need to report it then.”

  “I’m afraid, Brooke.”

“I’ll go with you,” I said. “If we don’t report it, whoever this is might harass someone else.”

  “I don’t know…”

  “Let’s go. I don’t have all day.”

  “Don’t worry about it.”

“Look, if you were really threatened last night, you need to report it. Show me the email.”

She frowned, worry wrinkles appearing all over her face.

  *

She dragged her feet as we approached the front of the campus police station, a single-story tan brick building. I turned to face her.

“Come on, Jocelyn. This is the right thing to do.”

“I’m not important enough to report what happened.”

I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the glass door. After opening it, I waited for h
er to shuffle inside. Part of me hated myself for being so cold and mean, but I wasn’t sure if she was telling the truth or not. Something was up, but I couldn’t put my finger on it and she hadn’t even showed me the email yet.

Inside the lobby, a bored officer behind a desk looked up.

  “How can I help you?”

“My friend needs to report an online harassment,” I said.

He looked from me to her.

  “When did this happen?”

“The other night,” she said then burst into tears.

“I found her crying at our apartment.” I turned to her. “Didn’t you say it happened last night?”

  “I was wrong. I’m confused.”

“I’ll need to ask you some questions,” the officer said then turned to a computer on the desk and tapped at the keyboard.

“Can you show me the email?”

“Yes,” Jocelyn said in a quiet voice. She pulled out her phone shakily. She swiped through a few things and then handed it over to the cop.

He read it, his eyes widening. “These are some pretty serious threats,” he said as he continued to scroll.

“Yes,” she said. Now I felt bad, something really was going on.

“Has anyone threatened you bodily harm? In person I mean?”

“No, listen can I have my phone back? I just want to go.”

He handed it to her but said, “Hold on, miss.”

“I can’t,” she cried then sulked toward the door and left.

He looked up at me, his face full of confusion.

“I can give you her name. We just wanted to report it. I’m not sure what’s wrong with her.”

“Okay,” he said, turning to the computer.

I gave him her name, age, our address and other information.

“Be careful tonight,” he said after we finished. “I’ll ask for more patrols tonight.”

“They need to fix some of those lights on the trails, too,” I added.

“We don’t have anything to do with that maintenance, but I agree with you.”

  “Thank you, officer.”

“Here’s my card. Call me if something else happens. She didn’t give us a lot to work with. I didn’t even get a copy of the email.”

“I know,” I said, feeling bad as I took the card. “Thank you.”

  “Just doing my job.”

I waved then walked outside, expecting to see Jocelyn. She was nowhere in sight. Instead of rushing off to find her, I went to class a bit early. Austin sent a text on the walk over, but I didn’t answer. I wasn’t sure of anything anymore.
